Also Wolfram always says he "loves and respects" Yuuri, which is not convincing enough as a confession because it basically refers to his love for him as a king.

There are no headcanons needed, as Yuuri has already confessed plenty in novels and manga.

Manga:

Chapter 108 where he tells Wolfram “I finally caught you” , using the same words Wolf used when he saved him. As Wolfram will say later on “the catching” is of course, falling in love.

Novels:

Novel 9, chapter 9

-He tells Wolfram “You’re cute” (Wolfram misunderstands and thinks Yuuri wants to turn him into a human sacrifice. Oh novels, I love you so~!) 

In Japanese culture: You don’t go around telling people they’re cute, unless you like them.

Novel 14, chapter 7-

-The bed scene because it’s a tree that keeps on giving is a confession too (1)“Thank goodness I still have you beside me.”(2)“You’re being so honest about your feelings, it’s sickening.”(3) “I don’t even have the strength to pretend anymore.”

Not only does Yuuri confess (1), but Wolfram acknowledges the confession and makes sure that Yuuri is saying what he thinks he’s saying (2); Yuuri confirms (3)

This scene is really spectacular in the drama cds (cd56, disc 1, track 11), first because there are some added words to it, second because you can hear the tone in their voices. Although the word ‘sickening’ might not intuitively feel like love in English, it works in the context in Japanese. Wolfram is pretty much saying “you’re being straightforward about your feelings” and Yuuri is saying, “yeah I am”.

-Novel 15, chapter 5Yuuri asks Wolfram :“What’s the meaning of that punch to my stomach? Do you want a divorce? To remarry another person?”

I think we’re a bit past “confessions” once Yuuri starts assuming that they’re married.

- End of Seisakoku arc (nv.15, chapter 8)Marriage talk continues: Yuuri accuses Wolfram of domestic violence…. If you’re not family, it’s not domestic violence, it’s just violence. Once again, Wolfram misunderstands the whole thing. In novel 15.5 he’ll talk about Domestic violence again, this time feeling bad himself for having stabbed Wolfram back then.

And for those of you who haven’t read my past analyses:Japanese people don’t say I love you (aishiteiru is never used in rl). They rarely say “I like you”. A vast majority of MARRIED couples have never said “I love/like you” (suki da). 

In Japanese there are all sorts of euphemisms to say you like someone, without having to use the words.

And if saying that “The moon looks beautiful tonight” is a love confession, I think that asking someone if they are trying to divorce you, has a very “we’re a married ” tone to it, no? 

AND, if the ‘Love Letter’ story in the last doujinshi, where they write things they like about each other, aren’t 26 damn love confessions then I don’t know what is!

Finally, Wolfram

It’s lovely how yuuram fans (not just you, lovely batkray) all want a confession from Yuuri …. but no one wants one from Wolf? Why not? 

Is it because he tells Yuuri he’s beautiful? Well, guess what? Yuuri always replies with a “you’re more beautiful than I am” to Wolf.

Is it because he sneaks into Yuuri’s bed? Well, guess what? Yuuri is the one who lets him come into his room, sleep, and stay with him. There IS a lock in the door. (novel 4)Is it because Wolfram pretty much jumped Yuuri to have sex with him in the second novel? Well, guess what? Yuuri didn’t say no. He panicked a bit and jumped into the ofuro saying “You don’t want to do it with a smelly guy, right?” He was buying himself time, not knowing he was returning to earth, and his mouth intuitively said yes to Wolf. “Yes, lemme take a bath”For those of you who don’t know this: Japanese people ALWAYS take a bath before sex. Yuuri didn’t run back outside to the corridor to get help (pretty sure there are soldiers guarding him around the clock), he went to the ofuro TO TAKE A BATH! He even said the words” You don’t want to do it with a smelly guy”.

So what’s up with that?

