How do Ignans comfortably live in the desert at night when the temperatures drop extremely low? I’m assuming that their homes at least have some type of night time heating, but how screwed would they be without it?

It's more like mud. Won't kill you, will mess up your clothes; kids like playing with it. Can be sculpted into fun shapes if you're skilled!
It's also only Volcano Ignans who can be this cavalier about it. Even Desert Ignans find lava very uncomfortable and mostly stay outside of volcanos, although it's still orders of magnitude less dangerous for them than an uninfluenced human.

Heyy, sorry if I'm missing something very obvious but I don't fully understand what Tess is doing on page 4.18. Is she carving a stone spell into the ceiling with her lightning to get VoidErin to fall to the ground? Because in that case I thought she'd have to use a stone lacrima. Or is she just carving a lightning spell and using it to magnetize Erin to the ground, and the sound effect's color being a blend of lightning and stone is because both magics are at play simultaneously?
The breakdown is as follows:
Step 1: Shape lightning into runes for a Sealing spell.
Step 2: shoot that shit at the ceiling
Void Dragon has already started releasing his hold on Erin at this point, convinced by Tess's argument that he needs her to stop Erin's uncontrolled magic and she won't do it if he doesn't bail. The magic isn't knocking Erin over, he's falling because the Dragon isn't holding him up anymore.
Step 3: Spell brands itself into the rock. No stone magic is required for this, although it would have made things easier for Tess - she's essentially using the lightning to break the rock in extremely precise patterns to spell the runes.
Sealing spells repel all forms of elemental energy, so this breaks the loop on Erin's uncontrolled channeling.
I’m pretty sure that Australians don’t have more then maybe 30-50k MAX people on tumblr. Like American had some 30 million users in 2020 (aka basically probably peak over the last 7 2018-2025) while Australia only has 26-28million people depending on who you ask (27 to be safe) so I’m just genuinely curious how many of us there must be on here.

Nah, I like Fahrenheit for the same reason that I like metric, nice, clean cut factors of 10. And yes, it is better for the human experience. Of course people from different areas experience temperature differently, but not so differently that 100 degrees Celsius is just “working up quite a sweat” to any human alive. The whole 0-100 scale is usable in Fahrenheit, with Celsius, you’re pushing it as soon as you get to 50. The one thing I like about Celsius is 0 being the freezing point, Fahrenheit having the freezing point at 32 isn’t exactly intuitive and I don’t need to have been raised with Celsius to see that. I also don’t need to have been raised with Metric to know it’s better for measurements than the Imperial units I grew up with.
Fahrenheit’s better. I’d preface that, and this whole comment, with how it’s just my opinion and all, but frankly I don’t feel the need to be polite when the first and only thing I’ve read from you is you being so pissy with people like me for something so minor as what fucking temperature scale I prefer

If the spirits had shown him dead and ungrieved only it would not work. As the night goes on amid the visits Scrooge is already visibly changing. He's different after the first spirit and even more so after the second. And it's because of how much he's already changed that the final spirit is able to succeed

Theory and long convoluted rambles under the cut
So, for context, i follow the headcanon that Sans, Papyrus, and Gaster all are related in some way. I won’t go into detail with that, it’s just the only way to explain some of these discord screenshots.
Entry #17 from the true lab is also important here, and i translated the whole thing because that makes this nice and easy. For those who don’t know, it reads:
“entry number seventeen.
dark darker yet darker.
the darkness keeps growing
the shadows cutting deeper
photon readings negative
this next experiment
seems
very
very
interesting
...
what do you two think?”
(This is actually written in all caps in the entry but i didn’t type it that way so whatever)
NOW. Crazy thoughts time. First off; the next experiment mentioned. What if that’s the roaring? This is a bit of a stretch but… well, to me, Gaster feels like something thats separated from the game. They can’t totally interact with it, just influence bits and pieces. And his question at the end, “what do you two think?” I’ve seen some theories about the two being Sans and Papyrus, but they seem a little far fetched… not that mine isn’t, of course, as i believe they’re talking to Jevil and Spamton. And this is why i think Gaster is Mike.
Below are screenshots of my original thoughts on this.
Now, i do admit, i hyperfixated on Gaster because i found them interesting, and canon may have blended a bit with my fanon, but i’ll try to keep it as unbiased as possible here. I believe the “next experiment” is the roaring because in the entry, they state that “the darkness keeps growing / the shadows cutting deeper / photon readings negative” (for non-sciencey people, photon readings being negative could mean a complete lack of any light OR the opposite of light/negative light). These all point to, well, darkness, “dark darker yet darker” after-all. And what’s in deltarune? Dark worlds. Boom, theres the simple theory.
Now, why is Gaster experimenting with the dark worlds and roaring? Possibly because he’s trying to merge Deltarune, the game, with the real world. Think about the in-game explanation of the roaring:
“When the LIGHT is subsumed by SHADOW
When the FOUNTAINS fill the sky
All will fall into CHAOS.
The TITANS will take form from the FOUNTAINS
And envelop the land in devastation.
The surviving Darkners, crushed by the darkness
Will slowly, one by one, turn into statues...
Leaving the Lightners to fend for themselves
Lost eternally in an endless night...”
It mentions Titans. Who could the Titans be? Us, of course. We see the characters as, well, characters. Fun toys to be played with and explored. If all the Darkners turn into statues, they will be dolls for the Titans to play with.
So what if Gaster is trying to bring upon the roaring, but is also trying to bring Darkners here, alive? Hence the manipulation of Jevil and Spamton. That’s their experiment. Can they merge our worlds while bringing those who were previously only code to life?
Now, of course, this is all fun video game stuff that can’t happen, but it’s fun to think about.

