Leader of the Future Foundation’s Eighth Branch, Ruruka Andou is a bit cold and distant – A leader, as well as a member of the Future Foundation, but clearly disagreeing with certain key concepts that they run by. She is the former Ultimate Confectionist, having been kicked out of Hope’s Peak Academy … after a particularly eventful batch of tests. She is only particularly close to the leader of the Ninth Branch, Sonosuke Izayoi.
Despite being kicked out of Hope’s Peak Academy – She’s managed to make the best of things. Eventually buying and opening up a shop of her own. Which? Has done very well. Even being a disgraced member of Hope’s Peak Academy, means you have a lot of skill. So? People still happily come to her shop. And? In her own ways, she’s made peace with what has happened – She’s still successful. It’s not like she was ruined. And? She’s even begun reaching out to the people she blamed for what happened. It’ll do no one any good to stay bitter forever.
Alternatively ; She was never kicked out of Hope’s Peak Academy, and continued to study there alongside of her friends – However? Eventually, as events played out, she eventually learned about how she was treating Seiko. It was a harsh lesson. One she didn’t appreciate, nor did she really want to realize. But? Once the truth was out there … she did her best to figure out what she was doing wrong. Of course, it’s not an immediate change. But? She is trying to be a better friend for … all of them, honestly. She doesn’t want to be that person.
Despite the sheer effort she’d put into trying to kill herself, being under control of the brainwashing power of those videos … She managed to live. If only barely, she managed to live. She will never be the same. What she saw in those videos … did more to damage her then any of the wounds she inflicted upon herself. She is full of regret, full of anger, and… She is determined to keep living. If she’s alive, when her friends can’t be… she is determined to live. “If I’m alive, despite my efforts to kill me? Then I need to live. If not for me… then for them.”
She is not quite the same. She is damaged, slower, she has a lot more trouble making things. She has scars all over, emotionally and physically … And Ruruka will continue to stubbornly try to survive. And to make some sort of contribute to the slowly rebuilding world.
Recently brought into Hope’s Peak Academy’s class of 76, she is the Ultimate Confectionist. And as such? She is known to make many different types of candies, sweets, pastries, cakes – Desserts in general are her specialty. However? She does have a very particular personality. Feeling vulnerable, she tends to keep herself around her stronger friend, Izayoi … but? Having confidence issues, having her friend Seiko unable to eat her candies … hasn’t helped. This has made her a little bit bitter-sweet. Even if she understands what the other says, about being unable to eat them, it still is a blow to her confidence.
Ruruka Andou is a very busy woman. Often busy with scheduling, setting up meetings, as well as trying to meet with new local talents … You can say one thing for sure: She is one helluva manager. When she’s decided to take a personal interest in any particular talent, be it a singer, an artist, a musician… ? Whatever? If she’d decided to put her stamp of approval on them, she’ll be the first person to burst into any scene to try get the person she’s backing the support and advertisement she feels they deserve. She is the first to be at the scenes for good deals, the first to actively be looking for advertisement availability – signs, ads, commercials, etc. She is passionate about what she does, and who she helps. live.
Name ; Rikiya Andou
The Ultimate Confectionist and a former member of class 76, Rikiya is a strange young man. And, also, the current Head of Branch 8. He is strong willed, passionate, and confident in his abilities – However? Despite the confidence he shows, he is also somewhat fragile. He doesn’t trust people who have betrayed him. And? He is very slow to forgive a perceived offense. He frequently becomes nervous in life threatening situations, as he’s not willing to die, and because of that? He often finds himself half-hiding behind his stronger friends…
Ruruka has somehow survived the “DEATH GAME,” and? Has decided to leave the Future Foundation – Deciding, instead, to start her own group. She had mentioned wanted to do so, and after the carelessness of what happened? She had stated from the get go that she’d thought it was a bad idea for them all to be gathered, so? When things went wrong, she hadn’t been surprised. Now, the leader of a group she calls “DREAMS&DAYS,” a group that she has dedicated to helping fix the world in her own way. Perhaps it’s not as efficient as the Future Foundation had been … But as far as she’s concerned? They can shove it.