Didn’t Yuuri go above and beyond confessing? Don’t Yuuri’s words and actions count, too? Didn’t he choose Wolf to go with him on an “adventure”, knowing it would just be the two of them in Seisa arc? Didn’t he call Wolfram cute? Didn’t he almost loose himself when he thought Wolf was dead? Doesn’t he constantly think about Wolfram’s beauty and braveness, and is terrified of that time when Wolf almost died? Didn’t he tell Wolfram he’s happy to have him in the bed scene? Didn’t he get in bed with Wolfram to get comforted by him, telling him he couldn’t pretend anymore? Didn’t Yuuri ask Wolfram if his punch meant ‘divorce’? Doesn’t he talk about Wolfram and himself as having “domestic violence” issues? Didn’t he COMPLAIN that Wolfram isn’t sleeping with him since Seisa? Doesn’t he refer to Wolfram as Greta’s father!? Doesn’t he say that Wolfram is the only one who can understand him when it comes to parenting Greta? Didn’t he tell Wolfram in misepan 2 that he would give him anything Wolfram wanted? Wolfram didn’t say that… Yuuri said that! Didn’t he sit down to write wonderful things about Wolf in ‘Love Letter’? The doujinshi is called Love Letter! And how about Crossheart? The story where he asks Wolfram if he would cry if Yuuri wasn’t there anymore? Yuuri plainly said he WOULD cry, and Wolfram said he wouldn’t because he didn’t want Yuuri to be sad…. Not to mention that before Wolfram explained himself, Yuuri immediately felt hurt because he thought a fiance should cry.

Conversely: Has he ever done any of these things, thought any of these things towards anyone else? Is anyone else Greta’s father? Did he tell anyone else he would give them anything they want? Did he ask anyone else if they wanted a divorce!? 

In my opinion, anyone refusing to accept that Yuuri has confessed to Wolfram, has professed his love with words and actions has simply not read the novels; or is negating half the canon to fit some other ship.

(analysis ) Healing, maryoku and longevity

I’m back at trying to figure out things in maruma. 

Canon

1) In novel 1, Gunter said that mazoku owe their longevity to the healing hands tribe. The tribe has been in Shin makoku for 2000 years, and they got there because humans persecuted them and drove them out. 2) In further novels we learn that: 1) mazoku get sick if there are houryoku stones around, and that they can’t use their majutsu if they don’t have elements to control. - Majutsu (ma skills) then, seems to be the power of controlling MA elements with your maryoku (ma power). How well you can do it connects solely to the “quality” of your soul, but it still needs training. Something like: you have a max cap in your ability, but you need training to reach that max. (Julia talks about training for decades in “Falling in love”). - Healing powers are not well explained. ————————————————————————————————-

Analysis

First question: Is healing for mazoku connected to maryoku?

We can infer that ‘Yes, it is’… because Adalbert uses houjutsu to heal Yuuri, and it feels different and stings and such… so, it’s fair to say that the same applies to mazoku and that they use their majutsu for healing.

But here’s the thing: the green tribe didn’t have maryoku before reaching Shin Makoku. 

Second question: Is healing majutsu the same as ‘healing hand tribe’ power?

And here the answer is YES. I just went through the canon and realized it’s actually IN THERE!  Novel 10, chapter 6

(Gisela) “The closer we get to Seisakoku, the stronger the discomfort, and it’s possible that majutsu can’t be used either, naturally the same goes for the abilities of the ‘healing hand tribe’ . But Your Excellency, I just hope you will understand this. Healing was never just majutsu. The true essence of healing is the healer’s heart, a kind heart is a necessity, and the most important thing is the modesty of wanting to heal the wounded.”

But then HOW could they use it before getting to Shin Makoku?????

Third question: Can the healing hand tribe use their abilities in human territory?

One might infer YES, because they came from human territory because their long life and healing abilities were scaring the humans, so yes? So here’s the real question… why didn’t Gisela save Julia. I mean… she was right there. Julia had time to ask her to burn her body so… yo Gisela what’s up with that?

Fourth question: If the healing hand tribe are to be thank for mazoku’s long life, and their abilities are not maryoku-related, can we infer it’s simply them healing mazoku that made them live longer?