This is a fascinating read that does not tell you what you should make of the author's observations:
Interactions with [charismatic people] come with the least number of strings attached. It feels like they are just having fun, lightly playing with possibilities. They are not holding love hostage when you don't act in accordance with their desires. They respect your autonomy and intuition. They approach your presence with gratitude, but don't demand you stay forever. There is no hint of scarcity. They live in the realm of what is possible and abundant. There is little tension in their attentional field. Because they are in a fluid and spacious yet highly receptive and responsive state, they can meet you exactly where you are and entertain whatever comes up. They can flirt, joke around, dream, and love without restraint. They are not afraid of what happens, because no matter what happens, they know it will be fundamentally okay. I've noticed they don't leave what feels like a sticky "trace" after they are gone. I certainly remember them more vividly and am more deeply touched by them than others, but it lacks the feeling of molasses. This impression of sticky traces is very personal so I should probably illustrate what I mean with examples: I get the sticky traces when people guilt me, are passive aggressive, pedestalize me, ask things of me I don't believe are what they truly want and if I gave it to them anyway it's like feeding a hungry ghost. Every interaction with them feels like they are saying, "please love me" or "please make me feel okay" or "please give me a chance" or "I need you." This makes engaging with them complicated, not because I don't care about them, but because engaging with them is a bit of a foolish game where it won't really get you what you want and will also hurt me in the process, and this keeps me from wanting to get close. I can tell they have a series of tough knots, and they are haunted by them, but I cannot unknot it for them. I can only watch compassionately and try to point them to how they can unknot themselves, and also be present to the stickiness, because it is there. The stickiness accumulates like gunk that I then have to meditate, journal about, or otherwise process. It solidifies and reifies experience, convincing us the set of infinite possibilities is anything but infinite and boundless. It suffocates. Charismatic people are like empty vessels. They receive and pass on sensations without resistance. They are usually the one with the most regulated nervous system in the room, which allows them to encounter other people's ego/attentional structures and dance with them no matter what the exact configuration is, which is why charismatic people are charismatic to a wide variety of people—they literally fit better together with people in general! Contrast this with someone who has very rigid expectations or ideas of what kind of experience they *should* be having and fighting off what is arising if it conflicts with what they want. If a person with a very particular and rigid structure encounters a wide swath of people, the percentage of people their shape "fits" well with is a lot slimmer.
The conversations about accountability & apologies that we've been having in social justice circles these last few years have basically trained everybody to fawn.
We've been telling people that if they are accused of any wrongdoing or of hurting anybody's feelings, it is their obligation to apologize immediately, and never to hedge, disagree, or to explain their rationale what they've done.
In their apology, we expect them to articulate every single thing that they have done that was damaging in the strongest language possible and to declare outright that they have harmed someone, often multiple groups of people, even if they are not sure of the impact (or could not even possibly be sure).
If a person's apology is anything but immediate and entirely self-excoriating, we accuse the person of downplaying the damage they have done, failing to be accountable, and manipulating others.
In this way, we've made it impossible for a person to ever take their own side lest that be taken itself as a form of wrongdoing. We have trained our fellow social-justice-minded people to believe that if they do anything but worsen the case against themselves, they are being irresponsible.
I say we, in all of this, because I have partaken in all of this rhetoric, made these kinds of criticism, given accused people this type of advice.
And I have followed it myself, often to a damaging effect.
I have taken responsibility for problems in which I truly did not believe I played a part, I've overstated the damage that I've done so as not to risk understating it, I've ascribed malice to my intentions when I knew it wasn't there, I've agreed with people's most negative, bad-faith narratives about conflicts involving me that they were not even present for, offered up information about myself that was not a third party's business in the name of transparency, apologized for things I haven't done -- and in doing all of this, I have denied my loved ones the opportunity to really hear me about what I was going through and my motivations when I was in conflict with them, things that any true friend or close associate would obviously want to hear about if they cared about me.
This aim of giving the perfect apology and taking perfect accountability has been nothing but an isolating force in my life, because it has barred me from openly entering into necessary conflict with people when our needs were incompatible or they had hurt me just as much as I'd hurt them. The fear of being a manipulative, unaccountable DARVO-er has led me to roll onto my back and expose my belly, falling over myself with panicked apologies and the most unflattering information possible cast in the least explicable light, almost outright begging for others to become angrier at me and believing that it was only way I could ever possibly be accepted back.
We've drilled into people that the way to be good and responsible is to allow people to view us as negatively as possible, to even arm others with information that will confirm that point of view, and to never insert our own perspective or needs on the matter at all.
And yeah, there are a lot of shitty people out there who dodge accountability easily because their power ensconces them from any consequences. but the primary problem with that was never that they wrote a shitty notesapp apology that used the unforgivable phrase "I am sorry if you felt XYZ." The real problem was that there was no community that held enough influence to hold them to account, and for their victims there weren't ever adequate supports or protections.
instead of addressing any of that in a remotely systematic way, we have taken to picking apart every accused person's every word and deed for evidence of inner moral failure and created a culture in which we think we can determine a person's safety by how artfully they put words together when they are under threat. and what do you know, plenty of bad faith actors and conflict avoidant cowards and people who just dont understand what they are even being accused of can do that just fine.

Each of the glasses is called a hypostasis. God can emanate through many hypostases to reach it's final emanation.
As for how many hypostases there are, and how they're arranged, that's the tricky one. Every religion has a different answer, and it's never simple.
