Hi! I accidentally deleted the original request because I was trying to fix my Tumblr.
But anyway, thank you so much for this request! I made two versions. One is a softer fic, and the other is darker and more possessive.
I hope that you enjoy them!
Softer Version - Get Some Rest, Love - 11 November 2022
Darker Version - Trust In Me - 12 November 2022
Summary -Â Missy breaks in and out of The Vault a lot since the two of you got togetherÂ
Warnings -Â references of The Vault

------------------------------------------------------------
You heard some shuffling and some soft bumps from outside your room. You assumed that the sound was caused by one of your neighbours. Your upstairs neighbour, in particular, had the propensity to stomp when they were tired. So, in your half-asleep mind, you turned in your bed to find a more comfortable position and try to go back to sleep because there was nothing to be worried about. But some time not too long after hearing the noise, you felt two slender arms snake around your stomach. You nearly jumped out of your skin until you heard jestful tutting in your ear.
âNow, now, my dearie ⌠Arenât scared of your Mistress, are you?â
âYou know that I am not, Missy. But maybe donât stalk into my room in the middle of the night next time.â You relaxed into Missyâs warm body, excited to fall asleep in her arms and have a serious discussion of why she escaped The Vault again later when you were more awake. Missy seemed to have other plans, however.
âBut I love getting your heart racing!â Missy nipped at your ear wantonly and nuzzled into your side. If she was going to tease you when you were half asleep, you were going to find out why.
âMissy, what are you doing here?â
âThe Vault was cold.â She somehow nuzzled closer to you. Her breath was so hot against your neck and her arms gripped tightened their grip on you.
âMissyâŚâ
âSeriously. The Doctor and that oaf Nardole donât allow me to control the temperature of The Vault even though I am the one being forced to stay there.â
âMissy. Why are you really here? I know when you are upset about something.â You heard her sigh defeatedly into your neck but told you the truth softly.
âI missed you.â You turned in Missyâs strong grasp and kissed her cheek.
âI like hearing you say that. And I missed you, too. I could have visited you if you had wanted me to. You didnât need to come all the way out here. I donât want anything bad to happen to you.â
âNo, I like being here with you, rather than at The Vault.âÂ
âDo you want to do anything or just sleep?â
âJust sleep. I can tell that you are tired. And I sleep better with you.
âGoodnight Missy. I love you so much.â Missy kissed your forehead and buried herself into your torso.
âI love you more. Now sleep, my dearie.â
Summary - You catch Missy breaking into your flat.
Warnings -Â nothing, just funny fluff
Word Count - 706
A/n -Â Gender Neutral Reader. Not Requested. Just had this funny idea that Missy really likes breaking into places and stalking
------------------------------------------------------------
You had no idea how long Missy had been trapped in The Vault. You say trapped loosely. You were very aware that Missy would sneak out of The Vault whenever The Doctor or Nardole werenât monitoring her too closely. Of course, it was obvious that Missy also enjoyed a challenge, and she would sometimes escape just to see if someone would notice and catch her.
You hadnât noticed the first few times Missy had escaped whilst you were a companion of The Doctorâs. You eventually caught on, however, when you began smelling a fancy perfume drifting throughout your apartment at random times. The next time you went on an adventure with The Doctor, you interrupted him and Nardole discussing an anomaly with The Vault. They, of course, halted their conversation as soon as they saw you.Â
They believed that you were completely unaware of The Vault and that there was a person being kept in there, which you didn't really understand. The Vault was blatant to anyone who travelled down to the basement, which you had done many times, and whoever or whatever was in there was the opposite of quiet. You had no idea, however, that the person was Missy or that she had been watching you.
Missyâs secret was discovered by you one day, however. You were crowded into your bedroom finishing up some online work. Missy apparently thought that you were out as she crawled ups through your window. You heard movement and grabbed an umbrella from the hallway by your door. You screamed upon seeing the Victorian-looking woman climbing in halfway through your window.
âHello, dearie! Itâs an absolute pleasure to finally meet you!â
Bonus Under The Cut
Missy, somehow gracefully, fully climbed through your window and then patted down her Victorian-looking outfit. You couldnât help but wonder why she was locked in The Vault. Other than looking a bit like a ghost haunting an old home, she didnât appear to be that menacing.
âAre you the person in The Vault?â
âWere you going to hit me with an umbrella?â Missy ignored your question and cocked her head to the side to look at your makeshift weapon. Honestly, she was a bit impressed that you were prepared to attack her.Â
âMaybe, possibly. Never mind what I am using as a weapon, answer my question before I hit you!â Missy held up her hands defensively. She liked you more than she thought she would.
âYes, I am the person in The Vault.
âWell, how do you keep getting out?â
âNot going to snitch on me are you, dearie?â Missy winked at you, causing you to become a bit flustered.
âNo, just curious how you keep breaking out of there and breaking into my flat.â
âYou know about that?â Missyâs impressed feelings for you continued to grow.
âYour perfume tends to linger.â Missy sniffed the air.Â
âIt appears that it does. Iâll keep that in mind when I sneak out of the Vault again.â
âSo, what do you want?â
âYou, dearie.â You raised your umbrella protectively again.
âNot like that. I wish to get to know you. I think that we will get along.â
âYouâve got to admit that you phrased that weirdly.â
âFair enough.â There was a bit of an awkward silence as Missy trailed off and began looking around your place. So, you decided to introduce yourself to this stranger.
âWell, Iâm Y/n. Please donât hurt me, or kill me, or hurt my friends.â
âI am The Master, but you may call me Missy if you like. I will never hurt you and as long as your friends donât aggravate me, nothing will happen to them.â
âIncluding The Doctor?â
âWe will wait and see for that one.â The two of you fell back into that awkward silence. Missy seemed intent on finding things out about you by going through your things. You would rather just get to know her like a normal person, despite how much The Doctor would protest everything you were doing.
âDo you want to watch a movie or something?â
âYeah, alright.â Missy shrugged her shoulders, jumped down from where she was investigating the top shelf of your bookshelf, and then practically skipped past you to make her way to your sofa.

âLook at you. Sneaking back after a date. That doesnât seem like you, Y/n.â
The Master aggressively jeered as soon as you opened the door to your flat. She was sitting in your living room armchair, her legs spread wide and domineering in appearance. It was clear to you that she had moved your chair to the corner of the room, probably to look more intimidating to you once you saw her, but something seemed off. Of course, The Master intimidated you, but in a crush type of way, not in a real threat type of way. You were terrified of disappointing her.Â
This was different, though. This seemed like a real threat directed at you. The Master was actively trying to scare you. One of her hands was clawed into the stuffing of the armchair and the other was gripping a nearly empty glass of orangy-brown alcohol. It looked like whisky, but you couldnât be sure. You looked past her briefly to see a fancy alcohol bottle on one of your side tables. It was alien, so that didnât really help you in discerning what it was, but it informed you of the fact that The Master really wanted to get drunk. If she didnât, then she would have just drunk your Human alcohol.
âWonât your date be jealous if they discover you staring at me like that? The Master leered at you and looked you up and down with seething anger.
âOkay, Iâm going to be blunt, I have no idea what you're talking about or why you are upset, Master.â
âDonât play dumb, Y/n! You asked me to take you back to Earth urgently and specifically at this time. I planned to stop by because I was bored, as I often am when you are not around, and I see you leave your house in an extravagant outfit with a full face of makeup. You were clearly out with someone, and I want to know who they were so I can destroy them. You are my companion. Youâre mine and you always will be!âÂ
âYou really have completely misinterpreted this situation -â You laughed anxiously but The Master cut you off before you could explain.
âYou dare accuse me of misunderstanding something when you have gone behind my back to fool around with some peasant!â
âAll I did was go to a friendâs wedding! I didnât go on a date.â The Master halted her aggressive, accusatory hand movements and slumped in confusion.Â
âA wedding! Well, why didnât you tell me? I love weddings! Great places to scope out new victims.â
âItâs a Human wedding.â
âBut thatâs still a wedding! I would have loved to go! Why not let me join you as your date?â
âOh! I donât know maybe because one: you hate Humans. Two: Humans would be the only race present at the wedding. And three: you hate Humans! Why would I invite you somewhere that would cause you to kill someone?â
âI wouldnât kill anyone if you didnât want me to. The worst I would do would be to cause a serious injury.â
âThat is not any better, Master.â
âWell, technically -â
âWhy are you so upset about this?â
âI donât know. I just want to be seen with you.â
âEven if you want to kill everyone around you out of annoyance?â
âAt least everyone will know that you are mine.â
âIf someone close to me is getting married, then I will invite you as my plus one, okay, Master?â The Master happily nodded to you and then downed the last bit of her drink. She then tried to stand up but wobbled and fell back into your living room chair. You rushed over and helped the alien stand up. You wondered what she had been drinking and how much she had.Â
âWhereâs your TARDIS?â
âDown the street.â Since The Masterâs TARDIS was too far away, you just decided to let her stay in your bedroom to sleep off her drunkenness.
âWell, how did you get in here?â
âSonic laser. Very good at opening windows.â
âOkay, youâll be fixing that once you are sober.âÂ
Eventually, the two of you struggled and sloshed to your bedroom. You tried to get some information out of The Master about the best way to take care of her in her drunken state, but she wasnât incredibly coherent. The alcohol seemed to be hitting her all at once and she just seemed overjoyed about the fact you promised to bring her as your date for an upcoming wedding.Â
You brought The Master a giant glass of water and made her drink a good portion of it before you forced her to change out of her incredibly fancy outfit. You gave The Master some of your sleep clothes and moved to give her some privacy. But she wanted you to stay with her in case she fell. You saw through her lie, though. She was a bad liar when drunk. The Master obviously wanted you to see her half-naked. You also changed into some sleep clothes, which caused The Master to fumble and ogle you drunkenly for a moment. But after many drunken delays, you and The Master crawled into bed and snuggled up together. You were shocked again; The Master was incredibly cuddly when drunk.
âMaster, I donât want to upset you, but I was offered to bring a plus one to this wedding.â
âWell, why didnât you invite me if you had the opportunity to bring your own guest?â The Masterâs head jolted upward in order to look you in the eye.
âHow many times do I have to remind you that you hate Humans, Master?â
âBut I like you. No other Humans matter because I like you.â The Master slumped forward and cuddled into your chest. You tried your best to not become flustered by this action or The Masterâs confession.
âI like you, too, Master.â
âPromise to invite me in the future?â
âI promise. Now we should get some sleep, especially you.â
âUgh fine, but only because you are the one telling me to do so. Goodnight, Y/n.â
âGoodnight, Master. Sleep well.â
Summary -Â Missy reassures the reader of her love for you
Warnings -Â references to World Enough and Time and The Doctor Falls
Word Count - 549
A/n -Â Gender Neutral Reader. Not Requested. You can look at this as either a canon compliant fic or as a canon divergent fic where Missy doesnât die
------------------------------------------------------------
You huffed and walked away from your partner bantering on with her previous regeneration. Seeing them reminded you of the interaction Missy had on the top floor of the ship. When she was being tested by The Doctor and she so easily flirted with the ship worker that ended up hurting Bill. How could she so easily do that in front of you? After all the two of you had been through together?
You didnât know where you were going, but you just wanted to get away from her for a moment. You ended up slumping down on the swinging bench on the patio of the house you and your friends were huddling around. You watched Nardole direct and teach some of the children how to defend themselves from Cybermen. You thought how Missy would be an excellent teacher to them, and an entertaining one at that, if she ever stopped flirting with herself that is.
âOh! Here you are, Y/n. Iâve been looking all over for you.â You only sighed in response.Â
âDearie, will you please talk to me?â
âWouldnât you rather flirt with the guard or yourself or just some random person?â
âIs that what this is about?â You turned away from your partner and pouted. You had met and begun dating Missy when she was locked in the Vault. You had never seen her interact with anyone other than Bill, Nardole and The Doctor and she never flirted with them. Her eyes were always on you. You talked with her, played with her, entertained her, cried with her, reassured her, and then she goes and flirts with people right in front of you.
âOh, my lovely. I was just acting like The Doctor before, is all. You know him and his fetish for flirting with random Humans.â
âAnd your previous regeneration?â
âThatâs just a bit of fun! How many times do you actually get to compliment yourself?â
âTrue, but your other half seems to be enjoying the compliments a bit too much.â
âYes, he-I was definitely like that then. However, he is not my other half. Do you want to know who is, dearie?â You shook your head. You thought that she was alluding to The Doctor at first, but Missy would never admit to that.
âCome on, Y/n! You must know!â Maybe she meant you, but you didnât want to embarrass yourself if you were wrong.
âI want to hear you say it, Missy. Please.â
âYou are my other half, dearie. You always will.â The Time Lady kissed your forehead and probably left a marking of her lipstick there, as well.
âI love you, Missy.â
âI love you more, Y/n.â
âPromise that you will never leave me?â
âI will never leave you, Y/n. Never ever. I promise.âÂ
She booped your nose and pulled you into her torso. You relished in Missyâs words and her presence. You believed her and her feelings for you, you just hoped that the Universe would allow the two of you to stay together. But you knew Missy well enough to know that if anything did happen to you, she would go to hell and back in order to be with you again. Missy was never going to leave you, whether the Universe liked that or not.
Summary - The Master corners the reader and confronts them about their feelings. The Master isnât prepared for The Readerâs response, though.
Based On This Request -
Prompts Used -Â #3. A breathy demand: âKiss meâ - and what the other person does to respond.
Warnings -Â Canon typical violence, The Master being The Master (i.e., A desperate slut), some suggestive bits, so 18+, please!

