Разногласия родителей из-за тяжёлой работы Марты закончились тем, что отец девочки ушёл из семьи, едва дочери исполнилось шесть лет, и учёная-медик была вынуждена растить дочь одна. Воспоминания об отце у Никки не самые лучшие, а потому его уход девушка считает не самым плохим стечением обстоятельств. У неё хорошие отношения с матерью, и они обе искренне стараются поддерживать друг друга. Всю жизнь прожив в Нью-Йорке, падкая до приключений девушка выучила каждый его уголок, давно подозревая, что в городе, как и с её загадочным дядей Каем, что пишет её матери письма из далёкой Амазонии, явно не всё так просто, как кажется на первый взгляд.
Что до её знакомства с Карай, то это происходит в конце первого сезона, как раз после того как Шредер раскрывает Сплинтеру страшную правду: Карай - его дочь. Полная сомнений после нескольких встреч с черепашками и непростым решением помочь сбежать Алакаю от Шредера, Карай встречает незнакомую девушку в одном из магазинов в городе, после чего между ними невольно завязывается диалог. Нуждающаяся хоть в какой-то компании и отдушине Карай внезапно находит в Никки отличного собеседника и компаньона на авантюры. Их общение очень быстро перетекло в лёгкий флирт, а когда обе девушки оказались окончательно очарованы друг другом, обстоятельства окончательно свели их не только друг с другом, но и с командой черепах.
WHAT ABOUT NIKKI
Nikki is the seventeen-year-old daughter of Martha. (Look at previous post) ->
The parents' disagreements over Martha's hard work ended with the girl's father leaving the family when her daughter was six years old, and the medical scientist was forced to raise her daughter alone. Nikki’s memories of her father are not the best, and therefore the girl considers his departure not the worst set of circumstances. She has a good relationship with her mother, and they both genuinely try to support each other. Having lived in New York all her life, the adventurous girl has learned every corner of it, long suspecting that in the city, as well as with her mysterious uncle Kai, who writes letters to her mother from the distant Amazon, everything is clearly not as simple as it seems at first glance.
As about her meeting with Karai, this happens at the end of the first season, just after Shredder reveals to Splinter the terrible truth: Karai is his daughter. Full of doubts after several meetings with turtles and the difficult decision to help Alakai escape from the Shredder, Karai meets a mystery girl in one of the shops in the city, after which a dialogue involuntarily begins between them. In need of at least some company and an outlet, Karai suddenly finds in Nikki an excellent companion and companion for adventures. Their communication very quickly turned into light flirting, and when both girls were completely fascinated by each other, circumstances finally brought them together not only with each other, but also with the team of turtles.

После предательства Ороку Саки, Ал пытается выследить того и отомстить, но оказывается похищен крэнгами и отправлен в Измерение-Икс на долгие пять лет. Пережив множество опытов и будучи обращённым крэнгами в огромного пса-мутанта, Алакай утрачивает свою человечность, превращаясь в озлобленное и испуганное животное. Ему удаётся сбежать лишь чудом - во время очередной лабораторной аварии - выпрыгнув в один из порталов, которой волей случая отправляет его в далёкую Амазонию, где вдали от цивилизации, в месте, где сильная связь людей с природой была всё ещё пропитана мистикой и таинством, Алакая находит местная шаманка Камария. Старая ведьма помогает мутанту вернуть не только рассудок и утраченные воспоминания, но и примириться со своим новым телом, ранами прошлого и страхами будущего.
Благодаря ей Ал обретает новый дом, семью и место в этом мире. Но однажды старой шаманке приходит тревожное видение, в котором она смогла увидеть лишь девушку - Эйприл О'Нил - и её связь с человеком, которого Алакай считал давно погибшим - Хамато Йоши. A little about Al and his biography before the main events begin
Alakai's real name is Himawari Kai.
Kai was born the youngest child in a family of influential yakuza. Growing up in harsh conditions, over time he renounces his family, not wanting to be part of the family business, and runs away at the age of sixteen, taking with him the only close person - the orphan girl Martha, who worked in his father's house and became Kai's named sister. Together they flee the country, after which Kai helps Martha get new documents and, using the name of his family, provides her with a ticket to a normal, prosperous life. Kai himself takes the pseudonym Alakai and returns to Japan, trying alone to fight the people supporting his father and criminal activities in the country. This eventually leads him to the Hamato clan, where Al becomes a friend and bodyguard to Hamato Yoshi and his family.
After betraying Oroku Saki, Al tries to track him down and take revenge, but is kidnapped by Krangs and sent to Dimension X for five long years. Having survived many experiences and being turned by Krangs into a huge mutant dog, Alakai loses his humanity, turning into an embittered and frightened animal. He manages to escape only by a miracle - during another laboratory accident - by jumping into one of the portals, which, by chance, sends him to the distant Amazon, where, far from civilization, in a place where the strong connection between people and nature was still imbued with mysticism and mystery, Alakai was found by local shaman Kamaria. An old witch helps a mutant regain not only his sanity and lost memories, but also come to terms with his new body, the wounds of the past and the fears of the future.
Thanks to her, Al finds a new home, family and place in this world. But one day the old shaman comes to a disturbing vision in which she could only see a girl - April O'Neil - and her connection with a man whom Alakai considered dead long ago - Hamato Yoshi. This forces Alakai to travel to distant New York, confronting his past again.

