Two of the (online) shops where I just started buying/wanted to buy, because they have cute stuff, are down. I hope they are continuing… One of them has been around since I was a kid and I had stuff from there for awhile. I just registered online and I can´t do anything... Wanted to peek around for christmas stuff. Thinking about prepping. Might have to look for alternatives.

On October 31st I read a book that took place during Halloween of 1996. I was born this year so I did a deep dive regarding this decade (music, clothes, movies, books …). Now I am hitting the repeat button for different 90s songs repeatedly - stupid earworms.

The last eight weeks of this year are upon us. Seems like yesterday that it started.

I heard fireworks a few hours ago. Come on guys! It is way too early.

Anyways: Try to make the most out of the next few days/weeks/months aka the rest of the year.

Yesterday I tried Dunkin Donuts for the first time. Not the real "in store"-feeling yet but that might change in the future (was surprised that they delivered to where I live).

The Halloween Donuts I chose, were:

First row, left to right:

SCARY BRAIN (filled with cheesecake cream, covered with purple icing and strawberry pearls)

MR. SKELETON (filled with white chocolate cream, covered with white icing and chocolate decoration)

BLACK WIDOW (unfilled, covered with red icing and triple chocolate munchkin)

Second row, left to right, vegan:

OREO SPOOK (unfilled, covered with white sugar icing, Oreo® crumbles and orange sugar decoration)

ZOMBIE (filled with apple filling, covered with green sugar icing and chocolate decoration)

MR. PUMPKIN is upside down (filled with white chocolate cream, covered with white icing and chocolate decoration)

Order, Delivery and Taste of both coffee and donuts were 👍🏻. Positively impressed. In addition I also got their original blend coffee, a stainless steel tumbler and a keychain. Not my last order!

Got all three of those paw badges.

They´re looking good up there and the boop-o-meter is also looking good. Don´t drop it until you got it ;) .

Even thou I haven‘t participated in the first Boop event earlier this year (Ides of March, assassination/stabbing of Julius Cäsar) I am glad I can/get to do it now. Kinda suspected/hoped the return of the Boop and especially during Halloween (😈😝).

A tired but satisfied start into this day.

Might adapt this post later.

I booped some more and figured out all three "Boop-Slaps" (boop, super boop and evil boop) until the end.

Tried to change it some more but it´s fine.

It was fun. Any chances we get to repeat it? It might get old at some point but I am not there yet.

Stayed up to get last boops out and to see if/when the Boop/the Boop-o-meter vanishes and Tumblr returns to its regular form. Kinda feels like Cinderella with the Pumpkin carriage… Something is missing. Even thou it was only there for a day (24 hours ish) it brought people together and I gladly participated. Certainly a memorable experience for my first Halloween here on Tumblr.

Wondering how many boops I sent/received altogether. Are there infos regarding the number of boops you have to give/receive to get to eg. MAX, OMG, LOL, TUM BLR? Looking back I wish I had kept track of the journey aka the development of the "Pumpkin"/Boop-o-meter. It looks like one of my donuts btw. .

At the start of the year I finally did take the „leap“. After what feels like forever (contemplaiting what I should post etc. …), I joined Tumblr (because there is no such thing as the „perfect“ time probably…). Instead of knowing my main sites theme from the start, I try to figure it out along as I go, because I have various interests and the road might be part of the journey, if you know what I mean.
