mommy ! caitlyn x fussy troublemaker ! reader headcanons !!

requested by anon ! i did headcanons instead of a fic, i wasn't sure which you preferred but headcanons are a bit less time consuming and you've been waiting a bit so i decided on headcanons. i hope that's okay ! mommy ! caitlyn is so sweet :3 arcane masterlist here , upcoming list here

mama caitlyn is never angry or yelling, but she is firm. if you've done something naughty she'll bend down to look into your eyes, firm hand on your shoulder, and speak to you in a calm but stern tone, scolding you a bit and explaining to you why what you've done was naughty.

if you're especially fussy, she'll take you onto her lap shushing you gently as she rubs your back. "what's the matter, my love? mama can see you're upset, would you like to talk about it?"

with you being a bit of a troublemaker she's no stranger to you coloring on the walls. her hand catches her face as she sighs but she can't help but chuckle. "where's mama's little artist?" she'll call and you'll nervously peek your head around the corner. "do you want to explain yourself mister/missie/little one?" you sheepishly grin at her, trying to decide if you should pretend it wasn't you. a few days later she gets whiteboard paint for your room and all colors of markers.

you're always making messes and blaming them on your stuffies. imagine you're up early trying to make yourself a bowl of cereal when you drop the milk. you try to clean it all up by yourself but in the end you have to accept defeat, creeping into caitlyn's room with your stuffie in hand. tapping her awake, holding your stuffed animal right in front of her face. "um.. mommy... bunny did an oopsie. i tried to help him but it was too much..."

you're no stranger to the time out corner. you try to tantrum your way out of it but caitlyn won't say anything, giving you a sympathetic look but not letting you out until you can calm down. "shhh, baby, enough yelling now, love. you're gonna hurt your voice. as soon as you've calmed down enough to tell mama why you're feeling grumpy you can come out."

if you're in a fussy mood, caitlyn will sing to you to calm you down. she has a pretty voice but saves it only for you. she'll often sing you lullabies if you're trying to protest against bedtime or nap time. you'll start to stomp and she'll give you an amused look. "i know you're not sleepy (;3) but why don't you rest your pretty little head a minute and let mama sing to you?" she knows you really are sleepy and that's why you're so cranky, but she knows you'll shout if she suggests it.

if you're feeling especially testy you'll curse, only the baby equivalent curses but this shocks her every time. she'll gasp, horrified. "who taught you that, that's very naughty." she might drop the classic "i'm not mad, just disappointed," or have you write lines. nothing crazy, just "i will not say bad words," five or ten times. if you start to get upset, she'll sit with you, once again explaining why those words are bad. if you're to get weepy she stops the punishment immediately, kissing your head and rocking you. you'll choke out something about you being bad, and she gently shushes you. "oh no no no. look at me, baby, can you do that? can you look at mama?" you tearily glance up at her, and she meets your eye. "in no way are you bad, sweetheart. you may have done something naughty but you're a very good girl/boy/pup/etc. do you hear me? i love you so much, baby, i'm not angry with you, just need you to understand me. does that make sense?"

she always keeps a paci on her for if you're out in public together and you get fussy. sometimes you lose yours, spitting it out to get your mama's attention. she'll have you in your stroller going up and down the same few blocks trying to find your beloved paci you spit out. she always has an extra one because this seems to be so entertaining for you — you can't stop giggling whenever you spit your paci out like you did something sneaky.

puppy ! regressor caitlyn kiramman headcanons !!

she's a pretty quiet pup but she follows vi around wherever he goes. she's not exactly the most threatening pup, her bark is worse than her bite but vi lets her think she's his guard dog.

puppy ! caitlyn who wears a collar with a tag that says "if lost return to mama" with vi's contact information and she's soo proud of it ! she loves the way her tags jangle as she walks, she'll stim that way sometimes !

everyone knows she's vi's puppy, sometimes people will give him little treats or toys to give to caitlyn, and people are always asking him about her. he's always happy to chat about his pup !

she's a very obedient pup, definitely a good girl, keeping her nose out of trouble. she's always there when jayce or vi calls. imagine vi coming home from a long day, patting his knees and calling for caitlyn. "yoohooo, where's caiti?" caitlyn comes running immediately, tags jangling as she runs towards vi, jumping up on him excitedly, licking his face like a real puppy would. this makes vi giggle, gently pushing her away because her licks tickle.

caitlyn will only get loud if she's left alone for too long, especially when she misses vi. she's a very loyal girl and after all she's only little, a few hours feels even longer when you're so small. she starts out with a few soft whimpers, maybe a few experimental yips. before long though she's howling, sobs wracking her body. she only stops when she's tired herself out, sobs and howls subsiding back to small whimpers. vi is heartbroken when he comes back to find cait curled up asleep on the floor, eyes swollen from crying. he pampers his baby, apologizing over and over again when she wakes up.

