2楽章の途中より現れるフーガはこの曲を特徴づけるもので、 懐古主義的な趣を感じます。

The fugue in the middle of the 2nd movement is very impressive.  I feel nostalgic there.

一人で三重奏を録音する上で、この曲に頻繁に出てくるシンコペーションはなかなか困難でした。
