°There's a shock, a horror, then blind panic. CJ attempts to pull, to rip at the wisps and scramble away, terror finally really flooding his veins. He didn't know what the absolute **** was happening, but for the second time in not that long a span he didn't really want to find out. It wasn't exactly as important as getting away from here like the house was on fire, which honestly might not have been as bad.°

°Alright.... Really, thank you Doc.°

*Knocks on the door, a bunch of stuff in hand* CJ?

°*there’s the sounds of several locks being undone before the door opens. He’s there, and looking more than a little exhausted* Doc? Yeah come in he is in the living room- *he moves to leave a clear path, walking over to the matress on the floor*°

Light spilled softly through the windows, illuminating the house. Books lay abandoned on the coffee table, a computer left opened showed a map of some sort of forest. The room was realatively quiet, but one could hear chatter coming from the kitchen.

RJ had woken up in the mood for cookies, fresh ones at that. With nothing to stop him or an excuse to not make them, he got to work. When NJ had made his way into the kitchen- only to find RJ semi-gently whacking a bag of almonds- his ¶You could have just cut them?¶ was dismissed with a "This is more fun and it still works."

Fair enough, the Newscaster guesses.

He offered to help once he had some coffee, and the two brothers were nearly finished when CJ rolled in, hair still messy but rather pleased. Apparently he'd found a good 'spot' and could sort out almost everything by the evening. NJ had no idea what the Cameraman meant, but the Reporter grinned with a "Thanks Jim!" and CJ joined the other two in rolling out the cookie balls.

The three discussed the usual smalltalk subjects, and although it still felt a little stiff at first, it eventually turned into something less bland, and a little more tension bled away into the rhythm of making cookies and a 'who would win' discussion.

And by 'discussion' it's:

¶Sharktopus is two aquatic animals in one. They would have an even larger advantage in the water, and on an even playing field where size is /not/ a factor, they would win.¶

"I see your point, but hear this- Godzilla is not losing to a science experiment."

°Two words Jim. Atomic Breath.°

*Alright he's just- he's just going to go. With the plane landed and a hotel room sorted, the Newscaster sends a text. It's worded a little stiffly, but the reply of just °K° was maybe not the friendliest either.*

*NJ's foot maybe bounces in the car ride over, just a bit.*

*He's knocking, and CJ opens the door. The Cameraman's expression isn't the easiest to read, but after a moment, he seems to come to a conclusion. A small sigh, and CJ offers a small smile. NJ manages one back. The Newscaster enters, and it's not the most calm situation, but he's here, and a bit of back and forth between the twins in sign he can't follow has RJ offering him a similar small smile.*

*Maybe this wouldn't be so terrible after all.*

*His head felt like it had been hit by a truck, and there was both a weird fog and a jolting fear in his chest, but a groan escaped him and solidified it. He was awake... Mostly. What had he been dreaming about..? There was a magic show and there was rain... And alot of eyes....*

*Not important. What was probably important was how much his head and side hurt, he get hit by a bus?*

*He hear, something, like a small gasp, and he manages to turn his head a little. He squints, Jim- suddenly he's surrounded by a gentle but intense hug, if that made any sense. His arms feel like lead still, and even with it being gentle the hug still hurts- but it's home and he leans in.*

*It's CJ, it's Jim, it's ok.*

*The snake keeps slithering though the void.* Yσυɾ Ⴆσƚԋ ɠσιɳɠ ƚσ Ⴆҽ Ⴆɾαιɳɯαʂԋҽԃ, ʂσσɳ. ⏳

*it took a moment of shocked silence before anything happened, then-*

"Oh... No, no hey no, you can't do that I'm not doing this nO-! LET US OUT!!!"

*RJ attempts to pry the snake's jaws opened, looking a mixed of frightened and angry*

°CJ is now attempting to kick the snake, aiming his foot to connect with the right side of the snake's mouth. He hits harder than he seems like he would. Nobody is stealing his brother or him if he can do anything about it.°

((Camera Jim! Reporter Jim! You two and the admin are amazing!!! ~Mun))

"Thank you Mun! You're also amazing"

°He's smiling, a little bashful. That's sweet of you, thanks°
