My entry for Draw the Princess! I could not choose which Princess to draw, then I remembered that I didn't have to!

Hi there! Who do you think Elena wanted to choose before chosing her grandfather to dance with her?

I think Francisco was her first choice from the beginning, and if she didn't choose Francisco she probably would have chosen Isabel or Luisa. (Or possibly Esteban, but I feel like she probably decided who she wanted to dance with long before she had forgiven him).

Being crowned was a very important moment for Elena and while she cares about both her friends and family, she just gave her friends job promotions, which means she'll probably get to see them all for work-related things. But she probably won't get to see her family quite as much being Queen, so it was quite a nice gesture dancing her Abuelo instead of one of them

And even if none of her family members were there, I don't think she would have chosen Mateo, Gabe, or Naomi for a very certain reason. You see, in the song “Fit to be Queen” Gabe & Mateo both seem very keen about dancing with her. But the thing is whether you believe that either of them or just one of them or neither of them have a crush on her, the fact is they both wanted to dance with her. And they seem to view her choice as a choice between the 2 of them (when it wasn't).

It seemed to me like a resurgence of their rivalry from "Party of a Lifetime," where they were fighting over who was her "best" best friend. And I know they've fought with each other about other things since that episode but never about how much Elena liked them. I mean Elena just cringed away from both of them and put their hands together instead of holding either one of them. Because whether you believe she has a crush on either of them or neither of them, she recognizes this could become a point of contention between them.

If Elena had chosen Naomi, Gabe and Mateo could possibly have also taken that personally and added Naomi to their rivalry. (Don't get me wrong I don't think that they would be annoyed about it forever, but they might make a rash decision in the short term because of it.)

I do Headcanon that Elena probably danced with all 3 of them at some point during the coronation. It's just that since the “most important” dance was the first dance, she dedicated that one to her family instead.

That could work too. But she’d probably at least need to know a bit about this person's background. And maybe know some other people who mutually know this person and believe the person is a good person, to confirm that they are naturally sweet and not artificially sweet.

You know, I always wondered how Victor and Ash met and began a relationship in the first place. Especially if Ash was still hellbent on tracking down Zopilote and on the path of gaining unlimited power. I think chances are zero to none of Carla dating a “good” evil person. I can’t even see her with Alonso. Dating a Royal guard that is dedicated to protecting Avalor and dating the Royal Wizard would imply just how much Carla has gravitated towards goodness and good magic.

In the end it's up to interpretation, personally I like to think that they met because of their mutual interest in doing shady things. Mabey they met while trying to steal the same thing and then decided to work as a team to steal stuff and then it just snowballed from there. But ultimately Ash’s thirst for power was stronger than the connection she had with Victor. 

I think the chances are 0 as well, I was just speaking hypothetically. I can see the merit in either of those ships and it's cool if you ship them, but personally I'm neutral about them.

👑 - Favorite character? Victor Delgado. (He's the character I draw and think about the most, so logic dictates that he's probably my favourite). At first he seems like just a mildly threatening/fun villain, but as the show progressed you start to really care about him. Mainly because he's a good dad, that is a very important thing. But I don't think he really became my favourite character until “The Magic Within,” because as the old saying goes: When you can't have something, it just makes you want to have it more.

🌼 - Favorite episode? There are quite a few episodes that I really enjoyed. So just like Elena has more than one best friend, I have more than one favourite episode. But this time I think I'll talk about “Crash Course.” Bronzino’s song was great, the subplot was good at developing Dona Paloma, and it was really cute to see the guard squad together! But the heart of this episode was Gabe and Mateo’s relationship. From them sassing each other, to their fight, to them making up and sharing their insecurities with each other, and then working together to save the day, it was great!

👸🏽- If you could write a 4th season of the show, what would you have in store for elena’s future?

Elena must have a much greater scope of political abilities unlocked now that she has been crowned Queen, so would be interesting to see some of those. I also want to see her deal with a super serious political issue the outcome of which could determine the fate of the Kingdom. Like trying to stop a corrupt kingdom/organization from going to war with Avalor. (They do have a lot of powerful magical resources,  I could easily see an unscrupulous evil ruler wanting to get their hands on them). And then Elena has to use her political negotiation skills to stop them! If all else fails she could deploy the royal guard against them and see how that goes.

Speaking of the royal guard I would want to see more of General Núñez (He probably has some extra executive powers now too) truly leading them to be the best Royal Guard they can be. Maybe there's a bit of a fallout from Coronation Day, because even though the guards had learned magic by that point they weren't able to protect the palace and the town from the shades. Maybe Gabe has to build back up their morale. And after that they train more and become strong enough to actually defeat magical monsters and criminals. Or maybe they have to fight off an attack from that corrupt Kingdom, and save the Avalor in the process. (Also I wouldn't want to see any of the guards die per se, but if one of them got seriously injured it would be interesting to see how Gabe would react to that as well…) (I could talk about this all day but this answer is getting a bit long, but if anyone wants to ask me more about it I'd definitely keep expanding my ideas on this, or what I think other characters would be doing...)
