So you know how the Wilhelm Scream is in a ton of films as a soundtrack in-joke? It was popularized by Ben Burtt, who was a sound editor on a ton of ton of Lucas films, like all the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films.

Well, he cameos in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. That's him there. His only screen time is getting knocked over a rail, and he does an imitation of the Wilhelm scream as he does it.

I do not typically collect science fiction magazines, but this one is an obvious must-have for me. This cover art by David Martin is some of the most fun I have ever seen, from the cat galaxy to the mouse spaceship. 10000/10, no notes on this stupendous edition of Amazing Stories from 1991.

I agree because I’ve had some shitty doctors. They don’t listen to the patient and want it to be easy. Then I find out later that the meds they give you for the problem they want it to be make it worse. Anyway don’t be afraid to do your own research and ask questions. This is also why people watched the show House MD.

Doctors should snark at each other more, be a bit mean. Not for no reason, mind you. But if five doctors blow me off about symptoms and doctor number six FINALLY runs actual tests and gets a diagnosis, I think it should be Doctor Six's right to call up the other five and tell them they're lazy pieces of shit. That should be socially encouraged. Those first five doctors clearly can't listen to patients, but maybe another doctor might finally get to them.

At least we wouldn’t have to do everything just tell him when someone is being treated unequally or unfairly, then they tell why they did that to not get beat up by the principal. It would go on and instantly every story is solved without us. Kinda boring game but an episode of South Park I would watch on repeat.

Damhnait Doyle is a Canadian singer, songwriter, performer, and creator. Spanning a music career of more than two decades, she has released nine full length recordings as both a solo artist and a member of award-winning groups Shaye and The Heartbroken. She has toured Canada extensively, opening for legends like Willie Nelson and Steve Earle and has lent her voice to numerous recordings including albums by Kevin Parent and Bruce Cockburn. In 2021, she became a full-time CBC Music Radio Host. In April 2021, Doyle sang the song "Sleeping in the Cold Below", a stylised sea shanty, for inclusion in the game Warframe.

Warframe is a free-to-play action role-playing third-person shooter multiplayer online game developed and published by Digital Extremes. Players control members of the Tenno, a race of ancient warriors who have awoken from centuries of suspended animation far into Earth's future to find themselves at war with different factions in the Origin System. The Tenno use their powered Warframes, along with a variety of weapons and abilities, to complete missions. While many of the game's missions use procedurally generated levels, it also includes large open world areas similar to other massively multiplayer online games, as well as some story-specific missions with fixed level design. "Sleeping In The Cold Below" is a song featured in the Call of the Tempestarii quest. It is sung by the character Vala Glarios of the Corpus as she dreamt of her deceased crew singing with her.
