Leo: anime. That’s the explanation. I feel like he’d have reallllly neat handwriting and is more into calligraphy/writing than art— still pretty good though.
Raph: try hard. I feel like his art would be like Sophia Campbells but with more intense shading. “It’s just a sketch 😒..” simple handwriting, legible. Always ends his name with a period (slay?)
Mikey: very creative but not much technical skill. Does whatever he wants. Messy (ALL CAPS) hand writing with lots of little embellishments. Also he’s a lefty so there’s that. Has been begging Raph to teach him how to draw.
Donnie: quick but gets the point across. Draws a lot of blueprints and diagrams. Writes very quick but it remains somewhat legible

I HATE future Leo’s design in 2012 so I redid it 😝 honestly I could have made him more ‘monstrous’ since he’s double mutated and all that but rlly I just made him bigger. Regardless I like how it turned out 👍 I also pretty much completely forgot the lore soo this is just my version (I won’t go into it but if anyone wants I’ll tell them?)
I also did Mikey bc he looked creepy too. I like this too tbh, but I think I could tweak it more. Honestly I like Raphs future design and obv Donnie’s is amazing….

Some TMNT 2012 headcanons if you will
•From oldest to youngest are Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey.
•Mikey wants to be not be seen as a monster and to befriend humans. Also the incident with Bradford really messed up his trust and self-esteem.
•SEXUALITIES: Leo is a straight ally, Donnie is bi and poly, Raph is bi and ace, Mikey is transmasc and pan, Karai is lesbian and in a relationship with Shinigami, April is pan and poly, and Casey is transmasc and poly.
•Mess with one of them, you mess with all of them.
•Protective of each other after the events in the series and Splinter’s death.
•Donnie sometimes has to be physically dragged out of his lab to eat and sleep. Science never sleeps and neither will he.
•Leo has long since gotten over his crush on Karai, especially after finding out they were siblings.
•Mikey had a celebrity crush on Bradford at one point in time that didn’t last long, then he had one on Leatherhead. He eventually got over the crush on Leatherhead and the two are the bestest of friends with Leatherhead being fiercely protective over Mikey.
•Raph once went dumpster diving with Casey and found something that he’d never seen before. He showed Casey and Casey grabbed it then threw it as far as he could. Raph was confused so Casey told him to look it up. Raph did and didn’t look Casey in the eyes for about 2 weeks.
•Leo can’t cook for shit. He burnt water once. WATER. And it wasn’t even on the burner yet.
•Leo also still loves Space Hero’s, it reminds him of safer and happier times. Times when his family and him didn’t have scars and Splinter was still alive.

And I wanted to add a little something.
I've been literally obsessed with Leo's character since I was like 4 or 5.
And.. I felt a personal connection with Leo, although I am the youngest child, and my personality was closer to Mike overall.
After years of self-discovery , I came to the conclusion that the way leo copes with his low self-esteem issues is really relatable.
In each and every series, he has this same trait, just slightly different.
He needs to feel like he's worth it, as if he needs others' eyes on him just so that they can give his actions meaning. Otherwise, they wouldn't mean much to himself.
And that is the reason he blames himself for every little mistake, every little injury, and maybe that is why he pushes all the turtles away in the later seasons, (Leo having PTSD mentioned yay!) he doesn't deserve that kindness and familial bond, not when he cannot protect it.
And it's really tragic to me because when he gets hurt in season one is the only time I feel like everyone just genuinely stops having expectations towards him, they just want their brother back, their flashy, bossy yet honorable brother, nothing else.
That is kind of the same with ROTTMNT leo as well. He needs that affirmation, and in this case, he acts severely desperate, and when he finally gets some sort of validation (him becoming the leader), he pushes it away because... it wasn't given to him, he had to earn and take it, he had to prove himself worthy, all the other Leo's had to do that aswell, or at least they thought they had to, as if they couldn't just be adored and seen as valuable by just.. being themselves, there had to be something more.
And he sacrifices himself, honestly that's commen with leo, his life isn't worth much in his own eyes.