I would say Yes. What other reason would there be? It would also explain why mazoku age differently. The more healing, the longer you live. The traits seem to also be passed down through generations. Otherwise there’d be mazoku who live the same as humans if they never needed healing.  (Such as earth mazoku who never got the healing)

So 2000 years of healing and passing down those traits has made most mazoku look 1/5th of their age when compared to human beings.

I just love the way the whole scene plays and while Yuuri makes more than just a confession to Wolf. Plus, him giving Wolf anything also reminded me of the seisakoku arc. That arc was so bittersweet♡

For the point 3 though, I think they were already an accepted couple waaaay back right after that whole slap incident. (I think it's only Günter at this point who cannot properly digest it🤣)

Ok! But I would really recommend reading it.  I have said this many times, there's something about Takabayashi-sensei style, the way she writes her stories, that I really, really like.

Misepan 2

Title: Misepan, means "Showing panties". So the first part (written 2 years prior and almost completely disconnected of part 2), was about a bet Murata thought for Yuuri. Yuuri said he was unpopular and Murata said he wasn't and bet Yuuri he could get someone to "show him their panties."

Summary of part 1: In part 1, some chick was looking for a ring her bf gave her in the river and Yuuri helped her. That and the bet is the entire story.

Intro: Misepan 2 starts in Shin Makoku. The topic of 'lost item' continues. This time it's Yuuri who has lost something very important. A hand made necklace that Greta gave him.

The first part shows Yuuri and Wolfram around the castle. Yuuri tells Wolf he's looking for the necklace because he lost it. They meet Cherie-sama, who is wearing a maid suit and bunny ears and tells Yuuri that she wants Wolf to wear the same to attract customers for her new shop (a bar to find love).

Wolfram says he will refuse because of the bunny ears, because Yuuri hates rabbits (the mascot of Seibu Lions opposite team is an orange rabbit). Cherie mentions Wolfram used to love rabbits as a kid, because cats grabbed the attention of Gwen, and that they need Wolfram's help to cure Yuuri's rabbit-hate. (Yuuri is thinking he doesn't hate rabbits just that mascot from that team).

Yuuri calls Wolfram 'Honey-chan', and Wolfram gets angry and tells him that because he's younger he doesn't have a right to call him that. (Yuuri monologues that 'it hurt him to have Wolf remind him he is younger’)

When Yuuri mentions the lost item made by Greta, Cherie-sama remembers the 'pig soap' that Wolfram made for her. To which Wolfram mentions that it wasn't a pig, it was, of course, Cherie-sama herself. XD Cherie sama goes speechless due to the shock and Yuuri pulls Wolfram by the hand, and trots away from that place; so that he wouldn't see them fight.

Wolfram and Yuuri are alone again, and when Yuuri reveals he needs the necklace because he's going with Greta to the zoo the next day, Wolfram starts unbuttoning his shirt.

Yuuri panics saying he shouldn't be exposing his skin , people could see him ! What if some younger girl saw his bare exposed chest!  Yuuri is making a huge scene as if Wolfram were undressing. He seems jealous that someone might steal a glimpse of his beautiful chest.

At any rate, Wolfram shows him a necklace, just like Yuuri's. So it turns out that Greta made the same necklace for all 3 people in the family, Wolf, Yuuri and herself. Yuuri also notices that the stone used in all 3 are the color of Wolfram's eyes.

Wolfram says he will lend it to Yuuri for the zoo trip.

Important scene:

Yuuri holds Wolfram's necklace still around Wolf's neck with both hands, and then pushes it against Wolfram's chest.

And says he can't accept borrowing it.

Wolfram asks why, wouldn't you do the same for me, if I needed something and you had it.

Yuuri says: "Of course I would."

At this moment, Yuuri has both his hands on Wolfram's bare chest. He goes into a monologue about how anyone would get 'blood rushing' to their brain, if they had both hands on their partner's bare chest, feeling how their heartbeat is the same as their own, and were thinking about something serious. He's overwhelmed and needs to take a moment.

