the pilot for Pieces of Powder hit my yt recommended today and it absouletely floored me. the artstyle is wonderful, the animation is super well done, the voices are fantastic, it's beautiful in really almost every way. the dynamic between Powder and Marcy was so cute they fit eachother so well

i fixate on things easily but i can't remember the last time anything, especially an indie project, made me feel like this

powder is just like me -- the overthinking, hating the "get to know people" projects, etc. -- and i'm genuinely happy she has someone to gel with

so, i'm a somewhat avid self-shipper. something like 40 xreaders read on wattpad lmao. but, not once, not twice, but like 4 times now i've fallen for a character and one of two things goes from there:

- about 70% of their fandom content is about a lesbian ship, for fem f/os

- for male f/os, there's rarely any content at all out there for them, let alone mlm

i suppose this is really just a rant post, but what better time to do so than 10pm

I'm a nonsharer kind of???? Like i get a lil uncomfy seeing my f/o shipped with other ppl from the fandom [a lot of his content is shipping so I have a bunch of those tags blocked :3]... But. But seeing doubles makes me all whimsical and joyous. I'm all like "YES!!!! We both love f/o!!! Isnt he so great :DD" and then move on so. Maybe it's cuz they actually have an s/i they can draw him with? Anyways yeah they're very cool.
