Everyone’s talking about how Kai was all happy in Dragons Rising the whole time after what we learnt he goes through in Monstrosity, which is set before DR season 1. I have also talked about how Kai is sm sillier and happy despite all that and theorised it was a mask.

But have we considered how it’s another clear example as to how the ninja are so desensitised to their suffering? How they quickly move on?
