“Nanay! Tatay! Hi! Kumusta po kayo? Okay na ba kayo?” (Mom! Dad! How are you? Are you guys okay?) You say, excitedly, beaming at your phone screen before you set your phone down on a sturdy place to Facetime your parents while you continue to set up ingredients for tonight’s dinner.

Loki couldn’t help but take his eyes off of the book he was reading to watch you. He even smiled a bit as you laughed with your parents and showing your parents the food that was steaming nicely from the pan, the nice scent filling your nostrils. It was easier to filter out the chatter coming from all sides of the table, since you already had him up in his head. He really admired the way you openly grounded your culture, and even became rather interested in it.

I GOT AN IDEA! For headcanons! How about, reader is an artist and she draws A LOT! Like, she's so endorsed that she forgets to eat or drink water and Levi always prepares her snacks and things she loves and takes care of her! Reminds her to hydrate, cooks for her, gives her eyedrops so her eyes don't wither and die phahaha and sometimes even snatches away her iPad or canvas and threatens her to go take a break. He also gives rubs and massages because her back and shoulders are killing her 😄

Sometimes he gets legitimately frustrated that you get so engrossed in what you’re working on 

He doesn’t understand that you are an Artiste™️ and have things that need to tumble out of your brain right now immediately

Even if it is 12:45am and you were about to go to bed 

Even though he does literally the same thing

Has the audacity to ask, “Can’t it wait until tomorrow?” 

Um no

You always hit him back with the, “When has your work ever waited until tomorrow?” 

He starts to understand and inwardly really admires how much dedication you have towards all your creative projects

You obviously really love doing it and he thinks that’s amazing 

So who is he to squash that passion? 

And the more Levi thinks about it, the more he realizes you already thought that about his working habits and his hobbies

How many times have you graciously let him roll out of bed to go work on something? 

How many times have you encouraged him when he felt a little down/inadequate regarding his own stuff? 

So he starts really getting invested in your stuff 

Always asks you how your latest project is going 

Doesn’t press to see it until you feel comfortable showing him your progress

Levi even shares his workspace with you, and is only slightly miffed about the added clutter lmfao 

And is a very considerate boi and knocks every time before he comes in so he doesn’t startle you or accidentally walk in on a project you don’t feel comfortable showing him yet

Levi is the type to come knocking just to bring snacks!! 

If you’ve been in there for hours, it doesn’t even surprise him anymore

He just looks at the clock and goes, “Hmm...probably wants a snack now”

You’ve done that for him so many times and he really appreciates it, so he wants to return the favor tenfold 

He’s super observant about what types of snacks “help” you 

Like, your favorite fruit will get you going 

But a cinnamon roll or something super super sweet? Never again 

He's learned from his mistakes on snack choices

Above all, Levi is all about hydration

Truth be told, he still gets a little annoyed that you’ll just be out of commission for hours and so he’ll find excuses to just aggressively knock, stomp inside, and slam down some water lmfao 

“Levi I just had a full glass of water like an hour ago, I’m fine” 

“You think that was an hour ago? It was almost three hours ago, drink some goddamn water” 

Most of the time, you’re completely right and he’s severely bending the truth, but again, he’s making excuses to come and just be around you for a second 

Mostly to make sure you’re alive, but also to get some more updates on what you’re working on 

But again, mostly to make sure you’re alive

And, while you are getting better at it, you still tend to just lose yourself in what you’re doing and can be away for hours and hours and hours 

Sometimes pulling all-nighters (like Levi)

But those are the times he says “fuck that” and will actively rip out your stuff from out of your hands lmao 

Absolutely will insist on you taking a break

Especially with him

Would never admit that he misses you sometimes but he absolutely does

He knows you have your limits and it’s for your own good 

You do it to him too and he knows he does find it helpful, so it’s only fair he is mindful of how you’re doing and how you’re spending your time

Even if it does take you out of your “mojo”, you do appreciate it

Especially when you get those very coveted Levi Massages

Levi IS the supreme masseuse 

You’d think he may be a little too rough, but he’s actually surprisingly good at massages 

Especially shoulder massages

The neck he still sometimes squeezes a little too hard lmfao 

But the shoulders? Divine touch 

You choose to ignore him scolding you for your posture every time while he massages your shoulders 

Because hell, if he keeps massaging you like this, you might as well keep up the bad posture lmaooo