Gentle in appearance but quick to anger – Ruruka is actually one of the people who have been on Orsus for at least ten years now. In fact: She’s settled in pretty well! Making her own café and running it, more or less, on her own. ( She’s hired help here and there, but she often fires people… )
She is a young harpy by most standards. And? For the most part, she would prefer people don’t bring up her race at all. She tries to spend most of her time pretending that she isn’t a harpy… Though she considers herself a member of the Folk, she gets deeply offended when people bring up the stereotypes and history of her race. (After all: many legends call her race hideous and cruel – so?) Being a little over a hundred years old, she’s finally able to turn her wings into arms, and keep her talons into only sharpened nails. The only trait she is entirely unable to hide are her ears, which are feathered.
When surprised or angered, her eyes will flash a warning, predatory, yellow. And her teeth become jagged and sharpened – when she becomes her harpy form, she has control over wind and can summon storms. However? The fact that she’s uncomfortable with what she is, and she doesn’t like to pull attention to that fact? She has never learned to control these things.
Determined to fix the problems he knows exists, Run decided he would do whatever he could to become someone of great importance - so that someday, he would be able to call some of the shots. Make some changes. Stop... future tragedies from ever happening the same way again.
This has been a bumpy road for him. Leaving him unable to do things exactly how he wanted to... despite his best intentions. And, eventually, this route of live leads him to finding the person responsible for his whole change in life. After all: He’d only been a simple school teacher before.
SPOILERS: After a very specific event, “Run” isn’t really there - and yet he is. Certain pieces of himself remain, leaving some of his tendencies to show, despite himself.
In this AU - Run ran into “NIGHT RAID” while he was still trying to think of a plan of action. He’d honestly always been something of a toss up, despite wanting to fix things. And having run into them, despite being unsure at first, he decides to work with them. Honestly, when it comes down to it? He just wants the situation to be fixed.
No matter how it needs to be done.

“As I’m not really good at lying – I’ll be entirely honest with you: It’s a little bit of both. I have some questions about how I should go about handling some of the youths in my school. And, furthermore, I was hoping you might give me a bit of your time personally. I’m… not mistaken in the fact that it is your birthday, correct? I was hoping you might be willing to spend it with me.”
The young headmaster wasn’t a liar. He wasn’t good at it and he wasn’t willing to even try – Munakata had been through enough without trying to deal with the former Ultimate Lucky Student’s shenanigans. The very least he deserved from Makoto Naegi was some honesty, and he was willing to give that to the older man as directly as he knew how. I mean, it embarrassed him a little to admit so upright that he’d had a bit of an ulterior motive for inviting the other here – in fact, the crimson that began to dust his cheeks a little would only further confirm his own awkwardness at things like this, but? The stubbornness behind his eyes wouldn’t waver.
“Of course, you don’t need to.” He continues, scratching his cheek a little – awkwardly, though he does smile. “I just… I thought it might be nice to catch up with you. And I feel like it’s… just lonely to be traveling about, especially on your birthday.” It was out of concern for the other that he did this: And, sure, he wasn’t sure entirely whether the other would find that annoying or not – but he still had to give it a shot.
Munakata was a big part of the reason he’d become the man who he’d become now. And he’d learned a little more about putting his foot down and standing up for what he believed in due to everything that had happened – now that he was Headmaster of the Reestablished Hope’s Peak Academy, he wanted more then ever to keep getting stronger. Learning more. Becoming someone who could do justice for the talented youths whom had found themselves under him now. “And regardless of your answer: I’ve prepared some coffee and even a small cake. So, at the very least, would you mind sharing those with me while we speak of the students?”
He was much more stubborn now as a young man then he was as the ULTIMATE LUCKY STUDENT he had once been. He was shyer then. More unsure. But? He wouldn’t give up now.

Competitive and charming, Gakushuu is well-liked among his class - Even if he and his father are, somewhat, eerily similar. He is charismatic, charming, and will pull all the stops to win when he finds himself in a position to compete. However? He does have an honor code - And is only willing to go so far, unlike the Headmaster.
However? He does not have a high opinion of those in the “End Class.” As that is the nature of their schools system, he - like so many of the others, treated them like lesser students. But? As things continue to play out, he is beginning to recognize them as genuine rivals.
Ether by a string of bad luck or out of an attempt to drive out the hidden force behind Class 3-E, he’s suddenly found himself being welcomed into the “END CLASS.”
