❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ Chatting like this, getting to know him more each day-just these sort of little things always brighten her day and just his reaction to it made her smile, even more, it was cute. She knows that her partner wasn’t the social type of person, however, seeing that he starting to improve bit by bit least its progress which was impressive.
Honestly, she didn’t mind being with him in the least as just being around him gave her comfort and she doesn’t mind if he still hides in his spaces since she also too find it comfortable but that what makes him unique. Her eyes lit up as soon as he spoke though, she never actually done something like it before so it was new to you. ❝If it’s no trouble for you at all, then sure.❞ Smiling even more as she held her plushy more she gave a small nod to what he said. She was glad that he liked the name she has giving to it there, it was hard coming up with it though.
❝I’m glad you liked it then,I don’t know what your favorite sweet was so I kinda had to improvise but I’m glad it turned out well. Yeah, it’s dark chocolate I tried not to make it too rich in flavor. ❞ Giving a small nod and hum into her words there and to his ones too. Making sweets and the such is one of her strong points plus she grew up seeing her mother makes them too-in fact speaking of sweets…. ❝You’re right about that there though it wasn’t much of a problem to me making it. In fact, it was fun for me. I don’t really mind making them if you enjoy them then that matters most to me-in fact speaking of sweets, when is it your birthday Hijirihara-san?❞ He never actually told her much about himself actually so this is a start.
“I wouldn’t mind.” Hijirihara reassures her in a moment – it was surprising for him to agree so quickly, but? Honestly, he liked his creative hobbies too. And teaching her how to make them while showing her the process of making the next one? He wouldn’t mind. It would be nice, even. Though, he would ether have to figure out if she’d let him come to where she stayed or bring all the supplies to the office. His house was… ah, unpresentable.
Though he was starting to wonder if he should make the next one a red-ish color, so that she might name it “ R O S E “. Though he was a little too awkward to bring up that he knew the game she was referencing.
He wasn’t much of a gamer, but he’d once had a friend who had those hobbies. So? He dabbled into those sorts of activities from time to time. “… dark chocolate was perfect. I prefer a bitter chocolate.” Hijirihara says, smiling just a little bit more. If anyone saw him right now – at his desk, acting like a normal human being, smiling? They wouldn’t believe it. But, these were the little ways he was willing to compromise with his partner to try to make her happy too. “Though, white chocolate has it’s… charms as well. In small quantities.” Cookies-n-cream flavors were particularly good.
“I didn’t know… that you enjoyed making things like that. I’ll keep that in mind.” Perhaps he could try to find her a candy-mold… he’d keep that in mind for other possible gifts. “… my birthday? Ah, well…” With that, Takumi Hijirihara stops for a minute. He doesn’t usually go into detail on himself, but? Given how long they’ve been partners… perhaps it was time he shaped up about that. “Ah… October. October 20th.”
Traveling monk from the same temple as Isanami - he considers himself her big brother, and when he found out what happened? Went on a grand search to try to find her. Once he did? He wound up being recruited into the Brave’s as the “Brave of Earth.”
Brave 10 S verse! Having worked alongside of everyone for a while now - he’s become more used to his fellow Braves, even the ones he’s not entirely sure of what to think of them yet. And? More so, he’s become a lot calmer. Which is good, given that Isanami doesn’t have to threaten to not talk to him anymore to try to get him to behave.

❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ She didn’t need to be lectured nor did she need to be reminded how wrong one mistake would lead to her end but that didn’t matter in the slightest. If she could at least get through with this and tried to talk to him then that would make a difference, she was a pacifist at heart, kind to a fault and above all-patient when it is needed. ❝I don’t need to be an Ultimate to have a talent, to be bound by just one. ❞ Breathe, and relax. That’s all she needed to keep her composure and not fail this task. Being calm is needed and honestly, she has faced death almost before yet that was a long time ago and it’s the same right now too. She wasn’t anything special but if she can reach out to others then that is all that matters to her, she could relate to people yet not relate to them at all. ❝I want to make a difference that’s all. Even if my efforts are so little, so little that it goes unnoticed yet if it impacts it just slightly then that matters most to me. Being able to save lives and having those lives to live another day when some can’t matters mostly. ❞ Unlike her….if I could save others from the same fate then that’s fine. One step, two step, stay positive. ❝The boss views you Despairs as targets and wanting to kill you, whatever Munakata-san says, goes to the boss there. I don’t believe that a happy ending will come true if ALL of Despair itself will vanish, there’s need to be an equal balance between both Hope and Despair. To me, you Remnants are victims, yet victims that are not monsters. My goal is to talk and not capture if I’m able to make it out alive. ❞
Happiness nor hope was a fleeting and fickle thing, her light was snuffed up so death was welcoming to her. But right now she has someone to get back to so failure wasn’t an option. ❝My skills alone won’t be able to do that-maybe in the future you’ll likely be saved. For now I just want to hold up a conversation. As said before I only want to talk, capturing isn’t an option for me. I always like to get to know the person I’m talking to before I judge them if they are worthy of my trust. I am kind to a fault afterall and…everyone has a few skeletons hiding in their closet including me but you don’t need to know what is it.❞ She took a few more steps if her experience taught her anything is to take risks and jump at fate so she just have to hold her breath and continue forward. ❝I’m fine! If I can’t do this alone then it would just be another blow to my self-esteem or my pride. ❞
For a moment, his eyes widen just a little – those words reminded him a little of someone, but? In his extreme disassociation of being SERVANT, he couldn’t recognize whom said it. Confusion sits obviously in his expression now. Almost to the point of FRUSTRATION.
With that, the DESPAIR-obsessed youth frowns. Biting his lower lip in irritation. Why couldn’t he remember who said that? Or said something similar? He knew s o m e o n e had once spoken along those lines to him before – and who was it? Who? “… is that something you believe? Or is that something you learned?” Nagito’s words, this time, sounded confused. Perhaps that was simply the view of the S M A L L trying to make themselves feel better. But, he could also remember one who was (h o p e) speaking of a TALENT like c h a i n s. Something that captured them and held them to do a singular thing. . . “You’ll often find those with the title Ultimate serve to have many talents and sub-talents, in relation. Are you saying that we are trapped by these titles?” Not that he often considered himself part of those “ULTIMATES.” – that was why he could become something as lowly as a SERVANT to those tyrannical children. . .
Though, as she spoke, Nagito listened quietly this time. What an ODD goose. She wanted to make a difference – even if it was only to a handful of people. Could such a miniscule goal even be considered a goal? If everything she ever accomplished only helped a handful of people who also didn’t accomplish anything . . . wouldn’t that be infuriating?
He wanted to ask, his lips parted to do so, however – this time his BAD LUCK kicked in. A coughing fit starting up due to the access of DUST in the air. And, due to it, he collapses onto his knees. Shifting his weight a little roughly, and both would hear the SCREECH of ground moving because of it. He could hear the distressed metal crying out as remnants of it attempted to hold up the remaining ground. “… i-is… that so? What a strange… dream.” Nagito laughs out the words a little. He couldn’t understand those words, honestly. He couldn’t understand her point of few. After all: He’d already written her off as someone of “no importance.”
It would take a miracle for the current Komaeda to even remotely accept what she said. His brain twisted with both HOPE & DESPAIR.
Now that he’d settled a little – the coughing fit having stopped, the ground stopped moving as much… however? The ground was weaker now. And cracks were forming at an alarming rate. Komaeda knew that if he stayed where he was, even if she didn’t come over here, he’d end up falling. However? He had no fear of d e a t h – this was his game. He’d set it up, and he wouldn’t move. “… victims, hmm?” No. Nagito wouldn’t consider himself a victim. The only VICTIM died far before this – the person he’d considered his classes H O P E had vanished from them that day. . . long ago. “Are we truly what you would consider pitiable? That’s almost… laughable, honestly.” He smiles a little then. However, given his current state of kneeling on the ground, he didn’t look… as in control as he’d once been. At this moment, SERVANT almost looked like a victim. Tired. ALMOST SAD, even in his smile. “If you can get to me, I have agreed I’d go with you. So? If you want to talk – if that’s the reward you seek, then fine. Come and take it.”
WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD BE MADE FROM TALKING? H o n e s t l y everything she said confused him: but, perhaps that was alright. “… you’re a strange girl.” She wanted to help him? She wanted to talk? To build a future where he might be saved? He couldn’t tell if she was optimistic or pessimistic. But? It was … funny, to see how her brain worked.
If she continued as carefully as she was… she might truly make it. He could see her carefully shuffling along. She was obviously used to this breaking world. However, with his earlier coughing fit, if she got too close? The ground would collapse. Would she be able to reach him? Truly? He smiles a little… not noticing the blood that trickled down his lip to his chin. ( when he earlier bit his lip in frustration – he’d managed to do some damage. ) “I shall not move, then.” The words were earnestly spoken, though a part of him still believed she couldn’t do it… she was now much closer. If she kept it up at this pace, she might truly be able to reach him.