2003 Leo is the second biggest show off in his family (after Mikey). He’s just not vocal about it. He uses so many unnecessary extra fancy or extra difficult moves it’s almost like he’s shouting “LOOK AT ME!! LOOK HOW GOOD MY NINJITSU IS.”
Oh Leo is such a giant ham in 2003. In the first season he friggen knows it too - he pulls off Splinter’s training exercise perfectly right in the first episode, then a few episodes later he’s showing off his split kick. I feel like he actually does this a lot in front of Splinter - you’re right, he doesn’t brag about it or anything, but he is Splinter Jr. He is the teacher’s pet and he takes a lot of pride in being the best and acing Splinter’s training exercises when his brothers don’t.
I actually find this tendency of Leo’s at its funniest when he’s around Raph, because while I think a lot of people perceive it as like, Raph being jealous of Leo’s abilities or leadership or whatever, there’s absolutely this angle where Leo is also competitive with Raph and enjoys showing him up at things. See again: the pilot where he not only bests the training exercise, but flicks the candle butt at Raph afterwards just to piss him off.
There’s also Samurai Tourist, which is overall a really sad episode (sorry, I’m incapable of talking about 03 Leo without at some point talking about his PTSD arc), but there’s this moment in the beginning where Leo’s training, and everyone’s sort of watching him and being judgmental/concerned about it - then Leo pretty deliberately stabs the hell out of Raph’s punching bag, to the latter’s rage. And again, it’s in this really sad context, but I have to admit it’s this sort of funny moment for me, because Leo just has this look on his face for a split-second where it’s like, “Yeah, I took a two-second break from being angsty and traumatized to do a ‘fuck you’ at Raph for no particular reason.”
And yeah, there are so many moments in the middle of fights where Leo just does these over-the-top moves, jumps on top of a bunch of foot ninjas’ heads or manages to repeatedly kick some giant dude down into a skylight or whatever. Like, he is a very flashy fighter. The guy has swords, it would be so easy for him to just like. Stab people, if he wanted to, but he goes in for all this elaborate combat instead, partially because he’s honourable like that, but also because, well, he likes being able to bust a move and show off his skills. Moreover, he probably views it as a good way to intimidate anyone else watching who might be considering trying to fight him next.
On top of that, Leo is loud as hell when he fights. That’s what I notice most of all with 03 Leo, actually. Of course he can be stealthy when he needs to be, but he yells and screams and makes so much damn noise most of the time when he fights. I actually just recently reblogged a clip from 03, where the boys and Splinter are fighting some dudes and losing, and Splinter says they have to “become shadows” (i.e. make like trees and get out of there), only for Leo to let out some almighty scream as he kicks a dude, before telling the others to start retreating too. Dude has no chill at all.