And? Despite having gotten himself there … He is absolutely baffled by what he finds. Sure. He had expected an exceptional teacher. Clearly! But… I don’t think any amount of resolve could have helped him expect what he found when he arrived.
AU Collaberation with [ @carnifcx ]. Engaged to her Nagisa Shiota, in this verse!
The only prince born to his father, the king, it was seen as very important that he immediately marry. And? As soon as his father found him a suitor he deemed … well, suiting, he arranged the marriage without any more prior notice. This could be… troubling. Especially because his father, the kind, and the mother of the “bride”… seem to get along far too well…
Ardyn “Izunia,” as he chooses to be called, is the Chancellor of Niflheim. And? Because of that, he holds a position of importance - He calls a lot of shots, as well as does a lot of large-scale planning. A lot of Niflheim’s advantages, both magically and technology wise, have to do with the things he’s ether hinted at … Or downright given them. He has his own goals, however. He always has. And it has relatively little to do with the success of Niflheim’s conquest.
Approaching with a different name and acting the part of the friendly “stranger,” Ardyn has decided to do something of a… experiment. He’s been working at his goal for years, usually watching those involved at a distance. This time? He’s decided to do it from a fair bit closer.
He doesn’t expect this’ll change the results. Why would it? When he’s worked so long at something, he’s hardly about to change his mind. His methods, however? He’s used the same ones for so long. It’s time to change it up a bit…
Fate has always been a cruel mistress - Ardyn is more familiar with that then most people. However, despite how bitter he’s become, despite how long he’s been around, he has never seen a turn of events like this. The young prince, the fated king, has decided to come to him in hopes of… what? Overthrowing this world that was willing to throw him to the wolves?
… how interesting.
Unwilling to wait, the moment he found out that Noctis was going to be the “Chosen King,” he took matters into his own hands - Going to the capital and raising all sorts of hell. Leaving it near destroyed, and the boy? He took with him.
After that, he left the capital - using magic to help the boy’s memories sink to the bottom of his mind. Leaving him confused, but? Not without those memories. Eventually, when everything was said and done, they’d return. They’d float back to the surface, as long as Ardyn wasn’t around to use the spell anymore. In fact? Ardyn has prepared notebooks of information related to the capital, related to Noctis, about his abduction, who his real family is - Everything. But? For now, he’s decided he’d raise the boy who would eventually kill him. He wanted to make sure … He wanted to ensure that, this time? Things would end.
The young hero determined to become the king - the young man who was determined to help his people with the scourge! Ardyn is young, determined, and driven. He is willing to sacrifice himself and his time for his people’s well being and health.
This is before anything that lead to his exile - and? He’s only just barely beginning to feel the side effects of his ability to help those in need. So? He’s at his healthiest, and at his most basic mindset. Without years and years of hate tainting it, you’ll find he’s a pretty pleasant guy, all things considered! A little exhausted - but? You’ll have to expect that a little, given how hard the guy works.

If she could at least get through with this and tried to talk to him then that would make a difference, she was a pacifist at heart, kind to a fault and above all-patient when it is needed. ❝I don’t need to be an Ultimate to have a talent, to be bound by just one. ❞ Breathe, and relax. That’s all she needed to keep her composure and not fail this task. Being calm is needed and honestly, she has faced death almost before yet that was a long time ago and it’s the same right now too. She wasn’t anything special but if she can reach out to others then that is all that matters to her, she could relate to people yet not relate to them at all. ❝I want to make a difference that’s all. Even if my efforts are so little, so little that it goes unnoticed yet if it impacts it just slightly then that matters most to me. Being able to save lives and having those lives to live another day when some can’t matters mostly. ❞ Unlike her….if I could save others from the same fate then that’s fine. One step, two step, stay positive. ❝The boss views you Despairs as targets and wanting to kill you, whatever Munakata-san says, goes to the boss there. To me, you Remnants are victims, yet victims that are not monsters. My goal is to talk and not capture if I’m able to make it out alive. ❞
Happiness nor hope was a fleeting and fickle thing, her light was snuffed up so death was welcoming to her. But right now she has someone to get back to so failure wasn’t an option. ❝My skills alone won’t be able to do that-maybe in the future you’ll likely be saved. For now I just want to hold up a conversation. As said before I only want to talk, capturing isn’t an option for me. I am kind to a fault afterall and…everyone has a few skeletons hiding in their closet including me but you don’t need to know what is it.❞ She took a few more steps if her experience taught her anything is to take risks and jump at fate so she just have to hold her breath and continue forward. ❝I’m fine! If I can’t do this alone then it would just be another blow to my self-esteem or my pride. ❞
For a moment, his eyes widen just a little – those words reminded him a little of someone, but? In his extreme disassociation of being SERVANT, he couldn’t recognize whom said it. Confusion sits obviously in his expression now. Almost to the point of FRUSTRATION.
