No no you don't understand! I want to watch this show/movie, read this book, listen to this podcast, etc.! But I must be in the right mindset and the exact head space to begin, or I just can't!
Some random No.6 meta in 2020 which I'm sure has been said by someone else at some point:
Part of what makes Nezumi and Shion's dynamic so compelling and interesting is that they have some negative effect on each other as well as positive.
Like Nezumi helps Shion become less naive and helps him understand the struggles of others, but he also does desensitize him to violence, the point where it even upsets Nezumi himself.
Shion helps Nezumi become less distrustful, and teaches him that people can just be kind for the sake of it (and that kind, trustworthy people have been around him from the beginning) but he also makes him at times possessive and short sighted at times (like when he hides the note from Shion).
Like relationships where they both improve are great, and these two definitely do, but human relationships can be messy and imperfect, and its nice to see that a little in these guys.
Which path should he choose?
The path of the warrior, the path of the scholar, or the path of the artist?
“he’s just some guy” well i like some guys

Me: Did you know that medieval cathedrals weren't actually supposed to be dark and rundown places with only stained glass as color? They were bright places full of light... the reason they look like that now is because of the centuries of accumulated grime and dust, here look at this restoration of the Cathedral of Chartres in France:
It's based on actual paint from the times, and when you think about it, it makes a lot more sense, after all a church is supposed to be a bright place of hope. Yet when we think about the middle ages we think about grimy and dark cathedrals. I wonder how much of our conception of history is shaped by our current visions of historical buildings.
My Goth GF: listen, I don't think this thing between us is working,
