Kinda self indulgent, but can I request post game events Angel getting sick. The boys (Peanuts and Biscuits) have also gotten sick and Angel was trying to take care of them but Dogday is like “Nope. I’m taking care of all of you” like a good husband and dad ❤️

Caretaker

It was, in short, a bad day for the household. You falling ill was already bad, what with how Dogday and the others fretted over you, but when the littles also became ill, things elevated from bad to worse. Because it was not just the toys fretting, but you too.

"Angel. . ." Dogday said, the upset in his tone making you wince. You glanced up from Peanuts, still holding the tissue for him to blow his nose into. Biscuits awaited his turn nearby, his own tissue clutched to his chest. "Angel, you should be resting."

You pouted up at him. "But they're sick-"

"So are you!" Dogday easily swooped you up into his arms. You yelped in shock, coughing heavily into your elbow afterwards. Dogday felt a smidgen of guilt at causing your slight fit, but assured himself it was for the greater good. "Angel, please. Kissy and Poppy are handling the chores, so let me take care of you." He glanced back to the shuffling kids following behind him. "All of you."

You grumbled, but didn't protest being laid into bed. You seemed to melt into the mattress, a smile twitching at your face as Dogday helped Biscuits and Peanuts both onto the bed as well. Biscuits still had his tissue, so you helped him blow his nose as Dogday fetched water and medicine from the bathroom.

It was a trial to get the kids to take cough syrup, with it being so gross. You made faces and gagged alongside them, relieved to have a pill instead of syrup yourself. Still, as Dogday cooed to a whimpering Peanuts and stroked the head of a miserable Biscuits, you made sure to give your own hushed praise and encouragement, if only to make the process somewhat easier.

However, that only led to you getting petted and squeaked at as you carefully took your own meds. It was terribly cute, especially when the pair looked to Dogday, protesting him just handing off your water. So Dogday helped you sip from the glass how he helped the littles, carefully cupping under your chin in case of spillage.

And only after that did everyone finally settle down. Dogday cleaned up best he could, throwing away snotty tissue and empty juice boxes. He made mental note to bring up some light snacks later, turning to see the three of you curled up and snoozing.

Dogday chuckled. You all gave a chorus of snores and whistling noses, snotty and congested no doubt. But it was still cute all the same.

He leaned down, kissing Biscuit's forehead, then Peanuts', then finally yours. He lingered with you, feeling the heat from your skin, before he finally pulled away, stroking you head.

"Sweet dreams, angel. I'll make sure you get better in no time."