… he couldn’t tell if he was SURPRISED or IMPRESSED that she was truly willing to do something so risky. Especially if she knew his former t i t l e.

This is the verse that will be used for the main timeline of SDR2: Though the idea of an “island vacation” had seemed somewhat appealing, once he’d begun to warm up to the idea – once Monokuma arrived and entirely ruined that peaceful image? He’s become terrified. Due to his history, trust doesn’t come easily. And once he has been given a reason to distrust anything or anyone? He’s the first to become unapproachable. He’s easily excitable: quick to anger, quick to scream, quick to run away. However, he is also quick to apologize when he has found out he is wrong. ( Prideful at times, but not so prideful that he won’t admit a mistake. )
With Monokuma defeated, everything on the island is… well, about as normal as it could possibly be. I mean, there is still the fact that he got dragged out his school and somehow magically got teleported to an island in the middle of nowhere. So? He’s a little jumpy and skeptical from time to time. However, he wants to warm up to the scenario. After all! This was a legitimate chance to get to know others, make some genuine friends. Perhaps, as weird as it was, this was better than going to Hope’s Peak Academy? Maybe? Just maybe?
Originally uninterested in the day to day of normal school life, after he arrived at Hope’s Peak Academy, where it is unnecessary to attend core classes, he was eventually brought into the fold by his enthusiastic new teacher, Yukizome. At first, it was a little overwhelming. However? He quickly found himself becoming fond of the bunch. Doing what he could to help them and genuinely becoming part of the group. It was complicated at first, but he even found himself getting along with classmates he’d initially written off as unapproachable or just annoying… In general? He’s pretty peaceful here. Though, he can still be known to occasionally make a big deal about little thing…
His whole life he’s been willing to be the victim. He didn’t fight back. He didn’t often stand up for himself. And? The few times he did, he would back down. Not now. Kazuichi, having fallen into despair, is fighting alongside his companions with something of a new sense of… freedom? This makes him unpredictable and violent. Creating weapons of the likes no one has ever seen before. He is an enthusiastic member of the “Remnant’s of Despair.” Quick to violence and slow to show mercy.
Despite being one of the people whom were able to walk out of the Neo World Program, he chose to stay. He, like the others, were unwilling to abandon those still locked into their forced “sleep.” And, until the day arrived where they had all woken up? He had been unwilling to leave. When the boats finally arrived, he and the others took it over – it was time to repay the favor done for them. It was time to continue to live as “despair,” despite their overcoming it. They would work as a focal point. Something for the world to call an enemy. Even if it was all for show.
Due to his own lack of confidence and the fact that his father didn’t want him going? When Kazuichi received his letter of invitation for Hope’s Peak Academy, he simply declined it. He was one of the man mechanics for his father’s shop – sure! It was just for bikes, for now, but? It was never going to get anywhere without him anyways, right? Plus: They had to be mistaken. He was just the child of the head mechanic of the shop. He may be part of the shop, but? Being able to repair bikes… hardly counted as “Ultimate” anything.
A young wyvern lord, he was given the ability to shift into a humanoid form mostly for political reasons. Given that most races have agreed to stay hidden from the public eye, for safety reasons, though? His race was not one of them. Instead, his race had argued against it for years. Choosing, instead, to adapt to becoming a “deep sea” race, rather than a coexisting member of the “Folk” on the surface. However? Kazuichi isn’t content to just hide away forever in the bottom of the ocean. So? He went to the Council and had them teach him how to become humanoid – and is going to give living at a Safe Haven a few years to see if it’s really as bad as everyone kept making it out to be. After he has made his decision, he intends to return to the others with his decision. Yay or nay.
In his humanoid appearance, his teeth remain pointed – due to the nature of his races’ bones, they are rather difficult to hide. They are also venomous, if he feels threatened. Even in his human form, he’s able to summon his leathery wings at will – though? He also always has obvious lumps on his back to prove they are there. ( They always look pained and uncomfortable, taunt and white, like his bones are trying to poke through his skin. ) When particularly irritated, his eyes will slit – and scales will break through his human skin.

❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ Even though it wasn’t her business to ask, she was getting more concerned about his well being seeing him coming back with another injury from somewhere. She was told to stay back this time due to falling a bit behind on her reports so she had to catch up on them again. ❝Geezs, sometime along the line of how long we’ve been partners for, I’m going to lose count of how many times you walk in with injuries you know…. ❞ She sighed lightly as she walked up to him, doing a quick check if there were others. ❝I don’t know how you manage to get these wounds this time but I’m starting to get worried more about you. Let get these cleaned up before I can dress them, I should have a spare roll of bandages somewhere on my desk. ❞
To be entirely honest, Hijirihara couldn’t remember when exactly he decided to start relying on his partner more – even though he’d come to consider her a friend, there was a lot of risk in relying on her. He was a dangerous individual himself. He attracted danger, and? Well, to that end, he ended up like this. This was worse then some other times, but? It wasn’t life threatening.
He hadn’t needed help. He could have managed to bandage himself up – and yet, he’d found himself dragging his feet all the way to where he knew his partner would be. “… sorry.” Though apologizes weren’t usually a part of the awkward young man’s vocabulary, he found himself trying more. After all: He did feel bad that he worried her. . . “It’s not as bad as it looks, though?” He adds, his voice more of a question.
By comparison to how the “OTHER GUY” had looked, it wasn’t bad. Plus, some of the blood wasn’t his own…
And the other had been left hacked to pieces in the same manner that he’d left others. The other had liked to leave his victims with little humanity left – making it near impossible to identify them when found. He had done the same. As the KILLER KILLER, that was his signature. Unfortunately, however, he hadn’t accounted that the other might have a gun. Nothing about the others previous killings had hinted about the other using any sort of firearm…
“… should I start cleaning the wounds?” He asks, tilting his head ever-so-slightly at his partners comments. He could move towards the bathroom and wash himself up a bit if it would help, but somehow he felt she had a specific way she wanted him to take care of this.
Alternative path! On the off chance that Hakuryuu had decided to stick around after the events that caused him to ditch the group - of course, things are a little awkward. He did attempt to leave. But? He had been convinced to come back after Morgiana had followed after him. Things might get interesting from here on out, however? He has decided to see what sticking around does for him...
Hakuryuu has known since the fire... who the traitor was and what he needed to do. This is the main verse for this blog, and the main one for the canon series. After leaving the others, he’d made many sharp decisions in the hopes of obtaining revenge for what happened to his family. And trying to gain vengeance against those he preceived to have done him wrong... ( and those who actually did. )
This is the verse where he teams up with Judal/Judar and gains himself a second Djinn.
Refusing to give in his two Djinn’s when they became “illegal,” Hakuryuu is on the run. This is his time skip verse.

As much as he missed the other servamp greatly he was thankful it had just been the elder Alicein to come to his rescue, he hadn’t really wanted to see what would happen had it not been. Misono would be unhappy as it was that he hadn’t been back as soon as he had promised he would have been.
“I greatly appreciate that, i really do. If you hadn’t come along i’ve no idea how long i would have been stuck, more so if i had been taken to far away from Misono. Please do let me know if there is a way i can thank you for your help.” He had always been, very careful to keep within the distance they could move freely from each other, not wanting to cause his eve any pain like that. The help still had him by surprise but just maybe it reminded him of when Mikuni has been younger, both the brothers had been such sweet children.
“He very much would and i would never hear the end of it, nor would i have enjoyed worrying him like that. I must be more careful from now on and pay attention to those around me, or possibly stay out of the veiw as much as possible.”
Even saying that, he remembered the last time the same thing happened and knew it would most likely happen again, there weren't any other butterfly like him so it was to be expected people would do this again. Noticing a shady place he’d be able to stay within, he flew to it, before changing from a butterfly. With any luck he’d be able to stick to the shadows as much as possible on his way back to avoid being caught again.
Despite his surprising amount of self-control – the words the other spoke had him frowning a little. The truth was simple: If Misono and Lily had been separated too far, too long? It would have been painful. And that was an unpleasant, frustrating, thought.
