May I request headcanons of Akaashi crushing on nekomas new manager who is also international? Like maybe they met on the summer camp, she came in late with an expression that could kill hundred men but actually she’s very bubbly around her team (let’s say she’s almost like Saeko)

Summary — You are Nekoma's manager, and during summer camp you end up meeting a certain quiet black-haired boy who secretly has his eyes on you.

It all started on the first day of summer training camp, Akaashi's team was already warming up to start a match against Nekoma.

As he prepared himself, Akaashi could hear the Nekoma's captain conversation with his friends.

"Why is she taking so long to arrive? What if she had an accident on the way?!?" shouts Yamamoto through tears. "Don't be so dramatic you idiot! She must be fine, don't worry." says Yaku with his patience reaching at his limit with the boy.

At first Akaashi didn't care much, since he didn't know the person they were talking about, so he went back to exercising.

His attention was only caught when he heard the sound of the door opening with force. At the door was a girl he didn't know, her appearance was different from the others – perhaps she was foreign – he thought. She seemed to be panting, and from her expression, she seemed to be irritated, reeeeally irritated.

The boy watched you walk towards the Nekoma players. "Yamamoto you bastard! You gave me the wrong address and I ended up on the other side of town!" You shouted.

As you yelled at the boy with the mohawk, Akaashi watched you with curiously, it was almost as if he was being hypnotized by your beauty.

Soon after, he found out that you recently moved to Japan and now is studying at Nekoma and acting as the manager of the volleyball team.

At first, he thought you were the type to get stressed about everything and everyone around you, but after observing you for a while, he could see that you were completely the opposite.

You were an extremely nice person to be around, always having fun with the Nekoma boys and other teams too! Whenever someone got upset or needed help, you were always the first to offer your help.

Your helpful and energetic way certainly captivated Akaashi, perhaps even too much.

And it wasn't just your personality that made him like this, your appearance was also breathtaking. Your foreign features certainly added an extra charm to your look.

At any moment of the day, he would find himself thinking about you. Whenever you passed him, his eyes always followed your figure to wherever you were going.

He always tried to be as polite as possible with you, always greeting you or offering to help you with some task when he wasn't in a match.

Somehow, Kuroo noticed Akaashi's crush to you, and ended up giving the boy a little help.

He came up with the idea of the two of you being alone while the camp barbecue was going on.

And it worked!

The two of you were in a more secluded place watching by far while the boys fought over who could get the biggest piece of meat from the grill.

You had a nice conversation that time, even though 70% of the conversation was you rambling on about several different topics as he listened intently and added a few comments.

And after a while, he finally had the courage to ask for your number.

At that moment, you felt your heart speed up and your cheeks heat up.

The truth was that you had also had your eye on the setter since the first time you saw him.

You happily exchanged numbers with Akaashi, and you even agreed to go to a date with him on a day when you both were free.

And as time passed, he was sure he was in love with you, and tried his best to treat you in the best possible way during the time you spoke with him, both through messages and in person.

You certainly had an effect on him that he couldn't even imagine feeling right now.

A/N — I'm so sorry if my writing or my english isn't good, it's my first time doing this kind of thing...😭

Aside from these factors, I thought it was really fun to write this! And I'm sorry again if I didn't interpret Akaashi correctly or left him with a different personality from the anime, I'm not that big of a fan of him so I needed to research about him a little before writing!!

I don't know if I will ever be blessed with children or not but Yuji will always be my most precious son. Honey mom loves you.

The duallity

Okay but you’re spending your evening just hanging out and watching Spider-Man: No Way Home when Morpheus appears in your living room because he has no sense when it comes to letting you know ahead of time that he wants to see you or just, y’know, having Matthew pop by and be like “boss is coming in five!”

So after you recover from your heart attack you let him know that you’re just watching a movie tonight so if he has better things to do involving The Dreaming/being an Endless, he can do that. He doesn’t understand why you’d say that bc why wouldn’t he want to spend time with you, so he sits down next to you and lets you drape yourself over him before you unpause the movie.

Of course, Dream was imprisoned long before comic books really came to be mainstream, so he has no clue what anything on the screen is. You have to pause every time a new character appears on screen, because he will undoubtedly say, “Who’s this?” and you have to try and respond while also not launching into all the lore™️.

(“Who’s this?”

“MJ, Peter’s girlfriend.”

“Who’s this?”

“Doc Ock, he’s a villain from another universe.”

“Who’s this?”

“Matt Murdock.” On screen, the brick flies through the window, and Matt catches it with ease. You say his line at the same time that he does, “He’s a really good lawyer,” and laugh when Dream looks shocked that you knew what he was going to say. God, you love having a boyfriend that knows nothing about technology or movies or anything.)

And this keeps up, honestly, you’re having a blast with it. It’s fun to get to introduce characters that you’ve watched since you were little to an anthropomorphic personification who is eons older than you are. And then it gets to the scene where one Flint Marko is dropped into the MCU, and Dream again asks who that is.

“Sandman,” you say without thinking, forgetting who it is you’re sitting next to.

“Who?” Morpheus asks in bewilderment.