With that, the DESPAIR-obsessed youth frowns. Biting his lower lip in irritation. Why couldn’t he remember who said that? Or said something similar? He knew s o m e o n e had once spoken along those lines to him before – and who was it? Who? “… is that something you believe? Or is that something you learned?” Nagito’s words, this time, sounded confused. Perhaps that was simply the view of the S M A L L trying to make themselves feel better. But, he could also remember one who was (h o p e) speaking of a TALENT like c h a i n s. Something that captured them and held them to do a singular thing. . . “You’ll often find those with the title Ultimate serve to have many talents and sub-talents, in relation. Are you saying that we are trapped by these titles?” Not that he often considered himself part of those “ULTIMATES.” – that was why he could become something as lowly as a SERVANT to those tyrannical children. . .
Though, as she spoke, Nagito listened quietly this time. What an ODD goose. She wanted to make a difference – even if it was only to a handful of people. Could such a miniscule goal even be considered a goal? If everything she ever accomplished only helped a handful of people who also didn’t accomplish anything . . . wouldn’t that be infuriating?
He wanted to ask, his lips parted to do so, however – this time his BAD LUCK kicked in. A coughing fit starting up due to the access of DUST in the air. And, due to it, he collapses onto his knees. Shifting his weight a little roughly, and both would hear the SCREECH of ground moving because of it. He could hear the distressed metal crying out as remnants of it attempted to hold up the remaining ground. “… i-is… that so? What a strange… dream.” Nagito laughs out the words a little. He couldn’t understand those words, honestly. He couldn’t understand her point of few. After all: He’d already written her off as someone of “no importance.”
It would take a miracle for the current Komaeda to even remotely accept what she said. His brain twisted with both HOPE & DESPAIR.
Now that he’d settled a little – the coughing fit having stopped, the ground stopped moving as much… however? The ground was weaker now. And cracks were forming at an alarming rate. Komaeda knew that if he stayed where he was, even if she didn’t come over here, he’d end up falling. However? He had no fear of d e a t h – this was his game. He’d set it up, and he wouldn’t move. “… victims, hmm?” No. Nagito wouldn’t consider himself a victim. The only VICTIM died far before this – the person he’d considered his classes H O P E had vanished from them that day. . . long ago. “Are we truly what you would consider pitiable? That’s almost… laughable, honestly.” He smiles a little then. However, given his current state of kneeling on the ground, he didn’t look… as in control as he’d once been. At this moment, SERVANT almost looked like a victim. Tired. ALMOST SAD, even in his smile. “If you can get to me, I have agreed I’d go with you. So? If you want to talk – if that’s the reward you seek, then fine. Come and take it.”
WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD BE MADE FROM TALKING? H o n e s t l y everything she said confused him: but, perhaps that was alright. “… you’re a strange girl.” She wanted to help him? She wanted to talk? To build a future where he might be saved? He couldn’t tell if she was optimistic or pessimistic. But? It was … funny, to see how her brain worked.
If she continued as carefully as she was… she might truly make it. He could see her carefully shuffling along. She was obviously used to this breaking world. However, with his earlier coughing fit, if she got too close? The ground would collapse. Would she be able to reach him? Truly? He smiles a little… not noticing the blood that trickled down his lip to his chin. ( when he earlier bit his lip in frustration – he’d managed to do some damage. ) “I shall not move, then.” The words were earnestly spoken, though a part of him still believed she couldn’t do it… she was now much closer. If she kept it up at this pace, she might truly be able to reach him.
… he couldn’t tell if he was SURPRISED or IMPRESSED that she was truly willing to do something so risky. Especially if she knew his former t i t l e.
