Turning your life around? Coming out of a funk? Getting over a breakup? Need to reignite your spark for life? Need to feel in control? Want a boost of confidence? Dealing with low self esteem?
Where to start:
Exercise every day
Skincare + makeup of personal preference (yes this includes not wearing makeup at all if that is your personal preference)
Hair done
Showered and moisturized
At least one hobby you engage with on a daily/frequent basis
At least one skill you are developing on a daily/frequent basis
If you havenāt gotten a 7 day workout streak and completed the other bullet points on this list yet, stop moaning, get to work, and kill your distractions.
This is level 0.
Shout out to those who got through the hardest parts of their life without anyone's help. You're all really strong. But also remember that you don't have to keep doing it. It's okay to ask for help.

Iām not Asian myself but I saw a lot of comments like this on the Shang Chi trailer and wanted to make a PSA for my fellow non-Asians out there:
āJokesā like this are not funny and never have been, this is a great example of normalized micro aggressions against Asians and if you are not Asian you donāt need to be making comments like this.

9/4/21 | 96/103 Days of Productivity
This is going to be a busy month.
i promise you this: whoever you're becoming, however much effort you're putting in everyday, whatever it is you're working towards outweighs the person you've been and the mistakes you've made. who you are today matters. you are not ruined.
self-care isnāt always about letting yourself indulge in an activity or do whatever you want. sometimes it means that you have to recognize your destructive habits and actively work to fix them, no matter how hard it is. people seem to consider self-care doing things you want to do, and while thatās a part of it, itās really just as much about doing things that are healthy for you.
I really really wish I was a cat, Iām not built for this capatalist society but I am built for sleeping 19 hours a day and knocking things over
trying to do this today!
As it turns out, that super complex and confusing topic that you absolutely would not understand ever is actually relatively easy if you, you know, read your course literature.
If I get at least one thing done in a day Iām a genius if I get two things done Iām a god
it strikes me as somewhat uncomfortable that so many people focus on asian stories only after the events of the past couple of days. people dm me for the first time in months and asian creators get spotlighted (which is lovely), and yet it feels so performative. why? because so many of these ppl dming me and whatnot have never been interested in interacting diverse content or speaking out about the stories of pocāitās like theyāre doing this to solely gain brownie points. in a few monthsā time, they wonāt be doing all this anymore. theyāll go back to their silence, to not caring about asian creators. thatās what makes it performative. the stories of asian people shouldnāt be heard and spread only when theyāve been murdered and/or when their pain finally makes it onto news headlines.
fully canāt believe it took a massacre for people/mainstream media to care about the hate crimes that have been going on for a year+
We have been trying to tell you this for so goddamn fucking long. We are NOT basically white, we donāt get TREATED as basically white, and we are SICK of people assuming this.
If we were treated as ābasically whiteā, we would not be fetishized the way we are. We would not be infantilized. Our cultures would not be stereotyped and demonized and ridiculed. We would not be blamed for a fucking pandemic that was not our fault in any way. We would not be blamed constantly for the actions of the Chinese government when many of us arenāt even ethnically Chinese.
We would not be SHOT because of our race. Our businesses would not be targeted because of our race.
We are often excluded from spaces designed to support POC because they think weāre ābasically whiteā, or donāt need that support. We are excluded from mainly-white spaces because we arenāt Caucasian.
Itās a fucking SHAME that it takes a fucking MASS SHOOTING for y'all to hear what weāve been trying to tell you this entire fucking time.
We are not your pretty little waifu anime cuties. We are not your nerds or token characters. We are not your squinty-eyed caricatures. We are not your ācommunist virusā.
We are not getting constantly stereotyped, put down, shoved aside, and chiseled down by white people into a box of what their āmodel minorityā should look like, fetishized, treated as a joke, and murdered by white supremacists just for you to go and say weāre ābasically whiteā.
Thank you for your time.

there are so many things that I want to do. I think I will stay on my phone for 2 more hours
the overwhelming grief of losing an entire year to sickness, violence and pandemic fatigue is settling in so id like to remind everyone that: you are not a failure, yes there is still a happy future for you, and wearing a mask is very sexy
29.09.20 / i finally got to rearranging the photos and artwork on my wall. iām the type of person who thrives when my surroundings are refreshed and organized so iām feeling extra productive now that i have a ānewā desk situation. iām editing a first draft at the moment while listening to older albums i havenāt listened to in a while. i hope youāre having a lovely tuesday ā”

some notes i took for bio earlier this week
although a lot of people enjoy decorating their notes, i find that i often donāt have the time or energy to do that even if i would like to. itās okay if your notes donāt have fancy headers or pretty drawings. if your notes are effective, then they are good notes :)