Then he says:" when it comes to things that I can give you, I would give you anything, Wolf. But this is different. Because it's a handmade item. I'm sure that the shape of the stone is slightly different."

--------------------------------------------------- Important scene analysis: This scene is huge. Let’s analyze:

Yuuri: 1) Has both hands on Wolfram's bare chest 2) Gets blood rushing to his brain (to be taken literal and/or a symbolism for arousal) 3) feels Wolfram's heartbeat beating at the same rhythm as his own (symbolism for being in sync, one person, in love) 4) is thinking about everything he would "do" 5) says he's thinking about "something serious"

He's overwhelmed. Can't function. He takes a while to calm down and when he does, he tells Wolfram that "When it comes to things he can 'give him' he would give him anything."

Do you remember the 5 last points? Touching Wolf, aroused, in love, thinking about Wolf, and a "serious matter".

The undertone here is that 'anything' is referring to his virginity.

There was a time in novel 2, when he thought he was going to 'lose " his virginity to Wolf. But here, he's very clear when he says, he would 'give' it to him. It's those little things in the stories that brings back a memory of past things that happened and wraps them up with a little bow.

It's such a good scene. And although it has this sexual undertone, I like to see it more for the theme of 'sacrifice'.

He loves Wolf so much there is nothing he wouldn't give to Wolf. His virginity is cool, but what about his life? Is he thinking about that? If he's thinking about everything he would give to him, and this overwhelmed him. Is he thinking about that too?

I mean, who hasn't thought of that? What would you do for a loved one? How far would you go? And here Yuuri says it clearly to Wolfram, he would give him anything.

Second part Gwendal is trying to find Yuuri because he found out about the lost item and thinks it can cause an international problem. The rumors have exaggerated what happened. Conrad also shows up, and Wolfram tells Yuuri to escape. Conrad follows him and Wolf stays there to stop Gwendal.

Yuuri sees Wolf as the bravest man alive, then this scene happens:

---------------------- Interesting scene: Wolfram: "Don't worry! It is a husband's job to rub their henachoko wife's ass!"

Yuuri: "Wait isn't it, maybe, "It is a wife's job to wipe her husband's ass" ? Yeah, maybe. No, I mean, I'm sure."

Conrad: "Eh? You're letting him call you henachoko? How generous. Well, then let us rely on Lord von Bielefeld's words"

------------------------ Analysis of this scene: Preamble: Before we get into it-> Because Japan has like a 4000 year old culture, and the 'couples' terms are always 'female' and 'male', we see a lot of 'wife' and 'husband' even between two males. Some may read into it (the top/bottom stereotype from the 90s), and I will analyze it too, but there's also a lot about 'kanjis' having certain associations that don't really fit the gender of same sex partners.

Analysis:

1) Wolfram makes a joke about rubbing Yuuri's ass (and asserts he's the husband and it's his duty)

2) Yuuri says the proverb is incorrect and "Isn't it "it's the wife's duty to wipes her husband ass?" But then he says maybe I don't know, I'm not sure.

3) Conrad is only surprised at the lack of complain of "henachoko", and not all the other married couple/sexual innuendos they've been throwing at each other.

This is the Conrad I love. He's so supportive of Yuuri and Wolf. He could have said something like "Wait, how long have you been married?" and make them both self conscious, but he didn't.  Conrad is great, and I love him and he deserves all the best. I'm a yuuram fan, but I love Conrad. He's an awesome character and a sweety. He's been through so much and I feel sorry for everything he's been put through, simply because the fans forced Takabayashi sensei to bring him back from the dead. (Additional info: Conrad was supposed to die in novel 5 and Takabayashi sensei spent many years trying to kill him after that, but the 'Conrad' fans didn't let her. This has lead to Conrad just 'floating around' in the novels... she was so angry she even made him the enemy for a while)

About the proverb: I couldn't find the actual proverb Wolf and Yuuri are talking about. The internet says two things: 1) it's a wife's duty to cut her husband's ear hair, and 2) it's a wife's duty to take care of her husband's arousal. Now I have no clue whether either of them are old sayings ... I simply couldn't find it.