“You’re just too gosh dang pretty, Lily.” He muses aloud, in a sigh. Offering a quicksilver smile towards the SERVAMP of LUST – and a playful wink. A quick cover-up to his genuine concern for his brother. Misono was someone who he worried about frequently, despite his EXILE from the ( Alicein Househould ). “What ever are we gonna do if one of these times they refuse to give ya back? We’d have to initiate a full scale recovery mission! Wouldn’t that be funny?” The thought of having to break into someone, anyone’s house, to rescue a captured butterfly? Was hilarious. “I think if someone saw Jeje in their house, they’d just straight up die. He’s so tall! It would be intimidating, for sure~”
He was being PLAYFUL – whimsical, as he always was. Though, Mikuni does raise an eyebrow at the others comment about paying him back. “Ah, nah, forget about that. I owe you a lifetime of favors, watchin’ after little Misono for me. You never need to worry about something like that.” This time, the blond laughs – the sounds is mirthful. It was true, he was ever grateful for the others presence. The face that Lily was with Misono always reassured him and made him happy. He could always trust that the other had his little brothers well being in mind…
“… bein’ careful is for the best, that’s for sure.” He whistles then, laughing a little. He couldn’t blame people for being interested in the BUTTERFLY, Snow Lily was a pretty one… At least it made more sense when people were interested in him. ( he still didn’t understand why people thought s n a k e s where cute nowadays… ) “But, if you’d like? I can walk ya back. I know I’m not allowed on the estate anymore, but that doesn’t mean I can’t escort ya.” He offers, looking at the taller blond.
Kuroyuki was sent away from Koga at a young age, so that he might master the techniques used by another Clan. It’s a difficult arrangement, and despite it’s awful sides, he did offer himself up for this oppertunity, because he felt it was the only way that he could also contribute to guarding his dearest friend. Since returning, people often say he hasn’t “changed a bit”. A notion he finds charming, but doesn’t often comment about.
An alumni of Hope’s Peak Academy, nowadays, he finds his talent isn’t very... practical? Despite HPA’s credibility for instant success in the outside world, his talent isn’t exactly sought after. It’s alright, though. He isn’t upset or hindered by this fact. In truth, he has been hanging around campus a bit more now... considering asking for a job in the “art” portion of the school.

❛ Hanzo, have you ever burped out fire before? ❜ [ i was going through my drafts and there was this conversation isanami had with a friend where if someone ate too much spicy food that's how they breathe fire or something and now i'm going to do the noble thing and spam braves who have control over elements with stupid questions ]
A snort escapes the BRAVE of FIRE when his smaller companionasks him that – oh god. These werethe sorts of things she thought about? This was what she became curious enoughabout… that she hunted him down to ask? Truly?
“Have I evermentioned that I love the way your brain works?” The crimson-haired manasks, aloud, as he reaches to ruffle the others hair carefully. He didn’t wantto mess it up, though, he was very amused. “BecauseI do. Truly.” He wasn’t really teasing, ether. As an IGA shinobi, he thought it rather sweet that this was how his smaller companion’s head worked. Howshe ticked.
As he’d always been a warrior, he couldn’t say that he’dever had such a genuinely innocent thought…
But? “I think theonly time I did something like that,” He starts, scratching at his cheek ashe averts his gaze. It wasn’t an… overly embarrassing story, but it was stillsilly. An amateur mistake made by an amateur. “Waswhen I was younger. Part of my training was to take alcohol into my mouth, so thatI could surprise my enemy. My teacher told me I was supposed to use it as anaccelerant. I did, but? I hiccupped? Long story short – I got into a lot oftrouble for setting stuff on fire that I wasn’t meant to.”
He grins a little, half-awkwardly. If anyone else had asked,he would have just laughed at them for asking a “s t u p i d” question. But sincehis young friend had asked? He would tell her the truth. Even if it didn’t painthim in the light of being the “ultimate shinobi” that the name “HATTORI HANZO” implied.“Keep it between us, though, will you?” Headds, putting a finger to his lips. “Nobody got hurt in that incident, but? If Ilet it be known that I did such a thing, Saizou will know it was me who burnt theside of his home in Iga, while he was out training with his master andAnastasia once…” By that, he was saying this – yep. He’d been young at thetime. But? He had been older then the other two already. He was considered a “professionalamateur” at the time. An official shinobi, but? With limited experience. So?That sort of slip up… well… didn’t look great.
And so far, he hadn’t been caught for thatincident. At least not by them, so? He’dlike to keep it that way.

