With a brush of his bare hand over your hair or your cheek, or whenever he was in a moment of being afraid to unconsciously hurt you, he places them above your leg, covered by the blanket where he knows he could not unconsciously cause you harm. Longing, such an unnecessariness for an Adeptus, but it was the very same picture on his eyes, glittering beneath the glow of the moonlight where he knew only he could see these emotions he says he failed to have.

“Go sleep, my angel, I’ll be here,” he brings his hand on top of your skin—bare, ungloved, just as how he is with his feelings, “May your dreams be of peace and the dark shall leave you be.”

VENTI calls you by many endearments. He’s called you “windblume,” “my love,” “my darling,” “my sweet flower,” and a variety of others even if it was just in one sentence. You might even hear him often call you “Hey there, lover!”. However, his favorite is when he calls you “my muse”. There is something rather special about that call—as a bard himself, and also as someone who appreciates you from the inside and out. He thinks you save him just by existing—you are his inspiration, and he wants you to know that each and every time he calls you his muse.

“Have you got any other else to do today, my muse? Care to join me for a trip in Dadaupa Gorge?”

THOMA is rather convinced he’ll marry you in the future. His favorite endearment to call you is “honey.” However, he also thinks that when you two have gotten married, he’ll want to call you “wifey/hubby” just to joke around with you, or tease you whenever he wants to. But what you don’t know is that these are actually what he truly feels on the inside—he wants you not only for now, but if you’d give him the freedom to choose, he’d choose a life of eternity with you on it.

“Honey, can you pass me the salt, please? Yes, this is Dry-Braised Salted Fish. Do you want me to cook anything else?”

Very rarely does SCARAMOUCHE ever call you an endearment. The most he’d call you is “mine,” probably, when he’s feeling extra possessive due to stress or being pushed into the corner. He mutters it in between his kisses or when he nibbles on your skin, trailing his lips where he deems anyone could see just so he could not only prove it to you but to others as well. When he’s feeling confident and teasing, however, he calls you “darling” with a smirk on his face, knowing full well he has caught you off-guard and loving the way you fluster beneath him.

“Hm? You tired, darling? I thought you’d like to take me on top of Starsnatch Cliff?” he smirks, “What? Want me to carry you or something?”

KAZUHA calls you by the things you remind him of. “Dove,” “angel,” “flower,” “sunshine,” or even “butterfly.” It varies, most of the time, for the lips of a poet is something to be wary of—sweet, like a teeth-rotting candy or a chocolate bar you receive in a Trick of Treat. He makes it his mission to make your heart flutter even as seasons pass by, or when you both grow old. He hopes that it would be enough, at least, for you to stay, flying on the winds with him, high above the clouds, soaring like two love birds fated for each other.

“What must be on your mind, dove? Care to share it to me?”

KAEYA calls you “babe” most, if not all the time. It’s been like that probably even before you two had gotten together. It’s something that both he and you had gotten used to that it’s quite difficult to even imagine if he calls you with anything but “babe,” especially in moments that he surely knows he will. Perhaps, this is what he wishes for—consistency, to stay as it is and never falter away. He wanted it not to.

“You coming with, babe?” he muses, “What now? Are you neglecting your own boyfriend-Ow,” he chuckles, “Alright, alright, groceries first before Angel’s Share, as promised.”

“Love” is when GOROU and you were still a couple, but he dreams of calling you “honey” when he settles with you in the future. It’s sort of traditional for the people of Inazuma to call their spouses with “honey,” based on what he’d observed. He’s fairly affectionate, not afraid of showing them to you even if others are present. His tone, his voice, his eyes; how different they were whenever he calls you “love.” He is certain about this—this relationship that is deemed to be everlasting and boundless. “Love” is what he feels for you, forever, and probably always.

“Love, there is no need to worry,” he softly says as he reaches and presses a kiss on your forehead, “I will go back home safe. I promise.”

DILUC calls you “my love,” but every time you were in public—only during the first few months of being with you, he was still hesitant about it. However as time passed on, it slips out of his mouth easier than it was before, even if other people are present around both of you. In times that this occurs, vendors still couldn’t believe that this young bachelor had finally found the person whom he could finally see himself with to have the courage to step a foot forward and be proud of it. No one else could’ve imagined this moment would come, even him. Yet it did, with you.

“Are these all you need, my love? Why do you need all these ingredients?” “For dinner tonight, I see. Must you need more?”

CHILDE refers to you as “baby” or “babe” or “lovely.” It’s a match between the two of you—who gets to fluster the other more, who will falter first into a fit of embarrassment. There was never a true winner for the both of you, you were each other’s strength and weakness, yet he didn’t mind that. He could tease you all you like, but you could do the same to him.