My "old but new" kids from TMNT 2012. Alakai (OC next to Splinter) maybe some of the old-timers remember - in the evening I’ll post a couple of old arts with him, but Nikki (OC next to Karai) is a new character. I recently returned to this story again, four years later.

a/n: as always, i have no beta-reader, no proof-reader- we die like real men. also, the story is told from Monet's perspective while the turtles are at most 5 or 6 and they're a young teen so they're putting it in a way they might understand while also reminiscing on the past way too much. Monet is also the oldest and took after Splinter the most with the way they speak (this might also be an excuse on why reading this might feel cliche, I'm sorry, i'm stuck in 2017) and now, enjoy!
A lonely man walked into the pet store. I expected to see a child behind him- dragging him by the hand, demanding for a fish to keep as a pet that would probably die in a week or to play with the puppies that jumped around next to the window so that passerbyers would be tempted to adopt one. He seemed tired, heavy eye bags underneath piercing dark eyes and yet he had this gentle smile on his lips. I don't think I will ever forget that smile.
I watched as he walked towards the reptile section, the very section I was resting in underneath my flickering hearing lamp. He glanced around, his reflection bouncing off the glass of the terrariums full of the animals I have watched come and go. None of them seem to catch his interest surprisingly, not even the pretty ones with patterns so colorful they were overwhelming to the eye. He caught my attention, I wanted to follow him around just to see what he might be looking for, maybe he just wanted to see what pets were available for a later date or he was one of those strange college students who came to just watch the lizards and not buy anything at all. I felt myself overthinking so much that I didn’t realize he was standing over the new baby turtle’s enclosure until I glanced his way again. There was a soft glow in his eyes as he knelt down to look at them closely. I remember when those turtles first came into the store, these tiny little eggs with colored markings, watching them hatch and be fed their first pellets. Was he going to take them home? Hopefully, it would be better if he bought all four of them instead of them being separated because an irresponsible child wanted to neglect a pet turtle. I wonder if he might want a fifth, an older turtle who no one wanted. Probably not.
The man smiled one last time before he walked away towards the counter, sparking up a small conversation with the owner of the pet store. She was an older lady, a nice lady, treats us well. I couldn’t hear their conversation from here so I just went back to munching on the fresh celery that was left in my bowl and on the shrub flooring. Someday, someone will want to take me home. I think about that day a lot, especially everytime the others get picked.
Some time went by before the old lady and the man were scooping up all four of the baby turtles and into a smaller glass enclosure so he could take them home. At least, he didn't separate them but then they looked towards me. This strange man motioned his hands in my direction and I honestly sat there a bit confused, celery hanging from my mouth, if I was as sentient as I am now I'd probably be pointing a finger to plastron and going ‘me’?. The old lady started rambling about how I was an old turtle who no one wanted and she was kind enough to keep me around as her own pet but even she couldn't hang onto me for much longer, always making down my price to the point I could just be tossed into the arms of the next customer. I watched as he stared at me for a while before he turned his back to my face and asked to take me home alongside the baby turtles.
The old lady's face beamed with joy as she made her way over and scooped me up, pressing her lips to my shell. The smell of her cheap perfume and powder overwhelming my senses.
“My dear, you're finally going home and with such a kind man”
A chirp left my beak as she took off the scarf around her neck and bundled me up, handing me over to the man who accepted me with no hesitation. After so many years, so many strange faces and sighs, someone is taking me home. I watched as the transaction went through before he waved goodbye to the old lady and I listened as I heard the bell hanging above the door ring one last time. I was a pet.
And then came the part Splinter has spoken about every single time Michaelangelo asks how we came to be.
“Hey! It's a cool story, Momo, now tell us!”
“I know Mikey, I know, I'm getting there”
I don't remember much, just the heavy footsteps that caught up to the man after he had sneaked around trying to follow but I can remember the force of his punches as he fought back when he was cornered. The man held onto us as tightly as he could before being outnumbered and he dropped the enclosure and myself onto the concrete. First there was the sound of glass shattering and then suddenly this green ooze was covering our bodies including his own. He yelled out in anguish and I felt my body shift in so many strange ways that caused me to throw up on the concrete, I didn’t even know turtles could throw up. When I turned around, the man had turned into this giant rat and you were all much bigger than the baby turtles I had watched crack out of their shells, this ooze was the start of a new life for all of us, a life of running and hiding…until we ended up here, in our home.

