Puffy And Pinky’s Dramatic Adventure

Hey I’m not dead I’ve just been creating and interacting with fandom in a less public way.

Here’s two fics from two fandoms. One big, one…pretty small I think??

Fandom: Dream SMP

Puffy has narrowly escaped capture by a band of bounty hunters. Leaving the wreckage of her ship behind, she sets out to meet up with the rest of her crew. Along the way, she runs into a piglin that seems to need a bit of help. Well, Puffy would never turn her back on a lil (actually pretty big) guy in need, right?

That said, seems this piglin was running from something himself.

“It is through destiny alone that its hosts find Rust’s armor.” But what happens after that?

Or, the story of Rust reforming in a new body, in a new place, and proceeding to walk, hitchhike, and train-hop halfway across the country to find its way back to its family. On the way, it’s finding itself again.

🇵🇸 “How can I help Palestine? I’m a minor.” GREAT QUESTION! 🍉

1. Wear Palestine colours! Red, white and green. Don’t have those colours? That’s okay! Paint your nails that colour, dye your hair, wear pins, makeup, anything! (Just make sure you don’t purchase anything.)

2. DONT PURCHASE ANYTHING! Eat food at home, if your parents offer you food from places like McDonald’s or Starbucks say you’d rather eat at home.

3. So you can’t skip school? That’s okay. Make all your school projects about Palestine or with Palestine colours. Got an art project? Great! Draw Palestine colours.

4. If you have a good/great relationship with your family/siblings tell them about Palestine. Don’t? That’s okay, tell your friends if you can.

5. Place stickers and write free Palestine on things.

6. If you’re religious pray for Palestine.

7. Learn Arabic or engage with Arabic culture! This is a great way to show support.

8. Donate if you have money/can. I know some kids maybe could, some find dealing with money stressful or are poor. It’s okay if you can’t.

9. Join riots if you can! I recommend you go with a friend or an adult.

10. Post on social media about Palestine if you can.

ID LIKE TO NOTE SOME PARENTS ARE PRO-ISRAEL, ABUSIVE ETC.

However there’s still ways to riot even as a kid.

Don’t give in. Our protests matter as much as adult’s do.

Going to the mall as I am now (kinda punky/extremely autistic) is kinda funny like. That's a nice shirt. However, it's not one of my thousand beloved black graphic t shirts and it is such a texture and kind of a weird shape to it and honestly I don't really wanna buy any sort of fast fashion type shit or brand shit. Don't care. Oh they have patches. Kinda cute but straight up I can just make those. In fact, I would prefer to. Don't care. Also I'm not buying that.

every person ive ever suggested to that going through your partners phone not only invades their privacy but also the privacy of all the people who have possibly texted very personal things to them have acted like they genuinely never thought of that before

please read this if you don’t support the fucking genocide

there are palestinian kids who should be in school, getting ready for a new semester. they should be procrastinating their homework, texting their friends. they should get to go home when they feel unsafe or upset.

instead, the school year was suspended on november 6th. over 200 schools have been bombed. more than 7,870 children have been killed. kids do not have a safe place. anywhere. their homes are being destroyed and their schools are being destroyed and the places they used to hang out at and eat at and shop at and pray at and mourn at and live at are actively being destroyed

people of palestine, of all ages, should be living their lives. they should be having normal experiences. they should be going to the movies or redecorating their rooms or celebrating birthdays or scrolling their phones for no reason. but they’re not. they’re not allowed to have the comfort of mindless human joy without constant threat and fear and bloodshed, and it is the fault of israel, the united states, and other fucked corrupt governments.

there have been close to 20,000 palestinian deaths, almost 2.2 million people displaced, and an estimated half of those people face starvation.

we need to fucking do something. the fact that the US still refuses to support a ceasefire is disgusting and evil. the claim that all anti-israeli statements are based in antisemitism is hurting both the people of palestine and jewish people worldwide.

here’s some things you can do:

-donate if you can or ask someone you know to donate

-sign a petition to demand a ceasefire

-fill out a form to email your representative. then do it again. then do it again. then do it again.

-boycott and avoid all companies on this list that you can (especially now that the holidays are rolling around: buy from independent stores, non-big name brands)

-spam text your friends and family with this post and these links

-reblog to spread awareness, interact with other posts that give instructions for direct action, follow palestinian voices

-instead of feeling guilt or denying yourself personal happiness, do all you can to make a difference. it doesn’t matter if you don’t have money to donate or if you’re a minor. you can always contact representatives or sign petitions

DO NOT LET THE GENOCIDE CONTINUE.

If you live in the US, you can use this website, uscpr, to contact your members of congress

you can call everyday. they tally the number of calls per issue. so more calls = higher chance for them to take action. p.s. you mainly go to voicemail so don’t worry about phone call anxiety. (this note taken from @sulfurcosmos's useful masterlist here)

A 101 course from USCPR.org to understanding Israel’s oppression of the Palestinian people

A Palestine masterlist here to learn more about Palestine - informative sources, materials, stores, charities, books, documentaries etc.

A twitter thread explaining about the history of Palestine and the ethnic cleansing that's been happening in Palestine since 1948

A second helpful masterlist of how to help Palestine

A third helpful masterlist that is regularly updated by op, including info on how you can take action depending on where you live, please reblog the original post to get the most recent info

Multiple sources I have seen said the most important thing is to keep sharing what is happening in Palestine on social media. Do not go silent. Share any of these resources and share news. Do not let people forget this genocide is happening.

PUNK PSA:

Please don’t put anything too political on your back patches— especially about your own marginalized experiences.

This has been a long standing rule in punk communities, passed down for generations. People do get jumped and experience violence as a result of this. You can’t see who is behind you, you can’t tell if they’re far right, and you can’t prepare yourself for sudden violence from behind.

So many people are new to the scene, introduced via social media, and don’t know the weight of walking with something on your back (literally and metaphorically) that immediately outs you as marginalized. If you’re able to defend yourself, or out with friends who can watch your back, by all means go for it and wear whatever you want on your back patches but if you walk alone at all ever, please be safe.

Also this is why punks wear spikes and studs on our shoulders especially. Makes it harder for someone to grab you and works as self defense (but also never wear spikes at a small show or if you plan to mosh— people can get hurt!).

Info dump, share if you want or rephrase, etc: Up until today, I’ve been hearing suggestions that people who have changed/are changing their names and gender markers apply for as many official documents as they can esp if they’re in a friendly state. As of the 22nd, it appears that has changed with respect to passport applications, where the Colorado Name Change project is now reporting nationwide officials have been instructed to deny passports and confiscate supporting documents (I.e corrected birth certificates, SSID, etc). Which is to say DO NOT SEND IN YOUR PASSPORT OR OTHER CORRECTED DOCUMENTS FOR A PASSPORT UPDATE REQUEST in the US. However, currently issued documents are not currently expected to be retroactively withdrawn so if you have a corrected passport HANG ONTO IT.

solid information, I'll rally the punks.

Hello My dearest friends,🌟

My name is Mahmoud Jihad, from Gaza. My home, my university, everything has been destroyed. I now live in a flimsy tent with my family after losing everything. I was studying Information Technology while caring for my family, and now we have nothing. 😔

We are living amidst indescribable destruction and desperately need your help to survive. 😭 Even a small donation can make a huge difference. Every contribution is a spark of hope in the darkness of this war. ✨

My campaign is verified by: @beesandwatermelons ✅ #190 and @gazavetters ✅ #63.

My GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/463cbf01

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Let's rebuild our lives together. 🙏❤️
