Because it was literally in a zombie movie, Don't Stop Me Now
Reblog with the Queen song that you go so hard to that it could probably revive you from the dead
I hate having to keep doing this, but I just need a little bit. I just recently got a new job a ways away from my house, but my car broke down and needs a new battery. I don't get paid for another couple weeks and I only have enough to cover rent for August. Please, anything will help.
I normally wouldn’t do this, but I am in need. My parents have kicked me out because of my gender identity and their strict religious upbringing, I have lost my job, and I am in need until I can find another job. My girlfriend is helping me how she can but right now, I have no home, no job and no money. Please help a transgirl out how you can.
Edit: just adding some info. My dad has been emotionally abusive and manipulative, making me pay for stuff out of the blue, draining my money when I was trying to save. I’m trying to focus on finishing school in a few weeks (I am 18 and in college), but it was impossible to do so with my job, which constantly made me stressed and sick, as I worked the late hours of night, right after I got out of school and not getting home until 1 in the morning.
Anywhere I could go would be I would have to start over, but right now, I have no money to do that, so that’s why I’m asking for help.

Just an FYI for those in the US with insurance issues
Carmen Liu, trans woman and entrepreneur, has launched a lingerie collection for trans women.
She says:
“I had this business idea circulating in my mind for two years, thinking of how I would design the lingerie if I had the opportunity,” she says. “I wouldn’t say there was lightbulb moment as such. The idea hit me due to pure frustration of not being able to buy lingerie. Once I got the green light I began working 16 hours most days to cover every detail and possible option that would benefit and bring positive change to our community.”
This is a line that also fits transgender women who have not had gender confirmation surgery.

hey everyone! it’s been a while since i made a masterpost, and i recently found some good health-related apps on the play store that i thought to consolidate into a post.
all these apps are available for both ios and android users! i’ve also grouped similar apps together.
fyi: these apps are not intended to replace your therapist/counselor – they only act as an aid. the apps listed here are those that seemed credible enough and had good ratings on the play store. some may help you and some might not. since i don’t have depression or panic attacks, i can’t speak for the efficacy of some of the apps here.
For stress, depression, anxiety, or panic attacks:
Rootd: exercises to help with anxiety and panic attacks, as well as lessons understand anxiety. it also includes emergency contact if you need help and a personal stats page.
Self-help Anxiety Management (SAM): exercises to help you manage your anxiety. you can also build your ‘anxiety tookit’ and chat with other SAM users.
PanicShield: for those who have panic attacks. it has a breathing tool to calm you down, information about panic attacks, and two techniques to train your mind to have fewer panic attacks (based on two types of therapy).
MoodSpace: short, interactive mood workouts that may help treat depression.
InnerHour: a self-help app for stress, anxiety or depression. it has small daily tasks, helps you deal with distressing situations, helps control your stressful thinking patterns, and has a relief box.
Moodpath: an interactive two-week depression and anxiety screening program that tracks your emotional and physical wellbeing and generates a personalized mental health assessment that you can discuss with therapists.
Calm Harm: tasks to help you resist or manage the urge to self-harm.
To generally improve your life:
Youper: conversations with a bot to improve your mood and emotional health. it also has mindfulness and meditation exercises, a mood tracker, journal and symptoms tracker.
Wysa: similar to Youper, Wysa is a chatbot who reacts to the emotions you express to help with anxiety, stress, low mood, anger or sleep issues.
Primed Mind: a life coach to help you reach your personal goals and improve yourself. it can help you build habits, calm down, fall asleep quickly, and study effectively.
Headspace: meditation and mindfulness exercises
Just Rain: a soothing audiovisual rain simulator where you can control the degree of rain sounds.
What I say: Country music blows
What I mean: Modern country music, especially songs sung by modern male country artists, revolves around similar themes of toxic masculinity and nationalism. The recurrent lyrics referencing guns, trucks, beer and girls in short shorts are uncreative and not entertaining in the least. However, older country artists and folk rock bands such as Creedence Clearwater Revival and Johnny Cash have stronger, more diverse themes and often carry an overt anti-war message. I hate the fact that what was once an interesting and powerful genre of music has now been claimed by gun-toting conservative bearded dudes, and it hurts my heart to say I hate country music when there are so many country artists that I very much enjoy, but cannot state the fact that I enjoy country music without being associated with the aforementioned group.
