Don't you just love autocorrect!
Listen. I am going out my mind. What do you think Bones' necklace is all about??? Cause it's not the one Karl wears- it's different and it's bugging me. I need to know.
maybe a nod to the disco necklace?
Arianna’s gown was designed by Vera Wang, not Dolce & Gabbana. And it’s magnificent!
My favorite looks from the Met Gala 2018 - Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.
Rihanna in Maison Margiela
Ariana Grande in Dolce & Gabbana
Lana del Rey in Gucci
Zendaya in Versace
I can't believe that Chris Pine was again overlooked for a SAG nomination, or that the cast wasn't nominated for best cast. Just wrong!

I started watching Star Trek in September, 1966. So you might say that I’m an old fan who has found all the new Trek a joy. It’s very important that Star Trek grows but still be true to itself, as it is. There will always be those nay-sayers. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. That being said, I found that first episode of SNW very moving, chilling, and also a warning to us.
#TOS #SNW #Star Trek must evolve
First episode of Strange New Worlds almost made me cry. I can see now why so maybe boomer fans and dudebros scared of progressive views hate this series. People who hate progress and call any kind of honesty "woke pandering."
The idea of World War 3 is terrifying. But with the way the world is now it's a high possibility. Pike's words are true. Horrifying and real. But he's right. We need to overcome these things to ever be able to become more than we are. The things humanity could do if we pushed past our own hate and war? I genuinely believe we could reach amazing beautiful things far beyond our imaginations.
This show is extremely political. In order to reach Star Trek we need to be. We have to self reflect and work against our own broken views. Imagining a world where we could be beyond that is beautiful. But it comes at a cost. Being faced with our own downfalls is hard. It's scary. We'll destroy ourselves if we don't. Some people refuse to see that and aren't ready to.
This is why this show resonates so much with younger fans. It almost brought me to tears. It's everything Star Trek should be. His words are all that it embodies. Now we're in an age when those kind of words can finally be spoken and make all of us look up and think,
"We can do it."
Of course, it had to happen
I see what you did there. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This is just fabulous. Much better than the first ad campaign.
Please help save the turtles. I’m not a popular account so PLEASE RE POST THIS if you care about animals. Please. I know some people don’t care, but if you care like and re post. PLEASE.

Star Trek: Picard - Seventeen Seconds
The fact that they gradually are gravitating towards each other! They will always be drawn back together!
And so can Chris Pine!!!
unpopular opinion but
can we just have a complete Star Trek AOS reboot that stays true to the original characters with new actors?
Except for Karl Urban. He can stay.
Rest In Peace, Nichelle. You were a pioneer not only on TV, but for promoting women and women of color at NASA! You will be greatly missed.
Nichelle Nichols has passed away.
Martin Luther King once convinced her to continue on as Uhura when she was about to quit. He told her how she was a role model for so many people and had to stay on. He rightfully recognized her as a trailblazer and the inspiration she continued to be.
(Second picture is Nichols participating in a recruitment program for NASA in late 70s/early 80′s, aimed at women and people of color. The third picture is Nichols onboard the stratospheric observatory for infrafred astronomy in 2017, as one of the first non essential personell to be able to do so)
Actually, in an interview, he said that JJ Abrams thought he was too thin and asked him to pack on the 20 lbs! He didn’t look chubby at all even with the extra weight! Just beautiful!
remember when chris pine, in image obsessed hollywood, chose to put on twenty pounds of mostly chub without being told to just because he knew it was true to jim kirk’s image and self as a captain, not a young bad boy rookie anymore, and true to his canonical relationship with food? your fav could never