A/n - Gender Neutral Reader. This was requested on my old Tumblr by a lovely anon. I hope that you enjoy!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Master had a habit of staring at you. Whenever he was monologing or generally scheming he would stare at you from wherever he was standing, looking to see all of your facial expressions and reactions. He knew that he should probably be seeing if The Doctor of her companions seemed threatened, but you were so much fun compared to them!
This habit of his escalated to where The Master would separate you from the rest of the group just to hear your opinions on how his current scheme was unfolding. The Master, ever the escalator, then proceeded to kidnap you completely out of the blue. He would always detail his plans to you, even before the kidnapping. But after he started kidnapping you, he would conduct full lectures, hoping for your feedback. The kidnappings, of course, became less focused on plans for world domination and more focused on polite conversion.Â
This wasnât a usual kidnapping, however. The Master had stowed you away to a different part of the castle you, The Doctor and her other companions were exploring. He was rough and held you tightly and barely uttered a word in response to your screams of release. Once the two of you were where The Masterâs TARDIS was, the alien left you to pace around the room a bit. You were confused. The Master never acted like this before during one of your kidnappings. You had to stay to get to the bottom of what was wrong with him.
The Master finally addressed you after a word with himself. And instead of him complimenting you every five seconds, The Master seemed much more uneasy about what he was doing today. Like there was something he was hiding from you that he was scared that you would find out too quickly if he didnât mask his emotions. His shoulders were visibly tense and he kept his hands clenched whenever he wasnât talking with them. He still complimented you, but they were laced with anger and jealousy. You assumed that it was just because of The Doctor, who had grown closer to you since she noticed how much The Master favoured you, but The Master had a quick temper so really he could be upset about anything.Â
You and The Master talked and teased each other while pacing around the room The Master had brought you to. His mood seemed to lighten when your full attention was solely on him, but he would grow upset again when you mentioned The Doctor. Eventually, he broke and shouted at you.
âI am your Master and you will obey me! No one else!â The Master stomped toward you, leaning in closer than he should have and staring at your lips. This is what always happens when the two of you teased each other, so you continued to tease in order to get The Master to break again. Maybe this time he would actually admit his feelings for you which you always assumed that he had. Maybe thatâs what he was hiding? Maybe his feelings made him uneasy? You laughed at The Master and his possessive comment and then strutted away from the Time Lord.
âNo! I am loyal to The Doctor. You will never be my Master and I will never do what you want!â You said this with a taunting flare, hoping that The Master would know that you werenât too serious, but he seemed to be in a non-joking mood today.
âCan we just cut the tension and get to the good stuff?â
âExcuse me?â
âYou know. The back-and-forth teasing, the longing gazes, leaning in too close to one another, forgetting that The Doctor even exists as we explore the growing feelings between us. You know, all that good stuff that happens when we are alone together.â The Master bounded toward you dramatically and exuberantly. At least you got your answer, The Master did see the feelings growing between the two of you.
âIs that what really happens between us?â You coyly asked as you walked backwards willing. You knew that there was a wall behind you somewhere. The Master eagerly followed you.
âYes, that is exactly what happens. And I know that you love it.â
âYou canât know that.â You continued to slowly stalk backwards.
âOh really? I am a telepath after all. What makes you think that I wouldnât roam through that pretty little mind of yours, love?â
âBecause you like me and you want me to like you. You wouldnât do something like that without my consent.â Finally, you hit the wall as soon as you said the word âconsent,â but The Master continued to move forward until he was practically flushed against you. He looked into your eyes for a long time, probably to search your soul for truth in your statement, but the old Time Lord couldnât help himself from venturing a gaze at your beautiful lips.
âKiss me.â The Master whispered, desperation dripping from his voice. You almost couldnât believe that this was happening. Someone as powerful as The Master, who could take whatever he wanted with ease, was giving you the power in this situation. He had made a demand, yes, but he gave you full control over his emotions and hearts by giving you the option to choose what you were to do next. You would have to make your next move carefully.
âOnly if you beg for it.â The Master rolled his eyes but moaned in enjoyment. He quickly covered up his moan with a deep laugh. He couldnât have you know that he wants you that much. At least not this early in your relationship. He had already given so much away to you.
âYouâre fun! I knew that there was a reason why I like you. Despite your idiotic devotion to The Doctor, you arenât like her other little pets.â
âI thought that you said that you wanted to forget about her?â
âI think that there is only one way to do that, love.â The Master smirked again and this time you joined him in smirking before crashing your lips into his. The Master sighed in relief upon finally feeling your hot mouth against his. Getting needier, The Master held the back of your head firmly and pulled you completely against his chest by his strong arm around your back. You smiled when you felt his already hard cock straining against his plaid trousers. You were certain that this would have gone on much longer if it werenât for The Doctor shouting for you from a nearby hall. The Master broke away from you angrily.
âDamn it!â The Master growled.Â
âLeave before she sees us like this. Iâll tell her that you just left me for her to find. You know, just to make her blood boil a bit.â You gently and regretfully tried to push The Master away from you, but he stayed strongly in his spot.
âYou better! I want her properly upset given that she so rudely interrupted us.â Despite the urgency of the situation, The Master smiled softly at you like he had never smiled upon you before and then booped your nose with the knuckle of his finger. It was strange seeing him be so loving, but you needed more. The Master whisked himself away dramatically just as you were becoming intoxicated by his presence. He then headed toward his TARDIS, but there was something that you needed to know before he disappeared again.Â
âAre you going to kidnap me again?â The Master turned back to look at you. He almost seemed shocked by your vulnerability which was a direct contrast to how confident you were minutes before, but he again covered his emotions with a teasing smirk and a wink.
âOnly if you beg for it, love.â
âPlease kidnap me again, Master.â You wanted him to know that this was more than just a game to you.
âIâll kidnap you in the most extravagantly beautiful way, my love.â To your shock, The Master bowed to you to highlight his statement.
âNow hurry before she finds us!â The Master blew you a kiss in a final farewell and disappeared into the warmth of his TARDIS. Moments later, the ship dematerialized, but you could feel The Masterâs promise to you wafting through the air. This, most definitely, was not the last time you would be seeing The Master.

Summary -Â The reader finds The Masterâs hoodie and he doesnât have the heart to ask for it back.
Warnings -Â nothing, just fluff
Word Count -Â 957
A/n -Â Gender Neutral Reader. Not Requested. Iâm making this a fic about my personal AU where The Doctor didnât regenerate, and he and The Master travelled together post-EOT. This is just my maladaptive daydream since I was ten and I need it.
------------------------------------------------------------
The Master grumbled under his breath as he sauntered into the library. The Doctor had just taunted him about his crush on you, said crush which The Master always denied having. Yet, the old Time Lord found himself seeking you out whenever The Doctor got like this The Master could complain about his old friend to you. Today was no different. The Master knew that you would be in the library, because you often lounged there, and he was so excited to rant to you. However, when he found you in a comfy chair by the roaring fire you were fast asleep.Â
Initially, upon seeing you, The Master wished to wake you up. His rant about The Doctorâs crazy theories needs to be heard after all. But when he looked at you, so comfy and unaware and innocent. The Master couldnât bring himself to wake you up just because of his own selfish reasons. So, instead, he did everything he could to make you more comfortable.
The Master searched for a blanket within the vast library and finally, he saw one. The Master brought it back to where you were and placed it over you. The Master stood back and looked at you. You still didnât look as comfortable as you could. So he fetched yet another blanket and tucked you snuggly into both.Â
The Master, then, was about to leave, but that still didnât feel just right. He felt a growing warmth of sentimentality flow through him. He knew what he would have to do, not just because the Time Lord wanted to be possessive over you, but because he had to make sure that his, hopefully, future partner was warm. The Master sighed dramatically and shuffled out of his old and well-worn hoodie. He placed the item of clothing over the blankets. In your sleep-filled state, you unknowing cuddled the hoodie closer to yourself. The Master stared at you longingly for a moment as another warm feeling spread through his hearts. Upon realizing how real his feelings for you were, however, The Master rushed out of the library to deal with his feelings alone.

You woke up randomly. Fragments of a dream about The Master floated through your head as you tried to place your surroundings. The library. Thatâs where you were. Yes, you remembered reading a new book a couple of hours ago. You had known that you should have gone back to your room, given how tired you were, but you were so enraptured by the story you were consuming that you just couldnât stop. At least, The TARDIS lit a fire for you in your sleep.Â
You then noticed the blankets on top of you and the black hoodie you were cuddling. You didnât remember those being here with you when you had fallen asleep. When did those get here? Despite your initial confusion, you shrugged the well-loved hoodie, that mostly smelled of smoke, over your head and made your way out of the library. You stumbled from the library toward your room. However, in your tiredness, you were unaware of The TARDIS changing the halls around. You were confused again when you walked into the console room, but you tried to just focus on your cosy awaiting bed and not the curious eyes of your two alien travelling companions.
âY/n, is everything alright?â The Doctor asked from the far side of the console. The Master glared at this interaction, mostly because The Doctor forced his old friend to stay in the console room with him while he did some research, but also just general jealousy over your friendship with The Doctor.
âYes, I just fell asleep in the library. So, I was going to head to my room.â
âWell, have a good night.â The Doctor smiled at you before catching a jealous look from The Master
âGoodnight, Master. Goodnight, Doctor.â This caught The Masterâs attention. You said goodnight to him first despite him not saying a word to you. Maybe The Doctorâs teasing was telling the truth when he said that you indeed like The Master.
He waved a sweet goodnight to you and then watched as you sleepily stumbled through the halls toward your room. He wondered if he should run up behind you and carry you the rest of the way. The Master didnât want you stumbling, falling, or hurting yourself in your tired state.
âIsnât that your hoodie?â The Doctor commented once you were far enough away from the console room. The Master nodded.
âThen why didnât you ask for it back?â The Master missed The Doctorâs knowing smirk as he continued to watch over you protectively.
âTheyâre barely awake. Why would I want to make them uncomfortable when they are hardly even conscious?â The Master turned and glared at his old friend. He was getting incredibly close to throwing a shoe at the Doctorâs head.
âYou just want to see them in something of yours.â
âDo not!â
âDonât lie! Youâre the most possessive Time Lord I know!â
âAnd you are the most possessive Time Lord I know!âÂ
The Doctor huffed and rolled his eyes; fighting back would have been nonsensical given how argumentative the two of them usually were, and The Doctor sensed that things seemed to be clearer in The Masterâs mind now.
The Doctor moved around the console and plotted out some coordinates. However, he couldnât help but sneak a couple of glances at the clearly lovesick Master staring protectively at you as you finally made it to your room. The Doctor really needed to get the two of you together before his head exploded. He couldnât stand to watch this oblivious back-and-forth mutual pining game you and The Master played with each other.