THAT CONFLICT HAD BEEN A MERE EXCUSE FOR Yuna not to step into Ueda anymore, lest she wished to act on her impulse and strangle that man. The low chuckle once that image popped into her mind was revealing how pleased she would be if she did that. However, Yuna had to be mindful of the people who worked for that man, along with his family. They did not need to be needlessly involved into a dispute which did not concern them, nor had to suffer pointlessly. It was a clash of ideals, nothing which would have incurred her wrath enough to kill him. Perhaps the desire to see him cornered was tempting, yet out of respect for the people who believed in him, she would lay low, thus the decision to avoid going into Ueda. Meeting with Anastasia or Isanami could always occur in other locations, rather than there. Yuna did not mind and it was better anyway.
❝ So, did he complain that somebody did not respect him and it was a woman, above all? ❞ No matter how kindly Isanami spoke of him, Yuna would not share that opinion, thus she propped her cheek into the palm of her hand, her tone dull and lacking interest. It was too bad he did not have a proper reaction and chose to keep that facade and only showed a bit of emotion slipping. What a boring man. Perhaps even their conflict could have been solved, would he actually be genuine to his emotions. Although it sounded.. fake coming from her, who had so much difficulty showing how she felt, at least in such situations, she did her best to convey what was important, rather than allow misunderstandings step in. ❝ My only satisfaction, well partly, is that I hit him hard enough for his cheek to be swollen, haha. That should have hurt, but that is not even an ounce of how people feel. Perhaps not now, but leadership can be a burden which weights too heavily if not handled properly. ❞
It was a weight she carried as well, all alone. No matter how many people stretched out a hand, she barely relied on them. There were things only she could do and should do, without having to take those hands and ask for help, but they were still there. It was only because she would rely and trust them. Because instead of being a leader, most of times she chose to be one of them and listen to them, rather than selfishly take decisions. For someone as him who did not show anything but that irritating smile, for how long would people be able to trust him, to put their lives into his hands? For somebody such as herself, that was nothing but a time problem, which could be decided any moment. That kind of leadership was a gamble, because in the end, no one could understand him. Was he even a bit close to the people who chose to follow him, aside the Braves? Even then, she doubted there was any kind of connection aside his self-interest for whatever purpose.
❝ My bad to contradict you, Anastasia, but I know plenty people who would be frustrated with his way of leading. ❞ No matter in what kind of good light she tried to pain him, Yuna did not see Yukimura that way. Not after their little spat and how little consideration he showed towards one of his fallen subordinates. Even if Hanzo proved to be alive at that time, it did not change the fact that he treated that death… lightly. While she could understand the importance of not showing weakness, of being a figure on whom people could rely, it did not mean they did not wish to see a glimpse of emotion from their leader. ❝ If they would have Yukimura as the one who leads them, well.. I can only imagine the worst case scenario. I am not perfect either as a leader, however I do try to show sympathy and solidarity when people need it, when the situation requires it even if moments after, I return to being myself and make the right decisions. Even if my heart breaks apart, I let my people know that they can count of me and that I understand their emotions, even if a little. Sometimes, this is more than enough for people to feel close to their leader, to gain more trust and actually feel like the person they follow does what they can in spite of how tough a situation is. ❞
Considering how much they mentioned Yukimura in that conversation, Yuna hoped he was hicupping somewhere. That thought alone made her snicker in amusement. However, if Anastasia said she was alright with him as a lord, she could let that little dispute slide. Only out of consideration for her. Rubbing her temples, as that man was giving her a headache even when not present, she could only blankly stare at the woman when she was told she would deny them their pay if she chose to do anything to Yukimura. With a defeated sigh, she rose her head towards the sky, allowing the gentle wind caress her locks. ❝ Yes, yes, whatever you say. I hope he hiccups until he dies then. If I had the chance to redo things of that day, I would do them in the same fashion anyway. ❞
Anastasia sighs a little when her friend makes her comment. Complain? Not… quite. “Lord Sanada informed his page what happened because he had an obvious bruise on his cheek and had done some damage to his room – if he hadn’t explained what had happened, I think Rokurou would have worried that he’d been attacked by an enemy shinobi.” Not quite complaining. It was to keep the Page – the BRAVE of WATER from panicking about the safety of his Lord, especially right before a war was to break out. “… I know you dislike him, but you’re acting like he’s a complaining child.”
