im working with one of the girls who like sorta bullied me in elementary school in my film class and she did that thing that mean girls do where they passive-agressively say "cute!" to you when you do something..

I love Adrinette very much, they're everything to me. That said. I need a wacky highjinks scenario of Adrien going to visit Marinette transformed as Chat Noir and Mari FREAKS OUT because that's her EX (they had one kiss). that's her past SITUATIONSHIP (it lasted one day). What if her loving perfect amazing boyfriend discovers and gets upset (He hasn't realized her inner turmoil). So Mari bans chat from her balcony with tearful eyes and Adrien gets so sad because HIS GIRLFRIEND HATES HIS CAT PERSONA AGAIN (they're lovingly idiots your honor)

Miraculous Ladybug is so funny to me compared to other superhero/magical girl media, particularly how they get their powers.
For example in My Hero Academia you're born with them and their usefulness is mostly a question of luck and genetics
In One Punch Man and Dragon Ball (and Prime Defenders - very niche reference) some rare people are born with them or acquire them in a supernatural event
In Sailor Moon you gotta be the reincarnation of a goddess
In W.I.T.C.H. (also niche reference) you're chosen by an ancient magical council
In Winx you gotta be an alien fairy princess
In Marvel it depends but if you start off as a normal person you have to at least be a genius and sometimes train for years.
In Carmen Sandiego it's purely technology
Feel free to add other examples in the rbs
And then there's Miraculous Ladybug, where a teenage girl has a box full of jewels powerful enough to destroy the universe, and if she likes you even a little bit she just might lend you one and let you tag along

Fooduary Day 8: Key Lime Pie
Another 1930s invention (allegedly since hard dates are when cookbooks are published and no always the first one made), what I’ve discovered are that since a lot of the foods on this list are American classics we’re going to see 1908 to 1970 as the date range for a lot of these... unless I decide to go off script. Could happen. Anyway, for some reason my family as a whole wasn't big on pies so I can't actually say I've ever had key lime pie. Have you? Is it your favorite pie?
