"Would it be bad if I said yes?“
Well, at least he seemed to have found some amusement in her question if nothing else. It was kind of a rude question on her part, but she had been curious. For whatever reason, she hadn’t thought to stop herself from saying anything.
"Sorry, that was kind of a rude question anyways,” she blushed.
Wow, he must have been around for a very, very long time. He’s speaking of trading goods for services and that sort of thing has been out of practice since long before she was even born. She was a child compared to him, not that she was that old even for her own kind. No for a Siren she was quite young.
However, she could use to being called a rivulet, she knew what he meant by it, but for whatever reason, it didn’t bother Chisa.
The fact that people enjoy the thought of being enchanted was something she had to agree with. Having lived all of her life outside of the sanctuaries, she had witnessed many conversations and discussions of mortals wishing they weren’t human. They wished for a lot of things they simply didn’t just understand.
"Mortal’s have always been attracted to magic. Even if their responses are less then positive sometimes.“
This was a known fact. With what she had heard and even what her parents had taught her she was aware of just how careful she had to be around them.
Looking over her eyes finally caught his for once. She had looked into his eyes numerous times but had never had him actually focus on her. He was always looking somewhere else and his eyes were beautiful.
He laughs a little at her question – no, it wasn’t rude. A warlock finding someone’s question rude? Would be rather hilarious. He’d been around for so long nowadays that if he found something as simple and standard as that rude, he would spend his entire life irritated.
In fact, he couldn’t say he remembered the last time he was upset. He wasn’t easy to startle let alone anger. He’d lived for far too long. “You’re just fine, Rivulet.” Juuzo reassures her with a quicksilver smile, before looking at everything in front of him again. He’d already figured out where she could live, what was most convenient for the siren… he already knew the neighbors and how she would generally be perceived. So? Luckily, she should adjust just fine. “Ask as many questions as suits your fancy. I’ve a learned to be patient with the young that come to me. I wouldn’t be in this line of work otherwise.” He laughs a little then – basically offering her a free pass if she had things she wanted to talk about.
“Though, I suppose since I have you here I should warn you – we really do have all sorts here. A werewolf is part of my police force, we have a few pureblood vampires, a young faie youth with ties back to angel-hood. It’s a sanctuary, but? We have all types around, do you believe you’ll be able to handle this sort of diversity? I know some have requested transfers to more… specified Safe Havens. However, Orsus doesn’t specialize in any type of the Folk. We do our best for everyone who comes our way.” This was coming from the man who literally used his magic to form and create this place – whenever a new challenge came his way, he made it work. Such as getting Grave-Dirt delivered for some of the vampires, or dealing with the lack of plants necessary for a forest nymph. He did everything in his power to make this place a safe haven – but that didn’t mean everyone worked well with one another. So? He had to make this disclaimer.
He had to sigh a little though at her next comment.
She wasn’t wrong. CHISA had hit the NAIL on the HEAD with that one – mortals were often fascinated with magic. Others tried to pass on it as miracles or F A T E. However, humans could be rather CRUEL when they came across it as well. < The W I T C H Trails > came to mind in specific.
“They can be fascinated with the beauty of it, and other times… because they don’t understand it, they fear it. And that fear creates the need for violence. Humans… are such odd creatures for that reason.” Humans – unable to deal with the differences they find in their own kind, can barely be trusted to keep a secret let alone live alongside the FOLK. Eventually they would ether want to harness their abilities or they would try to crush them, to eliminate a threat. Either way, it wasn’t pretty.
And neither was this… strange sensation in his chest. For a moment, he put his hand over his chest – over his “HEART,” supposedly.
He had no confirmation of that – until now.
‘… what?’ For a moment, his brilliant, gem-like eyes just focus on the table in front of him… with his hand on his chest, he probably looked a little panicked. However, as old as he was – he recognized he probably was looking strange, and corrects his behavior quickly. Smiling slightly at the young SIREN, before shuffling his papers together. “Alright, Rivulet. Do you want to go check out the area you’ll be living in? I have the keys to the place that you were approved for.”