“Hey there, lovely,” he greets you with an embrace from behind leaving a chaste kiss on your cheek as he brought his chin on your shoulder, “What is for dinner today? Do you want me to help?”

“Honey” is when AYATO and you are in the privacy of your home, whereas he could act however he wants without being judged nor talked about by others. “My dear” is when you two were out and about—a very rare instance but he insists for your sake, that he’s not a bad boyfriend to not take you on dates like any lover should. He makes it sound so easy, so smooth; as if his voice was made of finest silk, giving them to you and making your heart skip a beat or two.

“Must you really tempt me away from my work, honey?” he smiles as he pulls you on his lap and lets you encircle your own arms on his neck while his were on your waist, “Perhaps I may take a short break for my dear. What is it that you’d like to do, hm?”

ALBEDO has a knack of whispering “darling” next to your ear and seeing what your reaction would be. He has a small smile on his face and maybe even a release of a soft chuckle, his breath fanning themselves on your skin below your ear before adoringly pressing a chaste kiss on them. Physics is when an unconscious pull brings him to you and Chemistry is when he finds himself amused with whatever you do, even if they’re not what he expected them to be most of the time.

“Busy, darling?” he does it again, his hand carefully placing itself on your shoulder as he lands a kiss on your temple, “Always the hardworker. Can I really not persuade you to look at me for a little while?”

AETHER, at first, refuses to call you with an endearment, in fear of you getting attached to him and you both hurting in the process. He cannot handle falling for you and losing you again. Now, however, he tends to call you “beloved,” never failing to always look you in the eye and communicate his love and care for you. Home was where he and his sister were before, but now, he found another person who could truly understand him no matter who he is, was, or will be. You will stay with him, he knows you will.

“Feeling alright, beloved?” he caresses your cheek, eyes focused on yours, always holding the same care as it did to any other he feels them for, “Tell me what you need and I’ll give them to you. Anything.”

ALBEDO probably moved away first, his upper body pulling back slightly at the feeling of someone plopping on his lap. However, the second he sees you, he eases back into his normal position, saying, “Well hello there, darling. Do you need anything?” with a soft smile. You could only fluster him if you lean your head on his chest and bonus points if you wrap your arms on his waist whilst still on his lap. Expect him to chuckle a few seconds after and lean his chin on the top of your head. “Did you miss me already?”

CHILDE sputters “O-Oh?” then his facade will change in an instant, his arms circling your waist and placing his chin on your shoulder. “Is my baby starting to grow bored? Wanna go out, you say? Alright, I’ll treat you if you kiss me.” he doesn’t really mean that but if you decide to indulge him, his face will flush and he’ll probably duck his face on your neck to hide it from you or others.

DILUC would be flustered on the inside. He will probably stiffen up even if he saw that it was you but his muscles will ease up when you lean in and kiss his jaw. He’ll be careful to touch you but his gloved hands will soon find its way on your waist, holding you there gently. “I’m sorry, my love, do you want to go to bed now? Let me wrap this up and I’ll carry you soon.” a sad smile curls on his face as he presses a kiss on the crown of your head.

GOROU visibly pulls back only until he saw that it was you, only then will he relax and place a hand on you, most likely on your back or your waist. A bright smile would appear on his face at your sight, most especially if he hadn’t seen you for awhile and you surprised him by meeting up with him. “Hey there, honey.” he’d greet. Press a kiss on his forehead or scratch his ears gently and he may flush right there and then.

“What could this be?” KAEYA smirks, leaning back on his chair and placing his hands on each side of the armchair. “To what do I owe this pleasure, hm?” he’d muse. “Would you prefer it if I could take a break and take you somewhere? I can be free for you whenever you like.” he winks at you the audacity. he’s partly being genuine and partly teasing you, actually, although there may be some truth in those words.

KAZUHA acts like he isn’t affected and is trying to affect you instead, but more lowkey than Kaeya. He smiles genuinely and softly looks at you, racing a hand and starting to softly caress your hair. “Are you getting bored, dove? Would you like to hear a haiku I’ve been making?” And I promise you the haiku is really sweet because it’s most likely for you<3

SCARAMOUCHE glares at you at first, even releasing a low groan. “What now?” He tries to make it seem like he absolutely hates it but that embarrassed look on his face says it all. If you don’t speak and continue sitting there on his lap, he merely huffs and returns back to what he’s previously doing. “Just don’t bother me, hear that?” he’ll sigh “You’re so clingy… scoot closer or you’ll fall.” He’s so complicated but he likes it dw

THOMA also jumped slightly when you dropped down on his lap. “Babe?” he’d question, surprised and curious at the same time. With or without people around, his reactions would be the same nonetheless. “Need anything? Or… is this your way of saying that it’s time for cuddles? Ah you want cuddles?” he’d wrap his arms around you and pull you to his chest. “I’m quite comfortable here, thank you very much. If you want cuddles, you’ll get it here.” he’d chuckle.