vi getting jinx to make caitlyn a custom dog bed which excites her so much !!! jinx pretends to be annoyed and uncomfortable when caitlyn hugs her but she can't contain a smile. vi taking so many pictures of cait in her little bed, cait so deeply regressed all she can do is babble and yip quietly.

vi and jayce getting the brilliant idea of teaching puppy ! cait tricks... it would be so chaotic Flop Duo cheering and yelling every time she does anything, feeding her too many treats because they can't get over what a cutie she is.

vi tying a little bow to caitlyn's collar, kissing her head telling her what a pretty little puppy she is.

caitlyn isn't the most playful pup, she's very laid back and calm, but she Loves squeaky toys. if someone is to squeak one around her she gets a bit rowdy until she has it in her mouth. she may even try to tug it out of their hands, though vi scolds her gently for this.

caitlyn being one of those silly puppies who does Not stop chewing on her squeaky toy even after it's sound has gotten super annoying for everyone else. being autistic she struggles to pick up on this, especially when she's so engrossed in her toy.

his favorite show is clifford's puppy days and clifford the big red dog. he's a puppy regressor and identifies a lot with clifford, he sometimes barks at the screen or wags his tail when he's onscreen. usually he'll sit on the floor, wagging and yipping happily, pointing at the screen. "'ama !" "who's that baby?" "CLIFFY !" vi shouts excitedly. if he's feeling particularly little or perhaps just more clingy than usual he'll watch from caitlyn's lap, wiggling in her lap trying to wag his tail. this makes caitlyn chuckle, planting so many kisses on his cheeks.

puppy ! vi tends to struggle with words when fully regressed. he typically communicates through yips and whines, getting a lot of use out of his puppy eyes. he may stare when he wants something, growl when he's feeling upset or angry, and whimper if he's feeling sad. it's not really conscious, it tends to just slip out.

when he's puppy regressed vi can be a bit hyper, but when he's otherwise regressed he's typically very calm. vi tends to be more of a baby regressor, though he's not very comfortable being regressed in this way around people other than caitlyn. he's okay being puppy ! regressed around others but he's a shy baby, getting weepy if anyone sees him while in this headspace. he's especially weepy if jinx is around, stuck in the mindset of being her big sibling, feeling selfish about his regression.

vi in general is a pretty weepy baby, he's been through so much and his big emotions can be pretty overwhelming for such a small little one. caitlyn is so understanding and gentle with him. letting out a little gasp, "what's wrong, my love? what can mama do, huh?"

with caitlyn being so wealthy she certainly takes advantage of it when it comes to baby && puppy ! vi. buying him all the toys he could dream of, every time she sees something that reminds her of him she can't help but get it for him. she gets him cute patterned diapers which he gets excited by, toddling over to cait wide eyed and curious whenever she gets home with a bag of goodies.

vi isn't good about asking for things he wants or even needs, getting shy about it but caitlyn is always checking in. "do you have enough, sweetheart?" or if vi's eyeing something, "hmm, i think that looks nice, would you like that pup?"

little ! vi likes superheroes, especially spiderman ! he gets excited whenever he sees something spiderman themed, babbling and pointing. he likes animated spiderman best, babbling along to the theme song.

vi always sleeps in caitlyn's bed when he's regressed. caitlyn dresses him in footie sleepers, his favorite ones being spiderman themed. she feeds him a bottle, humming to him or reading him a story, vi loves books ! if he doesn't have his bottle vi tends to get fussy. he sleeps cuddled up in caitlyn's arms, her touch keeping him grounded if he's to fuss while having a nightmare or in his sleep. this wakes cait right up so she can help her baby through whatever is bothering him.

vi's regression is involuntary and largely a trauma response. caitlyn is very patient and understanding, never getting angry or yelling at her baby. she's always there to hold him when he cries, talking him through what's making him fussy. she carefully explains when he makes a mistake what he did wrong, reassuring him that it's okay, everyone makes mistakes. she doesn't punish him really, at most taking away a toy for a brief period if he's being rough with it.

if puppy ! vi is particularly energetic, caitlyn will take him outside to play fetch or to go on a walk. she puts him on a leash so he can't get lost or run too far ahead. he likes his leash most of the time but if caitlyn isn't going fast enough he'll tug on it or whine.

