As the ides of march approach, let us all be reminded of this fucking iconic film quote
i shall recite this quote every freaking day of the week
I'm suddently understanding Gail Simone on a different level right now
I liked Alex and i knew she was going to die i can't imagine how i'd have reacted if i hadn't know
I'm mad af she only got 5 issues
However on a very different note : this is kinda funny i will send it to people :
One-year-ago-me thinking i shouldn't start Star trek tng because i knew if i started it i would start becoming a star trek fan and i knew how most of my other obsessions ended up becoming too much and i ended up thinking constantly about it, plus i was hyper aware that such an old fandom means lots of content and rabbit holes.
Half-a-year-ago-me glad that tng didn't become an overbearing obsession, how It's not a perfect show but it's okay, i know a few parts have aged poorly but some episodes still make me a bit sad in a good way
Yesterday-me I ONLY HAVE 21 EPISODES LEFT OF TNG WHAT WILL I BECOME ?! WHAT WILL MY LIFE BE WITHOUT IT ?? I KNOW THERE ARE 10 000 OTHER STAR TREK SHOWS BUT I DON'T CARE !! I LIKE THE TNG CREW AND THE INTERACTIONS THEY DEVELOPPED.
Anyway i neglected my studies this year
I hate that i watched that episodes months ago but i still remember every sentences
I'm not learning klingon but i want to learn that
With his arms open

At age 8 i learned some simplified hieroglyph alphabet i found in a book

1/ discover dc comics through an animated or live action series or movie
2/think you could start comics with one of the main jl hero (but probably batman)
(at this stage you might have watched a video about where to start)
3/ find out your favourite character from that team/family
4/ discover more about them until you read a comics where they team up with one or more character(s) from another big fam
5/ get more and more niche from one team up to another until when someone asks your favourite character you realise you can't answear the question without assessing how much the person who asks knows about comics first
6/ enjoy feeling overwhelmed with the amount of arcs you want to read
If you don't know dc comics i'll say batgirl, if you know a bit of comics i might say nightwing and even dona troy or jessica cruz if you know more
Then i'll ask if you know booster or midnighter
Because of reasons i watched these two episodes within 2 weeks of each other and now i think i might not be okay emotionally
Star trek season 5 ep 23 and Doctor Who season 1 ep 6
#why must you make me cry over living beings who are fused with machines and are meant not to have individuality but because of an accident and some woman's compassion they start to feel and they experience loneliness and now they can never fulfill their sole life mission
#yes i know cybermen are the better analogy
#but there were no cybermen in season one of dw and i've rewatched only that one recently
#Hugh looked back 🥲
#He looked at Geordi one last time
#i'm going to cry
#what is it with Geordi and androids
Me : « I don't like dark and gory comics and violent characters. If they kill it'd better be very well justified by the story/character growth»
My favourite character :
22 | she/her | currently studying rocks, casually enjoying dc comics, conscientiously making a name for myself in Markarth and its surroundings at warp 9 | geology account @disthene-al2sio5