------------------------------------------------------------
The Master was a fan of fine dining and loud demonstrations of wealth, as he always had been. He was used to that lifestyle, thanks to his parent's prestige and station on Gallifrey. Since the Time War and his banishment from his home planet, The Master obviously had to seek power in more manipulative ways and his ending up possessing wealth wasnât always guaranteed.
The Master had schemed for years trying to gain a proficient foothold in the royal court of the Purpur galaxy. Now he was the king of his own planet and what else was there for him to do? Naturally, The Master went back to messing with The Doctor and this time, she had a companion The Master actually enjoyed. The Master kidnapped you and brought you to his kingdom in order to impress you in the best way he knew how: power and wealth. If The Master got you to fall in love with him that would be the ultimate slap in the face of The Doctor, and he would no longer be alone.Â
------------------------------------------------------------
You awoke in an extravagantly detailed lavender bedroom with gold filigree on the wall and dressed in the comfiest and most expensive-looking clothes you had ever seen, let alone worn. The last thing you remembered was fire and loud explosives and the hypnotic brown eyes, filled with desire and warmth, of a beautiful stranger.Â
You fumbled, panicked, out of the large bed you had woken up in and fell onto the floor, just as the said stranger walked through the door of the room. He offered you a good morning which you ignored. You had no idea what was going on.
âWhat is this place?âÂ
âMy kingdom. Specifically, my palace. You are safe here.â You finally took a proper look at the beautiful stranger. He looked so calm and friendly, but something felt off.
âYouâre The Master, arenât you?â
âSo, The Doctor did mention me, I was hoping that she hadnât.â The stranger, the Master, seemed put off by this information. He walked into the bedroom and closed the door behind himself. You clung onto the closest bedpost, filled with fear and confusion. If The Master was planning on hurting you, there was nowhere for you to go.
âThe Doctor said that you were destitute and desperately destroying everything in your path in a vain attempt to feel something.â
âMaybe you should get to know me first and develop your own opinion of me, instead of solely listening to The Doctor.â The Master walked closer to you until he was directly across from where you were huddled on the floor. He then crouched down to look you in the eye.
âWhat do you want then? If torturing isnât the plan for today.â
âI would like you to accompany me to the gathering I am hosting two evenings from now. In between now and then, you may do whatever you like as long as you donât go contacting The Doctor or her little pets.â
âThatâs it?â You were sceptical.
âYeah, pretty much. Also, breakfast is ready if you would like something to eat. You must be exhausted, love.â
âI am pretty hungry.â You were pretty sure The Master had hypnotised you. There was plenty of evidence to suggest that. Your stomach growled and your head was heavy, and your body was weak.
âI can escort you. Or I can have a guard do that.â
âA guard, please.â The Master nodded, a little sadly, but accepted your request. He needed you to like him. If he moved too quickly or too controlling, you would never trust him.Â
âThey will be up in a moment, love.â The Master stood up, walked to the door and bowed to you before leaving the bedroom to inform a guard that you would be needing their assistance.Â
------------------------------------------------------------
The breakfast was divine. As was every meal you consumed during your time at The Masterâs palace. You were sceptical, of course, everything The Doctor had told you about The Master was that he could manipulate anyone in the most unique ways, and he already hypnotised you once, who said that he wouldnât do it again? However, The Master just seemed to want to take care of you. He made sure that you ate proper meals, had relaxing baths with expensive soaps, and gifted you the finest clothes. The Doctor never seemed to care about those things. She always forgot when you and her other Human companions needed to eat or sleep and even though minimalism can be a fine aesthetic, The Doctor almost seemed to look down on you collecting various things from your adventures. In your few days with The Master, you had already collected a stack of books, various gemmed jewellery, and random alien artefacts that The Master gave you after explaining the story behind how he got them.
Tonight was the night of the ball. After dinner with The Master, you took a long bath before getting dressed for the party. When you exited the steamy bathroom, you saw a beautiful outfit laid out on your bed ready for you to wear. You got dressed in the majority of the clothes yourself, despite a couple of laces on the back. But then you heard a knock on the door which broke you out on your thoughts about how the night would unfold.Â
âCome in.â You heard the door to your bedroom open and shut and footsteps walking toward you. You knew that it was The Master. You tried to ignore his eyes on your back as you tried to tie the laces on your outfit.
âYou look absolutely beautiful, love.â The Master finally spoke. He brought his hands up and tightened and tied the laces for you.
âThank you for the outfit.â
âOf course. Iâve got to dress up someone as stunning as you in an extravagant outfit that could match your beauty.â The Master continued to tuck and pull and adjust your outfit until he seemed happy with it.
âThere. You look perfect.â The Master smiled at you, then jolted as he remembered something.
âOne last thing!â The Master pulled out a long cloak from his bigger on the inside pocket and draped it across you to where it was tied across your chest and the cloak was draped over your left shoulder.
âThere. Now the outfit is complete. Are you ready for tonight?â
âAs ready as Iâll ever be.â The Master took what he could get from you. He knew that getting you to love him was going to be a challenge, a challenge he was excited about. But he knew that you would fall for him. He could sense it. It would just take some time.
The Master escorted you from your bedroom to the upper level of the castle that led down to the ballroom. He then led you down the marble staircase with his gloved hand and showed you off to his rich guests. After greeting and meeting with some of the guests, The Master pulled you further into the ballroom and manoeuvred you, so your left hand was placed on The Masterâs shoulder and your right hand was softly placed in his left hand. The Master then placed his right hand firmly on the small of your back and pulled you close to his chest.
You didnât know how to respond to this. You were attracted to The Master, absolutely, but he was The Doctorâs enemy. He tried to hurt her, what if he tried to hurt you?Â
The Master guided you through the dance that you didnât know. You tried your best, but even The Masterâs firm grip on your body couldnât always help you perform the dance properly.Â
Adding to your distractions was The Master himself. He was dressed in a tight dark purple suit with black and obsidian accents. You could smell the dark and hypnotic cologne he wore. And his eyes. They were always on you. Either staring into your eyes, ghosting over your body, or devouring your lips in his mind. It was mesmerizing having someoneâs attention on you so intently. But then, as you stared back into The Masterâs desire-filled eyes, you stumbled over The Masterâs feet and fell into his strong arms.
âEasy there, love. I canât have you falling for me so hard that I canât reap the rewards later.â You didnât even catch The Masterâs insinuation until much after the fact.
âIâm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to dancing.â You stumbled again.
âOr the most skilful when it comes to balancing.â
âLuckily, I am here to guide you.â The Master winked at you and gripped your body tighter in order to have greater control of your movements.
The orchestra then began playing a softer, slower song. The Master leaned closer to your face. You could feel his hot breath on your cheek. It felt like he was wanting to kiss you. You knew that you werenât ready for that, even though you were growing to like the alien. Instead, you leaned forward and rested your body against The Masterâs. You felt his body tense, not in anger or rejection, but in shock. He assumed that you were going to deny his advances outright. The Master happily wrapped his arms around you and rested his head against yours. You could feel his strong arms continuing to guide you through the alien dance, preventing you from falling or stumbling again.
The rest of the night was similar to this and more fun than you had anticipated. You met tons of new people from dozens of planets that you had never heard of before, you had delicious alien foods and drinks, and The Master taught you so many new dances and caught you whenever you stumbled or wobbled, but eventually, the night had to end. After all of the guests either left for their own planets or went to their guest rooms for the night, The Master escorted you to your room.Â
âThank you for accompanying me. This gathering would have been absolutely boring without you there.â You could feel The Master toying with the laces of your outfit playfully.
âIt was a very fun night, Master. Iâm not going to say thank you for kidnapping me, but I did have fun with you.â The Master smiled genuinely at you, but then his face became solemn and serious.
âGet some rest, love. I, unfortunately, have to take you back to The Doctor tomorrow and I assume she will exhaust with questions.â The Master took your face in his hands and kissed your forehead before turning away from you.
âDo you have to take me back?â You asked, surprising even yourself.
âIâll kidnap you again soon.â
âPromise?â
âI promise.â The Master sent you a wink before entering the room across from yours. Was he staying in that room the entire time you had been here? Maybe you would have to pay The Master a visit in the middle of the night if you were unable to sleep.

------------------------------------------------------------
The Master failed again. He had spent months on this scheme, and he failed. Just like so many schemes before. Why couldnât he just win? For once?
The Master tossed his dirty and burnt shirt into a pile of similarly burnt and destroyed shirts. He then removed each other item of clothing that he was wearing and tossed each piece into its own separate pile of burnt and destroyed clothes from past adventures and schemes. He always made a promise to repair his clothes, but he had yet to get around to finishing the said task.
The Master, like today, would just tread off to the bathroom in order to take a long shower after a failed scheme and would forget about repairing his belongings. Now completely unclothed, The Master turned on the shower and waited until it was warm to step inside.Â
Once he washed all the dirt and soot and grease and blood from his body, The Master let the water cascade down his face. He thought about the day and the scheme and all the ways he failed. The thoughts wouldnât stop, they just kept flowing like the water of the shower. The Master banged his head against the tile of the bathroom in an attempt to get the thoughts to stop. He tasted salt. He was crying. He hit his head with his fist a couple of times before trying to calm down.
------------------------------------------------------------
You woke up to the sound of the shower running. This wasnât a great sign. If The Master succeeded in his plans, he would usually wake you up to tell you the âgoodâ news. If something went wrong, he would usually stay to himself, hide away in his mind and berate himself. Of course, every after-scheme cooldown was different. The Master knew what he needed. So, if he needed a quiet shower to come down from a successful scheme carried out, you wouldnât interrupt him, and you would be there if he needed you. However, previous experiences made you wary and cautious of The Masterâs possible sensitive emotions.
The Master eventually walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist and another tossed around his shoulders. The Master looked over at you, looked away, then did a double take and jumped upon noticing that you were awake and staring at him. You apologised but The Master just waved you off and moved further into the bedroom in order to get dressed. After he was fully dressed, he just stood and stared at one of his wardrobes. He didnât know what to do now that you were awake and was starting to panic.Â
You could sense that something was wrong, so you removed yourself from the soft bed. You grabbed an old hoodie to wear over your sleep clothes to stay warm before moving to where The Master stood. You didnât really need to talk, both of you knew what was going on. The Master looked at you for a moment solemnly, while you caressed his arms and chest before he fell into your embrace. Both of you stood holding each other like that for a moment in silence while you rubbed his back and massaged his scalp until you got an idea.Â
You pulled back for a moment and told The Master to wait for a second before completely ripping yourself away from The Master's wanting grasp. You grabbed a spare weighted blanket and then pulled The Master along behind you out of your shared bedroom and into the hall of The TARDIS.
âWhere are we going, Y/n?â He sounded so sad and defeated. You just wanted to make him feel better.
âYouâll see.â
You smiled to try and give The Master some comfort and you pressed a caring kiss to the back of his hand. You led your partner to the patio of the house that The TARDIS made her outer shell present as. You sat on the large outdoor sofa and wrapped a blanket around yourself. When The Master didnât join you right away, you spread your legs and patted the sofa between them informing The Master to take a seat there. He slowly and solemnly moved toward you and took a seat between your legs. His back hunched into your stomach.
You wrapped your body, and the weighted blanket, around The Masterâs back. He sighed contently. The weight and pressure being placed on his shoulders grounded him and his chaotic mind. You kissed The Masterâs shoulders. You spent plenty of time showing love to his shoulder blades, the top of his shoulders, and the top of his spine before kissing up his neck and placing one final kiss on his cheek. You wrapped your arms tighter around him and rest your head against his.
âYou are so strong, Master. I am so proud of you. I am always proud of you. I love you so much.â
âYou donât have to do this.â He closed his eyes. You just wanted to help him feel even the tiniest bit better.
âI want to. However, you need me, I want to help you. And you deserve the praise, you always deserve the praise, Master. You are so good and kind to me.â
âYouâre the kind one, love.â The Master jolted to face you. You were the one good think he had in his life.
âYou need this, I donât deserve to be praised for doing basic things.â
âI just want you to know that I appreciate you and everything that you have ever done for me. I know that I can be a burden sometimes.â
âYou are never a burden, Master.â He only huffed and turned back to look at the Universe in response. You kissed The Masterâs cheek and nuzzled into his neck while mumbling praises.
âDo you want to talk about anything?â
âNot yet. I just want to be here with you.â
âOkay. Iâll always be here when you are ready.âÂ
The Master slumped his head against yours and you could feel him telepathically prodding your mind. You let him inside. The Master couldnât properly form the care and the appreciation he had for you into words without being self-deprecating, so he just wanted you to feel his unadulterated emotions. You felt his love, his thanks, his promises to return the favour, his hope for happiness, and his calmness from being in your arms. You felt it all. You felt all he had to offer you.
You kissed The Master all over again and held him so tightly. The two of you stayed like that for what felt like hours, just watching the Universe unfold before you while comforting and loving each other through everything that was thrown your way.
I love dark/possessive/toxically desperate Dhawan!Master like everyone else. Hypnotism and kidnapping fics where The Master is pleading with you and corrupting you into turning against The Doctor are so fun.
However
I love the idea of The Master just being so dorky and desperate for your attention and love. Like he's just grasping at straws to figure out what Human mating rituals are because he loves you, but he just fails every time.
"Do you want some [insert priceless alien jewellery that he may or may not have stolen]?â
"How about some books?â (They are texts he translated from old Gallifreyan to English. They could be fairy tales he grew up on or in-depth essays about Time Lord courting rituals. He wrote them in a manic state, so they are very messy, but he also wrote cute notes in the margins!)
"Or [insert strange random alien fruit that even he discovered recently after reading a book that he thought was about Humans but was actually about slime people at 3am]?â
"Do you want rocks? I hear Humans like rocks! Your planet is named Earth after all!â
"Just take the rock.â (Itâs a thirteen-foot-tall crystal that he dug out of the depths of some Earth cave.)
"I want you to have the rock.â
"Keep the rockâ (The TARDIS had to turn her floors into a conveyer belt in order to get it from the console room to your room and then she had to expand the door to your room just to get it in there.)
He's just trying so hard to get you to love him and he just doesn't realise that you have no idea what he's talking about or what the romantic connotation of certain alien objects are.