But here's my interpretation. 1) Wolf says it's his duty to protect Yuuri as the husband 2) Yuuri says isn't that the wife's role? and in the end he's confused about the proverb. I think Takabayashi-sensei is 1, throwing sexual innuendos as usual here, and 2 is bringing ambiguity to the whole top/bottom stereotype. "Is he the top? Am I? I don't know", is what Yuuri says about this.

I think, as mentioned before, sensei addresses the top/bottom topic (because it's actually very uncommon not to bring it up), and says : yeah whatever, who cares.

Third part : Yuuri has a scene with Conrad, where he realizes that his necklace was shorter than Wolf’s so that both, the blue maseki and the emerald necklace Greta made, won’t become entangled. Yuuri is moved thinking that Greta even thought about that.

They find the necklace Yuuri lost, and this part ends with:

"Things will always return to the place they should be."

This makes me happy. It makes me think that Yuuri will always be back to Shin Makoku no matter what. I hope that Takabayashi-sensei sticks to her words.

And there’s another clear meaning: Conrad (blue maseki) and Wolf (the emerald necklace) will not entangle and cause problems. Conrad will continue to be the friend, and Wolf will continue to be the spouse, and the ‘necklaces’ won’t disturb one another. Another very important symbolism. Everyone has their place and role, and won’t mix, entangle or bother Yuuri.

Last part:

The end of the story goes back to the main story in Misepan 1. So Yuuri is there with the chick looking for her bf’s ring. An old dude sees them, then the three find a bag full of gold in the river and they appear on TV.

In the end, Yuuri gets shown panties "mise pan" by the old dude. And the story wraps itself with a joke.

In the afterword Takabayashi sensei admits she didn't know how to end the story. This means, for what I can understand, that she just wanted to talk about the royal family necklace and Yuuri and Wolf, while finishing up a story he had to finish for the DVD set.

The main reasons why I love this story :

1) There’s a new canon yuuram trope:" the family necklace”. This necklace is the color of Wolfram’s eyes. Greta was the one to chose it, too. She could have chosen ‘black’, the royal color and the color of Yuuri’s hair and eyes (that everyone loves in Shin Makoku), but instead she chose the color of Wolf’s eyes. I feel this is a symbolism Takabayashi sensei threw in there to make sure everyone understands it’s not Yuuri and Greta anymore, Wolfram is 100% part of that family, and it’s his color that binds the family together.

2) Yuuri’s line: “When it comes to things that I can give you I would give you anything Wolf”. As analyzed before, this is the ultimate expression of love, and he has said it clearly to Wolfram out in the open.

3) Yuuri and Wolf as established as a couple as they can be, not only between themselves, but also by others. Out in the open they’re calling each other husband and wife (in front of Dacascos and Conrad), and no one even questions this. Meaning it’s been a long time since people have known them as such.

4) Yuuri calling Wolfram Honey-chan (and Wolfram getting angry due to cultural misunderstandings)

Anyway, it’s a really great story! Please read it!

Yuuram in Novel 3

Because yuuram is life I hereby present you with a list of yuuram moments in the novels. This time novel 3.

-Another Yuuram reunion-

The one who barged in was the angel-like bishounen, Wolfram von Bielefeld. He stopped dead in the hallway upon seeing my naked torso, and seemed to be at a loss for words, his cute face flustered.

“Yuuri… my God! Your face and arms … So dark! Have you caught a terrible disease? Or a curse?”

“Are you looking for a fight?” I sulked.

In fact, my face and my arms were well-tanned, but my torso and legs were still white as snow. For baseball players, having this shirt-like tan would be considered an achievement, but when my upper body was exposed like this, it was indeed not the best look.

With the thumb and forefinger, Wolfram pinched my cheek.