It was a funny mental image, even if inaccurate. Yukimura could be a bit childish, so the fact that she could imagine him sort of whining about it was funny. And had he been in a better mood at the time, there was a good chance he might have “WHINED” about it towards his page in hopes of getting some sympathy points from his strict right-hand-man.
However, the blond woman falls silent again as the other spoke. Sapphire eyes watching as the crimson-eyed woman spoke. It was . . . curious. As an IGA shinobi, she couldn’t entirely understand where the two of them were being so stubborn. Anastasia had always been business first, herself. And YUKIMURA was emotional most times – though a steeled leader when it came to emergencies. Yuna? She appeared to be somewhere… in between those things. ‘… it’s sort of charming.’ Honestly, she could barely keep herself from smiling – though she managed to, out of respect for the others frustration.
It wasn’t until Yuna stopped speaking again that she waved her hand in a somewhat dismissive manner. “I know you mean no disrespect to me by saying those things.” The BRAVE of ICE reassures, laughing softly. “You’re entirely correct. I know many people who his leading style would only frustrate them. However, I’ve… come to feel right at home there. He… actually sort of reminds me of one of my old teachers, in Iga.” To be honest, the Russian kunoichi rarely spoke of IGA. Especially after everything had happened – but? Now that she was really thinking about it, she was starting to wonder if that was part of the reason she actually enjoyed working under that eccentric man. He sort of reminded her of h i m . . . the man who had gone out of his way to save her from her enslavement. “… though, I somehow feel as though you’d hate my teacher even worse then my lord, so? Perhaps I should… leave that conversation alone for now.” Her… “TEACHER” was a rather odd topic. And if Yuna disliked Yukimura, perhaps it was best she knew very little of that man. It seemed like it would just further boil the others blood…
“… I can’t say I agree with your assessment as a leader, though. He shows plenty of sympathy to those in his employ, and he shows his compassion while at work. I’ve never seen a lord risk his own life for one of his guards before, and yet? When I betrayed the team before – he was quick to get to Rokurou’s side and make sure he recovered. If he hadn’t done that, he would be dead.” And if it wasn’t for the quick actions that happened around then – there was a chance that Anastasia would have done more then destroy his eye, and stab SASUKE through. ( a time she wasn’t proud of, but? she would bring it up all the same. ) “He personally sat by his page’s side to be sure of his recovery, taking care of him even though he’d lost the thing that had made him so valuable in the first place.” Anastasia continues, laughing at little at the absurdity of the thought. The reason the UNNO family was important was because of that e y e . . . and yet, Yukimura had kept him there even after he’d lost it. When most would have fired him… That was the world they lived in. If you lost your use, you weren’t worth keeping around anymore.
And yet, that wasn’t how ether SANADA worked. And both employed the UNNO TWINS, despite the absurdity of “t w i n s” in this country…
“I’m starting to wonder if a big part of your disconnect has to do with the fact that you are someone who wasn’t particularly close to him yet… I’ve truly never seen this ‘cold’ side of him, that you’ve mentioned. Once I was hired, I became part of his Braves, and no such wall was shown to me. Yes, that… irritating smile has always been a part of him. But, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced the side of him you’re talking about. Not even when he hired me once again.” When he’d welcomed her back, it was his genuine KINDNESS that had hurt her the most. Shackling her here . . . Honestly, she’d expected to be killed. And she would have been alright with that, and yet? That wasn’t what happened. “Oh maybe,” she adds, laughing softly – amusement beginning to shine in her eyes a little. “He’s heard about your connection to his brother.”
Yukimura was an interesting one – and he had a lot of RESPECT for his elder brother. Though? They’d never been particularly close. In fact, there were times that Yukimura appeared afraid of his elder brothers “RAGE.” Nobuyuki only showed that irritated side around the younger SANADA…
There was a good chance that YUKIMURA had made up his mind to not get to know her better, especially if he heard that Nobuyuki and Yuna had amicable relations. After all: Nobuyuki appeared to have a complex when it came to his brother – Yukimura wouldn’t have wanted to interfere if Nobuyuki was making a friend. And he certainly wouldn’t have wanted to dampen the chances of them getting along by also imputing himself.