O rarely ever took time off of work. He was offered breaks and holidays throughout the years of working for MI6, but he always refused them and continued his beloved work. Somehow, though, you managed to convince O to take a well-deserved break. There was an autumn festival close to your shared flat with O and you thought that it would be a quiet getaway that he would enjoy.Â
âItâs quite cold out today. You should probably wear a jacket, or a jumper, at least.â O worriedly said as the two of you prepared to leave for the festival.
âO, Iâll be fine. Itâs not that cold.â You boasted as you walked to the door of the flat.
It was so cold. As soon as you walked outside your apartment you felt the bitter cold of the wind rake through your body. O gave you a questioning look before locking up the door, but you brushed him off and began leading him to the festival.
For Oâs enjoyment, you were able to hide how cold you were decently well. You constantly had a cup of hot cocoa in your hands, you huddled around heaters, and you always stayed incredibly close to O. You suspected that he knew what you were hiding, though, but you werenât going to admit anything to your sometimes prideful roommate. Your coldness didnât matter, what mattered was that O had a fun and relaxing break from work.
You were successful in that, at least. O loved the autumn festival. He loved the free cocoa and cider. He loved the corn maze. He loved hay bale ride. He loved pumpkin picking and pumpkin carving. He especially loved the autumnal food and the almost Hallmark movie-like autumnal aesthetic visible everywhere. To your surprise, O even loved the carnival rides and festival games scattered around the fairgrounds. You were so happy that he was having fun and smiling.
By the end of the evening, though, you couldnât handle the cold anymore. O wanted to see the fireworks and because this was supposed to be his break from work, you had to stay to make him happy.
You shuffled impossibly closer to O as the two of you watched the fireworks. O gave you a questioning and suspicious look, just like he had before the two of you left the flat, but you elected to ignore it. You finished your current cup of hot cacao and threw the paper cup into the recycling bin. You couldnât help but look longingly at O, he looked so happy and relaxed. You wished that you could make him this happy all the time. You also wished that he wasnât so stressed because of his job. At least, you could cheer him up on days like this.
A big gush of wind breezed through the festival and your body caused you to shiver and shake and get distracted from longing after O. But then, once you recovered from the breeze, an idea appeared in your brain. You manoeuvred closer to O and snuck your hands under his jumper. You hugged him and rested your head on Oâs shoulder.
âWhat are you doing?â O asked, confused yet overall unbothered by this new development.
âMy hands are cold.â
âBut youâre hugging me.â
âThe rest of me is cold, too.â O chuckled, which rumbled through you, He wrapped his arms around you, causing his coat to also wrap itself around you too and give you some more warmth. This definitely was the best way to watch the fireworks in the cold together.
âTold you so.â O commented superciliously.Â
âOkay, Mr Spy, no need to gloat. You must have a super secret, super sciency, alien gadget that fell from the sky that you and your people thought was a weapon but was actually just a weather machine.â
âNo, nothing like that. I just watch the news and actually listen to the weather person when they are speaking.â
âHmm, I donât believe you. You must have some alien tech.â O chuckled again at your stubborn statement.
âNext time you should just listen to me when I tell you to wear something warmer.â
âOr you could just make me do as you say.â You felt O tense around you, so you looked up at him innocently. His pupils were blown out and his mouth gaped in shock. You were worried that you had ruined the day and everything between the two of you with that comment and you were about to apologise until O spoke.
âDo you want to head home a bit early? You know, to continue my break from work celebrations in a more ⌠private ⌠environment.â A sweet yet suggestive smirk etched itself upon Oâs beautiful face.
âI would absolutely love that, O. Anything to help you relax.â

A dim light snuck into the bedroom through the opening of the curtain. You could hear the pitter-patter of rain softly hitting the roof. Even though the day was rainy and cloudy, the light peeking through the curtain was still too bright. You turned over in bed with a soft groan and settled back into the softness of your mattress.
The arm of your partner, O, snaked around your middle and he massaged his hand up and down your spine. He moved closer to you. O bumped your nose with his then kissed your forehead gently. He was always more awake in the mornings compared to you. Sometimes you wondered if he even slept.
âGood morning, love.â
âGood morning.â You grumbled while curling sleepily into Oâs chest and clutching up his sleep shirt in your hand.
âHow did you sleep?â
âVery well. Had many dreams of you.â
âOh really?â O always seemed intrigued to hear about your dreams.
âYes, in one you were an alien. In another, we were travelling in space and time together. And in another, you were conquering an alien planet after just killing the emperor of said planet. Crazy, right?â
âAstounding. You must be starving after all those adventurous dreams, I can make you some breakfast if youâd like.â In your tired state, you were blissfully unaware of Oâs worried tone as he quickly tried to steer the conversation away from your unknowingly accurate dreams.
âNo, I want you to stay here with me!â You sleepily grumbled in a childish manner. You brought the hand that was holding part of Oâs shirt to wrap around him, so he couldn't leave. Not like he would want to leave you, but you still found this measure necessary in your sleepy, hazy state.
âThen I could read you the next chapter of the book we were reading.â
âI might fall asleep if you do that.â
âI should do everything in my power to keep you awake, in that case.â O curled into you some more and nipped at your neck affectionately. That jolted you to alertness.
âO! How forward! I must be rubbing off on you.â You braved a quick peck to the outer corner of Oâs mouth before falling back into his arms.
âIn more ways than one.â O continued to tease. He always had these small random moments of forwardness that seemed a bit out of character, but O was entertaining no matter how he was acting. So, you didnât always mind the change.Â
âYou are determined to keep me awake, arenât you, Mr Spy?â
âUnfortunately for you, yes I am. So, what would you like to do this morning, my love?â
âHow about we stay in bed so I may rub off on you some more, making us plenty hungry so we can make breakfast together.â You smiled innocently, hoping that O would give in to your request. O had a hard time saying no to you, so him turning you down was a rarity, but you still felt the need to put on the innocent act.
âThat sounds absolutely delicious, love.â A smile spread across both of your faces as the two of you celebrated the beautiful rainy morning together in domestic bliss.
Summary - Relaxing with The Master in the library
Warnings - nothing, just fluff
Word Count - 538
A/n - Gender Neutral Reader. Not Requested.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You and The Master had been relaxing all day in the library, as you normally did on your days off. The Master, in particular, enjoyed leisurely days around the TARDIS library after his attempts to conquer a planet either failed or succeeded. Despite his expensive nature and his possessive streak that would cause the renegade Time Lord to show you off in decadent situations, The Master loved lazy days just existing in your presence. And, to him, there was nothing more calming than a good book and being with the person you love most.
You, however, were feeling incredibly restless today. Being exhausted the night before and collapsing into bed with The Master did nothing to kill your adrenaline from the adventure the two of you went on. Even though being in The Masterâs presence was quite enjoyable when he was reading, he would always make the most adorable facial reactions to the text before him, you didnât feel like you could sit still all that long without The Master paying some sort of attention to you.
You started bobbing your foot up and down in the air. Which did distract your mind a bit, but then you couldnât concentrate on your book. You huffed and closed the book and waited for The Master to notice your bored state. Which he, unfortunately, did not. You softly kicked your foot out to touch The Masterâs thigh. His head finally popped up from the book he was devouring. You saw in his eyes that he was questioning your action. You just continue to slide your foot up and down his leg. He tilted his head to the side to nonverbally tell you that he needed a bit more information in order to help you with whatever predicament you might have.
âI want attention.â Instantly, a smirk spread across The Masterâs face.
âCome here, love.â Maybe a bit overeagerly, you crawled across the couch and nestled into The Masterâs chest.
âBetter now.â
âMuch better.â You nuzzled further into The Masterâs chest, happy to finally have attention and physical affection. You snuck your hand up his chest and unbuttoned the top button of his shirt. When The Master didnât question you, you unbuttoned the next button. You then played with his chest hair and drew random things on his chest with your finger while looking at the book he was reading. It was in some alien language that you couldnât understand.
âCan you read to me?
âDo you want your book or mine?â
âEither one. I just want to hear your voice and be held by you.â The Master chose to read the book you had chosen aloud to the two of you. Even if he had chosen to read the book he was reading in its native language, he doubted that you would want to hear about the bloody and devastating slaughter of Skullhorn 3A-32. The Master would instead relish in the feeling of having you close to him, devouring his words and being completely consumed by his presence.
âI love you, Y/n.â The Master muttered above you after finishing a chapter.
âI love you more, Master.â
âImpossible, my little Human.â The Master kissed your forehead and returned to reading.

Yesterday was stressful. It was supposed to be relaxing, but like many outings with The Master, it turned chaotic incredibly quickly. An old enemy of The Master, who he actually assumed to be dead, saw you and The Master walking around an alien market that the two of you had gone to for a date. The old enemy immediately called for backup and began firing and trying to kill the two of you. Thankfully, you and The Master were quite close to his TARDIS and The Master quickly piloted his ship far away from the disturbance.
The Master instantly tried to calm you down. The outing was supposed to do that, but The Master would make do with his labyrinthine ship. The two of you ended up making and eating a lovely meal together and watched a couple of movies, the two of you even played hide and seek before relaxing in a massive bubble bath at the end of the day.
You woke up the next morning calm and relaxed and completely in love, and so did The Master. Neither of you had any worries about your ruined date the day before. You curled into The Masterâs chest and uttered a good morning, which the Time Lord eagerly replied to in his deeper sleepy morning voice that you adored. The two of you talked for a bit about your dreams, the previous day, and how well you slept before falling into a comfortable silence.
You softly brought your pointer finger down the curve of The Masterâs nose. He closed his eyes at the gentle feeling. Through that small gesture, he could feel all of your love for him pouring out of you and into him. It was almost funny how absurd this situation was to him. He never could imagine someone would end up loving him this much. If he discovered that a person felt this much love for him, he would have laughed and used their passion to his advantage. But you were different. So special. So divine in the eyes of that old alien.
You booped The Masterâs nose, causing him to escape the grasp his thoughts had on him a moment ago. The Master gently took and held your hand. Then he brought your index finger to his lips.
âI love you, Y/n.â
âI love you more, Master.â The Master tried to disagree with you, but you leap up and covered The Masterâs face in kisses upon kisses until he jokingly relented. But he had to make you know how adoringly he felt about you.
âI love you so much, my little Human.âÂ
âI love you mo-â The Master cut you off with a kiss.
âJust take the compliment, love. Let me express my love for you.â You fell into The Master's arms, slightly defeated, but in love, and spent the rest of the morning wrapped in his embrace.