Sanada Nobuyuki, the Lord of Numata… and unfortunately for him? The older brother of the troublemaker, Yukimura. He is very different from his brother. A busy man, he takes his job very seriously. He also takes their fathers mission into account far more than his brother ever did: The mission? To make sure the Sanada family line survives, no matter what. He’s also a married man, married to young Komatsu-hime, his light. Often times? The serious man can be found working… ether his page or his wife at his side.
This particular verse falls around the time he first met the Unno twins, when they were being assigned their pages- And? Around the time he allowed his brother to choose the method that their pages were chosen. He is still very serious, however? He’s a little more relaxed around this time, but? Not by much. This was when he was first getting to know the young page, and getting used to having him around- Debating just how much help the other would truly be to him.
This particular verse takes place with him during his waring era. Because of this? Don’t expect to find him in a particularly wonderful mood. He takes his job very seriously, and? Is more than willing to slaughter an enemy, if that’s what it comes down to. What’s important to him? Is surviving for the sake of completing his father’s goals. Of course? This isn’t the only thing that concerns him… after all, he does value his own life. But? He’s a little more anxious and unnerved during this time. Don’t expect him to be overly pleasant to strangers.
Sanada Nobuyuki, much to his dismay, is a teacher at the school that his own brother has recently come to teach at. Unfortunately for him? This has not been going particularly well. After all: He is very strict and serious. He is often found staying around after hours, grading papers, or even sticking around before and after school if any of his students have any particular questions. You’ll find that his classes are difficult, but? If you have questions for him, he’ll do everything in his power, with what limited patience he has, spending forever trying to help you understand it.
This is the verse for the main story line of SDR2.
What started out as a nice little trip – despite being unexpected, especially because she had thought she was about to starter first day at Hope’s Peak Academy, turns rabidly dark. With the appearance of a bear by the name of Monokuma and the announcement that they would be partaking in something called a “Mutual Killing Game.” Sonia is strong minded and strong willed. Being a princess means she is good at keeping a straight face and keeping herself calm, even in times of high stress. However? There is afear prickling at the back of her mind. After all? Who is doing this? Why is this happening? Why do she or any of her classmates have to die? What is the purpose of this cruel game …
Confused, but willing to adapt, the Ultimate Princess has found herself on a “school trip” to a mysterious Island along with the fellow members of her class. It’s confusion. But, as weird as it is… it doesn’t seem like a bad idea. Perhaps this was a good way to get to know everyone! Sonia would feel awfully silly if she didn’t at least give it a chance! Perhaps she could have a wonderful time with her class here, even if getting here… might still confuse her. ( … how does a room fold away and bring you to a beach? She may believe in magic, but… she still can’t put a finger to a spell that could do something like this. )
A member of Yukizome’s class, and always a will participant in showing up to class, from the moment they got their new enthusiastic teacher? She has found herself positively excited or class~ She wanted a true school experience. And she enjoys getting to know those around her. Even if… certain classmates can be a little… “overwhelming” to say the least.
A member of the “Remnant’s of Despair,” Sonia is still just as charismatic and as much of a leader as she has ever been. One of her strongest points, and part of what makes her so terrifying, is as a princess she has military training as well as the charisma to move people - she is a master of mass manipulation, as well as strategic destruction to decrease moral of enemies and so on and so forth. She is also very much willing to take up weapons and lead the charge. She is by no means weak. But she is terrifying.
Spoilers for DR3!
After having awoken from the Neo World Program, she and the remaining survivors had decided to wait for their classmates. They were willing to stick around there and wait for them to revive, regardless of the odds. However? With a little push from their local, artificial, genius? ( Izuru ) They were able to retrive all of them - and managed to pull off a bit of a last minute save for their saviors.