“… sorry, sorry. It appears I’ve managed to annoy you, friend.” Anastasia continues then, watching the other rub at her temples – a headache, she would imagine. “Talking about him probably isn’t helping with that, I’d imagine. Forgive me. Though,” she snickers at the thought of the LORD of UEDA with severe hiccups – oh goodness. At this time of the day? Rokurou would scold him, likely thinking that he’d gotten to drinking far too early. “I love the thought of him hiccupping uncontrollably. He’d be so frustrated. I would imagine he’d be pouting now, then. And, though I do enjoy working for my Lord... it’s actually nice to talk to someone who is from the outside of all of this. It gives me... another view of the situation. I enjoy our talks.”

Though it was much more in his nature to just let things unfold as they would – he couldn’t just sit on his hands and do nothing when he’d seen the familiar butterfly fluttering about. Snow Lily was a dear friend of the family, and if Jeje had been around . . . Well, as the two had always worked side-by-side in protecting the Alicein family? He could only imagine that things would have escalated from there. Luckily, Mikuni was on his own today. And he’d been able to get the child to relinquish his claim on the butterfly in his possession.
“Ah, ya never need to worry ‘bout me just leaving you trapped. Should I be in the area, I’m more then happy to help.” And, despite frequently just allowing the dominos to fall as they would – he was often around. So? With this comment, he’s more then happy to tilt his hat towards the other. A little gentlemanly gesture.
And as Lily had been one of his family’s… “GUARDIANS,” so to say, he certainly wasn’t about to watch one of them be accidentally abducted. Despite his tendency to play devil’s advocate. “Lucky timing, though. Misono would have had a heart attack if some kid decided they were gonna keep ya again.” The funniest part was that he could – truthfully – say a g a i n. Lily, All-of-Love, was certainly a beautiful butterfly.

Sometimes Messiah wondered if he had a self-destruct button that just… flipped itself, when he interacted with Titus. He’d honestly approached the other to simply offer him a gift on a holiday, and yet? He couldn’t resist the jab he’d decided to take at him. And yet, it hadn’t been his intention. It’d just slipped out. And before he could apologize – the other spoke.
“So, you’re trying to tell me you earnestly never steal anything just because you want to?” There was doubt thickly laced in his tone. He wasn’t the type of person to just take others at their word. And with this man in specific? ( He could be almost INHUMANLY distrusting. ) A problem he recognized. And one he was attempting to work on . . . especially given who they both worked for. And yet, here he was. Botching another attempt. ‘Genius I may be, and yet? Here I am.’ He cursed himself quietly, allowing the other to take his present, and crossing his own arms in turn. “It seems unlikely.” And here he was just shoveling further mistakes on top of the prior one. Rather then backing down, accepting his mistake for a moment – swallowing his pride and apologizing? Nope.
However, as the other shoves a bouquet against him, he blinks a few times. Confusion alight in his amethyst eyes, and he reaches for the offered gift. WAIT, WHAT? The other had gotten him something as well? Why??? It wasn’t as though the other had any reason to give him anything. ( It wasn’t as though he had a reason to give Titus anything ether, and yet? When he’d seen the box, he’d thought of him… not that he’d say that aloud. )
And despite being flattered, when the other made his comment, his eyebrows knit together a little – and he reaches out a gloved hand to take the others gift. “… I suppose I’ll hold my tongue, then. As you’ve already answered my question.” Messiah somehow doubted that was the absolute truth. But, he’d leave it alone for now. PERHAPS that was just his suspicious side, anyways. “Thank you. You’ve got a good eye.”
Oh look, he was able to say one nice thing.
“… perhaps you’d like to join me? I was going to a reservation I made for dinner.” He’d at least ask – even if he thought the other would likely decline. Though, he couldn’t resist making one more quick jab: “Though, I suppose I’ll have to make a side-trip now, as well. To drop off these flowers. But I suppose you can come along for that as well, if you’d like.”
He wouldn’t wait for an answer. In fact, he would turn on his heel and begin walking away from the THIEF. Why? Because he was starting to wonder what sort of hit he’d make if he just kept talking to the other. T r u l y, he was beginning to wonder if that’s just how he acted around TITUS. If he would, consistently, just attack the other for no reason at all. However: He hoped the other recognized the second part as being… somewhat kind? Messiah liked to keep people out of his private life. So? Up until now, he’d never offered to let anyone come to his house.
Especially not the thief.
They had a NEGATIVE history between the two of them – and it was a matter of T R U S T. Not that he thought he had anything there that the other would be particularly interested in. . .
