No concrete ideas of the specific gem they are, feel free to reply to this post with your ideas! Also a heads up that a bunch of these ideas are not SU-specific but rather from Land of the Lustrous, I've just ingrained both to be my gem au brain file and I can't differentiate some details anymore.
Law is a healer-type gem, a skillset passed down through generations of doctors. He never unlocks this skill in the traditional manner and has to navigate his powers without any professional support in the Donquixote household / with Corazon. His gem colours are yellow and black + the disease has left permanent white scarring on his gem and viltigo on his skin.
His gem placement is on the left of his chest, above the heart. It is well-hidden under most of his clothing. He has grown accustomed to limited sunlight exposure, making him function better than others in situation without sunlight but making him relatively frail otherwise.
Sanji is a lab-grown gem and manufactured to be a fighter-type gem model by Judge. For one reason or another, he doesn't come out as how Judge would like -- he's not brittle, sure, but he is not up to standard. By all means, he has the capacity of a regularly birthed gem.
As a lab-grown gem, he has an extremely well cut facet, which he uses to his advantage to trick people into letting him into high-end establishments. Reconnaissance!
His gem is deep blue, placement is on the back of his left hand.
For their meet-up, I can picture them being introduced while still stuck in their respective families. Judge and Doflamingo have their big fancy villain party and where Sanji and Law first see each other. They meet again years later, post-Corazon and post-Germa, both on the run. They team up because they have nowhere to go and think they'll be strong together.
Their first fusion is one forced in the chaos of battle. With no option left, they fuse and they crush everyone around, no witnesses.
Fusion is another tool at their disposal, they work hard to stabilise it. It's real valuable when people are looking for two people instead of one and they'll hit more than twice as hard if it comes to that.
Their fusion is characteristically tall, but their size is malleable. Their colours and predominantly gold and blue. As a fusion, their weapon is like a huge filet knife that can also set on fire.
Due to years of experience, they've stabilised themselves to appear normal -- the only anomaly is that they have 4 eyes, which are easily hidden under Law's hat.

What if Draco had a diary which he called Father, like he made it when he was young to compensate for his dad being to busy with work to listen to him.
So everytime he said “wait till my father hears about it.” He’s actually running to his dorm to pull out his diary and write his feelings into it.
Like probably something like:

i keep seeing misinformation about this, so: queerplatonic relationships do not have a set definition. the name comes from the idea that it's "queering" the platonic relationship, tailoring it to the individual relationships' own desires. it isn't necessarily romance lite, but it also isn't necessarily whatever definition you want to impose on it. the point of queering the platonic relationship is to break away from strict allonormative views on friendship, romance, and sex, not to make a new categorical box to fit in.
the answer to "what is a qpr?" is "whatever you want it to be." sometimes that is romance lite. sometimes it's a deeply committed friendship. sometimes it's friends who have a sexual relationship. sometimes it's based on an entirely different mode of attraction. sometimes it's fluid and impossible to put into words. it's whatever you want it to be. it's queer.
absolutely obsessed with how the strongest beings in orv are constellations, literally the oldest form of story telling and the more memorised/impactful the more important they are, from historical (more recent so weaker) to narrative to myth grade. and like i know this is all obvious to everyone but for the oldest form of story telling from religion to mythology and oldest fables to turn against people once the scenarios begin when they are so ingrained in what makes you human and what people turn to in times of desperation and and moral guidance makes this so much . more chilling and twisted to me
humans are the ones who named these stars and created constellations, we created a story out of nothing, kinda like how od birthed wos into existence, i think feeding into the idea that stories have both the capability to harm and save people. i’m sure we know constellations are a huge symbol for those who are content with monetising and consuming stories without care for others and how this sustains capitalist greed right down to what makes u human….. but i think it’s just. soooo good. but then what makes kdj so special as a constellation is that while reading is also a means for survival for him just like how it is for constellations consuming stories, he is so unbelievably selfless and full of love as he reads and gives his lives up for the characters he reads about rather than completely discard them like other constellations. in a world where the star stream has monetised even survival, kdj is in the end driven by hope and love and devotion . ach… a reader who gives back to the story as much as the story has helped him.

I’ve been waiting since March to post this…
A lot of parents shouldn’t be parents. Which is not me advocating for eugenics. Sex ed, abortion and birth control should be free and easily accessible and we should create culture that doesn’t treat reproducing as inherently altruistic and moral and makes it more acceptable to choose not to have kids. It’s an extremely weighty irreversible choice but it should always be a choice. You should have a damn good reason to have a child instead of it being something you do to tick off a box. If you don’t like kids and you don’t want to sacrifice your time and money to your kids, don’t have a kid. This isn’t an anti-parent anti-kid kid rant, it’s just so sad to see how many parents are kind of meh about their kids or straight up open about regretting them and to remember how many of my friends and classmates growing up had shitty parent horror stories.

getting fixated on an object show character is so hard because it's like Okay. this character is a twist antagonist from the previous season of the show. on a surface level she is manipulative and selfish, but harbours a deep regret for her previous harmful actions that resulted in a close friendship of hers being sabotaged. she introduces herself to a new contestant, initially only helping her for her own gain, but quickly develops an emotional attachment to her as their friendship becomes less transactional and more real, but once again her own toxic behaviour sabotages the only connection she has. she's now drowning completely in her guilt and self-hatred, believing herself to be irredeemably evil.