Someone who had moved to the island of Orsus in the recent years – particularly to train herself in the ways of her people, and give her a safe place to study. After all, it wasn’t until recent that she had even known that she was a witch. Her family had been intent to hide it from her, especially given that they considered themselves a strict religious family. And they would not have their daughter ruining that for them… However? Sonia’s natural magic was too strong to be sealed, and when it finally revealed itself, nothing would stop her from figuring out what exactly she was.
It took some time, but eventually she was able to discover that her origin-line tied her to the line of the original “W i t c h ‘ Q u e e n” and that meant she had the potential to grow into that level of power as well. Even to take the title – but? To do so, she would have to survive – because the line had disappeared for ages, and clans were currently warring over the title. And some untrained youth was certainly not going to do anything about the state of things. She needed to survive, which meant? Moving somewhere she could study in peace – until she is able to properly wield her natural talent.
( This would be the canon timeline! ) Basically everything that happened while Garry and Ib where trapped inside of the artwork trying to find their way out - their lives are dependent on the number of rose petals they have, and Garry? Well, he sees things a little differently around here then Ib does.
Some of it comes down to rational paranoia in situations like this... other parts are just him being a little bit cowardly. But? Trying hard on behalf of helping young Ib. He wants to be someone she can rely on...
Having survived their crazy adventure and returned to the real world - somehow Ib was able to trigger his memories to return. At first it’d been a bit hazy, but Ib was able to pull him out of it. Nowadays he tries to keep in contact with her even still. Though, he often worries about the impression he’s making... he doesn’t just want to lose the friend he’d made through their shared chaos.
A piece of “ARTWORK” from within the world - this “Garry” works to take the others place when given the chance to. This can ether be inside the gallery, or having been able to trick Ib into leaving with it, instead of the real one. He is different then the real Garry - having little to no fear, because it’s not really alive. So? It doesn’t respond to things the same - though it does try to from time to time, these responses seem “scripted” and unrealistic.
❛ Hanzo, have you ever burped out fire before? ❜ [ i was going through my drafts and there was this conversation isanami had with a friend where if someone ate too much spicy food that's how they breathe fire or something and now i'm going to do the noble thing and spam braves who have control over elements with stupid questions ]
A snort escapes the BRAVE of FIRE when his smaller companionasks him that – oh god. These werethe sorts of things she thought about? This was what she became curious enoughabout… that she hunted him down to ask? Truly?
“Have I evermentioned that I love the way your brain works?” The crimson-haired manasks, aloud, as he reaches to ruffle the others hair carefully. He didn’t wantto mess it up, though, he was very amused. “BecauseI do. Truly.” He wasn’t really teasing, ether. As an IGA shinobi, he thought it rather sweet that this was how his smaller companion’s head worked. Howshe ticked.
As he’d always been a warrior, he couldn’t say that he’dever had such a genuinely innocent thought…
But? “I think theonly time I did something like that,” He starts, scratching at his cheek ashe averts his gaze. It wasn’t an… overly embarrassing story, but it was stillsilly. An amateur mistake made by an amateur. “Waswhen I was younger. Part of my training was to take alcohol into my mouth, so thatI could surprise my enemy. My teacher told me I was supposed to use it as anaccelerant. I did, but? I hiccupped? Long story short – I got into a lot oftrouble for setting stuff on fire that I wasn’t meant to.”
He grins a little, half-awkwardly. If anyone else had asked,he would have just laughed at them for asking a “s t u p i d” question. But sincehis young friend had asked? He would tell her the truth. Even if it didn’t painthim in the light of being the “ultimate shinobi” that the name “HATTORI HANZO” implied.“Keep it between us, though, will you?” Headds, putting a finger to his lips. “Nobody got hurt in that incident, but? If Ilet it be known that I did such a thing, Saizou will know it was me who burnt theside of his home in Iga, while he was out training with his master andAnastasia once…” By that, he was saying this – yep. He’d been young at thetime. But? He had been older then the other two already. He was considered a “professionalamateur” at the time. An official shinobi, but? With limited experience. So?That sort of slip up… well… didn’t look great.
