"Surely not," she says, feigning innocence, all charm and pleasantries now. Whoops. Maybe this is not the time to antagonize.
And then he hits her with little miss and it's painfully difficult to keep her lip from curling with disgust at the phrasing. He's talking about fines and the numbers fly past her without much consideration.
"Going for a walk and loitering are hardly the same thing," she's trying to maintain her casual composure from before but there's the tiniest bite to her tone. "So unless you can come up with a legitimate grievance with me, I'll be off."
He’s squinting alright. He’s squinting real hard.
“Is that snarkasm I’m hearing?” Kotetsu puts his pen between the pages of his notebook and gives it a hard snap closed before resting his knuckles on his hip.
“Listen, little miss, I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but a fine for loitering outside of Konoha’s gates without express permission from the Hokage, accompaniment of a guide, or a notice of travel can run anywhere from 150,000 to 500,000 ryo,” Kotetsu pulls the numbers completely out of his ass as he waves his notepad at her derogatorily. He’s sure the numbers are somewhere in that ballpark…
“So if you can’t produce evidence of a travel notice or a Kage’s signature, I’ve got half a mind to smack a trespassing violation on top of the loitering charge! That’s another 75,000 to 250,000 ryo I’m sure you don’t have right now.”
“You’re not… how I thought you’d be.”
“Is this what you’re really like, or was that an act?”
“I need to know this is for real. If you’re not genuine, tell me right now.”
“You’re… good at that.”
“I didn’t realize you were - maybe we should start again. I’m [name].”
“So this is what the (in)famous [Name] is like behind closed doors.”
“You have a lot of experience with this.”
“Do you know what people say about you?”
“You’re just like they said.”
“Why don’t you correct them? When people talk about you, and they’re wrong?”
“I thought they were exaggerating about you.”
“I’ve wanted to meet you for a long time.”
“Am I safe with you?”
“Do you mean that?”
“I’m just trying to figure out why you’re here.”
“What made you get into this/that line of work?”
“Look, you’re either going to help, or you aren’t. Which one is it going to be?”
“You … you chose me.”
“I… no, nothing. I just didn’t realize you were brave.”
“You’re going to get yourself killed/fired, you know.”
“Have you always been like that?”
“That was kind.”
“That was good of you.”
“That was stupid.”
“You didn’t have to do that. But you did.”
“You were there. You didn’t have to be.”
“I think .. I have you to thank, for this.”
“I wouldn’t be here without you.”
“I wouldn’t have been there if it weren’t for you.”

“You’re dripping blood on the carpet.” “When I said scars are kinda sexy, I didn’t mean you should get one right away…” “Press that against the wound, I’m going to get the med kit.” “It’s bleeding quite badly.” “Oh God, what happened to you?!” “You’re covered in blood! Is it yours?” “Your head looks pretty bad. I’m sure it’ll need stitches.” “It’s going to hurt for a moment, but I’ll need to clean the wound.” “I’m so sorry this happened to you. But you’re safe now.” “That’s a pretty nasty bruise. Want some ice?” “Does it still hurt?” “I don’t think a band aid is gonna fix this…” “Whoa, hey, stay with me! You’re as white as a ghost. Don’t pass out.” “Damn, that must hurt. I’m sure there are some painkillers around here.” “You have to be seen by a doctor. This isn’t going to heal on its own.” “It looks broken. Can you move it at all?” “Here, lean on me. I’ll support you.” “I’m not going to leave you behind. If need be, I’ll carry you.” “I’m going to pick you up now, okay? Just hold on to me.” “Everything is going to be okay. Just hang in there.”
“I don’t feel so good.” “It’s seeping through the bandages.” “My head is throbbing. I think I have a concussion.” “I can barely breathe, it hurts so bad!” “It looks worse than it is. I’m sure it’ll be gone in a couple of days…” “You should see the other one.” “Don’t look at me like that. I don’t want your pity.” “It was my fault, really. I wasn’t paying attention and got hit in the face.” “Getting stabbed wasn’t really on my bucket list.” “I don’t think I can walk.” “Leave me behind, please. I’m just going to slow you down.” “Am I going to die?” “I can’t stop the bleeding.” “I think the bruise matches my eye color.” “Don’t touch it, please! It hurts.” “I don’t want to go to a hospital. I hate doctors!”
Send one to my muse for their reaction
“Sleep well. I’ll most likely kill you in the morning.”
“You’re trying to kidnap what I’ve rightfully stolen.”
“While you’re at it, why don’t you give me a nice paper cut and pour lemon juice on it?”
“They’re terribly comfortable. I think everyone will be wearing them in the future.”
“I can cope with torture.”
“Get used to disappointment.”
“You’ve made your decision then?”
“Frankly, I think the odds are slightly in your favor at hand fighting.”
“I would sooner destroy a stained glass window than an artist like yourself.”
“Am I going mad, or did the word “think” escape your lips?”
“Your vote of confidence is overwhelming.”
“I admit it, you are better than I am.”
“You never said anything about killing anyone.”
“You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
“You mock my pain!”
“Truly, you have a dizzying intellect.”
“Do you always begin conversations this way?”
“This is true love; you think this happens every day?”
“Australia is entirely peopled with criminals!”
“There’s not a lot of money in revenge.”
“You mean you wish to surrender to me? Very well, I accept.”
“Anyone who says differently is selling something.”
“Anybody want a peanut?”
“I do not envy you the headache you will have when you awake. But for now, rest well and dream of large women.”
“Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while.”
“The battle of wits has begun.”
“I wasn’t nervous. Maybe I was a little bit concerned, but that’s not the same thing.”
“We’ll never succeed. We may as well die here.”
“Please understand I hold you in the highest respect.”
“Isn’t there any way you trust me?”
“You’re trying to trick me into giving away something. It won’t work.”
“I’ll explain, and I’ll use small words so that you’ll be sure to understand, you warthog faced buffoon.”
“I told you I would always come for you. Why didn’t you wait for me?”
“I’m not saying I’d like to build a summer home here, but the trees are actually quite lovely.”
“You can die slowly, cut into a thousand pieces.”
“What hideous sin have you committed lately?”
“Yes, you’re very smart. Shut up.”
“There’s a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. It would be a pity to damage yours.”
“That doesn’t leave much time for dilly-dallying.”
“Where I come from, there are penalties when a woman lies.”
“It would be absolutely, totally, and in all other ways inconceivable.”
“I challenge you to a battle of wits.”
“Look, I don’t mean to be rude but this is not as easy as it looks, so I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t distract me.”
“Do you hear that? That is the sound of ultimate suffering.”
“You be careful. People in masks cannot be trusted.”
“Please consider me as an alternative to suicide.”
“You’re not… how I thought you’d be.”
“Is this what you’re really like, or was that an act?”
“I need to know this is for real. If you’re not genuine, tell me right now.”

My friend started explaining and fell asleep
But essentially I’m getting that unless you’ve committed Crimes™️ you don’t go in there yeah?
can’t wait to voice chat later with some friends while we game…
I hit episode 201 of part 1 and I have questions and I’ve been told specifically to not google things even if it’s in filler just in case of spoilers
plane ride was good if not a tad bumpy but at least I made some progress on part 1
No your honor i would never kill out of anger. I killed that guy for sport
How old was Chiari when Itachi killed off the Uchiha clan?
So I had to phone a friend for this one since I can't actively search timelines to figure this out and still effectively dodge spoilers.
I think about 20-21, since I've sat her at about 26 for part I which is what I am still currently watching.
Feel free to tell me if I have bad math here.
