CW: gender neutral reader, storm anxiety
The sirens begin blaring & I feel my body seize Up. The rain is pouring down outside when Denki comes back home. He sees me curled up coming towards me. "Sunshine, are you Okay? Is the storm scaring you? " he hums sitting beside me.
"Yeah, the sirens are so loud & scary," I mumble out.
Denki pulls me on his lap, still wet from walking inside. "How about we make a fort in the basement & wait out the storm. We can grab some candles & books to read too,"
I nod shakily as we gather up the pillows & blankets going down the stairs. The two of us set up the fort & Denki sets me inside going back to grab some candles and books.
Once Denki is back I lay on his lap whils he runs his hand through my hair. He lights the candles and I begin reading out loud to him. He isn't shy about silly commentary in order to make me laugh.
A few hours pass and a few chapters left I feel my eyes get heavy & Denki Pets means I fall asleep.
AU: Before the heroes find out about Eri and her situation Shigaraki decides to intervene by kidnapping Eri to raise her in the league.
The leader of the League of Villains walks through the make of the Shie Hissaki base. They enter a conference room and him and Overhaul begin discussing collaboration possibilities.
"And you're making Quirk removal bullets?" he questions.
"Yes," Overhaul responds.
Shigaraki silently nods when the twos' attention is draw towards the small panting at the door.
A small girl is in the door holding her sides as she catches her breathe.
Overhaul raises from his chair glaring at the child for interrupting. "ERI!" he shouts.
She flinches looking up at him. Her red eyes remind the Leagues leader of himself when he was younger. They were wide and filled with fear. As though she believed she was the worst person in the world.
Shigaraki looks at the child examining her. Long silver hair, a large horn sprouting from her forehead, presumably her quirk. She was dressed in a long raggedy white dress and covered in bandages. He wonders what the bandages are covering.
"Why didn't you keep her in her room. You useless man!" Overhaul yells now turning his anger to the assistant in charge of watching the girl who quickly ran in after her. Overhaul removes his glove causing the small girl to flinch running away from the door as he kills the assistant with his quirk.
Shigaraki watches Overhaul silently before realizing the small red eyes watching him. He looks over to the girl watching him inching forward every now and then.
"Eri, what are you doing in here!" Overhaul snaps. She jumps turning to him silently. Eri refuses to answer him.
A couple weeks pass and Shigaraki can't get the fearful red eyes out of his mind.
"Kurogiri, we need to go to Shie Hissaki," He calls out.
"Why do we need to go back there?" Toga calls out pouting.
"Because we need to take that girl. She's in trouble," He explains getting up.
"There's a girl there?" Toga questions.
Shigaraki nods silently, "Dabi and Toga, you're coming with me, Kurogiri just bring us there and back"
"Why are we coming with?" Dabi asks glaring at his leader.
"Because we may need your quirks. Now let's do this quickly," Shigaraki says.
Groaning annoyed Dabi and Toga follow Shigaraki as Kurogiri transports them to Overhaul's headquarters.
"Stay in the shadows as much you can," Shigaraki says as they begin walking.
It didn't take long before they heard quiet sobs behind a door. Shigaraki slowly opens it to see the child crying in her bed shaking.
Hearing the door open Eri looks up gasping scared.
Toga gasps softly smiling, "she's so cute!" she squeals.
"Shhh!" Dabi scolds as Shigaraki slowly walks forward to the girl.
"Calm down, we won't hurt you. We want to get you out of here. Okay?" he says, voice soft to try and ease the girl's mind.
Eri pauses before looking past Shigaraki to his two companions before hearing a shot.
"The league of villains are in Eri's room!" Shouts someone.
"Shit," Shigaraki mumbles before scooping up the small kid and calling Kurogiri in to get them.
As Kurogiri appears Shigaraki and Toga goes through. Dabi lights up the doorway to Eri's room before following the two through.
Eri shakes gasping softly as she's gently set down on the LOV's floor. "W-where am I?" she questions.
"We're going to take care of you now so that you don't get hurt," Shigaraki responds grabbing a bag of essentials in case the Shie Hissaki goes to their base.
A week later Eri is calming down again and more comfortable around all of the League. Especially Shigaraki.
Shigaraki does his best to make Eri both happy and healing. After moving to a new hideout Shigaraki gently takes of Eri's bandages. The villains surrounding watching Eri get her bandages taken off gasp softly.
"What did he do to you?" Shigaraki says darkly. Seeing so many scars on this little girl fills him with rage.
"You poor girl," Dabi mutters looking down at her.
Eri tears up staring at the scars and her arms and legs.
"Don't cry, it's not your fault," Shigaraki says softly.