She's a liar in every timeline.

vi is so supportive of you when you come out. he's always threatening to beat up anyone who would potentially unsupportive and if he had to he would no questions asked. he's not a trans man but he is transmasc so he knows all about trans stuff and is more than happy to help you out with your t shots and with getting trans tape or a binder !

vi teaching his little brother (you !) how to do t shots, doing his with you and giving you a big smile and a high five when you're done. he's impressed with how good you are with it, telling you how much he cried his first time (his one thing is needles... bleegh).

vi mostly calls you "little man" but of course being the silly guy he is he gets in a couple silly nicknames as well like "stinky" and "squirt". you mostly call him bubba. he doesn't really like parental titles cause he's your brother not your parent !

if you're both really small then caitlyn will take care of you guys but usually he's old enough to take you on adventures himself. even if he's feeling smaller than usual he's still really proud of being your big brother. he always wants to give you your bottle, or to give you his blankie to keep you nice and warm. he's really protective of you even when he's feeling younger. "mama, can i see bubby?" "not now, silly, you've just seen him 5 minutes ago, let him have his nap."

if you're feeling fussy, vi will slip you a sweet from his secret stash. he sometimes will try to bribe you with his candy which if you're being honest always works. he's never trying to get you to do anything really naughty but maybe bribing you to not tell caitlyn on the rare occasion he has an accident or so you'll keep quiet for a little while.

vi is always bragging to his friends about you, telling them how awesome you are. he's so so proud to have you as a brother, always trying to be a good role model for you. if someone even jokingly says something at your expense he'll give them a threatening look and make a fist at them.

playfighting !! oh you guys are always playfighting or rough housing. it stops immediately if someone is hurt though, if you ever cry out he jumps back immediately going from silly to serious in a second. "i'm really sorry, did i hurt you? should i get mama? please don't cry !"

gets you two matching stuffies as a surprise. his is named after you and yours is named after him.

vi trying to give you your first gender affirming haircut. he's so proud of himself, then caitlyn comes in to find you two and gasps. "d'y'like it mama?" he asks and she's all "vi, my love, what have you done to your brother?" she tries to sound angry, but a chuckle slips through. you actually kind of like it, at least it's better than your old long hair, but caitlyn insists you get to a real barber asap. poor vi is really bummed.

vi helping you dye your hair, proudly ruffling it when you're done. "oh yeaahhh, that's badass, little man !" he gives you a high five, going on and on about how cool it looks. you wanted to look just like him so it delights you that he approves.

"I've known for a while now, Violet. It has always been you. No doubt, no question. Always you."

Safe to say I think everybody’s hearts got crushed by Act 2, so here is some Isha and Jinx fanart inspired by the latest act. Really wish we could have gotten an even bigger glimpse of what Isha and Jinx were up to during the time skip. Super excited (and scared for act 3) Hope you like it.

Not my usual content but Caitlyn brainrot has been on the mind and I got inspired by a moot of mine.

Thus, Caitlyn agere headcanons 💙 + Caregiver! Jinx as a treat

💙 - Regresses to cope with stress rather than as a trauma response

🧁 - Gets pretty quiet, doesn’t speak unless spoken to

✨ - Shorter words and sentences, quick answers so she can be polite but avoid long conversations.

💙 - Likes to draw or read her favorite books while laying on the floor near the fireplace or while hidden under the covers.

🧁 - Always, and I mean always carries around a stuffed toy that Jayce gave her when she was younger. It’s worn, it’s tattered, but it’s hers.

✨ - Usually regresses to her preteen or early teens. Think 10-14 or so. When she’s super duper stressed it’s more around 6-10.

💙 - Easily gets mistaken for her just taking a break since her behavior is already pretty similar. Jinx is pretty good at recognizing it based on her short sentences, and the fact she’s carrying around her special stuffed animal.

🧁 - Loooves to go outside, especially when it’s cloudy. Likes to go visit the forest where she had the competition with Grayson and explore even though she knows the area like the back of her hand.

✨ - If she’s with Jinx she’ll be a little more outspoken, asking more directly for things. Even so she’s still pretty quiet and averse to asking questions, so she’ll write them down and hand them to Jinx.

💙 - Adding onto that, Jinx is always super proud of her whenever she verbally asks for things since it’s a sign that Caitlyn trusts her a lot!

🧁- Jinx sometimes shows Cait stuff she liked to do when she was younger. It’s a slow introduction since Caitlyn is a pretty independent and reserved kiddo but she managed to get Cait to let her braid her hair and paint her nails.

✨ - Cait stops masking and her getting excited is the most silly thing ever (Jinx finds it adorable). Hand flapping, hugging her plushie super tight, big smile.

💙 - Sometimes when a day at work is especially hard or stressful, Cait needs Jinx’s permission to unwind or regress. She’ll get everything set up while waiting for Jinx to come home. Plushie, blankets, pillows, her favorite books, all the stuff she could ever need.

🩵: “Didja have a hard day?”

💙: “mhm…”

🩵: “Alright, c’mere kiddo, I’ll take care of ya,”

🧁 - Suuuuper clingy when she needs touch. Independent 90% of the time but that other 10% is all cuddles with Jinx and refusing to let her go.

✨ - Loves being called kiddo or sprout. Being called sprout feels like getting to be with her big brother Jayce again!
