6曲からなるシュナイダーの3重奏の第4番です。　この曲はハイドンやモーツァルトのような様式で書かれており、とても軽快さが必要な曲です。しかし高速のタンギングが至るところに存在し、演奏にはたいへん苦しめられました。 This is No. 4 of Schneider's Trios Cocertante of 6 songs.　This song is written in a style like Haydn or Mozart, and it needs a lot of lightness.　And fast tonguing is everywhere. この3重奏のソナタは6曲構成でこの曲はその第4番にあたります。

ニ短調と言うフラウトトラヴェルソにとっては吹きにくい調で書かれております。

現代の楽器では調による音色の変化はほとんどありませんが、このフラウトトラヴェルソは吹きにくい音においては音色がくすむので 、曲の雰囲気に合わせて調を選んでたようです 。　例えば明るく躍動的な曲は何長調で、 ちょっとミステリアスな雰囲気を出したければニ短調やヘ長調などを使います 。