And so far, he hadn’t been caught for thatincident. At least not by them, so? He’dlike to keep it that way.

( spoilers for birthright! )
When Kamui/Corrin left their family to side with their “birth” family, Leo and the others felt understandably betrayed. They’d been nothing short of family to them and when they left - they where heartbroken and betrayed. And? Their father was quick to turn on them. . . There was little they could do in the matter, rather then fight. And though they didn’t hate them, they couldn’t forgive them ether.
Later down the verse, Leo is calmed some... and due to calming down and listening to reason when approached, he is one who manages to survive the events of their leaving. Eventually becoming the next King of Nohr. A position he had never truly expected to be taking, but? He hopes to make his family proud. Both those there, and in the afterlife.
( spoilers for conquest )
When Kamui/Corrin was seperated from them all and went to Hoshido... and decided to come back, despite everything they found out? Even, eventually, bringing back their missing sibling Azura? They’re understandably relieved. Especially given what they’re told that they found out.
However - it appears that their father no longer shows them favor. It’s strange, despite proving their loyalty repeatedly, he seems particularly cruel to them. And it’s not something Leo necessarily understands, and yet? They keep trying to help their sibling prove themselves.
Following an unlikely chain of events, unfolding since the moment Hoshido and Nohr began fighting over whose sibling Kamui/Corrin was - and having them simply refuse to take ether side and leave? It’s a slow gradual process to bring both sides together. And though some are more reluctant to accept this peace then others, it does bring both sides together. Working towards a common cause.
Fire Emblem ( Crossovers ) verse! Basically - like in Hero’s or Warrior’s, they were hero’s summoned somewhere else for a cause. ( under construction )

Kokichi laughs a little to himself as he stands out in the hall – his present in hand, and presented outright, for whenever the other happened to open the door. This was actually part of the reason he’d come in the morning! A devious little sneak he was, when it came to things like this, but? But he knew for a fact that the other had a hard time waking up in the morning. He was often drowsy for hours – and he thought that surprising him was the best chance he had to get the other to agree.
Especially when this was an earnest attempt on his part. The TRUTH he’d spoken aloud was that he wanted the two of them to be VALENTINES. That was true.
But given the obscurity of it & the silly manner in which he presented it? He doubted the other would take it seriously – which was fine. The LIAR didn’t have the real t i m e for anything like that. But? He thought it might be nice to humor his own feelings for once. Even if… they weren’t going to be presented properly. And he wouldn’t explain to the other that he meant it. He was sure his friend, the ULTIMATE DETECTIVE, would take it as a prank. And that was fine. “G’morning, buddy!” The tiny SUPREME LEADER chimes, laughing a little.
It was fun to fluster the other.
And here was his cue to begin doing so more – the moment the other looked… flustered, and tried to explain to him the holiday, Kokichi allowed himself to look confused followed by sad. Well trained tears beginning to well up in his expressive eyes. “Ah… oh.” Disappointment clear on his features. His shoulders slumping as he lowers the gift a little. “… I guess… that means you don’t want them then?”
He was a gremlin and he knew it. Manipulating the other even now with their established friendship. But, surely enough – If the other didn’t do some “damage control” of this situation, he was about to make a scene. Why? Because he cared. And this was how he treated his friends.
snowinglilys:
Lily disliked thinking of the distance limitation, he always had been so careful not to pass it, he didnt want the day to come when he did end up putting his eve in pain like that, more so from something like this.
“It can be a curse at times really, always drawing attention. Oh, i had almost forgotten, i have something for you. “ He reached into his pocket and pulled out a picture of Misono, a recent one he had gotten of him that he wanted the other to have. Holding it out for the other, he had kept it with him incase he would ever run into him. He figured the older Alicein would have liked to have a more recent picture.
“Let us hope that never has to happen, as funny as it would be, i would take to trouble you and my brother with something like that.” He was certain they probably would die of shock after seeing his brother in their house, he could be scary when he was unhappy, though the butterfly found it more adorable than he did scary, he didn't think he could ever be scared of him.
