Who do you think the new Captain of the guard should be now that Gabe is general? I think Antonia Bello should be the new captain.
I find myself agreeing with you on that one Anon, even though she doesn't have as much seniority as a lot of the other guards, out of all the ones we've seen she does seem to be the best pick. The important thing about being Captain isn't being able to run the fastest or or jump the highest (Which is why I thought the competition for becoming royal guard Captain in ‘The Curse of El Guapo’ was kind of ridiculous). Instead one needs to have intelligence, patience, and good problem-solving skills, traits that she has in spades.
And the only other main candidate who comes to mind is Rico, and I just don't think he's as good for the job. Don't get me wrong, he's a good guard but he seems more likely to make rash decisions then she does. Maybe if the royal guard expands enough that they end up needing more Captains he could do a good job as another Captain, but for now it's probably best he says a lieutenant.
2021 Elena of Avalor Ship Week Day 6 - Dancing
I drew this a few months ago but only coloured it recently for ship week. Rafictor is one of my favourite crackships for EOA, so it’s essential to post this for shipweek.

Had to make some screenshot re-draw sketches of Queen Miranda because she is gorgeous. I also wanted to see what she would look like with short hair.
Here’s my piece for the @guidinglightzine featuring Victor and Carla! I made it alongside @lostbutterflyutau‘s wonderful fanfiction: https://archiveofourown.org/works/29487672. It was so much fun to be part of the zine!✨
[Image ID: A pencil crayon and ink drawing of Victor and Carla Delgado in the palace kitchen. They are both wearing green cooking aprons, and Victor is comforting Carla, they are both smiling. On the table in front of them are many small food dye bottles, a bowl, jars, a butter dish, and a crumpled paper bag. Behind them is a window with phacelia and nasturtium flowers behind it. End ID]
So, here's my first Sofia the First fanfiction! It features Roland II and Miranda having a conversation about something that they definitely needed to talk about eventually, and what better place to do it then there? (Trying not to give spoilers but I did put tag warnings on it just in case, because there are some heavy topics discussed).
I was re-watching “A Spy in the Palace” and noticed two things which I hadn't noticed before.
First of all this is adorable.
Second of all, isn’t it weird that Victor just happened to have this picture of Queen Lucia’s tiara in his coat?
Now it doesn't seem like something that he could have just found in the palace when he went there, or gotten from someone in town. It also seems unlikely that Shuriki had it, because why would she store a picture of the tiara in some secret place to retrieve later, when she could have just done the same with tiara itself.
So my theory is that Victor drew this himself. (It would explain where Carla got her artistic talent from).
It is definitely a very good drawing (In some ways, it's more detailed than the actual tiara)
Here's my drawing for the discord weekly challenge of Princess Rebecca, Princess Chloe and Princess Valentina! They're having an ice cream party.
Strange World spoilers out of context
(Extra spoilers under the cut)
Some mother son baking! I was inspired to draw this by @lieutenant-amuel‘s great fanfiction “Was Born To Lead.”

- the evil wizard
I think that them getting married on the same day they met is both the funniest option and the most stereotypically Disney option.
Although, I feel like they would have probably gotten to know each other a little bit before they decided on marriage.
But I still think it would have been a short time considering that their kids hardly know each other after the wedding and Tilly wasn't able to make it to the wedding, which could have been for any number of reasons but the wedding being on short notice would be a possible explanation.
It is never revealed in the show how long it was between Roland and Miranda first meeting and their marriage to each other. So how long do you think it was? (I can't have an option for every possible time-frame so just vote for the one that's closest to whatever you headcannon/theorize is the time frame).
(I've been wondering this for a while now, so I needed to make a poll about it. I need to know what the rest of the Sofia the First fandom thinks of this.)
