i have never taken my career or the opportunities i've been given for granted. i know how lucky i am to have the jobs that i've been given. this business could chew you up and spit you out without a moments notice. right now it's still in the early stages. i believe we should start filming sometime later this year? fallout is such a beautiful masterpiece. i don't think they could have picked a better cast to bring such a wonderful game to life.

exactly what you should be doing. it's adorable how excited you are to be a part of the cast. any idea when you'll start filming or is it still in the early stages? that's exactly how i felt about fallout. such a wonderful story and cast that i'm just excited to have been included.

you won't screw things up, i promise. just apply all those cool uncle skills, and double it. your baby is going to be so loved, and you have a whole army of people behind you that are going to be there to help you, myself included. i plan to jump in and help as much as i can. it'll give me practice for my own kids one day.

alycia had gotten lost in a state of bliss. since their return from prague to the uk, she had been riding the high of her new found relationship with jamie. a part of her had always hoped they'd end up together. any sort of future she had ever seen for herself involved him, but he had always been out of reach. she never thought she'd be here, standing on the balcony of their suite over looking a city they were going to call home for the time being. she had fully prepared to spend her break from work alone with her thoughts, but this was a better alternative.

alycia had gotten lost in the views of the city from where she stood. there was something so authentic and beautiful about the UK, and she could have gotten lost in the views until her attention was pulled elsewhere. a sense of comfort took over as soon as she felt the embrace of familiar arms around her waist, the hair on the back of her neck standing at full attention when his lips made contact with her skin. he had her so easily wrapped around his finger. "hmm..." there was a playful tone to her voice as she pretended to give some thought to what activities they could do that day. "a stroll through the city does sound tempting, but the idea of spending the whole day in bed with you sounds a lot more tempting." she turned until her back was against the railing, both of her hands settled on his chest as she leaned her entire frame into his. "what do you want to do? a stroll through the city or me?" she teased.

Jamie would admit that it felt a little surreal to him that he and Alycia were now officially a couple, something that he'd wanted to happen for a while but he never thought would. The fact that she had the same feelings for him that he had for her made him feel like he was on top of the world, and there was a part of him that couldn't help but feel a little sad he hadn't said something sooner. They could have been together for a while now had he just gotten the nerve to put himself out there, to tell her what he was feeling. But that didn't matter now, they were together, and Jamie was going to enjoy every second of it, but he was also going to make sure to make up for lost time, because he wanted to spoil her as her boyfriend, not just her best friend.

They had left Prague after his convention was over, and they were now in the UK, and while he was getting prepared for filming, he still wanted to make sure to make time for him and Alycia to do things together. Even though she had told him that she would be happy staying in the small hotel room with him that the studio had booked, he'd still managed to talk the studio into giving him a little bit of an upgrade and at least getting a suite for them so they had a little more room together. It was a gorgeous room, and Jamie felt pretty lucky that it had a lovely balcony, which was where Alycia was right now, and Jamie couldn't help but smile as he watched her from the room. She was so beautiful, and he couldn't help but feel a little giddy in that moment that she was his.

Walking out to the balcony, Jamie approached Alycia and wrapped his arms around her from behind and dipped his head down to press a kiss against her neck. He looked at the view for a moment, wondering what she'd been watching before he'd gotten there, before speaking. "So, how do you want to spend the day today? I have the whole day to focus on you. Do you want to go explore the city for a little while? Maybe find another haunted adventure? Or do you want to stay in the hotel for a while and go back to bed?" He asked the last part in a more teasing tone than anything, but had she picked going back to bed, Jamie would be all for that, of course, because he couldn't get enough of Alycia, and he was pretty sure she knew that. @alyvas

there is an extra layer of fear added to the whole experience knowing that so many people grew up loving these films. i just hope that i'm able to bring the franchise justice, and the part that i play in this new film is one that people love. i know the titans are the stars of the show, but i hope to share even a little bit of spotlight with them. patience is definitely a virtue when it comes to projects like this, and i know as soon as i get on set the whole thing is going to fly by. i think you did the right thing. the safety of your fans was at stake, so you did what you had to do when no other measures were working. i know it's not easy to disappoint the fans like that, but the fact that they are safe and protected means you care, and i know they feel the same way.