“Ow-ow-aie-ooh-aie!! What do you think you’re doing?”

- Yuuri introducing Wolfram -

Wolfram was a rival-less super bishounen, like a Vienna choir boy who had jumped straight out of a shoujo manga. He had inherited his mother’s shiny golden hair and her emerald green eyes. While his build was no better or worse than mine, the difference between our looks was as wide as the gap between heaven and earth. I imagined all artists in the world would fight over the chance to paint his portrait. If he had appeared in someone’s dream, the dreamer might even be moved to tears thinking they had seen an angel.

However, he was angel-like only as long as he kept his mouth shut. Else he was just a terribly spoiled and bratty prince. As he claimed, and if one could believe his words, he was already eighty-two years old. If he was living in Japan, he would be a stubborn old man. And because of a small tiny minor cultural difference, we are engaged to each other.

“The Mateki?!”

Wolfram who was strangely brushing the limit of my suntan, stepped into our conversation excitedly. As expected from a Vienna Boys Choir singer, the tone of his voice would even be a little annoying for Mozart.

“I’ve only heard the stories about it from my father, but he said that the sound of the flute is fantastic! It can make the sky roar and the earth shake. Its sound can conjure a loud storm, that would make you cower!”

“C-cows go?”

“Cows go mosa mosa.”

“I’m dying of heat!” I complained.

Wolfram was obviously enjoying the situation.

Yes, thanks. Very funny. If only it had been a girl who was sitting in front of me, then I would have had my fun. Like a charming gentleman, I would have steadied her, with the reins held in my hands. Sadly for me, the front seat was occupied by a bishounen lovelier than a girl.

“What about Wolfram?! He fell in front of me into the sand! But he won’t die, right?!” I cried and wailed.

“If he was unlucky…” Gwendal said above me. (…)

“Your Majesty, Wolfram would agree with me immediately. He is also a grownup warrior and knows that things like this can happen. Your safety comes first!”(…)

By now, there was no visible trace of the soldiers who had been swallowed by the sand vortex. Would they pass off falling into such a land hole as a matter of bad luck? Just imagining the honey blond hair and brilliant emerald green eyes frozen with terror, hurt my chest; I couldn’t breathe.(…)

“Conrad, I don’t want you to be someone who abandon his own brother.” I finally said. (…)

“You’ve said that you would only follow my orders.” I said.

“Yes, but that was…”

-Wolfram’s reaction to hearing that Yuuri and Gwendal had eloped-

“Then you are the younger brother, whose fiancé has run off with your own elder brother?”

“What are you saying?”

In an instant, Wolfram’s face had turned visibly red even in the pale moonlight. At the same time, steam seemed to be rising from his head.

“Conrad, what does that mean?” He yelled. “My brother and Yuuri! This cannot be true! I knew it! That cheater! ”

“Wolfram, calm down. It is certainly not what it looks like.”

“But yes, the two are surely a couple,” the girl said. “I’ve seen them with my own eyes. The poor guys were on the run. They were chained together with handcuffs.”

“Chained together?”

It had to be boiling water inside Wolfram’s head.

The Lord Betrothed has gone completely out of his mind with fury and was by then torturing an innocent garbage can with his feet. Conrad decided to let Wolfram vent his rage. He turned around and put a hand on the shoulder of the girl who was about to break out in tears.

-Yuuri hearing wedding music as he sleeps on Wolfram’s lap; wakes up to Wolfram’s hair in the moonlight which he thinks ‘is beautiful’ (the moon looks beautiful tonight trope?) ; Yuuri ’s mantra -

In the meantime, the melodies of “The blue Danube” by Johann Strauss kept playing in my head. And it was not the full-scale version performed by an orchestra, but the cheap version the like of a call center’s hold tone.

“What …” I mumbled.

The first thing that I could see was thick golden strands shimmering in the moonlight. I didn’t even have time to think 'It’s beautiful’, when I heard someone scolding me.

“Why do you always do this?”

“Wolf?”