“I’ve enjoyed keeping an eye on him as i had you when you were about his age. You’ve grown so much since i have seen you last” That was a sound he missed, hearing one of his children, under his protection even now that he wasnt able to protect him laugh was, something beautiful that he would never take for granted. But he owed them so much more, the family had taken him and his subclass in for such a little thing in return.
He nodded in agreement, knowing it wasnt like it used to be and that he couldn’t be as careless anymore when away from someone he knew. “I would greatly enjoy that, i’ve missed being able to see you as much as i used to”
When the other hands him a newer picture of his younger brother, Mikuni reaches out carefully – taking the photo as though it was something delicate / precious. Everything he got from Lily concerning his brother, he treated like treasure. After all: The reason he was away from the ALICEIN Household was because he’d protected his dear brother. If there was something this young man treasured – if there was something he wanted to p r o t e c t, it was his dearest younger brother. “You’ve gotten very good at taking photo’s, Lily. Though he sure is poutin’ in this one.” A genuine smile had broken it’s way through, making it to his lips without hesitation.
When it came to Misono, he couldn’t help it. His brother was just so cute… and he cherished his little brother more then anything else in this world. “Thank you, Lily. I do appreciate your efforts.” I mean: Misono probably wouldn’t be too excited that Mikuni’s ever growing picture collection just kept getting bigger somehow? But, he’d never tell on his friend – his brother’s SERVAMP.
“Well, just know that if somethin’ like that happens to ya? We’ll be ready and willin’ to come launch a full scale rescue. We can’t have somebody goin’ and trying to pin you to a board or somethin’.” Butterfly collectors have always been a worry for the Alicein household, especially given the form one of their two SERVAMPS took. If something like that were to happen to ALL-of-LOVE, both Misono and Lily would be hurt quite badly. And that wasn’t something the blond older brother would allow to happen. “And I don’t think Jeje would think it was trouble.” He adds, as an afterthought – after all, he was the EVE of ENVY.
And he knew for a fact that the taller, older, servamp couldn’t possibly find anything as annoying as MIKUNI forcing him to work at his shop in turn for getting blood.
However, when the other brings up how much he’d grown, Mikuni couldn’t help but laugh a little. Oh, how Lily was just a member of the FAMILY, especially when he said things like this! He sounded like an uncle or older brother himself. “Have I grown up well? I think Misono hate’s my aesthetic.” It was mostly a joke – but? To be fair, Mikuni did things sometimes intentionally to make people believe he wasn’t entirely in his right mind, so? If Misono believed it, he only had himself to blame. “You’ve always been a member of the family… I can’t even remember you ever lookin’ any different then you do now.”
And? As the other agrees to his offer, the elder ALICEIN brother falls into step beside the SERVAMP – stopping for a moment, before bowing slightly. “Alrighty, then. Allow me to escort you home then, dear Lily.” It was a joke – his action was, even if his words were the truth. After being nearly abducted, he thought would be good if he could make him laugh. “I’d like to catch up anyways.” It was true that they never got to see as much of each other anymore. So? It would be nice to catch up with his old friend. “How are your kids doin’, by th’ way? Are they well?” He’d seen a few of Lily’s subclass around – however? They weren’t allowed to acknowledge him, given his exile from the family. So? He’d been unable to ask about how they were doing when he’d seen them around.
This is the verse that is his primary verse. Taking place throughout the timeline of DR1 through DR3: Future Side.
The former Ultimate Boxer, as well as a former member of Class 74, Juuzo Sakakura is now the leader of “Branch Six” of the Future Foundation. He is also the main bodyguard for Kyousuke Munakata. A job he takes very seriously. Out of his fellow Future Foundation Leaders, he has one of the biggest names amongst the criminals and such of the falling world. After all, Juuzo is pretty infamous for his merciless behavior. He will happily kill anyone who is working to spread despair – if that is the best and quickest way to end something, he will not hesitate. You’ll find people often work their hardest, when they feel they need to make up for something. And? Juuzo is no exception.