I loved watching it, too, when I was younger, and even now, I will still watch it on occasion. I really hope you get to enjoy the experience. It's always a treat when you're getting to work on something you know you're going to enjoy. Exactly, a lot of the effort goes into the effects and editing when it comes down to it. Having it be half-assed to rush it out isn't the best idea. Patience goes a long way, in the end. I didn't know how to handle it all at first. We were trying to tell the fans to stop and to be careful of one another, but it wasn't working. We had people being injured, a few people even fainted, and the last resort was for us to leave for a while. It all managed to calm down, but it was awful to see and experience. We've never had anything like that happen, and I at first thought I'd get in trouble for being the first to leave because it's usually the leaders call, and I'm not the leader.

alycia: i've been the worst not checking in, but i wanted to see how you and the family were doing? i bet that little bundle of joy you have is growing like a weed. how have you been? catch me up on everything. @luhmmings

alycia: the realest. you act like i live in australia full time. 🤣 but yes i did have to run off to europe. i had a special friend waiting on me, and the vacation was very much needed. gonna have to respectfully decline that facetime request. i'm sorry.. alycia: how is the little one doing? i know it must be difficult dealing with that chaotic toddler stage. i bet she has you wrapped around her tiny little finger.

abel: are you for real? damn you really had to run in europe as if australia wasn't far enough. I take facetime request, tho abel: and hey, I appreciate the hype. Truth is, half the time I am dead to the world—just with a toddler climbing on my back like I’m her personal jungle gym. But it’s worth it. She’s the boss now, I just follow orders y'know.

i knew you were the right person for the job. i think if i twist this script into a rom com, you'd be the perfect boyfriend to sweep some lady off of her feet. the type that the audience roots for the entire time. thank you so much! i am still buzzing about landing the role. i had no idea when i auditioned that i would even make the cut. i was going against some pretty big names for that role, so being among the few who were picked— it's legendary. plus i do get to go toe to toe with titans— and hopefully i'm the one working with godzilla, and not against him. i did. walking away was difficult, and i didn't have much going for me job wise, so it was a huge risk. fear was a constant paycheck and i was taking a huge leap of faith on myself, but it worked out well in my favor. i appreciate you, more than you know. your friendship has meant so much to me. ha— i'll just tell them to put you in the next one. i have connections with them now.

you know i’m ride or die — opening scene, closing credits, hell, i’d even be that guy who gets resurrected in the post-credits scene if that’s what it takes. i’m committed. but seriously, i’m holding you to that promise. this character? no dying off early. he’s sticking around until the end, making it count with a slow-motion walk to insert epic finale here. we’re talking legendary status. and hey, godzilla vs. kong? that’s next-level cool. you get to go toe-to-toe with radioactive titans, and i’m honestly just waiting to see what kind of destruction you bring to the screen. talk about an iconic moment — forget the MCU, this is where the real action’s at. you’re gonna crush it. i can already see you owning that role and being the one everyone remembers when the credits roll. i feel you on all of that. when something starts losing its authenticity, it’s hard to stay invested. you’re right — alicia deserved way more than what they were handing out. there’s a point where you just have to step back and go, “i’m worth more than this.” you saw that and walked away, and that takes guts. if it ever gets to the point where they realize they messed up and bring that fire back, they’ll owe you an apology for not recognizing the potential when it was staring them right in the face. but hey, if you ever need a sounding board, or just someone to send you the most ridiculous motivational messages when you're feeling like you’re in the trenches, i’m here. honestly, I’m so glad to be cheering you on — don’t ever forget that you’re gonna go far. and if i ever start getting jealous of your epic godzilla vs. kong role, i’ll just blame it on the radioactive fallout.

he was a waste of time. seems to be a trend for me. i'll just be a little busy after july filming godzilla, but i'm gonna do my best to be at as many games as i can be. i'll keep that in mind. let's just hope i bring the team good luck again this year.

Ah, okay I see. Well, I am sorry. You're right though, and I like the way you're thinking. You're good company to have, so losing that is definitely someone else's loss. You will? That would be even better, and I will send you over when our games are. If there is a city we're in that works the best just let me know, or you can come to Buffalo and watch us at home. If you do, you know that I will give you the full Buffalo tour and show you all the best spots.

i have, but i never get tired of hearing them! it's a huge accomplishment for me career wise, and i'm happy to ride the high of this news for as long as i can. thank you so much. i never in my wildest dreams thought that i'd be part of such a huge franchise, and to be part of a film series i grew up watching? legendary. i'll be honest i feel like i've won the life lottery right now. i have zero complaints. i have a great job, a great significant other. i swear things are going so well i'm waiting for the shoe to drop and something to go wrong.

I'm sure you've been getting a lot of congratulations for getting the Godzilla x Kong part, but here's me offering mine! That's so wonderful, and I just know you're going to do an amazing job. Plus, I love the Monsterverse and can't wait to see what they do with the next installment. I feel like you're probably riding a massive high with that right now, and nothing else can beat that, right? But I'm still curious if there is anything else exciting that's going on in your life right now? My life is slightly stale, so I'm just trying to live vicariously through others. @alyvas