THAT CONFLICT HAD BEEN A MERE EXCUSE FOR Yuna not to step into Ueda anymore, lest she wished to act on her impulse and strangle that man. The low chuckle once that image popped into her mind was revealing how pleased she would be if she did that. However, Yuna had to be mindful of the people who worked for that man, along with his family. They did not need to be needlessly involved into a dispute which did not concern them, nor had to suffer pointlessly. It was a clash of ideals, nothing which would have incurred her wrath enough to kill him. Perhaps the desire to see him cornered was tempting, yet out of respect for the people who believed in him, she would lay low, thus the decision to avoid going into Ueda. Meeting with Anastasia or Isanami could always occur in other locations, rather than there. Yuna did not mind and it was better anyway.
❝ So, did he complain that somebody did not respect him and it was a woman, above all? ❞ No matter how kindly Isanami spoke of him, Yuna would not share that opinion, thus she propped her cheek into the palm of her hand, her tone dull and lacking interest. It was too bad he did not have a proper reaction and chose to keep that facade and only showed a bit of emotion slipping. What a boring man. Perhaps even their conflict could have been solved, would he actually be genuine to his emotions. Although it sounded.. fake coming from her, who had so much difficulty showing how she felt, at least in such situations, she did her best to convey what was important, rather than allow misunderstandings step in. ❝ My only satisfaction, well partly, is that I hit him hard enough for his cheek to be swollen, haha. That should have hurt, but that is not even an ounce of how people feel. Perhaps not now, but leadership can be a burden which weights too heavily if not handled properly. ❞
It was a weight she carried as well, all alone. No matter how many people stretched out a hand, she barely relied on them. There were things only she could do and should do, without having to take those hands and ask for help, but they were still there. It was only because she would rely and trust them. Because instead of being a leader, most of times she chose to be one of them and listen to them, rather than selfishly take decisions. For someone as him who did not show anything but that irritating smile, for how long would people be able to trust him, to put their lives into his hands? For somebody such as herself, that was nothing but a time problem, which could be decided any moment. That kind of leadership was a gamble, because in the end, no one could understand him. Was he even a bit close to the people who chose to follow him, aside the Braves? Even then, she doubted there was any kind of connection aside his self-interest for whatever purpose.
❝ My bad to contradict you, Anastasia, but I know plenty people who would be frustrated with his way of leading. ❞ No matter in what kind of good light she tried to pain him, Yuna did not see Yukimura that way. Not after their little spat and how little consideration he showed towards one of his fallen subordinates. Even if Hanzo proved to be alive at that time, it did not change the fact that he treated that death… lightly. While she could understand the importance of not showing weakness, of being a figure on whom people could rely, it did not mean they did not wish to see a glimpse of emotion from their leader. ❝ If they would have Yukimura as the one who leads them, well.. I can only imagine the worst case scenario. I am not perfect either as a leader, however I do try to show sympathy and solidarity when people need it, when the situation requires it even if moments after, I return to being myself and make the right decisions. Even if my heart breaks apart, I let my people know that they can count of me and that I understand their emotions, even if a little. Sometimes, this is more than enough for people to feel close to their leader, to gain more trust and actually feel like the person they follow does what they can in spite of how tough a situation is. ❞
Considering how much they mentioned Yukimura in that conversation, Yuna hoped he was hicupping somewhere. That thought alone made her snicker in amusement. However, if Anastasia said she was alright with him as a lord, she could let that little dispute slide. Only out of consideration for her. Rubbing her temples, as that man was giving her a headache even when not present, she could only blankly stare at the woman when she was told she would deny them their pay if she chose to do anything to Yukimura. With a defeated sigh, she rose her head towards the sky, allowing the gentle wind caress her locks. ❝ Yes, yes, whatever you say. I hope he hiccups until he dies then. If I had the chance to redo things of that day, I would do them in the same fashion anyway. ❞
Anastasia sighs a little when her friend makes her comment. Complain? Not… quite. “Lord Sanada informed his page what happened because he had an obvious bruise on his cheek and had done some damage to his room – if he hadn’t explained what had happened, I think Rokurou would have worried that he’d been attacked by an enemy shinobi.” Not quite complaining. It was to keep the Page – the BRAVE of WATER from panicking about the safety of his Lord, especially right before a war was to break out. “… I know you dislike him, but you’re acting like he’s a complaining child.”
It was a funny mental image, even if inaccurate. Yukimura could be a bit childish, so the fact that she could imagine him sort of whining about it was funny. And had he been in a better mood at the time, there was a good chance he might have “WHINED” about it towards his page in hopes of getting some sympathy points from his strict right-hand-man.
