You and Sebastian have been trying for a child for a while but after a talk you decide to take a break for a small amount of time. Character – Sebastian x Reader Word Count - 1209
‘I’m sorry I pushed this on your so hard.’ You said to him, he shook his head, making the bed shake. ‘Don’t be.’ He said next to you. ‘I shouldn’t have force it on you.’ You said, your voice breaking slightly. Sebastian moved so he was on his side, head resting on his hand. ‘You didn’t force it on me. We both wanted it as much as each other.’ He told you his hand, tracing patterns on your arm which was closest to him. ‘I made us do it all the time, and it’s not working anymore.’ You continued trying to place the blame on yourself, after having tried for almost nine months for a mini you and Sebastian. ‘shh… we both knew going into this it could happen straight away or it would take some time to happen.’ He said, placing a kiss onto your shoulder, you nodded. ‘We should take a small break, give us both time to prepare.’ He said awkwardly, and you giggled as you turned around to face him. ‘I’ll need to still keep track of my period though.’ You said to him, he nodded. ‘Well I can help with that. Your last period was at Comic Con, cause I had to go do a panel and then I brought back some Bucky and Steve cookies from one of the stalls.’ He told you and you mouth dropped open slightly. ‘How long ago was Comic Con?’ You questioned him. ‘Five weeks ago, why?’ He told you as he watched your intently. ‘Five weeks?’ You asked again, he nodded his head. ‘It can’t be right.’ You mumbled to yourself but he heard it. You reached to the bedside table and picked up your phone. ‘What?’ He asked as he watched you unlock your phone and go to your calendar. You calculated the weeks to be sure before locking your phone and placing it back on the bedside table. ‘I’m a week late.’ You stated as you turned and faced him. ‘What?’ It was his turn to be confused. ‘My period, I’m a week late.’ You told him, he looked at you and smiled. Rolling over so you were pinned under him, his elbows at either side of your head. ‘Are you pregnant?’ He asked. ‘I mean I’ve been stressed from work and that could totally fling it off.’ You continued explaining it to him. He watched as you went silent and he could almost hear the clogs in your brain turning. ‘But yeah.’ You said as you finally focussed on him, he broke out in a massive smile and pressed kisses all over your face. You started giggling as you pushed him over and he was on his back, you straddling his hips. He looked up at you and smiled widely before he sat up, your noses pressing against each other. ‘We’re having a baby.’ He whispered as his hands made their way under you top and placed gently on your belly, you smiled and nodded.
3 months later. ‘Are you sure you want to tell them?’ He asked as he nuzzled into your neck, his hands resting on your small bump. ‘Yeah, why don’t you want to tell them?’ You questioned him, he had been excited all week. ‘I don’t know. It’s our little secret just now. I just don’t want to tell anyone.’ He mumbled into your neck, you brung you hand up and ran it through his hair. ‘Well we’re telling the family tonight, friends at the weekend and we’ll tell the fans closer to the date, so you can have a special secret.’ You teased him, he smiled but nodded. Placing a kiss to your neck before he pulled back.
‘Mmmm. Did you make this?’ You mum asked you, you rolled your eyes at her. ‘Yes, mum don’t sound so surprised.’ You said, Sebastian’s hand landed on your thigh as she licked the spoon, looking at it before placing it down. He squeezed it as she picked it back up and looked closer, before screaming surprising everyone at the table. ‘What’s wrong?’ Sebastian’s mum asked. Your mum looked at the two of you with wide eyes. ‘Really?’ She questioned, you both nodded your head with smiles. ‘Really what?’ Sebastian mum asked, you looked at them and smiled. ‘Read your spoons.’ You told them, they looked confused but licked their spoons and read them. there was a deafening silence before screams and squeals echoed throughout the room. Yours and Sebastian’s mum, ran around to you, hugging your tightly where as your dad high fived Sebastian.
4 months later. ‘You ready to go?’ Sebastian asked, you nodded as you looked up from your phones. ‘Seb?’ You said, he poked his head back out the bathroom with a raised eyebrow. ‘We should tell the fans. I don’t want them to find out through the media or anyone else.’ You told him, he nodded and walked over to you, offering you a hand to help you up with your gratefully took. ‘Okay, I’ll post it in the car.’ He said. You smiled as you grabbed your bag and the both of you made your way to the car that was waiting out the front for the two of you. Once you were driving to the venue, you and Sebastian brung out your phones deciding to announce the news of your baby on the way there, once you had both posted, within seconds both your phones were buzzing.
As you got out your car, you stumbled a little but found your balance and smile at Sebastian. When everyone saw the two of you they screamed, then when Sebastian moved to your side the fans screamed louder and the paparazzi aimed the cameras towards you. You walked hand and hand down the carpets until the first interviewer. ‘Mr and Mrs Stan, lovely to see you both tonight.’ She spoke cheerfully. ‘Nice to meet you too.’ You and Sebastian said at the same time. ‘So breaking news for anyone who doesn’t already know. You’re pregnant.’ She said loudly, and the fans cheered around you. ‘I don’t know who said that, Seb just challenged me to eat a watermelon seed and here we are.’ You joked as you gestured to your belly, all three of you laughed. ‘Well congrats on the watermelon then, how far along are you?’ She questioned, you rubbed your belly as you felt her kick, knowing that she was being talked about. ’29 weeks, so 7 months now.’ You said as you calculated it in your head. ‘Are you excited to be a father?’ She asked turning to Sebastian after you answered. ‘Of course, she’s going to be daddy’s little girl.’ He said as he placed his hands onto your bump and she kicked again, Sebastian smiled and pressed a kiss to your cheek. ‘Well it was lovely to meet you, good luck with your movie and your little one.’ She said, you smiled widely and nodded. ‘Thank you, we will.’ You both said smiling, before moving onto the next interviewer. The rest of the interviews being a repeat of the last, not asking much about the movie, mostly about the little girl, but you and Sebastian didn’t mind.

➥ “He never thought he’d be this guy, but then he met Pepper. A woman who loved him despite…well, him being him. A woman who cared about him long before he declared he was Iron Man. A woman who had saved him as many times as he had saved the world. There were so many different ways to be a superhero to someone”. - Destiny Arrives by Liza Palmer

even tho I seriously love movies and my fictional characters I’m 100000% willing to give them up if it means sexual predators will no longer be in the industry
I literally couldn’t care less if we lose good bands and good movies if it means outing sexual predators. Let it all fall apart if that’s what it takes to stop allowing these disgusting people safe places to abuse their power. Fuck your favorite movies, fuck your favorite tv shows, fuck your favorite albums. Stop defending bad people because they make good content.
The final “battle” in Captain Marvel was such an amazing metaphor.
Her male superior wanted her to fight (debate) him without showing emotion. He wanted her to do things to his specific set of rules, even though they don’t make any sense. He wanted her to fulfil a specific set of criteria in order to take her seriously, even though she could do the job perfectly well. He changed the rules on her because she started winning.
And every woman, or person in any other marginalised group, knows that feeling. Of not being taken seriously in your opinions because you’re not playing by the bullshit rules that have no real meaning. Because you’re too emotional. Using your own past and experiences to fuel that emotion. And we know the feeling of being told that it’s a weakness.
In the cinema, I was worried that she was going to play by his rules. I sat, recognising that exact moment for what it was, and I was worried that she was going to give in and play by the rules he was trying to give her.
But she didn’t.
She did the perfect thing in response. She used the strength she actually had, because she’d surpassed him and it didn’t matter any more if he respected her, or if he approved. She didn’t need to play by his rules any more.
And as a woman, I really needed to see that.
