We Never Get To See What Most Of The Characters Were Doing For Halloween In Season 3 Of Sofia The First,

I just think Francisco and Luisa are such a cute couple. 

I originally drew this picture for early 2020’s EOA shipweek, but completed it late and decided not to post it back then. I recently colored it and so I can finally post it for this year's ship week.

Isabel:

Favorite thing about them: She tries to be cautious and find logical solutions to her problems. And sometimes her anxiety can overwhelm her but in the end she still carries on and succeeds.

Least favorite thing about them: The pink and yellow dress she wears as a formal dress in some of the earlier episodes, some people like it but for me the colours just really seemed to clash with each other on it.

BrOTP: Her friend group and her sister. Also Catarina.

Random headcanon: After the coronation day she starts a part time music band with Christina, Amara, Quique, and Olivia. She sings lead vocals and plays lead guitar(dion). Everyone just expected that it would be a cute little band that plays really happy songs but they surprised everyone when they instead played intense emotional ballads of angst. They were a huge hit. (Her family is concerned about this, but then she pointed out that it's her way of letting off steam as a teenager instead of doing something like overthrowing the kingdom or obsessive revenge. Esteban and Elena felt very called out but also couldn't disagree with her).

Unpopular opinion: Not so much about her personally but I believe that her first invention for moving the rocks in Class Act up the mountain (the crane) was a much better idea than just launching them at the top of the mountain. If there are any workers on top of the mountain while they are launching rocks then people could get seriously hurt, not to mention the shrapnel from the rocks splitting apart. And if they miss the shot at the top of the mountain then the rocks are going to end up flying off to who-knows-where including the town.

Favorite thing about them: She's very determined and is also a bit of a perfectionist. (Which I can relate to)

Random headcanon: One of her main hobbies is sailing and she's so good at it that she often steers the ship when her family goes out on the ocean. (She and Naomi would become fast friends if they met).

Hi! I don’t remember if I ever properly thanked you for the Carla and Vestia drawing that I requested from you a few months back. Knowing how the show pairs Jaquins with the humans, I would say that Vestia and Carla are a perfect match for each other in the same way that other humans and Jaquins in the show are paired together. Vestia was a rogue Jaquin who became a Gaurdian of Avalor again and was reaccepted amongst her kind. Carla is a Malvago turned Wizard who was accepted in Avaloran society

Yes, they do fit pretty well together. And they both seem to be really clever and determined so that would also match up if they were on a mission together. Plus, together they could probably make some of the sassiest comments you've ever heard!

I enjoy reading other people's posts where they watch episodes of shows and write reactions to things in the episode while they're still watching it. So I decided to make one for this new episode: Giant Steps.

So here's my Mini review. Overall I liked the episode, sure the big conflicts could have been avoided if people actually talked with each other about their feelings first before the disasters, but that happens so often in TV shows I'm almost used to it. I loved seeing the villain force again (especially Chatana). Hopefully we will see them again soon. I wonder what job Naomi will get now, (Maybe being the minister of ships)?

Indeed. I think under the guidance of a Master Wizard like Mateo, Carla would only thrive as a Wizard and become even more powerful. I wouldn’t be surprised if she ends up becoming a Master Wizard herself. She has the power and the talent. She just needs the guidance of a Master to get there.

Today is Friday, June 19th, 2020, which means it is the 250 day anniversary of the premiere of “The Magic Within.” In honor of that I created this sonnet:

Two hundred and fifty days it has been Full of waiting and thinking and moping Since the premier of The Magic Within All that I have been doing is hoping

Hoping that the plot threads will all end well Even though current prospects look quite bleak How the future will go, no one can tell And I can hardly wait another week

When will Carla be released from the jail And when will Victor be brought back from stone Will they forgive Esteban’s betrayal They may not, the answer is still unknown

But in a month, new episodes will start So I will be patient and not lose heart

I've seen fan designs of malvago!Mateo before which are all very fun and very dark, so I wanted to share my vision of him (and Olivia) as well!

All malvagos in the show seemed to have some kind of animal motif and when I was thinking about what animal he would have I headcanoned that maybe a malvagos’ motif is determined by what animal their chanul is. Then I thought about Mateo with big sleeve claws and decided that was perfect. (Sloths are normally solitary and nocturnal, which fits Mateo as well). 

Those fake claws used to be made out of metal but with his clumsiness he realized it was too dangerous for himself and changed them to silver coloured cloth. 

Olivia has an axolotl motif because I think that axolotls are cool. I'm sure it would factor into her magic somehow as well, like if she was in a fight and got hurt she would be able to quickly heal and regenerate stamina.
