i make fun of jackal. a lot. because she makes choices that deserve to make fun of, as well as being a truly awful person currently so there’s no regret in making fun of her. but she is, actually, a fucking genius. her strengths just do not lie on the battlefield. it’s in science and experimentation.

i need more people to play honkai so they can make fun of jackal with me. yes honkai also has a gorgeous story that far succeeds genshin’s (listen i say this with love im also a genshin but i CAN say this because genshin is still a baby game while honkai is a few years old) and lit af characters but make fun of jackal with me.

thinking about how jackal, so far in my playthrough, was described as:

Hands

Hands can do so much, they’re extremely versatile much like yourself. They can nourish, they can pray, they can comfort. But we both know that’s not what you use yours for is it? You know as well as I do how hands can maim, can strangle, can destroy. They are unthinking and unfeeling, and unlike the others they do not act off instinct but off of command. Every act you commit is purposeful, filled with an intent, sometimes to be cruel and sometimes to be kind. You know who is deserving of your hurt, who is deserving of your love. Always make sure you can tell them apart before you wrap those hands around them.