Through the days' everyone from the League of Villians finds ways to bond with Eri, doing their best to give her a better childhood than them.
Spinner plays card games and checkers mostly with Eri.
Dabi does whatever Eri wants. He wants to make sure she is as happy as possible. Usually, they end up playing dress-up and having Tea parties.
Toga always joins them in but she also gives Eri makeovers and draws with her.
Kurogiri is less of a kid person. Eri usually ends up helping him cook.
Twice does his best to play with Eri but he struggles to be around the child as he's scared of either hurting or scaring her.
Mr. Compress and Eri make many plays and musicals to show off to the rest of the league.
Finally, Shigaraki does everything with Eri. He plays dress-up, does her hair, cook and bak with her, even includes her in his plans and let's her help.
Latest chapter hits hard. Anyways here's Adora comforting Marlo's body afterwards
I updated Mizores ice arm. I took other photos too but it looks better with less imo so I'll post them later
I feel like this is a pretty popular belief but Izuku would be a hella good hero without a quirk. Like him being an analysis hero using gear would be amazing. It would be even better if the beginning of the anime was the same, he met All Might and told Midoryia he can't be a hero, Midoryia saves Bakugou and Allmight offers his quirk. Midoryia rejects it and he gets into UA on his own.
I might write a fic about this, or completely cosplay it because omg it's amazing. He begins to resent the quirkest society and gets super popular amongst the quirkless community, especially kids wanting to become heroes too.
His hero costume would start out the same because he doesn't have time to change it but eventually, it changes, having support gear that simulates quirks such as capture wires, shoes that makes high jumps and flying easy etc. and he loses the All Might image but keeps the green.
Happy birthday to me. Here's my OC Adora's Debut
AU: The heroes don't run into Eri and save her giving Overhaul the time to perfect both the quirk erasing bullet and quirk replacing bullet. He becomes famous amongst both heroes and villians running the two bullet companies but no one knows about Eri's part other than being Overhaul's quiet daughter.
One of Overhaul's many assistants was applying light makeup to the child in front of them. They did their best to hide the puffiness and dark circles under the girl's eyes but from the sleepless nights of crying it was hard.
Eri, the 13-year-old daughter of the creator of both quirk erasing and quirk replacing bullets, Overhaul.
Overhaul and Eri are preparing for an interview on one of the biggest TV shows in the country. Overhaul walks in fixing his white gloves.
"Eri, it's time to go. Don't forget, you don't say a word at the interview," he says for the 100th time.
"Yes, sir" she mumbles standing. Eri straightens out her dress taking her caregiver's hand. Overhaul and Eri walk out to the talk show floor.
"And here the man of the hour is, Overhaul! With his beautiful young daughter. Welcome you two," The hostess says standing to shake the twos' hand.
"Thank you so much for having us. It's truly an honour," Overhaul hums.
The three of them sit and the interview begins.
"So, do you have any details about how you make quirk replacing drugs?" the hostess begins. Overhaul chuckles smiling at her.
"Of course I can't share any of the processes, it's a secret, if I did then replicas may pop up left and right. I hope you understand. It's for my productions security," He responds.
"Oh of course I understand!" The hostess hums. "Well, how is it running this company with suck a quickly growing young girl to take care of?"
"It's a challenge on occasions but Eri is much better at listening than when she was younger,"
The Interview continues, with minimal questions directed towards the young girl when it finally ends.
"Thank you two so much again for joining us today it was a joy," the hostess ends.
Overhaul and Eri walk out towards the back to leave. The poor girl is struggling to hold back tears thinking of all the lies her caregiver so freely spills. As they exit the building paparazzi surround them and Overhaul makes sure his grip on Eri's arm is firm. A small reminder to smile as though everything is okay.
Shakily Eri smiles at the crowd and is pulled off to the car. Overhaul and Eri return to their house, the base, headquarters, whatever words you want to call it. Any except home. That place is no home, and never will be as long as she's dissected for evil.
"I need to clean up and finish some paperwork before we work on the next batch of removal bullets," Overhaul says.
Eri barely hears him running to her room as soon as she entered the door.
Overhaul rolls his eyes at the childish behaviour before leaving to clean up.
In the young girl's room, Eri pulls at her hair as the tears begin falling.
"AHHHHHH!" she screams at the top of her lungs.
By now it's a normal occurrence at the Shie Hissaki headquarters so the other workers pay no mind to the screams, sobs, and objects clashing as they're thrown around.