VENTI is probably the hardest to fluster above everyone else. He’d look at you curiously and then perk up in joy, wrapping his arms around you to hug you tightly. “Aww, is my love missing me already?! Fret not, your bard boyfriend is here to save the day!” he’s kinda cringey but yes it happens most of the time. You can never prank a prankster… sometimes.

Be careful with XIAO. He trusts you, but he doesn’t trust himself that much. Thus, you must make your presence known first before you slowly walk towards him and then suddenly plop on his lap. “What… are you doing?” he’d slowly ask, confused and quite flushed. If you state the obvious, he’d huff and look away. However, if you move for a little bit, he might panic that you are falling and will instinctively raise his hands to hold you. Imagine his surprise that you weren’t T-T still, he might find his hands unable to move away now. Wonder why.

ZHONGLI is the calmest person here, you think? Nah. He’d awkwardly shuffle his legs when you sit on his lap, especially if he previously has his legs crossed. “Love?” he’d question, especially if you don’t usually plop on his lap randomly. “Is there something wrong?” he’d ask carefully, probably thinking you were not feeling well or you needed something from him. As a god, that’s most likely his way of thinking, completely forgetting that you’re a mortal and mortals do weird things sometimes—most of the time. If you admit it’s for nothing, he’d nonetheless relax and even offer for you to lean on his chest. Yes, very wholesome indeed.

NOTES. i’ve actually been debating whether i’ll make a taglist or not but i keep forgetting it! so now i decided i should not delay it any further hehe.

ZHONGLI does not know what came to you to suddenly blurt out that you wanted to break up with him.

Was it true or was it not?

Still, he replies, “If that is what you wish, then I shall grant it.”

It sounded so smooth, yes, but he tried so hard to make it sound like that—in reality, he was displeased. He must have done something for you to request it, and he wanted to know what it was. But maybe you did not want to talk about it at this very moment, seeing that you were not beginning to elaborate on anything.

So all he does is take your wrist and place a gentle kiss on the back of your hand, thinking it might be the last time he will be able to have this chance.

When you suddenly reach for his hand to stop him from letting go, his shoulders ease, especially when you look at him with a frown and pull him into an embrace.

Just name it and he’ll try to do it. However, the only issue would be… does Celestia know you’re here?

“What are you thinking about?”

He was pulled out of his trail of thoughts, gaze landing back to you,”It’s… it’s not something you must be weary of. For now, how about I share a story? Do tell me if you’ve heard of it. You do know a lot about this world, as you said.”

ALBEDO would immediately say, “Darling, my name is not Kaeya.” with a straight face. He looks at you curiously and wonders what could have made you call him as someone else. “Have you two gotten close lately?” he’d ask in a different tone that he usually uses. “Or is this another prank of yours?” He’ll send a glance over your way, as if a warning for you to tell the truth. He wouldn’t let this go unless you’ve given it to him, sighing as a result before pulling you for a kiss on your temple and smiling softly at you, “Well, as long as you say my name again, I’ll forget this ever happened.”

“What?” CHILDE would instantly react, “Who are you calling Zhongli?” he’d awkwardly laugh when you reply “I called you Childe”

“I’m pretty sure you called me Zhongli, babe.” he insists.

“I didn’t.”

“You did.” By the time you face him, he has a small frown on his face and it was fairly obvious that he was wondering why you were playing such a game. Even if you laugh at him and the prank was evident, he wouldn’t stop pestering you until you admit the truth.

“See! I knew you did, now, what about a kiss as an apology? Hey, where are you going? Babe?”

DILUC looks in your direction at first. He’d do it even if it’s anyone else but- “Kaeya? I’m not Kaeya, Y/n.” would incur a different reaction from him. You’d certainly feel the tension in the air as he eyes you, waiting for your response. You’ll never feel this kind of air around you and him until this time, as if he had suddenly raised all of his walls and separated from you. I don’t personally recommend doing this to him but once the deed is done, you should do your best to console him and tell the truth.

GOROU’s brows furrow as his ears visibly twitch. “Did I… hear you correctly?” he’d hesitate. “You called me Kazuha, I am not-” he pauses. “I did not know you two were close.” He seems to be the type who would get fairly obviously jealous, although he won’t be admitting to it, the hesitant and embarrassed look on his face would say it all. Out of everyone, he’s actually the best person to prank on because he doesn’t get mad, he also doesn’t have a lack of reaction, just the average. He’s cute when he’s flustered too, just remember to tell the truth or he will pout at you the whole time.