a/n: selene is the backstory to my tmnt oc, Monet. they are the oldest sibling of the turtles and I'll leave a link to their bio so you can understand their character more. this is the first fanfic I've written since 2017 so please forgive me if it sounds like it came from that era. I also don't have a proof-reader, if there are any mistakes I apologize :)
Under the city that never sleeps, next to rumbling tunnels was the surprising quiet of the turtle’s lair and if you were to stand in the center of it all, everything from the world above would be faint to your ears. It was just a few hours away from morning, but there below the skylight on the creaky wood of the highest platform came the harsh stench of cigarette smoke.
A turtle older than the rest taking puff after puff as they stared into the heavily frosted windows above, their aching legs squatting over. Next to them was a busted navy green radio playing some random station, static interrupting most of the lyrics. Memories of everything that had happened in the months before kept them from curling up under freshly washed sheets. Watching the boys they had been around since they were tiny little eggs take down a man, a monster, who had terrorized all of them for years. This whole messed up ordeal was a weight on the eldest shoulders, a weight that wasn’t meant to be carried alone like this. The memory of watching their father die right in front of their eyes didn't help much either, it still lingered in the back of their head hour after hour. And now, because of that, they were responsible for the well-being of four mutant turtles who could honestly take care of themselves just fine but what kind of sibling would that make them if they just abandoned this family because of the heart ache. Splinter would be disappointed wouldn't he? Or maybe he would understand, he had watched his own wife be killed before him, he would understand the absolute horror of witnessing your loved one be brutally murdered before you and the need to get the hell away. Everyday felt like the last, nightmare after nightmare, sleepless nights and aching joints. The heavy lump in your throat that just wouldn't go away, like you're under the pressure of being 20,000 feet below water, swimming up would just be so fucking pointless…
“Monet?”
As quickly as russet eyes widened, the mutant extinguished the flame of their cigarette, discarding it to the side before standing up to face the blue clad turtle behind them. Sneaky brother, you didn’t even creak the wood.
“Leonardo, you should be in bed”
“I could say the same for you” Leonardo retorted as he sat on the edge of the wood, inviting the yellow clad turtle to do the same. The air around them growing thick.
Monet felt themselves huff at the sound of their younger brother’s tone but it wasn’t the first or the last time they’d hear it, and it brought a strange comfort to them. They walked over and plopped down, heavy scarred legs dangling over the wood, surprisingly none of them sustained splinters from these platforms. Leonardo glanced over before sighing and taking off his mask, a habit he had started to grow when he needed to have a tough conversation with someone. He didn’t want the mask in the way he said. Nothing to hide.
“You were smoking again, weren’t you?” It was, of course, obvious. The remaining smoke from the discarded bud still lingering around “Said you would stop months ago”
Monet stared down towards the water below the skylight, one slip and anyone would fall down about 10 feet. The yellow masked turtle shrugged, unaware of the eye bags underneath both their eyes and Leonardo's grim expression.
“It's hard to break habits”
“You know what Donnie said about this”
“Then don't tell him”
Leonardo felt his shell tighten before he shook his head and grabbed Monet's arm tightly, trying to force his older sibling to look at him but they wouldn't budge. How could they? To look into their brother's sharp blue eyes and not notice how much he had grown but instead seeing the baby turtle they had helped raise alongside their father. It was too much.
“Monet, you can't keep avoiding everything, you don't even go out on patrol anymore”
“..I just need time”
“How much time? You're perfectly healthy, and we're hurting just as much as you are but you have to learn how to continue in life” Leonardo spoke up, his words came out a bit harsher then he wanted them to but he had grown far from just worried about Monet.
He couldn't just watch as his sibling withered away in a cloud of cigarette smoke, hell, he had tried to get rid of the packs Monet had brought home but it wasn't enough. Even Donatello, the genius that he was, couldn't find a way to help.
“Please, just..just start joining us on patrol again, ok? We want you around, Mikey misses his big sibling”
Leonardo tried to flash Monet a somber smile but it immediately went away as he watched Monet's eyes tear up as the yellow clad turtle finally looked in his direction. Their bandaged hands trembling as they murmured nothing but ‘I’m sorry’s. He hadn't seen them cry since Splinter’s funeral, Leonardo had finally gotten past a wall of many. This was the moment he had desperately needed to have with his older sibling, to help them heal just as the others had helped each other. Monet sniffled, his snout twitching before they reached over and held Leonardo's face, fingers tracing the details of their baby brother's cheeks, a sad chuckle leaving his throat as he teared up more.
“You’re so much like our dad” Monet whispered as he felt the urge to do something he hadn't done in over a decade.
With a heavy heart, the mutant pulled Leonardo onto his lap and held him close, the exact way a mother would hold her newborn baby. Leonardo froze slightly, his eyes widening in confusion as he glanced up at them.
“What..what are you doing?”
“I used to hold you like this when you were just a baby turtle”
“But I'm not”
“I know, but you'll always be my baby brother to me” Monet just held onto him really tight, a very confused turtle who slowly gave in and leaned into the touch with a warm smile.

* You loved everything about him. His perfect green skin, his hard shell, but what you loved the most, where his eyes.
* They shown a brilliant ice blue in the dark night, almost as if you could see them from a few miles away.
* You loved him so much. Everything about him was flawless.
* For him, he loved everything about you. Your perfect hair, your beautiful skin. Everything.
* You two would constantly share your point of view with the other, making the opposite blush at such words.
* But some days, Leo would fall into a crippling depression, finding his in-human self disguising. It could last minutes up to a week, and you always hated every second of it, despising that he couldn’t see his own beauty.

