Washington State voters: don't forget to check your ballot status at https://voter.votewa.gov/ !
You can make sure your ballot was received and quickly fix any issues like the signature (one of the most common causes of rejected ballots)!
Oh yeah if you're a big ferry nerd like me you should know that 2117, in addition to cutting money for a bunch of other cool stuff (and making the climate and air quality worse), will cut money to be used for the new ferries which we so badly need

They'll cut billions from a strained education system, kill programs like free youth transit passes, and dismantle the state long term health care system.

If you aren't registered to vote in Washington State, you have until Oct 28th to do it online or by mail, or until Nov. 5th in person. There's still time but not a lot!