Idk man it’s so easy to get bogged down in all the bullshit online but when my then-6 year old cousin found out I was trans he said “ok” then corrected my grandma when she misgendered me. I was once the third between a gay man and a lesbian. Two lesbians once invited me back to their place when I presented as a man. I met an AMAB nb butch who looked strikingly to outsiders like a cis man and it was one of the more sapphic experiences I’ve had. I nervously wore a boydyke shirt to pride and got 3 different cis-looking femme folks tell me they loved my shirt. I once told a trans group at a protest that any pronouns were fine for me and one person said “wow, I’m impressed and intimidated by people like that. I don’t know that I could be that chill with pronouns.” I once told a GNC friend I wished I could wear a type of “opposite” gender clothing after I had already transitioned and so it would be associated with my AGAB and he said “You could just do it.” I’ve had cishet men fight cops for me before. The first time I had a doctor ask me if my name was different than what was on my forms I had to try not to cry. Last week, a phone call with a doctor’s office where I am generally cis passing asked unprompted if my name listed is what I want to be called. It touched me then too. I told a lesbian friend once I felt like my attraction to men AND women both felt gay. She said “makes sense.” And we moved on. I go by different pronouns in different circles. I’ve had gay women love my facial hair. I’ve had gay men like my tits. It’s all out there, I promise. It can be hard to find it but I promise there is community like you and community who likes you. And it’s more messy and beautiful than tumblr discourse makes it out to be.

So this is just an observation from someone who is pretty new to the fandoms involved and has just been consuming all the old vods from the Antarctic Empire days. But it seems to me that Technoblade's interaction with his chat is one where the chat demands chaos and he steadfastedly holds to a certain code of honor and decorum in spite of their demands. Whereas Philza's interaction with his chat, while there are demands for chaos from the chat, is much more of a give and take where Philza will sometimes act chaotically of his own accord because it's funny. Philza is basically a fae that will murder a man and laugh at his demise, where Techno spends more time resisting the demands for blood than actually going for kills.
All I'm saying is however much Technoblade would have no trouble crushing me in a fight, I'd much rather face him than Philza. Techno has rules and tries to follow them, Philza is far more of a wildcard despite his habitual caution.

I think what scares me the most about fandoms like MARVEL and Stranger Things is the amount of people who think that just because there are unrealistic concepts in most of the movies/episodes that all of it is unlikely to be “relatable” or “realistic”, when, in fact, that is not the case.
Civil War is between a bunch of superheroes with advanced weaponry and impossible abilities. But what people don’t seem to realize is that the very thing they’re fighting over is so much like our world and its politics that you don’t realize how much damage you’re doing by taking one side over the other. If you’re Team Iron Man, you were actively for a law that would limit the rights of enhanced individuals (voluntarily or not) just because of how much “destruction” they caused trying to save the world from worse threats. And, we can see that by the end of the movie, the “rogues” were trapped in the Raft (a highly secure prison made for villains like Rhino, Electro, Shocker, Goblin, etc.) and Wanda, a sixteen-year-old who was manipulated into being experimented on, was even in a straight jacket. They were locked away because they tried to fight for their rights as enhanced individuals against men who either: were not advanced, or had the privilege to take their powers off (Iron Man and his suit). While you may consider this as fiction and nothing more, this is real to lots of people all over the world who are fighting for their lives and rights every day against men like Ross and Tony.
The same applies to Stranger Things, that, although is based around monsters and scientific concepts that are near-to-impossible in our reality, still contains themes that may be relatable to struggling children and adults. We see that in the very first season with the Byers family, and how they were all traumatized by Lonnie and his mental/physical/emotional abuse. In the second season, we also saw the relationship between Billy and Max, which ultimately led to multiple fanfics trying to portray Billy as anything but a monster. A manipulative, romanticized monster whose actions were brushed off simply because of his troubled childhood.
“It’s literally fictional/a fictional character. It’s not that deep.” Maybe it doesn’t apply to you or anyone you know, but to many, those topics are a constant in their lives.

Teenagers are rarely taught the reason why they can't consent to sex with adults.
And that's because teaching them that would completely unravel our coercion-based society.
It can be difficult to explain in detail the exact reason and all the specifics in a way that they will understand. But the simplest way to phrase it is that in some cases, even when someone agrees to something and even when they appear enthusiastic about it, there's too much of a power imbalance that it's no different than forcing them. Also, having power and being abusive doesn't require a conscious expectation to be obeyed.
Imagine a world in which every teenager understood that and was easily able to call out anyone who tried to convince them otherwise.
They'd know that there's no such thing as an employee consenting to working for a poverty wage, working in unsafe conditions, working long hours, or working without taking breaks. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to paying a bank overdraft fee. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to student loan debt. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to medical bills. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to generating profit for banks or landlords in order to have a place to live and being evicted or foreclosed when you lose your source of income. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to a police search. They'd know that there's no such thing as a child who's okay with their parents spanking them. They'd know that being dependent on someone does not mean that you can never criticize them. They'd know that if it's considered abusive to simply play along when someone obeys, then it has to be much more abusive to actively expect to be obeyed, which many adults do to them.
And people who benefit from a society based on coercion masquerading as freedom wouldn't like that.
So instead, teenagers are taught something dismissive. They're taught that what they want doesn't matter. They're taught that they're too young to know what love is. They're taught "it's the law". They're taught things that are insulting to their intelligence, which they'll naturally rebel against.