Finally calming down again Eri quietly sobs thinking, 'if only they knew, if only they knew how bad they hurt her, how badly she needs help to leave'
This is purely to help me stop hating myself for reading smut. so the synopsis is the reader is getting angry with themselves and basically slut-shaming themselves for reading smut when Kiri comes in and helps them feel better and normal again
CW: No actual smut ironically, self slut-shaming ig, gender-neutral reader
Y/n continues scrolling through their phone through the smut stories they have saved. Kirishima, Y/n's boyfriend, opens the door to their home. Hearing the door open Y/n looks back down to the current story they're reading.
"Why do I read this?" They mutter to themselves, "It feels bad but also good...." they pause for a moment thinking. "it's bad though....isn't it?"
Y/n shuts off their phone tossing it to the end of the bed as Kirishima walks in.
"Hey Pebble, I'm home. How are you?" he asks sitting beside his partner.
Y/n stays silent bringing their knees to their chest.
"Is something wrong Pebble?"
.....Y/n pauses a moment before saying "I feel ucky,"
"You feel...ucky? Why Baby?" he responds hugging y/n.
Y/n hides their face in their arms more biting their lip. They just want to cry, scream, hurt. Y/n points to their phone at the edge of the bed instead of answering verbally.
Kirishima picks up the phone opening it. His eyes glance through the open tab before quickly understanding. "You were reading," he says.
"I was reading ucky stuff."
"Well, did you want to read it Baby" he questions setting the phone back down before placing a hand on Y/n's shoulder.
"Y-yes, I did. But it's still ucky to read, isn't it?" Y/n responds looking up to meet Kirishima's eyes for the first time since he got home.
"It's not ucky y/n. We all have feelings and sometimes we read things to cope with those feelings. It's human Baby. I promise that reading smut or when we play around it doesn't make you ucky. As long as you want to and it doesn't harm you it's okay Pebble. I promise," Kirishima explain giving off a gentle smile with his sharp teeth.
Y/n stays silent for a moment watching their boyfriend. They then smile hugging him. "Thank you Ei, I feel a lot better now"
"Good, now how about we watch a movie? I got this new (favourite genre) movie!"
A/n: Yes I actually get these thoughts, could be from a multitude of things and yes I really do call myself ucky idk why but that's the word I use. I hope some of you were able to find comfort in this if you get the thoughts too.
TW: alcoholism, fighting, general vent post. Based on a prompt where the first and last lines are supposed to be the same but mean different things.
Yes, this is about me. shut up
Like father like daughter. That's what they always say when we're together. I love being around my dad for the month, running up to see him after the whole school year with my mom. We have a long long drive to head to his house but we listen to music and catch up and I usually fall asleep. they say I have his eyes and nose, and we have a ton of interests! I love my dad, I look up to him so much. He's strong, and smart, and does lots of cool mechanically stuff with cars. My dad and I play nerf guns together, and he learned how to braid for me. We play wrestle and read together or watch Gas Monkey or Magician shows! I really think I'd be amazing if I grow up to be like my dad.
My mom and dad are getting back together! Isn't that awesome! I can finally have a family again, and they have three rooms so I don't have to share with my brother. I'm so happy that we get to live all together. My dad helps with school when he can, and makes tons of yummy food, usually, sometimes he makes too much or something I don't like but I need to finish it or else I don't eat anything else. That's okay though, I'll suck it up eventually, I guess.
There have been more fights than usual recently. I really don't like yelling but I've been reading a lot more to help escape it. My dad has some weird and difficult punishments for when my brother and I don't get along. He doesn't get along with my mom, should he be punished too?
I'm going to my first wedding! isn't that awesome! I get to be all dressed up for my aunt's wedding. It's really fun, they had a really cool sand pouring thing to blend my cousins with their new stepdad! They also had a GIANT bonfire; I love bonfires, they're so pretty. My dad also likes bonfires. It's another thing e have in common, though I don't like alcohol like he does. I'm okay with that. Dad acts really weird when he drinks alcohol.
Dad acts really weird when he drinks alcohol.
....
Yeah, really weird.
We moved away from him. We had to move away fast so we are living with my cousins for a while. They have small dogs, different from the big dogs my dad has. I don't know how I feel about big dogs.
We still have a puppy from my dad's dogs. She's a bit stunted but I love her so much. She has to live with other people because we don't have room for her. We do have a kitty cat we met while living with my dad.
Why does nothing go right for me! I scream into my pillow before throwing it across the room. My brother just made another mistake! why does he have to make life so difficult!
I start crying heavily.
I see something in the back of my closet. Forgetting what I put back there I grab it.
...
My aunt gave me this picture.
A picture of my dad, in his uniform.
To protect us, yeah right.
I wish I could burn and break this photo till nothing ever remains.
Does that make me bad like him? This anger I feel. This yelling I do. Am I just like him?
I don't want to be like him. I can't be like him! But you know what they always say. Like father like daughter.