* A soft grunt was heard, allowing you entry. You slowly pushed open the door to find your beloved face first in his sheets, she’ll shaking from his soft cries.

* “The usual”. Ah well-it’s always good to check.
* You gently pulled his head up to meet your soft lips. You pulled away, gently rubbing a thumb over the tear stains against his cheeks.
* “Babe, we went over this”. You stared while pulling him into a gentle hug while you laid back in his bed, bringing him with you. “You are perfect in every way, nothing will ever change that”.
* He pulled you closer, basking in your warmth while he inhaled your scent. Everything about you was just so perfect and he could never understand how you fell in love with him.
* He let out a deep sigh, knowing he could never argue with you hand have it turn out in his favor.

1 - TMNT - love this show I’ve seen mutant mayhem all of rise and am rewatching 2012.
2 - The Owl House - this show means a lot to me and I really enjoyed it. I don’t know why the shows I like get cut but either way this show is awesome.
3 - Transformers - I like the movies and am watching some shows. I grew up watching rescue bots so that’s the one that I feel the strongest attachment too.
4 - Tangled The Series - I haven’t interacted with this show in ages but I remember liking it and am always disappointed we didn’t get Vat7k
5 - Ducktails - Watched the originals as the kid and watched the remake love Both of them.
6 - Sonic the Hedgehog - I’ve played the games and watched Sonic X, Sonic underground, the sonic movies, and sonic prime.
7 - Ninjago - I watched it as a kid and have continued watching it. It doesn’t always make sense or stay consistent but it’s fun and exciting and really nice.
8 - Monkie Kid - Love this show its so awesome and I can’t wait to see more. I went to a Lego store and they had zero LMK sets I was sad but not surprised.
Favorite Characters from each
Rottmnt - Donnie with Leo and a close second. That said I love all the characters in this show a lot.
Tmnt2012 - Raph, with Casey as the runner up.
TmntMM - Raph and April are my favorites right now but that might change once I get to see more of the characters.
TOH - Gus and Hunter are my favorites.
TFRB - Cody and Heatwave. Love these two this show makes me happy.
TTS - Varian is my favorite.
Ducktails - Louie is my favorite and Lena is the runner up.
Sonic - Tails is a character that I like across all iterations. Shadow can be a hit or miss but I love him I’m the games.
Ninjago - Lloyd and Kai. Love these two big fan of Cole as well.
LMK - Macaque, and Sun Wukong are probably the ones I find myself the most interested in but Mei is probably my favorite character. I love all the characters in this show.
Slight Mutant Mayhem spoilers
CASEY JONES! WHERE ARE THEY. They are one of my favorite characters so where the fuck were they.
Okay anyway my friend took me to see mutant mayhem and we talked so I figured I’d share a few fun Casey intro ideas we discussed.
1 - Athletic rivalry - Ralph is shown to be doing athletics and while I don’t think they’ll be on the same sports team since Casey is a hockey person and Ralph is more a wrestling guy so I’d like to imagine that there rivals but like there is no way to settle it because they play completely seperate sports.
These two are going at both claiming to be better than the other but there’s no fair competition since they are playing to seperate sports.
“I scored a dozen goals”
“I slammed every guy I fought!”
Casey and Raph are a duo that means so much to me and I really hope to see them
2 - Mutant discourse - I know it’s not uncommon for Casey to meet the turtles via them fighting so I’m thinking Casey may either A just pick a fight cause he’s a gremlin or B have a distrust of mutants this wouldn’t work well since we see that the Turtle teens are fairly well liked in school that said I think it’s plausible we still got a few people who aren’t a fan. Option C is he’s associated with the shredder. I’ve only seen this done I’m rise but it’d be interesting to see another iteration of Casey where he fights against the turtles for a bit.
April O’Neil - I loved her she was amazing and I understand Leo’s crush. I was really worried 2012 Apritello haunts me so I was scared it’d be like that but it wasn’t. It was just Leo having a cute crush on a cute girl.
I felt like all the turtles while having certain distinct moments mostly blobbed together as a character. I’ve only watched the movie once and I plan to watch it again that said I hope for the future stuff in this timeline the characters get fleshed out more.
