Hmmm. As a sentient swarm of keese, I find news of sudden inexplicable monster death deeply disturbing.
Sorry for going missing without a trace guys, I got eaten by a frox on my last delivery run. It was not a pleasant experience.
Glory to Master Kohga.
The 6 main elements plus Void and Light I think
I know you've posted about this before but it's really impressive how you've been able to make all 8 elements visually distinct enough that you can always tell at a glance which one is being used and how. lots of magic systems just kinda devolve into DragonBall beam attacks after a while
Color coded for your convenience!
I’m in the Hollow Knight fandom and one of my favorite parts about being in it is how we all know who mossbag is, and his videos are always like special events for the whole fandom. It’s one of those things that really builds a sense of community.
i love how the stp fandom is more of a circle where everyone knows who everyone is and is like "omg this person posted"
overall so supportive 👍
The AI tech bubble finally bursting is going to be both catastrophic and very funny.
weirdest art trick i have is that sketching limbs is easier and neater if you slice em at the joints instead of using those little circles
This is now the only correct reading of that acronym
The conversations about accountability & apologies that we've been having in social justice circles these last few years have basically trained everybody to fawn.
We've been telling people that if they are accused of any wrongdoing or of hurting anybody's feelings, it is their obligation to apologize immediately, and never to hedge, disagree, or to explain their rationale what they've done.
In their apology, we expect them to articulate every single thing that they have done that was damaging in the strongest language possible and to declare outright that they have harmed someone, often multiple groups of people, even if they are not sure of the impact (or could not even possibly be sure).
If a person's apology is anything but immediate and entirely self-excoriating, we accuse the person of downplaying the damage they have done, failing to be accountable, and manipulating others.
In this way, we've made it impossible for a person to ever take their own side lest that be taken itself as a form of wrongdoing. We have trained our fellow social-justice-minded people to believe that if they do anything but worsen the case against themselves, they are being irresponsible.
I say we, in all of this, because I have partaken in all of this rhetoric, made these kinds of criticism, given accused people this type of advice.
And I have followed it myself, often to a damaging effect.
I have taken responsibility for problems in which I truly did not believe I played a part, I've overstated the damage that I've done so as not to risk understating it, I've ascribed malice to my intentions when I knew it wasn't there, I've agreed with people's most negative, bad-faith narratives about conflicts involving me that they were not even present for, offered up information about myself that was not a third party's business in the name of transparency, apologized for things I haven't done -- and in doing all of this, I have denied my loved ones the opportunity to really hear me about what I was going through and my motivations when I was in conflict with them, things that any true friend or close associate would obviously want to hear about if they cared about me.
This aim of giving the perfect apology and taking perfect accountability has been nothing but an isolating force in my life, because it has barred me from openly entering into necessary conflict with people when our needs were incompatible or they had hurt me just as much as I'd hurt them. The fear of being a manipulative, unaccountable DARVO-er has led me to roll onto my back and expose my belly, falling over myself with panicked apologies and the most unflattering information possible cast in the least explicable light, almost outright begging for others to become angrier at me and believing that it was only way I could ever possibly be accepted back.
We've drilled into people that the way to be good and responsible is to allow people to view us as negatively as possible, to even arm others with information that will confirm that point of view, and to never insert our own perspective or needs on the matter at all.
And yeah, there are a lot of shitty people out there who dodge accountability easily because their power ensconces them from any consequences. but the primary problem with that was never that they wrote a shitty notesapp apology that used the unforgivable phrase "I am sorry if you felt XYZ." The real problem was that there was no community that held enough influence to hold them to account, and for their victims there weren't ever adequate supports or protections.
instead of addressing any of that in a remotely systematic way, we have taken to picking apart every accused person's every word and deed for evidence of inner moral failure and created a culture in which we think we can determine a person's safety by how artfully they put words together when they are under threat. and what do you know, plenty of bad faith actors and conflict avoidant cowards and people who just dont understand what they are even being accused of can do that just fine.
This is attention to details man
Ganon holds a bow straight while Link holds it at an angle.
Ganon also draws the bow like a samurai, (since this Ganon is more samurai like) he positions/aim the bow then draws.
(Not shown here) Even if Link uses a long bow like Ganon he will still aim at an angle since he is a soldier. He positions/aim the bow and draws at the same time.
The bow Ganon uses will recoil meaning this is a heavy bow. (They didnt need to add that detail in, but they did man)
List of random Headcanons/Ideas!
