if you feel the need to “check out the competition” you’re hoeing backwards. there is nobody who can bring to the table what YOU bring, focus on yourself. competition doesn’t exist.

Getting into fitness, changing my appearance, continuing my education, my high standards, not giving a single fuck about what people think about me

going through my followers and blocking every man I see = self-care

I’ve seen women with synthetic wigs, press on nails, and $7.99 perfume make it, I’ve seen fat women and thin women make it, I seen women who are flat out disabled make it, and I’ve seen women who people assumed would never make it make it. The one thing they all have in common is discipline and the one thing they all share is that they had the personalities and the will to find a way to survive and get what they wanted. If you’re unable to find a way to make life work for you then maybe it’s on you and not on the rest of the world.