She’s half Cajun-Creole half Japanese, fluent in;Japanese,Cajun French,Louisiana creole, and a little Mandarin Chinese. Often makes fun of Casey’s Canadian French.Great cook and even better shot(master marksman). Originally worked for the shredder as a bargaining chip over her father but betrayed him and joined the turtles. Shredder trained her along side Bradford and Karai making her a kunoichi training. Hates Bradford with a passion. She’s secretly half mutant, her father being Tiger claw, hid her ears under a beanie and her strips with either makeup or long clothes. Later shows off her strips and ears while with the turtles.Is dating Lei.

Chinese American and the younger brother of Hun. Fluent in Mandarin,Cantonese, and Taishanese. Was raised by his brother as member of the purple dragons till Hun left on business. Master of martial arts but prefers kickboxing. Joined the turtles after realizing he did not want to be a part of a gang or join up with shredder. Still has the purple dragon tattoo. Later gets mutated by dog pound into a dragon like mutant who has Karai’s ability to turn human. Is dating Emy. Him and Casey did not get along at first due past encounters. Later gets over it after having to work together to save each others lives in one of Baxters traps.

Same skin tone as mutant mayhem April with tiger strips all on her body. Deep brown eyes that sometimes have slit pupils. Natural orange tiger striped hair she wears in shoulder length locs and lies and says it’s dyed. Has tiger ears on the top of her head she hides with a green beanie. Puts fake ears on to keep people from noticing her lack of normal ears. Has a tail and claws in both her hand and feet. Has a more wrestler like build due to her training,high muscle density, and tiger mutant dna. Signature color is dark green and later revives a green bandana from splinter once she joins them.

Similar hairstyle to Huns until he joins the turtles, afterwards he grows if out and wears it in a loose bun. Dyed his hair to have purple highlights when part of the dragons, now dyes it green. Hazel eyes. Large purple dragon tattoo that goes from the left shoulder to the wrist. Boxer build. Mutant form, long green snake like body with four legs, horned lizard like head with hair, spikes all along the body, extremely sharp teeth(keeps in human form along side the horns on his head)(long venomous fangs, venom is lethal), thin flaps he uses to glide. mutant dna was horned lizard,spiny viper, Draco lizard. Yes he can do the blood thing like horned lizards, he just find it absolutely disgusting.
