My new TMC AU!!
So, me and Giulibus-DC ( a friend on Shmorp’s discord) made an au together, called the Meowndela *Cat*alogue ( thanks for that wonderful name Mutts ( also a friend on Shmorp’s discord)basically, all the characters are cats and alt the alternates are dogs ( except for Stanley, he’s a snake) i will put out some lore soon but take Thatcher and Ruth’s character designs, I will make some more designs later ( also go check out Shmorp’s discord, it’s really cool, you might see me there :] )

“alex didn’t groom anybody so he’s innocent stop accusing him of grooming” may i remind you that none of the victims accused alex of grooming. ven outright stated that the doc did not entail grooming allegations. you can exploit and harm people online without explicitly grooming them. Alex used, manipulated and showed little care for his fans, friends and loved ones. That’s still bad. He’s still bad. This is not someone who deserves a platform if he sees other people as stepping stones in order to achieve his selfish desires. Even if it wasn’t grooming in the traditional sense.

As many of us are aware some recent things have come to light about the creator of The Mandela Catalouge, Alex Kister, and his behavior towards those he had close connections with. A majority, if not all of them starting out as fans within the tmc community.

In AiA, does Mark ever find out that Cesar is an alternate? If he does, how does he react? Does he accept the knowledge (possibly after freaking out) and live with it or does he lose his mind/sanity and do something drastic?
There is one time he finds out about Cesar’s true nature, but his memory of that night is damaged and he doesn’t remember finding out. Alt Cesar manages to lie to him for several years longer about it, and Mark is none the wiser. After all, an alternate wouldn’t save his life, would he?

I gotta say, I’m falling in love with your Alternates in Arms AU. The idea of alternates taking the place of humans, and ending up enjoying taking their place, and befriending their friends, and living their lives, is very interesting.
Thank you! It probably stems from the deeper desire in me to believe the human spirit can triumph over alternates but really I’m just a sucker for “the inhuman desires to be human”.
Can an alternate long for friendship? At least in this AU, yes…and maybe he could have it too.