“What?”

“Wa…Water…”

“Ouch… Stop it! I’m drowning, I’m really drowning here. Please forgive me!”

“Do you know how worried I was about you?”

Angering a bishounen, even if one was not at fault, would result in painful consequences. At the same time, I felt tremendous guilt since it was indeed my own impulsive action that caused trouble to everyone.

As if that weren’t enough, I had to lay down across two seats, my head softly cushioned on the thigh of Lord Bielefeld!

“Does my pillow have to be a man’s lap, of all things?!” I wailed.

“Every time you do some huge magic, you sleep for two to three days,” declared Wolfram, unmoved.

“This time you only slept two hours. And after such a formidable performance, too. Please be so kind as to stay right where you are. You need your rest.”

“All right, all right! But why the heck does it have to be with you as my pillow!?”

“Doesn’t it make you happy?”

“Do I look like I’m happy?!”

“Oh, you two are truly one heart and one soul,” sighed Nicola with shining eyes.

-This chapter is just all yuuram-

“Yuuri, I never would have thought that you are capable of such a bold initiative,” Wolfram said in surprise after I decided to knock on his door.

The delicate pretty boy did not know what to make of the whole thing. He tilted his head to one side and, his lips slightly open, waiting in silence for an explanation.

“I just want you to have a bath with me. If you feel embarrassed, you can keep your swim trunks on,” I said.

“If it’s just the two of us then there’s nothing to be embarrassed about, but… ”

“Then let’s go! I’m in a hurry! A towel and a pair of trunks would be enough!”

In a corner of his room, Wolfram was busy digging for some strange object. Was he looking for a rubber duck to take with us?

I pulled the broadly grinning Wolfram, and head towards the familiar royal bathroom.

-Definitely foreplay-

“Can you push me into the pool?”

“What?”

“Come on now,” I grumbled.

“What kind of foreplay is this?”

Wolfram pushed me into the water, but I immediately resurfaced.

“I don’t understand,” I muttered. “Hey, what are you doing?! Did I tell you to jump in too?!”

Wolfram emerged again, his blond hair totally soaked. The image was like the scene of an angel bathing. Luckily he had kept his clothes on, just like me. With two strokes, he swam over to me.

“Why did you dive in? I only wanted you to push me.”

He wrapped his pale arms around my neck.

“Don’t hug me!”

“Didn’t you want to try a totally new way of doing it?”

“Way of doing it…? Wolfram, you were expecting to do something naughty, weren’t you!?”

Even though I was completely desperate, my partner was shamelessly indulging in his own happy fantasies. I hung my head and swallowed my growing anger. In another attempt, I put my feet firmly on the bathtub floor, and slowly stretched my knees.

- He did actually use Wolf this time, bad Yuuri -

“I can’t go back, to my home, to earth, to Japan!” I cried angrily.

“I thought it would be just like last time, I could return through the bathroom again. But no matter what I did, nothing happened at all! I thought if I was forced into a corner, I would enter the star journey to escape from danger… But even when you pushed me into the water, still nothing happened.”

“What?”

“Wolf… why is that grimace?”

Numerous creases gathered above his nose and between his eyebrows. The ex-prince lifted his chin and pulled his shoulders back.

“You used me for this small thing?”

“It’s not a small thing! This is incredibly important for me, don’t you understand that much?”

“You are now the king of this country, you can’t run around anymore! You’ve got to stay here. Yuuri, your home is this castle! And that’s forever!”

Every time this bishounen scolded me, I would feel the numerous wounds his words caused. As hard as it was to accept, Wolfram was probably right. My diving attempts were pointless. But what other choice did I have? I had never thought that I could never see Japan again.

-Yup, he’s angry-

“You’re unbelievably dim-witted,” Wolfram groaned and brushed his wet bang back from his forehead.

His seemingly arrogant green eyes stared at me fiercely. He really does have an angel’s face, but his words draw blood with each syllable.

“You belong to this world. You cannot escape, your soul is at home here.”