Sneaking Around Part 1
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been tense aboard The TARDIS since The Doctor caught you and The Master âentangled togetherâ, as The Doctor described it. You had assumed that your friendships with The Doctor and The Fam would become tense after the truth was revealed, but this was worse than anything you could imagine. You again assumed that this cold reaction had a lot to do with how The Doctor found you and The Master. That you couldnât disagree with, it was awkward, but you did hope that your friends would be pleased for you for having found some happiness in your life. But it turned out that The Doctor thought that The Master hypnotised you into having feelings for him.
You couldnât even turn to The Master for comfort during this strenuous time, though. The Doctor demanded that you and The Master were not to see each other again. The Doctor had rearranged the TARDIS floor plan and placed intensive security measures so The Master couldnât hack into it. You were instructed to always be joined by a member of the Fam. The Master was moved to a more secure part of The TARDIS far, far away from you.
You had tried to sneak away from your guard of the day many times and hunt for The Masterâs room, but you were never successful. You were always led back to your guard by The TARDIS. All you wanted was The Master.
One morning, while you were late for breakfast, you walked in on Graham and Yaz gossiping about The Master. Apparently, he had been trying to hack The TARDIS systems but failed and resorted to roaming the halls of The TARDIS in search of you. The TARDIS naturally notified The Doctor of his actions and the two Gallifreyians were currently engaged in a verbal fight. Ryan, who was supposed to be your guard of the day, was trying to find where they were fighting before you did.Â
Naturally, you snuck off to try and find The Master and The Doctor before Ryan. You were a part of this, and you should be allowed to discuss your wants with them. Also, The Doctor couldnât keep you away from The Master forever. Even if The Doctor and The Fam were right and The Master never cared about you, it was your right to be mad at him, not theirs.Â
You heard distant yelling, and you knew that you were close, but then you heard The TARDIS beeping. Something in your subconscious knew that this time machine that you called home was not talking to you and was instead notifying The Doctor and The Fam. You began barreling down The TARDIS hallway toward the yelling. You could hear The Master and The Doctor now but then the hallway you ran into went completely silent. The TARDIS was keeping you away from them. You did your best to find where they were, manoeuvring around the labyrinthine halls of the ship. Eventually hearing yelling again and you ran down the hallway to finally see The Master again after weeks. But when the distant voices were finally becoming clear Ryan ran into you.
âPlease, Ryan!â
âNo, Iâm sorry.â You bickered with Ryan for an indiscernible amount of time. You had thought that you were making some progress in convincing Ryan to let you see The Master finally, but through your pleading monologue, you hadnât noticed Ryan pushing you back throughout the TARDIS halls.
âYou will have to talk to The Doctor.â
âThen let me see Her! Wait, why are we in the kitchen?â You sighed realising that Ryan had walked you all the way back to the kitchen probably with the help of The TARDIS.
âItâs not fair that I am not allowed to talk to him, let alone see him!â You screamed at Ryan while he prepared breakfast for the two of you.
âThe Doctor says that you will feel better once The Masterâs hypnotism wears off. And you have to avoid seeing him during that process.â
âHypnotism?! Ryan, The Master never hypnotised me. Ever! Not even when he was O! He would never do that to me!â
âHow do you know, Y/n? Youâve got to admit, we barely know The Doctor even though we travel with her. How could you possibly know that the person who tried to kill us wouldnât also hypnotise you and manipulate you?â
âHe promised me. The Master promised me that he would never hurt me, and I believe him. Not because he hypnotised me, but because I love him and I know that he loves me, too. We wouldnât do anything to hurt each other.â Ryan only sighed defeatedly and handed you your food. He felt bad for you, but he didnât know how to handle this situation, and frankly, neither could you. You took the food that Ryan had offered you with a huff and ate in silence before spending the rest of the day in your room.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A couple more weeks had passed since you overheard The Master and The Doctor fighting, and you still hadn't seen The Master. You believed that The Master hadnât hypnotised you, but you played The Doctorâs games sullenly. Four days ago was the day The Doctorâs analysis of your brain ended and much to your excitement, there was no evidence of mind control. The Doctor was stumped and frustrated. She didnât tell you then, though, she told you much after the fact.
The Doctor was going to tell you this morning, having finally accepted the truth. She guessed that she had to allow you to see The Master now; there was no reason why she could stop you. Except for the fact that she had received a distress signal from the planet Dazsos. The Doctor figured that she would tell you after all of you helped saved the planet as a reward for your hard work.Â
All of you left The TARDIS in two groups; you joined the Fam in talking to the President of Dazsos and investigating the surrounding grounds of the Presidentâs office while The Doctor and The Master did the heavy lifting. With this system implemented, all of you helped save the planet relativity quickly. The President thanked all of you for helping him and his people and allowed your group of friends to explore their planet after they and their people prepared all of you an extravagant dinner. The only warning the President gave you and your friends was to avoid the native Dyllitrio plant.
After the dinner, you had hoped to finally talk to The Master, but The Doctor pulled him away from you while Yaz pulled you in the opposite direction. You sighed defeatedly, but you tried to distract yourself from your loss by enjoying the rest of the day and the planet you found yourself on. The Fam, mainly Graham, helped a lot. The four of you laughed and joked about random things and took in the beauties of the planet, but then, somehow, you all got onto the topic of The Master. You didnât bring him up because you knew that your friends would just complain about him, but you also couldnât stop your friends from talking.Â
Your mood instantly changed as The Fam began ranting about The Master. You tried to block out what they were saying, but some things poked through your upset mind.
âWhy him?â
âHe will never care about you; you know that right?â
âI canât believe you actually like him!â
You huffed as you followed The Fam as they were all collectively ranting toward you about your partner that you were still determined to see again. You didnât want to hear what they had to say; they had already uttered similar phrases since they discovered that you and The Master were together. Multiple times throughout the quarantine you defeatedly believed that your supposed friends would never understand, and you appeared to be correct.Â
You sighed and slowly walked away from the ranting group in order to find The Master and The Doctor. They would both be annoyed by the fact that you went wandering off by yourself and potentially interrupted their talk, but you were positive that they would both understand why you left The Fam.
After retracing your steps, you finally saw The Master and The Doctor. They were walking swiftly along a cobblestone pathway; the two of them appeared to be arguing animatedly. The closer you had gotten to the President of Davsosâs residence, the more cobblestone pathways would crop up and lead you to the building. The pathway you were walking on eventually connected to the one the two rebel Time Lords were walking down, but in between the two paths was a verbose garden. If you were to walk or even run down your pathway, The Master and The Doctor were still far enough away to be all the way down the hill ahead of you. You were impatient and you wanted to see The Master after weeks of not being able to. So, you ran through the garden.
You didnât manage to run that fast. Whatever alien plants were potted in the ground apparently didnât like you treading in their bed. The smaller plants would nip and snap at your heels and try to wrap themselves around your ankles. You could always shake them away from you, though, and continue your pursuit of The Master.Â
Before you, you saw a bundle of thick shrubs surrounding and stretching out from a tree. Thankfully, you were far enough away from the tree to avoid any consequences from it, but the shrubs possessed a challenge.
You tried your best to get out of range of the plants. And you almost thought that you had until you felt a thick vine wrap itself around your leg and drag you backwards. You let out a loud scream out of surprise and pain. The death grip the vine had on you was unyielding, you could already feel yourself losing circulation in your foot. Just as you thought that that lone vine was your only worry, another vine wrapped itself around your other leg, and then sharp spikes shot into your flesh. You then screamed in pain again as a searing hot wave ran through your body, starting where the spikes were digging into your skin and moving upward.
Your legs grew increasingly numb as you were dragged toward the shrubs. Occasionally, more sharp pains and heat waves would shoot through your body. You assumed that that pain was caused by more barbs being carved into your skin and the heat was caused by some sort of poison. The pain was becoming less apparent, though, just as the world around you began to fade and blur. Just as your vision went completely black, you saw two figures running toward you from over the hill.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Master and The Doctor ran to you as fast as they could; even with their advanced biology, they were heaving breaths in fear and adrenaline.
âY/n! Oh, my gods, Y/n! What trouble have you gotten yourself into now?â The Master slide down on his knees and scooped you up in his arms while The Doctor soniced the plants to release you. The vines of the Dyllitrio plant completely unleashed their hold on you, shrieking and skulking back to the shrubs they weaved through.
The Master caressed your face in worry to wipe away the sweat from your forehead. You were beginning to thrash around, and spasm and your eyes began to roll back into your skull; the poison was beginning to spread.
âWhatâs wrong with them?!â The Doctor questioned, joining The Master by your side.
âI donât know! Iâm not familiar with the vegetation of this planet!â
âGive me a tick. Got to look something up.â The Doctor jumped up and pointed her sonic screwdriver up into the sky, which caused her TARDIS to materialise in front of the three of you. The Doctor quickly ran inside her ship, leaving The Master to help you, mumbling something about the library
âDoctor! Now is not the time to do a bit of light reading!â The Master screamed at his old friend. He swore under his breath, but you were more important than his anger towards The Doctor. He had to take care of you because there was no way to know what The Doctor could possibly be doing right now.
The Master carried you through the halls of The TARDIS. The medbay doorway couldnât come across his path soon enough. He kicked the medbay door open with his foot, much to the TARDISâs dismay, and placed you onto the nearest hospital bed. The Master began to frantically hook you up to the machines in the medbay to monitor your vital signs while he waited for The Doctor.
âI found it!â The Masterâs old friend screamed as she barreled into the medbay holding an ancient and dusty-looking book.
âFound what?â
âThe antidote!â The Doctor threw the book she was holding onto your legs, which The Master quickly removed.
âThatâs where they're hurt, you idiot!â
âSorry! Canât talk now. In a hurry!â The Master rolled his eyes at The Doctorâs ignorance.
âDoctor, if Y/n survives this, Iâm going to kill you!â The Doctor ignored The Masterâs comment and ran to a random corner of the room with a bunch of cabinets, rifling through them haphazardly. She finally came back holding an IV bag containing a green liquid and a small pot containing a green gel.
âIâll hook up the IV. Start removing any thorns and cleaning the wounds with antiseptic. Then spread this gel on the wounds.â Both of the Gallifreyians worked quickly to help you overcome the poison of the Dyllitrio plant. They removed all of the thorns that were dug into your skin and spread the reversal gel over your legs. The Master carefully wrapped your healing wounds in bandages and gauze while The Doctor ranted about something that The Master wasnât really processing.Â
âCan you give us some privacy, Doctor?â The Doctor nodded and mentioned something about collecting her companions before slowly walking out of medbay, seemingly suddenly aware of the gravity of what just happened.
The Master pulled up a chair to your hospital bed and just looked at you, taking the image of you passed out, wounded and hooked up to tons of medical devices fully into his mind. This really was The Masterâs worst fear. Before the two of you began dating, he would have stated that his biggest fear was being captured by The Doctor. Now that he had you and experienced what love and care could actually feel like, seeing you hurt and broken really was The Masterâs worst fear.Â
He really wanted to hurt The Doctor. You wouldnât be like this if The Doctor hadnât forced the two of you apart. But you wouldnât want The Master to do that. You would just want to be with him. Maybe, when you felt better, you would make a snarking comment about how The Master finally had complete control of you now that you were hurt, and The Master would have to help you with everything. Thatâs what The Master wanted to experience, not another revenge plan.
The Master leaned forward and held your hand that wasnât connected to the IV. He brought your hand up to his lips and kissed the back of it before moulding your limp hand to cradle his face. The Master stayed like this for a while, just trying to enjoy being in your presence again and trying to suppress his ever-growing rage for The Doctor by reminding himself of his love for you. The Master then moved to brush some dirt that remained on your face from when you had fallen on Dazsos. He kept his hand there and just held your face. For some reason, he just felt the need to talk to you. It had been so long since he was able to do that.
âI donât know if you can hear me, Y/n, but Iâm here for you. Everythingâs going to be okay, love. Iâm not going to let anything happen to you. You are going to be just fine. Iâll make sure that you withstand this, and Iâll do anything and everything in my power to help you with the recovery process. And Iâm not going to let anyone tear me away from you again. Itâll just be you and me. Iâll make everything right again. For you.â
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In your dreamy hazy, poison and antidote-filled state, all you saw was The Master. His calming tone, his deep and hypnotic brown eyes, his strong hands holding your body, his affinity for purple clothes; everything that made The Master The Master surrounded you and filled your mind. It gave you hope. It reassured you that everything was going to be okay, and you were going to be perfectly fine, even though you couldnât really remember if there was anything to be upset over.
Suddenly, a bright light seemed to swirl and mix with all of the purples and memories of The Master, almost engaging in a battle. The brightness won out and overtook your mind. You felt as if you were falling until your eyes jolted open making you realize that you had just been dreaming before then.
âGood morning sleeping beauty. Have a nice nap, did you?â The Master knocked your chin with his knuckles before wiping away some of his tears. You blinked rapidly, trying to understand your surroundings. Once adjusting to the bright light of the medbay, you finally realized that The Master was beside you.
âMaster! Youâre here!â
âWhat did you think that The Doctor could get rid of me that easily? Never!â A stray tear fell down The Masterâs face, breaking the strong facade he was trying to put on for you.
âYouâre crying.â
âYeah, I almost lost you, you silly Human.â You tried to move and brush away the tear, but The Master pushed you back down onto the hospital bed while tutting.
âNo, no, stay down, love. Your wounds are still healing.â
âEverything feels fuzzy.â
âThat would be both the side effects of the poison you were stung with and the treatment. Youâll be back to full health and memory in a day or two, three days at maximum.â You nodded in delirious understanding. Of course, three days was a long time for you and your Human patience, but you mainly only focused on The Masterâs voice. The Master chuckled at you. You couldnât tell if he was amused by your blissful drug-addled state or he telepathically heard you thinking about his voice, but you didnât mind. You just wanted to be close to him. Especially after not seeing him for so long.
âCan you cuddle me, please? I want to be closer to you.â The Master looked around the room quickly before agreeing to your request. He apologised to you, though, because he had to leave your side for a moment in order to get a blanket. He could tell that you wanted him to stay with you, but he wanted you to be comfortable.Â
The Master quickly retrieved a blanket and returned to your hospital bed. He covered you in the blanket and helped you shift over on the bed while making sure to not cause any extra injury. He then finally joined you on the hospital bed. The Master helped you cuddle into his side. Then he caressed your face, your neck, and every part of you that was not hurt and placed many bittersweet kisses on your forehead.
âIâve missed you. So much.â
âIâve missed you, too, Y/n.â
âI wanted you. I needed you, Master.â
âIâm so sorry, my love. I tried to talk to you and see you so many times, but The Doctor always stopped me. And I tried to keep civil with The Doctor and her little pets, so as to not hurt you, but I hate how much time we have spent apart.â
âI tried to secretly see you, too, but someone, or The TARDIS, always stopped me. I just wanted to be with you, Koschei. So, so badly.â
âAnd I just wanted to be with you, Y/n. Thankfully, we are together now, though. And we will get through all of this together. I promise.â
âI really love you, Koschei. Like, really really love you.â You had begun to tear up now, again, partially because of the drugs you were on but also because of the joy of seeing The Master again.
âI really love you, too, Y/n. Like really really love you, my little Human.â
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
âHe actually cares about them.â Graham perked up after seeing The Master reassure you on the display screen on the TARDIS console.
âYeah, he does.â The Doctor responded coldly.
âWe still canât be certain. He could be lying or hypnotising them or all of us.â Yaz piped up, she still didnât trust The Master.
âHeâs not lying or hypnotising or manipulating. The Master actually cares about Y/n. Now, I suggest that we all head to bed. Itâs been a long day.â The Doctor moved away from the monitor to click and press some buttons as a distraction, waiting for her companions to leave the console room. She saw out of the corner of her eye that Yaz hesitated from leaving and turned to say something but ended up closing her mouth abruptly and turned to fully leave the room. The Doctor understood why Yaz and the rest of The Fam had questions about your and The Master's relationship. It would definitely be something to get used to. But The Doctor knew The Master since childhood and knew that his feelings were genuine.Â
For the moment, The Doctor was just trying to be happy for the two of you. You both had been for too much for her to be mad or suspicious right now. However, if The Master actually did anything to hurt you, there would most definitely be hell to pay. But there was nothing for her or The Fam to be worried about; The Master loved you more than anything in the Universe and would do everything to make sure you were fully protected.

