on the one hand i dread pride month. on the other hand, i suspect the events of this june will contain some godhonest protests from the LGB. There are so many groups that have appeared since I joined this fight in 2021 who are fighting for us, who are willing to march and pay for our visibility against big brands, big pharma, youth culture, and respective governments. the tide is turning. The pendulum is swinging. We can make pride matter this year.

a gentle reminder that you did well this year. you met new people, learned new things and felt new feelings. you did so many things that made you scared. you picked yourself up off the floor after feeling completely defeated or heartbroken. there were some really tough nights but you survived them all. you made people happy just by existing. you accepted many goodbyes but the serendipitous meetings made up for them. it was your own hard work that paid off but you always downplay it or compare yourself to others. that’s not fair on yourself. you’ve come so far from the first day of this year. you have more wisdom and strength now. yes, other people seem more “successful” but does that even matter? please don’t think so lowly of yourself to only think about your failures. 2018 was your year of growth. I hope you take a moment to be kind to yourself, and believe that 2019 will be even better.

What do we think of the new Halsey album cover gyns??? This is a censored version, her entire boob is out in the actual cover. Tbh I’m really disturbed by the recent trend of women being partially naked on their album covers.

Here’s what Halsey said about this cover: “This album is a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth. I hate the idea that women need to be sexual in order to reclaim their ‘autonomy’, and that they need to be sexual in order to show that they’re worthy of being admired.