“Oh!” Shit, you did not anticipate this. “No, it’s not like, a character based off of you or anything like that. He’s literally made out of sand, which is why he’s called Sandman.”

Morpheus scoffs. “My, it must have taken them ages to try and come up with a name so clever.”

You smirk. “Are you mad that your name’s been co-opted, or are you mad he doesn’t have your powers?”

“I’m not mad over a fictional character. It’s just ridiculous that a character such as this would be designed, only for them to name him,” Morpheus scoffs again, as if the very thought is paining him, “Sandman.”

Mad about the name, then. Got it. “I can…pick something else to watch?” you suggest.

Dream shakes his head, acting like this didn’t just get him all riled up. “No, let us finish your superhero movie,” he grumbles before begrudgingly allowing you to hesitantly turn your attention back to the screen.

It’s a good thing Sandman doesn’t have a major part in this movie.

notes || I am currently on episode 7! So, I am still getting a grasp of Morpheus’s character and how he acts and speaks, so bear with me as I settle into his character. This could be a series if people want more than this part, so let me know! Enjoy reading!

How were you always appearing in the dreaming? 

Almost every other hour, the sand would wisp up into a flurry of particles, welcoming your arrival. The wind would pick up and there would be a shift in the air, making all creatures of the dreaming turn towards the magnificent doors that would open to welcome one and all as they explored their dream or their nightmare. But, after about twenty minutes or so— your presence would be lost. 

This confused the Dream Lord, never in his eons of living has he encountered a human with the power to enter the dreaming at will. It was known that humanity would tuck into their beds at night, shut their eyes, and the sand would create a blanket over their consciousness, and they would dream. That is how he had known it all— until now. 

“It would seem that either a human has gained untimely powers or a new endless has been created…”

Lucienne’s voice carried through the throne room, as she peered at Morpheus with eyes of concern, concern for the dreaming. Morpheus— however was curious of how a human could possibly dream during the day in such small increments. He sat clad upon the long and winding staircase that led up to his mighty throne, robes draped down some steps like a glass of spilt milk, the stained-glass reflecting various shapes onto the ground and onto both him and Lucienne. The columns on either side of the rather large room loomed above the endless— giving the two a minuscule perspective in comparison. 

“Shall we go greet our so random guest-…?”

“No, I will go to their physical form and greet them there-”

A situation like this would cause panic normally, however Dream had questions that needed answers— and he would get them from you whether you like it or not.

“Would you please look at number seven in your at-home textbooks, please.”

Eyes cast to the side, looking at the wall, all outside noise being cast out like warmth within winter, Morpheus watched you from behind, noting your neutral expression in almost concentration. Nothing could break you from your dream-like trance, until he spoke.

“Dear love, for nothing less than thee— Would I have broke this happy dream; It was a theme—”

You turned and gasped at the stranger within your home, quickly shutting the laptop as your professor was still droning on. Morpheus couldn’t lie to himself when he thought your expression was amusing.

“For reason, much too strong for fantasy, Therefore thou wak’d'st me wisely…”

“Who are you?!” You were panicked, rightfully so.

“The poems called— The Dream by John Donne…ever partake in one of his works?”

“I SAID, who are you?!”

“Dream of the Endless, and I have several questions for you, Dream Walker.”

   “It’s called daydreaming— I do NOT walk-through dreams.” You were gripping onto a mug of tea like it was an anchor keeping you still, calm. Human behavior was so very interesting, and watching you nervously explain yourself was entertaining.

“It’s erm— when you let your mind drift to another place, other than the current moment.”

“So, you have powers?”

“No! I just— You haven’t explained why you are here in the first place?! Why is my daydreaming important to you? And why are you named Dream? That’s so…odd.”

“I rule over the Dreaming, the place you go when you fall asleep at night, or in your case— every other hour.”

“How—What—” 

“And I revealed myself to you because I have never encountered someone who could enter my kingdom and leave so seamlessly without a thought.”

Your face said a million words that even you could not let out coherently, obviously the thought of meeting the anthropomorphic version of one of your favorite things to do was— how you say— alarming and daunting. But this so called “Day-Dreaming” that you did, piqued his interest greatly. His gaze caught yours looking him up and down, similar to how his many past lovers had done before he had greeted them with the dark and alluring charm he possesses, and he couldn’t help but ask a blunt question.

“Come to the Dreaming with me?”

Your eyes widened in shock— very interesting.

“I can teach you things and show you how to harness whatever ability you hold. Why stay here, in mundane living, when you can gather so much knowledge.”

He knew it wasn’t a good thing to do, bringing a human to his kingdom to be an apprentice— his family would have his head on a silver-platter, served with a cup of sand and a chuckle. But you were significant, you were—different. You were made to dream— and the reality of this world was not for you.

“Come. with. Me.” His hand was now held out, an invitation, a promise, a bond which would not be broken if you laid your hand upon his. If you took his hand, a world of possibilities would be open to you. If you held his hand, your fate would be sealed and intertwined with his, and you had no qualms about it at all— as you let the sand circle around you, the grainy and rough air whisking you from ordinary life, into one that would be complicated. But you were made to dream, and you would find more reality within a world of dreams than any other world here nor there.