The Doctor tracked The Master down to a small cottage in middle England and he could not believe what he had discovered. He really could not believe his eyes. Out of everything they had experienced together for thousands of years, this was the most shocking thing The Master had ever accomplished. How did The Master end up with you and he didnât?Â
Of course, The Doctor had no idea who you were, but according to the scans he performed, they proved that you were Human. The Master hated Humans, The Doctor loved them more than his own species! He should be with you, not her! The Doctor had to see what his Best Enemy was planning and save you from her.
The Doctor landed his TARDIS outside of the protective field he detected and began to creep toward the cottage. Along the way, he was investigating his surroundings, searching for anything suspicious or deadly. To his surprise, he didnât really find anything that would alarm him.Â
The Doctor observed neatly planted trees, shrubs, and flowers decorating the cobblestone pathway leading up to the cottage. He noticed that whoever had designed the layout of the area had a fondness for weeping willow trees. There were probably about thirty weeping willows planted throughout the large garden surrounding the cottage.Â
The Doctor stopped beside one of those trees and inspected the flowers blooming on the branches. He suspected that these trees were not from Earth and were actually from the planet Lypitta. Meaning that The Master was planning to poison all of Earthâs leaders with a handmade blend of itiia poul klailei leaf tea and take over the Earth once said leaders were dead and out of her way. However, upon further investigating the tree with his sonic, The Doctor discovered that it was just a normal Earthly weeping willow tree. Why would The Master plant regular Human trees instead of something that could wield destruction in her villainous hands?
âWho the hell are you?!â You screamed as you brandished a bat protectively while running out of your home toward the stranger in your yard.
âIâm The Doctor. Iâm here to help.â
âBy snooping around my garden?â You held the bat higher, ready to attack this stranger.
âDarling? What are you - Oh. Itâs you.â The Master strode out of the front door of the cottage but immediately stopped in annoyance when she caught a glimpse of The Doctor.
âYou know this person?â
âYes, Heâs uh ⌠an old friend. Why donât both of you come inside so we can talk?â You took one last look at The Doctor before rushing up to The Master. You were now calmer but still curious, especially about who this stranger was to your partner. The Master gladly wrapped an arm securely around your middle and looked over her shoulder to make sure her old friend was following.
The Doctor entered the cottage slowly, not really knowing what to expect. He stood in the doorway watching you and The Master moving an extra seat around a small table and cleaning up some random objects and clothes strewn around the visible parts of the house. The Master gestured to one of the seats, implying for The Doctor to sit there. The Doctor did just that while you and The Master organised a few more things before joining him.Â
The three of you were incredibly silent, looking around almost everywhere except each other. You were growing anxious, so you reached out to The Master for comfort. She gladly took your hand and squeezed it reassuringly, it felt as if she needed you, too. The Doctor couldnât stop staring at the place where the two of you were now interlocked. That should have been him holding your hand a reassuring you, not The Master.
âHow long have you been on Earth?â Finally, The Doctor spoke, interrupting the embarrassing silence and drawing his hurt eyes away from where you were holding the Masterâs hand.
âProbably about fifteen years. I had a brilliant plan to destroy you and your beloved planet, and I was just about to execute it, but then I met Y/n. I abandoned my plan and destroyed everything relating to it, then I reached out to Y/n. We have been in a happy relationship ever since.â The Master looked at you lovingly while briefly recounting your past. The Doctor didnât believe her for a moment.
âShe never hid her past from me. She was transparent with me from the very beginning.â You added. The Master had once mentioned in passing that The Doctor only saw her as a manipulative liar. You felt the deep need to stand up for your partnerâs character.
âThat doesnât sound like her.â
âListen, Doctor, I donât understand what your problem is, but it sounds like you donât really know what Koschei is like.â You retorted.
âDarling, can you please make us some tea?â The Master nicely asked you in order to avoid an argument to erupt in your living room. You regretfully nodded, you wanted to get to know your partnerâs old friend, but you walked into the kitchen anyway to prepare some tea for the three of you. The Doctor waited for you to be securely in the kitchen before he dramatically leaned forward and spoke to The Master in a hushed, yet aggravated tone.
âYouâve hypnotised them. You must have.â
âWhy canât you just be happy for me for once?â
âI will never be happy about the idea of you hypnotising innocent people.â
âI have never hypnotised Y/n and I never would. How dare you accuse me of doing such a thing!â
âIâll stop whatever plan you are devising, and I will save Y/n from you!â
âIn the many centuries I have known you, Doctor, I have never known you to be this delusional. Itâs truly astounding! You must get your head checked! And on a more serious note, stay away from Y/n. You are clearly delusional, but if you hurt Y/n or kidnap them away from me or away from our home, I will not hesitate to destroy you.â The Master threatened.
âSee! I knew you were still evil!â
âI just want to see Y/n safe. You are the one threatening that. I am in no way planning on returning to my life before Y/n, unless you take them away from me, Doctor.â
âI donât believe you.â The Master huffed. She slouched back into her chair and pinched the bridge of her nose before speaking again.
âI pity you, Doctor, and I wish that you would have reacted more rationally. We used to be friends. I havenât forgotten that, but clearly, you have.â
âMaster -â
âI was afraid that this is how you would react. Thatâs why I didnât tell you of Y/n when we first began dating or on our first anniversary or even when moved in together. I know that you no longer care about our history before I made my mistakes. I think you should leave before we continue this in front of Y/n and you upset them.â The Master looked The Doctor in the eye with sincerity. The Doctor didnât know what to believe anymore.
âThe teaâs ready! I made Prince of Wales. I also got us some biscuits and cookies. The Master once mentioned that you had a sweet tooth, Doctor.â You said cheerfully while walking back into the room where the two Gallifreyians were sitting.
âSomething came up in The Doctorâs schedule, Iâm afraid, and he wonât be able to stay for tea.â The Master sent a glare to The Doctor, hoping that he really would spare you from overhearing over a thousand years' worth of hatred for each other being spewed out venomously.
âYes, I am terribly sorry to have troubled you, but I must be leaving.â
âWell, at least take some cookies. Theyâre homemade!â The Doctor bittersweetly piled some cookies onto a napkin and gave you a tight-lipped smile.Â
Once outside, The Doctor took one last look at you through the little cottage window. He wondered if you were truly happy. You did look happy. The Master also looked happier than The Doctor had ever seen her throughout all of her regenerations, and thatâs what scared him. The Doctor would definitely be keeping a close eye on the two of you. Possibly he could reach out to you when you were alone. Maybe he could even help you see the truth in The Masterâs character. And maybe you would even see how much better for you The Doctor would be. The Doctor had to help you see the truth.

