Tokoyami finding a shady tree to sit in is like going to recharge your Pokémon after a battle X,D
I did way to much research on Japanese trees for this >_< learning about propping trees (like large bonsai) and yakusugi was certainly an experience. Also I know like 20 native Japanese tree species now…I need to draw toko dealing with all might going on a rant about trees so he can “suffer” too.
Here are some bonus sketches of Tokoyami visiting the California redwoods (and subsequently climbing them) because I love the idea of him just walking around on tree branches like some fantasy world setting. (I don’t actually know if the branches of a redwoods are big enough to walk on, finding photo references for them was impossible)

I wasn't originally actually going to do this, but after all the support I received, how could I not? So now I present Fluffynightkiller week! 29th of May to 4th of June.
Day 1 There's a first time for everything

Who could have a trickier past then these 3? All 3 have been through vast torment before finding each other. But now they have the past should stay in the past. Right??

So many wonderful and terrible things happened at night. The time for peace, but also fear.
