i would hope so. then again it took the longest time for me to convince my dad to get rid of his iphone 5. he was stuck to that thing like glue. this is why you are among one of the very few artist in this world who deserve to be famous. you care about everyone above the money and the ticket sales, and it definitely shows. i wish there was a way to group everyone into the same room. i know people wouldn't mind standing shoulder to shoulder for a chance to watch you perform. stop— you are so cute! to have a hug from the legend herself would cure all of my seasonal depression. that is so kind of you. i would definitely love to bring her along, and i'm sure she'd more than thankful to be anywhere. she's not a hard woman to please, even if she does hate crowds. i knew you were cool, and the fact that you love jazz and blues just cements that. i grew up on it too, mainly because of my dad, so he'd be pretty excited to know that others feel the same way. he's convinced that old school is dead, but it's very much alive, and you can see it in a lot of newer music these days. wait until he finds out you know of his band. my apologies in advance if he tries to persuade you to let them open for you. tell me about it. the 80's was such a great era, and i'm so sad i wasn't born during that time.

Thankfully, I think most of us are beyond the age of 3G in the so-called free world. It's hard to say what is and isn't happening beyond closed doors, what with the amount of NDAs that we all have to sign, but hopefully we'll turn a corner where people feel they're being treated more fairly in the ticket queue. I wish I could fit all of my little monsters into the one room, arena, stadium – whatever. !!!!! Oh my goodness, that's so exciting. Let me know if it happens and we can finally hug in person and you can let me know if the show lives up to the hype. i hope so. i have been fortunate enough to work with some really big names on these last few projects so i'm hoping that kind of helps toss my name into the pot of potential contenders. if not then i'll just keep pushing on until something happens. at least it gave me time to finish my first script. i've also wanted to move more to the behind the scenes stuff. i dipped my toe into the directing pool and i sort of fell in love with it. i love to hear that! i certainly cannot wait for season four. ted lasso is such a guilty pleasure show. i love that! you two always make me want to get a farm. i know i could never keep up, but the urge is there.

Well that's a shame. But you're right, such is the nature. I'm sure something will pop up soon, I'm banking on it. Lucky for me, I always have production projects on the go, even if I'm not actively working myself, I'm overseeing things and working on behind the scenes stuff, writing for other people. But aside from the brand new wife and the beautiful baby I'm currently in the midst of writing Ted Lasso season 4, getting things prepared for filming later in the year, and we've also started planning Big Slick and Thundergong. My broody hen has been hiding eggs from me so I became a grandrooster of three at some point in the last week The joys of living on a farm.

if i haven't said it lately, i love you guys so much. very lucky to have two of the brightest stars in the galaxy having my back. if you both want a date night you already know there are two tickets waiting for you at the premiere. maybe i can convince my other half to come with me for a visit. i'm gonna be in the UK for a little while so he can film, but i definitely want to make it out to see you guys very soon. i can imagine, but i bet you are doing such a wonderful job. that little bundle of joy is so lucky to have you as a mama. how are the cats taking the newest addition? are they being sassy about it? i've been good! life has been throwing me all these lovely little curve balls, and i'm very happy with where i am right now.