The Master thought that this was all a dream. He had been alone for so long. The only things in his life were pain, death, revenge, betrayal and loneliness. Now he had a group of people who didnât hate him. âFriendsâ was probably too strong of a word, he knew that, but at least he wasnât alone anymore.Â
The Master couldnât help but spiral sometimes; thinking that all of this was a dream, and he would wake up alone again. Or, even worse, he was plotting a revenge plan on the planet Hypnos and a Ypnyotic Worm had burrowed into his brain and was now injecting him with its poisonous and hypnotic venom. So, all of this could be a fever dream. Even though he liked not being alone anymore, he could easily move on if he found out that the life he had been living with The Doctor and her little companions was all a dream. He would not be able to move on from you so easily, however.Â
You were the opposite of him. When The Master still denied his feelings for you, he tried to compare you to The Doctor and any of her pets, past or present, but he was never able to make a successful comparison. You were uniquely yourself. You were bright and lively, even during your bad days, you always tried to make the best of any situation. But you weren't afraid to talk back and confront The Doctor, unlike a lot of her pets. The Master loved that about you. You wanted to see the Universe, but you werenât desperate to have The Doctor love you.Â
Along with your alluring personality, The Master had a soft spot for you. You were the first person to reach out to The Master once he joined The TARDIS crew, to try and extend the olive branch of peace to him. The Doctor didnât even need to ask you to, like how she had to ask the rest of her companions to do so. You just wanted him to feel welcomed. You couldnât imagine how difficult an adjustment this must have been for him and, considering the fact that everyone else aboard were distancing themselves from him, you didnât want to add to the dogpile of negativity.
Now, the two of you were like two peas in a pod, doing almost everything together. You both even had a set routine. You would help him cook breakfast for the companions and The Doctor and then after all of you ate, you and The Master would go to the library. There you would either choose books for the other to read, pick a book and read together silently by the library fireplace, or read aloud to each other. Sometimes though, even though the two of you would choose books to read, you would not read them. Instead, you would continue the conversations you began while making breakfast until it was time for lunch.Â
You were late today, however. The Doctor was off doing whatever, and her other companions were still asleep, so your routine wasnât that horribly and inconveniently skewed, but The Master was worried. You were never late. You voiced to him, one morning, that you only kept the schedule for him because he was so particular, but you were still always on time.Â
Just as The Master grew tired of waiting and prepared to make his way to your room to see what was up with you, you walked through the doorway of the kitchen. You jumped a bit when you saw how upset and tense he looked, staring down the doorway. He tried to calm down quickly. He didnât want you to think that he was mad at you, he was just worried. But he still had questions for you and your lateness.
âIs everything alright?â
âYes! Of course. I was just thinking and pacing in my room and lost track of time. Iâm sorry for being late. Do you have something planned for breakfast today?â You grabbed your apron and put it on, all the while rambling and walking briskly through the room with barely a glance cast to the Time Lord. The Master didnât respond to your follow-up questioning and instead walked over to you to look you in the eye.
âIf something is wrong, you can tell me.â The Master awkwardly placed his hand on your shoulder.Â
âI know that things might be a bit unusual, but I thought that we have been growing close.â
âNothingâs wrong, Master. I would tell you if something was bothering me, I promise.â You smiled sincerely towards the rebel Time Lord, and he seemed to believe you even though he was still curious about your strange behaviour. So, the two of you decided to play normal and prepare breakfast as you usually did. The Master entertained you with various embarrassing stories of The Doctor and numerous stories that painted The Master to be a great warrior. You loved hearing The Masterâs tales, but despite the fun you were having, you couldnât help but think back to the realisation you had made that morning.Â
You woke up more excited to make breakfast with The Master than you had ever before. You just thought that you were lonely, The Master being one person on the TARDIS to take the time to truly understand you. But when you were in the shower, you realised the difference in your feelings. You had fallen in love with The Master. You panicked. You were excited for yourself but quickly became fearful that The Master would never reciprocate. So, you paced around your room and thought of how you were going to handle this situation. You resolved to just play along with the friendship you and The Master had formed and hide your feelings for as long as possible. Thatâs when you noticed that you were late, so you ran to the TARDIS kitchen to keep up appearances.
You and The Master were almost finished with breakfast. The two of you had made this breakfast several times, so despite the delay, you finished the meal basically on time. After the meal was prepared and the table was set, you would be the one to notify the rest of the companions and The Doctor that breakfast was ready. The TARDIS had placed a large pull-down lever on the furthest wall of the kitchen that would set off a string of chimes and bells in everyoneâs rooms. If anyone wasnât in their room, the TARDIS would notify them herself after you pulled the lever.Â
So, you made your way to the device. The Master stopped, however. He grabbed your arm softly and turned you back around to face him. You gave him a questioning look and The Master opened his mouth to speak. He closed his mouth, clueless of what to say, and stood in thought for a moment before finally speaking.
âI meant what I said earlier, Y/n. If something is wrong or you just need to talk about something, Iâll be here if you need me. Youâve been here for me more than necessary. I would like to return the favour.â
âMaster, I want âŚâ You trail off when The Master moves his hand up to your face and brushes the pad of his thumb over your cheek. Your eyes locked onto his. It could have been the atmospheric yellow lighting that permeated The Doctorâs TARDIS, but you could have sworn that The Masterâs pupils dilated.
âYou had a bit of flour on your face.â You nod in understanding but turn away quickly to hide your warming face. Upon turning, you see The Doctor, Yaz, Ryan, Graham and Dan all standing awkwardly in the second doorway of the kitchen. You didnât know how much of the encounter they observed, but judging their open-mouthed and questioning faces, you assumed that they had seen enough to come to their own conclusions about your relationship with The Master. The Doctor coughed to defuse the tension and barreled past her companions to get to her seat as fast as possible.
âWhat wonderful breakfast will we be enjoying today, then?â
Despite The Doctorâs attempt to lighten the mood, she was unsuccessful. All of you mainly ate in silence, except for when the Doctor would feel awkward with the silence and try to ramble her way out of it. The Master would always roll his eyes when The Doctor would do this. You always managed to catch him when he would do that, causing you to giggle a bit and try to hide your face from him and your friends.Â
The Master kept looking at you throughout the meal, though, mainly wondering what you were thinking. He loved the giggles he would cause, but he knew something was different with you today and he inspected every part of your demeanour for a hint of what could be troubling you. You didnât seem upset like you had just received bad news. You looked calm, more so like you came to a realisation and are happy about what you just realised. He hoped that it was something about him, but you probably didnât think of him as anything other than a charity case.Â
The Doctor and her companions finished up their breakfasts and gradually walked out of the kitchen to go about days. Thankfully today was a calm day without a set adventure, so you could all just do as you pleased. Yaz was the last to exit the room, dragging The Doctor out behind her. They seemed close. And you didnât seem to care or notice. All you did was finish eating your own meal before beginning to clear up the table. So, The Master calmed himself when he ruled out jealously from his list of possibilities for why you might have been upset this morning.Â
The Master had noticed over his time in the TARDIS that you didnât appear to have a crush on anyone on board, you mostly hung out around him, even on adventures. Maybe you realised that you liked someone? The Master assumed that you probably liked someone back on Earth, definitely not him. Why would you like him?
When you and The Master began to curate this routine of yours, the two of you agreed with the other to do the clean-up after breakfast. The Doctor and her companions, but especially The Doctor, were surprised that The Master would demean himself by washing the dishes, but unknownst to all of them, The Master just liked hanging out with you. The general schedule eventually extended to the rest of The Doctorâs companions cooking lunch and dinner either going out or the two groups would take turns.Â
The quietness between the two of you continued while you washed up, but there was an excitement hidden in your actions. Both you and The Master loved the next part of the routine, going to the library.Â
Thankfully, you and The Master didnât walk to the library in silence. Upon leaving the kitchen and starting your journey to the library, you sparked up a conversation about The Masterâs childhood. The Master was shocked, at first. He wondered why you would want to learn about his past. But he had opened up to you about his time on Gallifrey before, so he brushed it off as you just being curious.
Upon entering the library, you went your separate ways searching for the best book for the other. You went off to the section of the library you could actually read. The Master could read almost anything in the library, but he chose to stay close to you, observing you to see if everything was truly okay.
The Master looked at you through the missing books on the bookshelf. He smiled when you scratched an itch on the tip of your nose adorably. Then shook his head in fear; he realised what that thought meant. He had had these thoughts before, but for some reason, his brain didnât make the greater connection. He conjectured with himself that he most likely didnât realise his feelings for you because he was relishing in the feeling of no longer being alone. The fact that you were late this morning made him anxious. He feared that you were hurt, lost, or just bored of him. He couldnât stand any of those possibilities. Especially the thought that you would no longer wish to be around him one day. He assumed that that would happen, though.
The Master looked down at the book in his hands, but he was not looking at anything in particular. The Master was too lost in thought to pay attention to anything. He was too distracted by you and the thought of being with you and how to make you feel better today.
You found your book and motioned to The Master, but he didnât notice you through the bookshelf. You walked around the bookshelf, trying to get The Masterâs attention. You called out to him multiple times, but he just stood in the middle of the aisle, holding a book loosely and staring at his feet. You reached out to gently grab his arm. He jolted at your touch; his eyes fluttered around before finally landing on your eyes.Â
âDid something happen? Are you okay?â The Master blinked in response, still a bit confused after being drawn out of his imagination.
âOf course Iâm okay. Did you find a book?â
âYeah, what about you? Are you ready to sit down?â
âIâm not really interested in anything today.â
âOh. Do you want to call it a day?â
âDo you?â
âNo. I like spending the days with you, Master. Do you want to read with me? Or we can do something else.â
âI can read to you if you want. Like I did when you were sick a couple of weeks ago with Tarrairiuum Flu.âÂ
âIâd love that, Master!â You bounced on the balls of your feet before excitedly pulling him toward your favourite sofa. He stumbled a bit but recovered quickly and followed you, continuing to hold your hand tightly. He wondered if you were just doing this to cheer him up. If all you were doing, the entire time he had been staying on The Doctorâs TARDIS, was tricking him into feeling things. If you were tricking him into being a better person. Tricking him into not scheming. Tricking him to love you. All to appease The Doctor. You couldnât love him. You just couldn't. He was a monster.Â
You manoeuvred the Master to where he was lying down on the sofa by the now lit fireplace thanks to The TARDIS. He couldnât tear his eyes from you the entire time. When The Master was finally settled, you grabbed a quilt that was thrown over a nearby chair. You crawled over The Master and cuddled into his side with your head on his chest, just like you had when you were sick. The beats of his hearts gave you so much comfort to you then and now.
âComfortable?â The Master questioned with a smirk.
âVery.â
âGood.â The Master adjusted a bit to open the book you had chosen and began to read.
You stared at him for a moment. His voice always made you feel so many things at once. There was a softness to it that always relaxed you. When he was excited, you could tell in his tone, and it always made you happy to see him joyful. You would always laugh when he would make a sarcastic comment about The Doctor in your ear, there was always jealous gravel laced in his speech. He always sounded so beautiful to you.Â
His soft yet slightly chapped lips moved steadily as he read the words of your favourite book. He was about to finish the chapter, and you moved impossibly closer to him. He finished the chapter with gravitas and made you excited for the next chapter even though you had read the book many, many times. He partially closed the book, one of his hands being used as a placeholder. You took his unoccupied stance as an opportunity to kiss his cheek in a moment of love and impulsiveness. A smile broke out on your face when you saw his flabbergasted expression. That was a look you had never seen on his beautiful face before.
âWhy did you do that, Y/n?â He sounded scared and worried. Two feelings you never heard him express except for this morning.
âBecause I wanted to, Master.â
âDonât play with me, Y/n.â
âBut what if you are so much fun to play with?â You teased and giggled. But The Masterâs expression only darkened and grew more serious, so you dropped the joking attitude.Â
âWhatâs wrong, Master?â
âYou donât mean it. So, I donât find your teasing funny.â The Master snapped his head back to the book, but only because he couldnât look you in the eye as you rejected him.
âBut I do mean it.â
âNo, you donât. Donât pretend just to make me feel better.â
âOkay, Iâm going to stop this before we just bicker back and forth. What will it take for you to believe me, Master?â
âI donât know.â The Master mumbled sulkingly. You stared at him for a bit longer, upset by how defeated he looked. You moved to kiss his cheek, but you moved slowly to give him the opportunity to push you away. He didnât move away, so you kissed his cheek again. Then his jaw, then his chin, then his nose, and then his forehead. You could feel his breath quicken and his hearts beat more rapidly.
When you looked back at him, he looked even sadder and broken than before. That was the opposite effect that you wanted. You kissed his nose one more time then nuzzled your nose against his then placed your forehead against his forehead. He closed his eyes, relishing in the physical contact. Physical contact that he had never received so passion-filled before.
âYou can read my mind if you want. If it will prove to you that I am genuine and that I do love you.â His eyes popped open when you said the word love.
âNo. I donât think I need to now.â You wouldn't have offered to have him rummage through your mind if you were lying.Â
You moved back, but The Master followed you. He brought his free hand up to cradle your face, occasionally his thumb would brush against your lips.
âCan I kiss you?â You nodded, smiling, and uttered a breathy âyes, Masterâ before The Master softly pulled the two of you back together. His lips were as soft as they looked as they danced with yours. You regrettably had to pull away to breathe, though, but you giggled when you saw The Master smiling at you.
âI like seeing a smile on your face. Especially when I know that I am the cause of it.â
âI could say the same thing to you, Master.â
âIs this why you were late? Creating a little scheme in order to get me to kiss you?â You giggled again at The Masterâs now proud and teasing attitude.
âWell, how else would I get you to kiss me?â
âYou little minx!â The Master smirked before attacking you with neck kisses. You began laughing again when The Masterâs attack caused you to fall backwards onto the sofa. The TARDIS made sure to lock the library doors and direct The Doctor and her companions away from the library that morning.

You walked the few lonely steps back to The TARDIS and stepped inside, the machineâs comfort immediately washed over you. That is until the smell of expensive perfume and nail polish hit your nose. Your head jolted up and you instantly caught sight of someone who was not supposed to be there.
âArenât you supposed to be in The Vault?âÂ
âArenât you supposed to be with the Doctor?â Missy immediately retorted, curt and cold in order to mask jealousy growing in her hearts. Her eyes flitted up from her nails to your face before eventually returning to decorate and perfect her nails.
âI thought you hated it when I paid more attention to the Doctor than I did you?â You hit the metaphorical nail on the metaphorical head with that question. You assumed to know how the Gallifreyian before you had felt, but your only âevidenceâ, if you could call it that, were glances thought to be unseen and âaccidentalâ touches that lasted a second longer than they should have.
Missy fell silent after that, caught both physically and emotionally, which Missy, most definitely, did not enjoy, and you could see it, too. The silence between the two of you carried on for just a bit too long. Each passing second compromised Missyâs resolve, her jealousy inching ever closer to being visibly written on their face.Â
âThe Doctor knows, donât they?â Missy laughed at that comment, thinking you to be a naive child, but Missy was also grateful that you offered a window for her to put on a new mask before the silence ate away at her old one.
âOf course, he doesnât know, Y/n! The Doctor is slower than he cares to admit, and he is growing even slower with age.â Missy whispered the last half of the statement with a hand raised to her mouth in an act mimicking schoolyard gossip.
âTrust me, The Doctor does not know.â She finished her statement triumphantly and matter-of-factly, her most commonly used facade restored. You huffed, hoping to discover something new about the Gallifreyan you travelled with. Now you were just bored. There would be no adventure with the Doctor today, it was too late to go running after him and you could feel the TARDIS urging you to stay. But you still wanted something interesting to happen, not a dry conversation with a teasing Time Lady.
âWhat are you planning on doing then, Missy?â You leaned against The TARDIS console nonchalantly.
âI was planning on going through The Doctorâs things, but now that you are here ⌠We could always go on our own adventure without that stuffy old fool!â
âBut what if The Doctor needs The TARDIS?â You questioned.
âYou know how this machine works. We can go have ten adventures back-to-back and return here long before The Doctor even notices that we disappeared!â You thought about what Missy was offering you for a moment. You could see the hopefulness laced in the corner of her eyes, but you tried to ignore her and just think about what you wanted for once.Â
âI guess we can go somewhere, then. But nothing too dangerous, Missy!â
âI would never dream of putting you in harm's way, my darling.â Missy quickly slithered from her seat and strutted over to where you stood. She quickly and dramatically typed the coordinates of where she wished to go onto The TARDIS console system. While the two of you waited for the ship to travel through the time vortex and arrive at your desired destination, Missy made you dance with her. She kept a hand firmly on your lower back; you could feel her pulling you closer to you every now and again. Missy then spun you around a couple of times before dipping you and leaning in incredibly close to your face. Suddenly, a bell from the console chimed.
âOh look! Weâre here!â Missy popped up to a standing position, bringing you with her. Missy went to open the TARDIS doors, but before she did that, she spun you around in a circle and left you dizzy by the console.
âWell come on, you silly sausage! We havenât got all day.â You rolled your eyes at the Time Ladyâs antics and dashed up to her. Missy flirtily held out her arm for you to take so she could guide you around the planet. You took it but ignored her attitude. You just wanted to have fun today, and not think about any ulterior motives the Gallifreyian might have. Missy then happily led you around the planet she took you to, showing you all of the most popular sights and more. It was a wonderful day.
But eventually, the trip had to end, so Missy piloted the two of you back to The Doctorâs location. Missy hid herself away and The Doctor, Bill, and Nardole were none the wiser of your impromptu trip with the supposed to be imprisoned Time Lady. Maybe Missy could offer you much more than The Doctor ever could.