In a despair-less world, Juuzo has still chosen to disregard his talent, in favor of following his best friend. After all: Kyousuke had chosen to become the Headmaster of the New Oversea’s Branch, of Hope’s Peak Academy. So? Juuzo decided to follow him overseas and offer to be of any help he could be to the other’s mission. Though he’d never seen himself as a teacher – as a couch / p.e. teacher, he’s making it work. He can be a little harsh sometimes, as he has a bit of a temper. But? Surprisingly, his methods really tend to leave an impression with those he works with. ( He also oversees detention. As a personal choice. After all: Someone needs to get these kids to stop causing his friends trouble… )
Post DR3: Future/Hope – Through it had been a close call, in fact, his body had gone into severe shock due to the loss of blood, and he’d slipped into a near death coma, some many months later… Juuzo found himself awake. It was a miracle. No one had thought he would survive, and honestly, now that he’d survived his sacrifice? Even he isn’t sure how he should respond. He’d expected to die. He’d planned for that to make up for everything. So? Finding himself alive again … he couldn’t help but wonder if he hadn’t done enough.
This verse can go many directions: However? Regardless of where it’s placed in the timeline or who found/helped him, he’ll always be wondering about Munakata. He’d nearly died for him. He’d chosen to try to die for him. Including destroying his own arm, cutting it off, to try to save the other. So? Regardless of where he is, his thoughts will be with him – so? Depending on what happens, depression, anxiety, as well as paranoia may follow. ( Especially if he has no way of contacting Munakata, or hasn’t found him yet. )
On the other hand, you’ll see what I did there, if it’s a few years into his recovery… and he’s managed to pull himself together, or run into his former boss again, he’ll probably be a lot more relaxed. Finally able to put the past mistakes he’d made behind him, he’s got a bit of a different air about him nowadays. And? A new robotic arm. ( Told you, you’d see. )
Pre-Danganronpa - A member of Class 74, and the newly recruited Ultimate Boxing Champion, this is where Juuzo Sakakura ended up meeting his future best friends: Kyousuke Munakata and Chisa Yukizome. Of course, there were some rocky moments at the beginning. But? They were able to look past that - After all: It was during this time that Juuzo completed his championship, and by graduation, he’d decided to give up his professional career as a Boxer, despite being the best, so that he could help his friends out. That’s dedication.
Juuzo Sakakura is an ancient warlock – existing since the time of Babylon Tower, when man thought they could build a tower to reach heaven. Due to this, he has existed for so long that he’s got a lot of very particular … ticks about him. He has a dialect that can’t be traced to any one place. He has a graceful walk of someone who has been everywhere, seen everything. He has amethyst eyes, which always glow a little – and glow brighter, as his magic, of the same color, is used.
( He also has no belly-button and has a dark-gray, almost black, tongue. But? He doesn’t talk about those things. Nor does he talk about the fact that his particular bred of warlock has no heartbeat – well? At least, until they meet their soulmate … )
Juuzo Sakakura is the Regulator of Orsus. Meaning, for most purposes, he is both the mayor of the island and the sheriff. He’s in charge of helping make sure all the different members of the Folk get along while living here – harmoniously, or? At least as harmoniously as you can expect from such different creatures. He’s lived here for a long time, so? A little at a time he’s molded this island into what he feels is the safest for those he has living there. Including impossibly high cliff faces, except for the singular dock that works as the entrance. ( His office is located around here. ) And the “beach facing” in the middle of the island. Proving that he’s wasted way too much of his magic hollowing out the island at least a little, to create a beach for his residents. Good thing the island is actually pretty big. ( It’s just unable to be taken a picture of – due to his ancient magic guarding it. )
He is the son of a “greater demon” and a “hero of old” ( meaning someone who was born of a human and angel parent – biblically speaking ), which is why he has so much strength, as well as the magic to maintain all of this.
