psa: i’ve recently discovered that i’m a lesbian and i’ve never been more relieved in my entire life.
me breaking out of the fear of never being with a man but realizing i don’t actually like penis:
Grow (1970). Art by Linda Brewer.
One of the stranger things about training brand new nurses is explaining how to min max small talk. It feels very weird to coach people on how to chat.
"Anti-aging"? Nah bro, I'm pro-aging. Aging is a privilege, a blessing.
This made me realize that my actual dream life in high school was to be a lesbian paladin. It only changed because I am much lazier.
The Dungeons & Dragons paladin is objectively the funniest class because at first glance it seems like an artefact of an earlier age of the fantasy genre for which contemporary inspirations are thin on the ground, but then you dig into its thematic core and realise there are contemporary popular media characters who almost perfectly fit the mould, but like 80% of them are deeply unwell teenage lesbians.
Shifting into summertime mode which is where I don't gaf about anything but 1) reading books 2) going in large bodies of water 3) wearing as little clothes as possible
I both do and don’t believe in astrology partially because I’m agnostic and also because people are annoying about it. I do know my full birth chart and how weird it is. Also I don’t tell people my sign because I’m a Scorpio and they assume bad things about me. But Happy Birthday to me (it’s not today but it’s close)
it does still make me insane specifically how many queer people lovingly embrace astrology. I went to a poetry workshop yesterday that was genuinely quite good but also included an option to disclose astrology designations during introductions and so many people broke out some variation of "I'm a [x] sum but I have a [y] placement and it SHOWS" girl no it doesn't. that's meaningless correlation you completely invented the causation
I am a cottage core lesbian fairy forced to be in society
This and when there’s a belt holding everything together is also probably a good place to try to hit with a sword.
Every time I see a JRPG protagonist whose entire outfit is apparently held together by a single enormous zipper with a pull-tab the size of a soda can dangling from their chest, I have to wonder if any of their opponents in battle ever decide to just grab that thing and yank.