However, the blond woman falls silent again as the other spoke. Sapphire eyes watching as the crimson-eyed woman spoke. It was . . . curious. As an IGA shinobi, she couldn’t entirely understand where the two of them were being so stubborn. Anastasia had always been business first, herself. And YUKIMURA was emotional most times – though a steeled leader when it came to emergencies. Yuna? She appeared to be somewhere… in between those things. ‘… it’s sort of charming.’ Honestly, she could barely keep herself from smiling – though she managed to, out of respect for the others frustration.
It wasn’t until Yuna stopped speaking again that she waved her hand in a somewhat dismissive manner. “I know you mean no disrespect to me by saying those things.” The BRAVE of ICE reassures, laughing softly. “You’re entirely correct. I know many people who his leading style would only frustrate them. However, I’ve… come to feel right at home there. He… actually sort of reminds me of one of my old teachers, in Iga.” To be honest, the Russian kunoichi rarely spoke of IGA. Especially after everything had happened – but? Now that she was really thinking about it, she was starting to wonder if that was part of the reason she actually enjoyed working under that eccentric man. He sort of reminded her of h i m . . . the man who had gone out of his way to save her from her enslavement. “… though, I somehow feel as though you’d hate my teacher even worse then my lord, so? Perhaps I should… leave that conversation alone for now.” Her… “TEACHER” was a rather odd topic. And if Yuna disliked Yukimura, perhaps it was best she knew very little of that man. It seemed like it would just further boil the others blood…
“… I can’t say I agree with your assessment as a leader, though. He shows plenty of sympathy to those in his employ, and he shows his compassion while at work. I’ve never seen a lord risk his own life for one of his guards before, and yet? When I betrayed the team before – he was quick to get to Rokurou’s side and make sure he recovered. If he hadn’t done that, he would be dead.” And if it wasn’t for the quick actions that happened around then – there was a chance that Anastasia would have done more then destroy his eye, and stab SASUKE through. ( a time she wasn’t proud of, but? she would bring it up all the same. ) “He personally sat by his page’s side to be sure of his recovery, taking care of him even though he’d lost the thing that had made him so valuable in the first place.” Anastasia continues, laughing at little at the absurdity of the thought. The reason the UNNO family was important was because of that e y e . . . and yet, Yukimura had kept him there even after he’d lost it. When most would have fired him… That was the world they lived in. If you lost your use, you weren’t worth keeping around anymore.
And yet, that wasn’t how ether SANADA worked. And both employed the UNNO TWINS, despite the absurdity of “t w i n s” in this country…
“I’m starting to wonder if a big part of your disconnect has to do with the fact that you are someone who wasn’t particularly close to him yet… I’ve truly never seen this ‘cold’ side of him, that you’ve mentioned. Once I was hired, I became part of his Braves, and no such wall was shown to me. Yes, that… irritating smile has always been a part of him. But, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced the side of him you’re talking about. Not even when he hired me once again.” When he’d welcomed her back, it was his genuine KINDNESS that had hurt her the most. Shackling her here . . . Honestly, she’d expected to be killed. And she would have been alright with that, and yet? That wasn’t what happened. “Oh maybe,” she adds, laughing softly – amusement beginning to shine in her eyes a little. “He’s heard about your connection to his brother.”
Yukimura was an interesting one – and he had a lot of RESPECT for his elder brother. Though? They’d never been particularly close. In fact, there were times that Yukimura appeared afraid of his elder brothers “RAGE.” Nobuyuki only showed that irritated side around the younger SANADA…
There was a good chance that YUKIMURA had made up his mind to not get to know her better, especially if he heard that Nobuyuki and Yuna had amicable relations. After all: Nobuyuki appeared to have a complex when it came to his brother – Yukimura wouldn’t have wanted to interfere if Nobuyuki was making a friend. And he certainly wouldn’t have wanted to dampen the chances of them getting along by also imputing himself.
“… sorry, sorry. It appears I’ve managed to annoy you, friend.” Anastasia continues then, watching the other rub at her temples – a headache, she would imagine. “Talking about him probably isn’t helping with that, I’d imagine. Forgive me. Though,” she snickers at the thought of the LORD of UEDA with severe hiccups – oh goodness. At this time of the day? Rokurou would scold him, likely thinking that he’d gotten to drinking far too early. “I love the thought of him hiccupping uncontrollably. He’d be so frustrated. I would imagine he’d be pouting now, then. And, though I do enjoy working for my Lord... it’s actually nice to talk to someone who is from the outside of all of this. It gives me... another view of the situation. I enjoy our talks.”
