That’s what people always told Sonic whenever Shadow performed any display of affection, from ordering Sonic’s favorite flavor of boba tea, to bringing roses when Sonic was feeling down, to brushing the grass out of Sonic’s quills after a particularly tough battle.

When they held hands in public for the first time—the hero remembered it like it was yesterday—Sonic asked his partner if he felt embarrassed. To his surprise, Shadow responded, “About what?”

It made Sonic feel giddy inside and out.

I just had a fic idea-

OKAY- So I’ve been struggling with how to write a fic with a black m/c, mostly because even though I’m black myself, I’m afraid of overdoing any stereotypes. 

So, I’ve decided to write a fic with a character based on my actual personality, which I will admit, embodies some of the stereotypes about black people, mostly in how we speak, the words we use, and a hefty amount of sass.

I’m not trying to paint these features in a negative light, I’m DEFINITELY not saying that all black people are like this character, because we’re NOT all like this character.

I’m GONNA write this fic, and I just wanna say now that if anybody has a problem with how I write this character.. BOO HOO.

Okay So This Happened

I was at lunch with my friends, and my singular male friend Carter and I started talking about MHA. I have little education pertaining to the fandom, but he's a total weeb about it.

He told me Bakugo doesn't deserve love.

He deadass looked me in the eyes and told me that a character that is SUPPOSED to be written as an antagonist in Japanese standards doesn't deserve love.