During the events of Danganronpa 3: Despair - Juuzo Sakakura has decided to do whatever he can to help out his friend, Kyousuke Munakata. Including? Infiltration. Becoming the “Head of Security” for Hope’s Peak Academy, he’s gained access to most of the place - and has the permission to watch out for troublemakers. Of course, his true objective is Kyousuke’s. He’s here to find whatever evidence he can to help the other with his mission. And? In the meantime, he’s been informed to do what he can to guard their shared friend, Chisa Yukizome… whose gone undercover as well. She’s become a teacher. He’s become a guard. Between the two of them? They should be able to find something right?
Name: Juru Sakakura
Juru Sakakura is the “Ultimate Boxing Champion.” She is smart, quick witted, and after winning every other title available for it - they finally let her go for the World Championship. Finally proving her spot there, just like anyone else. She is confident in her strength. Confident in her abilities. And yet? She does have some complications in school… and otherwise.
As is often the case with women in professional sports that most people consider “manly,” people have often taken to teasing her and calling her names - Or assuming things about her. For the most part? This has never bothered her. After all: In sports, people tend to get competitive. That can bring out a certain cruelty in people. She expects that, and it doesn’t bother her. However? She doesn’t want to bring that sort of cruelty to the people she cares about most…
So? Despite being a bit more cheerful then her male counterpart, she tends to restrain herself on a more personal level. After all: She can deal with the teasing and the bullying. ( If she has too? She can break some faces… ) But? She knows that she’d lose it if someone started giving ether Munakata or Yukizome a hard time, because they’re her friends. … she loves them too much to ever let that happen.
( Aside from those differences? This is more or less an add-on verse - So? It can be in connection to any of the verses above. And? Is available, mostly by request. )
This takes place during the main timeline of “Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.” After Monokuma has taken over the school, and has announced the “Mutual Killing Game.” Makoto, despite the unfortunate circumstances, tries his best to remain optimistic… Believing the best in his classmates, and still trying to mentally prepare himself for the worst. (Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!) He’s a little forgetful at times and perhaps a little too trusting…
But? He always tries his best. Regardless of the circumstances!
This takes place immediately after “Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc,” and goes into “Super Danganronpa 2: Good-bye Despair.” (So! It also is the branch for “Danganronpa AE: Ultra Despair Girls,” if we want to do anything during that timeline~) Makoto is more confident, having obtained the title “Ultimate Hope” from his friends after his show down with Junko. However? This confidence, and his belief in others, still leads him into trouble. He is a strong believer that even the worst people deserve a chance…
This is also the verse that will be being used for anything from Danganronpa 3, the Anime. So, anything with the DR3 killing game will take place during this verse.
Before the events of “Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.” ( This can also work for Despair-less verses, as well. ) Makoto was accepted into Hope’s Peak Academy based on a “lottery system,” chosen to be their candidate of “Ultimate Lucky Student.” (Super High School Level Lucky Student.) Though he’s not sure he’ll fit in, he couldn’t turn down the surprising opportunity. He’s thrilled to be there, and hopeful that school life there will be everything he’s read about prior. I mean, “Guaranteed success” awaits those who graduate, right? That’s hard to pass up.
Warning: Spoilers to “Danganronpa: IF,” an unlockable story at the end of SDR2. Makoto, through a strange act of luck, upon the beginning of the Mutual Killing Game… Has managed to pull off the most unlikely stunt possible: Pulling the “Escape” button from the Monokuma Machine. A button designed to give the presser something of a zap that would slowly allow them to recover their memories…
[ For this: We can interact during these events? So, assuming Makoto just pressed the button, but elsewise things stayed the same… Or? We can do it after everything is said and done, and people are leaving or recovering, etc. Plotting is cool~ ]

Mameka is an older sister as well as the “lucky” duck who managed to win Hope’s Peak Academy’s once a year lottery, to decide who would recieve the title “Ultimate Lucky Student,” out of the masses. Though she doens’t feel she’s earned this right, she simply couldn’t help herself - it was hard to turn down an offer of success for the future, even if you don’t feel like you’ll fit in.
