I just had a revelatory idea for Low Lays the Devil in Me and I am super inspired to write but my poor hands need a break after the looooong one shot I wrote in 24 hours. God damn it. 😂
“The last major overhaul was not long after The Sinking. They needed to expand the prison since they threw so many Zaunites in it.” Caitlyn felt rage flare up in her and her lip curl in disgust at the idea of the desperate Zaunites clawing up from the mass grave of the fissures only to be thrown in prison for just trying to survive. “I’ve dreamed of dismantling Stillwater brick by brick as my first act as councilor,” she practically growled, her knuckles turning white as she gripped the edge of the table. Cassandra chuckled darkly. “When I lie awake at night thinking about what those Wardens are doing to Violet, I entertain the same fantasy.” Caitlyn met her mother’s gaze over the blueprints and suddenly felt a strong sense of kinship with her over how much they both cared for Vi.

The countdown to rescue Vi has started and Caitlyn prays she can successfully extract her from Stillwater.
Okay, the next chapter is done but I still need to edit and I’ve run out of time to do that. I can probably get that done tonight or early tomorrow. We’ll see how work goes. I gotta say, I’m pretty proud of how it turned out 😁
Chapter Summary: Vander has to leave for a few days and Vi needs to bring Powder with her to Jayce's. Caitlyn opens up a little to Vi.
In order to avoid time in Stillwater Prison, Vi must complete community service after getting caught stealing from Jayce Talis, the protégé of the wealthy and intelligent Councilor Cassandra Kiramman. Instead of spending her nights working at The Last Drop and her days looking after her siblings in Zaun, she now has to be the errand girl to one of the most powerful people in Piltover. However, Vi soon realizes that something isn’t right. What secret project is Jayce working on? Why does the councilor keep sending Vi on strange assignments? And why won’t Caitlyn Kiramman leave Vi alone about what life is like in Zaun? Something is festering in the underbelly of both cities and Vi is beginning to suspect that the Kirammans know more than anyone realizes. OR A story of what could have happened if Hextech was never invented (with some liberties taken with both LoL and Arcane canon).
I'm writing the next chapter of "Tethered" and I honestly don't think I'm capable of writing a multichapter fic that is short lol
This was supposed to be a few chapters of the funny and cute hijinx Caitlyn and Vi get up to if they were magically forced to be near one another as teenagers and it's now over 20,000 words long and I'm maybe only halfway done 😂😂 why do I do this to myself lol
i meant to say yes to the poll :((
that would be so cool to read :))
Haha no worries. To see the votes, I used my main account to vote yes so it cancels out 🤣
When the room was empty, Corina went into a cupboard and took out a bottle of wine with two chalices.
“A toast,” she said, handing a glass to Caitlyn. “To the start of a beautiful partnership.”
Caitlyn gave her a smirk and nodded her head before clinking their glasses together. “To the downfall of Cassandra Kiramman.”
A cold smile curled up Corina’s face and Caitlyn only just barely held back her fingers from twitching towards her weapon.

Caitlyn completes her first mission with the Chembarons and meets with members of the alliance to discuss next steps.
My college professors would be so proud of me for using the research skills they taught me to try to figure out what the metal ring on the outside of a ductwork is for my fanfic 🤣 it’s called beading, in case anyone wanted to know.
So I've gone through the ideas that were given for a potential one-shot, and, while I still say I don't know yet if I will write one, one of them did catch my eye, but it reminded me of an old AU plot I had for HP back when I liked HP. We'll see. I'm very excited to jump back into Tethered (working on that next chapter starting today), and part of me might be too excited about the Pirate AU to wait 😂
“The Blade Itself ” by Joe Abercrombie. And by that, I mean I’ve read 20 pages in 3 weeks 😩😅

Okay, as we're getting closer to the end of "Heart Made of Glass, My Mind of Stone" fic, I want to kind of lay out what I want to happen, schedule/planning out wise.
First, I am going to go through all of "Heart of Glass" and clean some things up. There are, albeit minor, bits that I wrote but never did anything with that I will remove from the fic or alter (in the first few chapters, Caitlyn is mentioned/referred to attending a school in Piltover that I never did anything with, for example). None of these will affect the plot or change the characters in any ways, but this is one of the side effects of making up the story and posting it as you go that I do want to address.
I am still going to release a kind "deleted scenes" or "alternative perspectives" scenes chapter, but note that it won't be very long. Not sure if I'll attach it to "Heart of Glass" after the epilogue or make it its own stand alone that I have be apart of the "I Will Give You My Rebel Heart" series. It would be one chapter and I would be clear on what the contents of each scene will be and the structure of the chapter will be like little vignettes with their own sections. I plan on doing this after the fic is finished and after I clean it up.
As of right now, I don't know when the sequel will be written. I might take a short break if I feel like it after "Heart of Glass" is finished or I just might continue since I've been on this incredible stretch of time being so inspired. I've been planning some of the sequel out as I've been wrapping up "Heart of Glass," but it's not fully fleshed out by any means. While I don't plan on knowing how it ends before the first chapter is released, I do still want to have some goals/plot points to hit in mind.
