Ways to Honor Loki
Here’s a list of things I’m starting to do for myself that also honors Loki! Feel free to use any of these for yourselves. :)
1. Do the Harder Thing.
If faced with two potential decisions, I now try to go for the harder but ultimately more rewarding option, which I’m not naturally inclined to do. This is especially helpful if long-term goals keep falling to the wayside!
2. Speak where you might be silent.
Fear often stays my tongue, but for no good reason. Now I try to speak up when I want, and share what I want, and do the things I want that fear would otherwise stop me from doing.
3. Take the wheel.
This one’s actually developed out of necessity of working with Loki. My life’s been in chaos, but I can either flounder in the waves or ride out the storm. I’d rather do the latter, even if it’s hard. See item 1.
4. Face the Unknown.
There are a lot of things I don’t know how to do, but when the time comes to do it, that shouldn’t stop me.
As far as I’m concerned, it’s damn near impossible to remain stagnant with Loki around, and it’s bitten me in the ass when I’ve tried. Figured it’d be better if I started to make the moves before he does!

It should 100% be illegal for companies to make you give them your payment information when you sign up for a free trial version of their product. It is not necessary and there is no good fucking reason for them to do it. It’s blatantly just so they can steal forgetful customers’ money.
met a trans woman who was going to be a potential new roommate. she wanted to see a picture of me to know i was a real person. after seeing my selfie she asked me "AFAB on T?" i felt the most dysphoric i had felt in years- its one thing to have cis people ask me things like this, but it's a huge slap in the balls to hear things like this from other trans people.
we are in the "nobody cares what gender you were assigned at birth" community. don't single people out or try to assume their AGAB- if you're trans and don't want people asking you about your AGAB, the other trans person almost definitely feels the same way. respect people's privacy and identity- attempting to profile other trans people by what their bodies look like is violence.

🏳️🌈 Ruth Ellis (1899 - 2000) was the daughter of former slaves. She came out as a lesbian when she was 16-years-old to the complete acceptance of her family. In 1937, Ruth and her longtime partner moved to Detroit from their hometown of Springfield, Illinois for the promise of higher wages. There, she became the first woman in Michigan to run her own printing business. She printed fliers, posters, and stationary in the front room of her home, which also quickly became a hotspot for Black LGBTQ social life. Before long, Ruth was helping those who came around in any way she could, including by paying for college tuitions. After the Stonewall uprising, 70-year-old Ruth began giving speeches in support of gay and lesbian rights all across the country. She remained an activist for the rest of her long life and even spent her 100th birthday leading the San Francisco Dyke March. At the time of her death at 101, she was recognized as the oldest out lesbian in the US. She is the subject of the documentary "Living With Pride: Ruth C. Ellis @ 100" and is the namesake of the Ruth Ellis Center, a shelter for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth in Detroit.
