random eyepocalypse scene I thought of

(this is definitely not inspired by that one piece of fanart that I cant find the creator of where jon is doing a statement while martin listens to the macarena)

jon is doing a statement from like probably a spiral domain, though it doesnt really matter which fear it is, and martin decides he wants to try and make jon laugh while doing a statement so while jon is sitting like kinda on the floor against the wall martin is halfway across the room(with headphones on) and makes direct eye contact with jon the whole time while doing the macarena but bc of weird eye magic jon cant really see him until he finishes the statement, so he finishes up and kinda does that thing where you like blink and shake yourself out of a stupor, sees martin and cracks up laughing

I'm thinking about Jon and Martin in the safehouse after the Change

I'm thinking of them laying in bed together, comforting one another, distracting themselves from what waits outside.

I'm thinking about how Martin would begin to gently stroke Jon's head. Slowly, subtly, he would begin to run his fingers through the length of Jon's hair. Eventually, Jon would notice the light tugging of Martin teasing apart the knots, and he would murmur, "What are you doing?"

and Martin would sadly whisper, "You haven't been brushing it..."

everyday EVERYDAY i try to figure out if i want to dress like more like martin blackwood or gerry keay and i hate it