( For the most part, this is an add-on verse. So, this verse may appear in addition to one of the many other verses I have around~ And is mostly available by request. )
Along with the remaining “Survivors” from the massacre that took part at the Future Foundation, they’d strived to put back together Hope’s Peak Academy. And, with the finished result, we now have Naegi trying to figure out the basics of being the Headmaster - Not a goal he’d ever set his mind to before. But, now that he’s decided to do it? He needs to figure it out to the best of his abilities.
“… things will work out. I’m sure!”
A highly unlikely scenario plays before everyone’s eyes as the curtains rise on this little play and show: A mechanical bear showing up and telling everyone that they had to kill one another? That’s just insane, isn’t it? But, what’s even more unsettling? Is the one who seems the most normal? The small one whom only got pulled into this scenario because of a lottery… Is the one pulling the strings. Makoto has a complicated mind-set: Loving his classmates dearly, but wanting to destroy them to prove that being “ultimate” didn’t make them superior, due to a restlessness he’s felt for a long time… an eagerness he can’t put his finger on, or entirely understand. “Why did I do this? Hee… R-Really? You find out who it was, and that’s all you’ve got to say? Come on~ This has to have warranted a bigger response then that.”
[ My mastermind Makoto isn’t obsessed with despair? I’ll leave that as Junko’s thing. However? He is obsessed with his classmates. He truly does care for them all, deeply. He’d go as far as to say he loves them. But? It’s that obsessive love that makes him want to destroy them as well. Because he knows that the whole world is looking at them, longing for them, trusting them to bring hope into the world with whatever success they achieve. He doesn’t want the world to have them, however. And would much rather be the one to end them… so that their life, their light, their success? Will become part of him. ]
A resident of Orsus, Makoto Naegi has lived there his entire life. He has never tried leaving the safety of a Safe Haven, and doesn’t believe he would be able to survive outside of their home… He isn’t particularly strong, and if it came down to it? He’s not sure he could will himself to use his magic on anyone, regardless of whether or not it was for his own safety.
On the island? He tends to the gardens and such – He is considered something of the “grounds keeper” for the entire islands gardens, parks, and the likes. And? As a hobby, he runs a small florist shop.
Makoto is a Faie, a branch of Fairies, that have existed for a very long time. Their origin is from a line of demoted Angels – neither fallen, nor supportive of heaven, they have been demoted to living their entire lives on earth. And for their “sin of indecision” they, and every member of them born afterwards, have had their wings ripped off at birth by an arch-angel. It is their punishment for choosing neither side during the war of heaven and hell. Now, years of existence has aligned them to their new nature – giving them flat-colored eyes which do not reflect light. ( They still have the iris and pupil, but their eyes simply do not reflect anything. So? They can look a little dead to some people… ) Their ears have become pointed as well, and the tips of those ears? Share the color of their eyes. [ The duty of the Faie, given their original holy origin, is now to watch over the earth itself. Protecting it and nurturing it. It is an impossible job, but? It is the duty they were given, while true “angels” and “demons” fight over the souls of men. ]
Alternative path! On the off chance that Hakuryuu had decided to stick around after the events that caused him to ditch the group - of course, things are a little awkward. He did attempt to leave. But? He had been convinced to come back after Morgiana had followed after him. Things might get interesting from here on out, however? He has decided to see what sticking around does for him...
Hakuryuu has known since the fire... who the traitor was and what he needed to do. This is the main verse for this blog, and the main one for the canon series. After leaving the others, he’d made many sharp decisions in the hopes of obtaining revenge for what happened to his family. And trying to gain vengeance against those he preceived to have done him wrong... ( and those who actually did. )
This is the verse where he teams up with Judal/Judar and gains himself a second Djinn.
Refusing to give in his two Djinn’s when they became “illegal,” Hakuryuu is on the run. This is his time skip verse.