KAEYA hums and raises a brow, not even wasting any second before questioning you. “I know me and him are brothers, but that is not my name, sweetheart.” If you refuse to look at him, he’d pull you gently by your chin, catching your attention as he gazes deeply in your eyes. The eyes are the reflection of a person, they say, and he believes that. He’ll smile and press a chaste kiss on your lips, saying, “You’re tugging on my heartstrings, Y/n. Don’t tease me again like this, okay?”

KAZUHA doesn’t seem bothered by it, but he is, thus he continually tests if you’ll say another name instead of his again. If you do for the next few times, he’d know it is a prank by now, there’s no fooling this guy. Chuckling, he’d say, “Calling me with the name of another man and yet you do not meet my eyes. Is this another trick of yours, perhaps?” just from his words, it’s obvious where this conversation was going. “If you keep this on, there should be a punishment for it, right?” you knew he was merely teasing you back but he does sound serious about it…

SCARAMOUCHE’s reaction is as scary as Diluc’s, but he is far more direct and shows more reaction. The moment the name leaves your lips, the atmosphere would change and his heavy presence looms in front of you “What’s that? I heard what you said.” he says, his chin up and eyes looking down on you, glaring at you, even. “This better be one of your pranks again, or else I will never forgive you for mistaking me for that carrothead again.”

A small pout appears on THOMA’s face as his hands went to his waist, looking at you curiously. “Ayato is not here, babe,” he contemplates to himself, “Are you sure this is not for the meal that I treated Yurika to? Come now, it was for-how about this, let me treat you to a meal-no, two?” he sighs, “Alright, I’ll treat you the whole week, okay? Don’t be mad at me anymore, please?” it’s hard to say no to this guy, especially with those eyes, seriously, why are his eyes like a pleading puppy??

VENTI fully pouts and crosses his arm. “My name is not Diluc, windblume.”

“What did you say, Zhongli?”

“Don’t call me that either!” he cries, latching himself on your arm. Even if he already knew that you’re just pranking him, it’s still not sitting right with him.

“Come on, say my name again, okay? Please? Please?” he’s a very persistent god… you can keep the act up but he won’t stop insisting you to stop unless his name leave your lips again.

XIAO looks at you expectantly, hoping you’d correct yourself the second the name leaves your lips. However, seeing that you didn’t and you even said it twice by now, he’s annoyed. “I’m not Zhongli.” he straight-up says, his eyes piercing its way towards you, as if it was his spear. However, there was a small, cute pout on his face that you’d barely figure out whether he was being serious or not. “Don’t call me Zhongli. I… would not be able to come to you if you do.” he reasons out, but really, all he wants is to hear you say his name again, so please??T-T

“Say, darling, you’ve been calling me that rascal-“ ZHONGLI pauses and clears his throat, “you’ve been calling me Childe since earlier, is there something the matter?” He is not the type to assume something immediately, however, the look on his eyes would make you instantly admit that you’re pranking him. He just looks… dense and commandeering at the same time—his eyes. It is difficult to figure him out sometimes.

NOTES. this took awhile for me to finish because i’m watching anime hahah. anyway, i added the inazuma boys here i hope you guys don’t mind<333 also, is anyone interested in joining my taglist? i might release a form soon so do look forward for that!

NOTES. I was supposed to post another one but I really can’t stand not answering this request so good luck with two consecutive angst everyone~ I’ll post the other one next week! 

ZHONGLI would look rather calm, no matter how big the argument was. He normally would not let the argument go further, but today was rather stressful, even for someone like him. With all the arguments at work and also to those who would ask for his help even when he was just on his way home, and now, everything piled up and he… maybe he needed a bit of rest. 

“Let us discuss this tomorrow, beloved, I-”

However, all he heard was the sound of the doors closing, and there was no sight of you in the room.  

He sighs heavily, thinking that you probably had only gone out of the room to calm down. Of course, he only realized he was the only one in the house when he woke up and there’s still not a sight of you beside him. Startled, he stood up and found himself scavenging the entire house—could you have left him?—this thought was all in his mind but as soon as he turned to the living room, there you were, sleeping so peacefully on the couch. He heaves out a sigh immediately, kneeling in front of you, taking your hands to his and bringing them to his lips. He had never in this life felt so anxious—it had been awhile, he thinks, but maybe this was more…-

“Zhongli?” He heard you call for his name by then, but before you could fully comprehend what was happening, he was hushing at you, whispering so slowly to not awaken you any further. 

“There’s no need to wake, my love.” It’s going to be alright.