Post-Sonic Frontiers edition!
Starting off with Sonic:
After Sonic Frontiers I don’t think much will change for Sonic. He’s still gonna live life free as the wind, stop Eggman’s plans, and enjoy a nice chilidog after a hard days work.
I like to think Sonic will take over guarding the Master Emerald while Knuckles is out adventuring and treasure hunting. He doesn’t stay on the island 24/7, but at the end of the day he always makes sure he’s on Angel Island.
Sonic does, in fact, become the ultimate chao dad while staying on Angel Island.
He keeps in contact with his traveling friends through letters. Amy consistently writes weekly, Tails writes every other week, and Knuckles is completely inconsistent with his letters.
Sonic and Rouge have a bit of a truce going on so she won’t steal the Master Emerald. All she asks in return is to be allowed to hold onto the chaos emerald until Sonic needs them.
Sonic finds himself spending more time with his other friends, which he enjoys.
When he finds out Eggman restored Sage he starts relentlessly teasing him about being a dad. Eggman once retorted by mentioning Sonics lack of a father. Sonic no longer teases Eggman about being a dad.
Moving onto Tails:
As soon as he can, Tails sets off on his journey/adventure. At first he is very nervous, and is not used to not having someone to fall back on.
Tails ends up having his own enemy, one that isn’t Eggman. I like to think it would be a villain that uses magic, like Witch Cart. Why a magic villain? Well it would provide a nice contrast in their dynamic, technology vs magic, similar to Eggman and Sonic’s dynamic, Technology vs Nature- jk I just want an excuse for Tails to learn magic.
The first time Tails see’s himself on a newspaper with the header “Sonics sidekick turned hero?!” He immediately buys one and sends it to Sonic.
Tails took the Tornado in the divorce-
On one singular occasion Tails has to go to his home island to continue to fight his villain. He definitely got funny looks, but he didn’t let them get to him. He would later write a very long letter to Sonic about the experience.
Tails doesn’t realize how much he’s grown during his adventure until he meets back up with everyone after a few years have passed. Having to look down to see Sonic was a jarring experience.
There was an instance during one of his adventures where he crossed paths with Knuckles. They got brunch and chatted a bit. Knuckles offered to help Tails with his adventure but Tails declined the offer.
Give Tails a solo game Sega please I beg of you-
Knock knock its Knuckles:
Knuckles was very hesitant to leave Angel Island and the Master Emerald in Sonics hands at first. Sonic had to practically throw him off the island for him to get going.
One of the first souvenirs Knuckles needs to get on his travels is his hat. I don’t make the rules it just be like that.
Knuckles is pretty well know across the world thanks to his role as leader of the Resistance back in Sonic Forces. It’s always a fun surprise when he comes across an old rookie.
Knuckles doesn’t start off treasure hunting right away, he actually starts off as a simple traveler searching for and explore ancient ruins. It’s the maps and clues he finds in the ruins that leads him down the path of a treasure hunter.
Maybe Knuckles can meet/reunite with Mighty and Ray 👉👈
With Knuckles spending most of his time traveling in nature he doesn’t get to send letters to Sonic as consistently as he’d like, but when he does he makes sure to make the letter as details as he can.
Anytime he hears news of Eggman attacking he’ll check it out, just to make sure the Master Emerald isn’t involved.
Last but not least, Amy Rose!
Amy, all packed up with Sticks and Cream, head out on their road trip around the world. Their goal, to spread their love with the world!
With Amy’s trip all planned out she’s able to consistently write to Sonic weekly to tell him all about her doings.
Amy does a lot during her trip, organizing fundraisers, stopping some troublemakers, and doing tarot card readings (Give us Sonic themed tarot cards Sega please-)
She would definitely start small operations where she cooks big meals and anyone is welcome to come by to eat.
I feel like Amy would, similarly to Knuckles, be pretty well known worldwide because of her role in the resistance.
I think out of everyone she could come across in her travels, she’d end up meeting up with Shadow. Since the Twitter Takeovers are canon to me and you can’t tell me otherwise, I think he would join her little road-trip and bring up the whole “cat orphanage for all the stray cats of the world” idea. She would absolutely love the idea.
Yes Amy would most definitely play matchmaker a few times while on her road trip. She’ll say she only did it two or three times; Sticks, Cream, and Shadow will say she’s done it at least thirty times.