------------------------------------------------------------
It was about mid-afternoon on the planet SEK-217, the two suns were mostly covered by a thick overcast, but it was still a lovely day for an adventure and a lovely day for a scheme. The Master clicked open his fob watch to check the time. It wasnât the same fob watch he was given by the leaders of Gallifrey, it was the one he had commissioned after he destroyed his home planet. He loved the look of them, but the wound of the Timeless Child was still fresh, and he didnât want to carry any memorabilia of the past on his person.
You were late. The Doctor must have kept you and her mindless troop of fans trapped in one of her rambles. She was always playing host. It made The Master sick. He wanted to be the one to teach you about the Universe; he wanted to show you everything.
You didnât know about The Masterâs want, however. You didnât even know that you were late for your appointment with him. You barely even knew who he was. You only heard vindictive whispers about him from Yaz and The Doctor.Â
The Master had infiltrated The Doctorâs TARDIS months ago, long before The Doctor had any sort of inkling that he had survived Gallifrey. He initially wanted to stalk The Doctor and figure out all of her companions' worst nightmares to use all of the information he gathered against them.
But The Master was distracted by you. He was surprised that you were still a companion. You were a fan of the more quiet adventures and all of the chaos of the recent adventures you went on were getting to you. The Doctor had tried to comfort you, but she was never able to fully calm you. The Master knew that he could take care of you better than she ever could.
The Master had grown fond of the idea of you and wanted to learn more about you. He would sometimes sneak little notes and comfort items to you, but unfortunately, you always thanked The Doctor or The TARDIS, never him. He wanted to make you see him and realise that he was the one helping you. He wanted you to know that he would always be the one to help you.
He initially had problems devising a plan to get you alone. Since you started feeling the stress of the adventures and travels with The Doctor, the more she felt the need to surround you at all times. The Master thought that his Best Enemy was overcompensating, mostly to keep you around instead of leaving her. You seemed to like the company, but you kept your mind hidden telepathically from her, and subsequently The Master. He assumed that the reason was that The Doctor was also trying to read your mind and you put up mental protections. The Masterâs hypothesis was practically confirmed when he felt The Doctorâs presence in Yazâs mind. She must have moved on to someone less likely to fight back against the telepathic pushes. The Master could still sense The Doctorâs obsession with you. She needed to learn her place.
The Master felt The Doctorâs guilt. She hadnât asked for consent and The Master found that to be weak of her. He was aware of the slight irony, but this whole process began as a villainous act, so consent wasnât crucial for him to obtain at the time. That would spoil his fun. However, even if you hadnât placed mental protections on your consciousness, The Master refused to look through your mind without you knowing. He had no moral objections to watching you but crawling through your most personal moments for his own pleasure, he would never do that unless you allowed him to. He wanted to learn about your truest self from you, not from snooping.Â
The Master eventually devised a plan to interact with you alone. He ended up enlisting the help of an old revenge partner. Wrez of the Kroakdeilians wanted to take revenge on the Allgars, a neighbouring kingdom to his kingdom. He had contacted The Master to help him. The Master helped because he too had a negative history with the Allgars. But Wrez tricked The Master, using his mind and equipment before turning on him. Now that Wrez had forced the people of Allgar and Kroakdeilia to follow his instruction, they protected him from being found by The Master.Â
However, Wrez was unaware of The Masterâs ability to easily hypnotise anyone. The Master quickly hypnotised an underling to deliver a message of friendship and alliance to Wrez. Of course, this was a lie to get the Kroakdeilian on The Masterâs side, but Wrez didnât need to know that.Â
All he needed to know was that he would pretend to attack you once you arrived at the designated spot, but The Master would show up and stop him. Then The Master and he would pretend to fight each other, and The Master would win the pretend fight. Â
Up atop one of the hills of SEK-217, The Master looked at his fob watch once again. You had to be close by now. The Doctor couldnât keep you forever. A bing sounded on his TCE, notifying him of your presence near the hill across from him where Wrez lay waiting. The Master sent a nod to his compatriot, who he would soon betray, to get ready.Â
You walked down the pathway, confused as to where Dan had gone. You knew that it wasnât safe to continue alone, but you had to finish the task The Doctor gave you.
You walked toward two large cliff sides where the pathway you were on cut between them. There was a large enclave that cut into one of the cliff sides and the other cliff side abruptly cut off to a sudden drop to the sea of the planet below.Â
Suddenly, a Kroakdeilian jumped down before you, causing you to stumble back toward the wall of the enclave. The Doctor said that the only creatures on the planet should be the indigenous species, and she said that none of them were dangerous; a Kroakdeilian should not be here.Â
The creature swung an arm out to you menacingly which you somehow dodged, but then it pushed you back onto the ground with its other clawed hand. The creature loomed toward you. It blocked out one of the planetâs suns, which peaked out behind a gloomy cloud, with its tall, hunched and spiked shoulders. Just as the creature was about to dig its clawed hand into your vulnerable torse when it was then pulled back by a random force. It then let out a terrible, pained scream as it was shrunk to the size of a doll.
âThank you! So much - Oh, itâs you.â You were happy to be saved but grimaced upon seeing The Master before you.
âNo, Iâm The Master, remember?â The Master chuckled as you groaned at his reference to his spy persona. You werenât in the mood for jokes after almost being killed.
âWhat are you doing here?â You got up and dusted off your pants to avoid looking at him. He looked better than ever. You always found him to be a very attractive person, but it was clear that he was much more confident now.Â
âJust a bit of business.â You tried to question him, but he wasnât forthcoming. He just kept smiling and looking at you, proud of himself for finally getting you alone and killing someone who betrayed him at the same time.
âFine. Donât answer any of my questions. Iâm going now. Bye.â
âWhat? I donât even get a thank you for saving your life?â You responded with a curt ânoâ and then began walking in the direction you thought you came from.
âWrong path there, love.â
âShut up!â You shouted back towards The Master, quickly recorrecting your path while The Master chuckled behind you.Â
You quickly walked up the path and answered some texts from Yaz, Dan and The Doctor. You explained that you didnât find what The Doctor wanted you to search for because you were attacked. They told you that they were headed your way to help you. You were going to text them that you were safe until you heard footsteps behind you. You turned around, fearful that the creature had returned somehow or wasnât alone on the planet, but you only saw The Master tripping over his feet while he toyed with his TCE and another device that looked like a Human mobile phone.
âWhat are you doing?â
âFollowing you. Were your eyes damaged in the incident? If you think that you are hurt, I can give you a good once over.â The Master winked at you after eyeing you up and down. You huffed and turned away to hide your flustered face.
âNo, Iâm fine, obviously. But why are you still following me?âÂ
âSo you donât get attacked by another monster, silly. Canât return you to The Doctor if you have been torn to shreds, can we now?â
âReturn me? Iâm not her property or pet or whatever you think our relationship is like.â
âI like the sound of that.â The Master smirked and eyed you up and down again.
âStop flirting with me.â
âWhy? You like it and you know it!â
âI do no -âÂ
âY/n!âÂ
âDoctor!â You spun away from The Master to see The Doctor and your friends running toward you. You heard The Master mutter something about cockblocking under his breath, causing you to roll your eyes. The Doctor shouted for the rest of her companions to get back behind her.
âWhat are you doing here, Master? Just give Y/n back unharmed and then we can talk.â
âAll I am doing is protecting them, Doctor. Iâm doing a better job than you ever could.â
The Doctor asked you what he was talking about, completely not believing a word he was saying. You explained how the creature attacked you while you were out searching for the place where The Doctor directed you and Dan before the two of you were separated. You continued to explain to her that The Master appeared and saved you from the creature, then followed you here to make sure you were safe. Your friends all erupted in a chorus of âwhatâs and âhow is that possibleâs and âwhy would he do thatâs and âheâs evilâs.Â
âIâm standing right here!â The Master exclaimed.
âYes, I can see that! But why are you here? Why did you save Y/n?â The Doctor continued to spew out questions, causing The Master to dramatically roll his eyes.
âYou know, make everyone aware of all of the work I do to make Y/n feel safe.â Your friend group erupted into another chorus of âwhatâs.
âNow run along. Go play with The Doctorâs other pets.â The Master gently pushed you toward The Doctor.
âWe arenât her pets!â Yaz and Dan screamed in unison.
âWell, Y/n isnât. But you two definitely are!â You shot The Master a vicious look because of his teasing, warning him to stop. He immediately stopped his berating comments and held his hands up in defence, but you knew he was only joking. The Doctor saw this and a million questions about the relationship budding between the two of you, but now, in front of him, was not the time for that. You were safe and the adventure was over because The Doctor and Yaz found whatever your alien host was looking for on their own. So, all of you could go back to the TARDIS and relax.
âWe will be leaving now, Master. As long as you donât have a little friend waiting in the wings to attack us. Might as well bring them out now, so both you and I can protect the people we care about.â The Master tilted his head up contemptuously at his old friend. He was shocked by her audaciousness and the fact that she always called him the supercilious one of the pair of them.
âYou have a wild imagination, Doctor, and a lot of gall to think that I would ever collaborate with you. I donât need you to help me. I can take care of Y/n by myself. Without looking through their mind, I might add.â The Master smirked when your head snapped to look at The Doctor, whose face began to turn a bit red. You tried to question her about The Masterâs statement, but she all but ran to her TARDIS demanding for everyone to follow her.Â
You sighed and began walking toward the ship. You glanced back at The Master, hoping that he might allude to something more, but he was fiddling with his TCE and the Human mobile phone again. You slumped forward continuing to follow your friends, more consumed by your thoughts than your surroundings. Then you felt a notification go off on your phone. You removed the item from your trousers pocket, shocked to see a text from The Master.
âIf you ever need me, for anything, just send me a quick text. I will always be ready to defend you.â
You turned back once again; you saw The Master smiling sweetly at you. You waved a goodbye, which he happily returned. Suddenly, he stopped, raising his hand in a matter-of-fact point before pulling out his TCE and his mobile phone once again.
âAlso, there is no need to worry about The Doctor. I put protections on your phone, so she wonât be able to track any of these communications. Just wanted to make sure that you knew that this was a safe space.â
You quickly texted back, âThank you, Master. And thank you for saving me today.â
âI will always do anything for you, and only you, my dear.â
âY/n, come on! The Doctor wants to leave as fast as possible.â Yaz poked her head outside of The TARDIS, which you were leaning against to causally text The Master. You shot one final glance at The Master before clambering into the time and spaceship.Â
The Master watched and waited until The Doctorâs TARDIS dematerialized fully before heading back to his ship. He smiled down at his TCE, seeing the three dots informing him that you were typing out another text to him. He knew and accepted the fact that he still had a long way to work forward until the two of you could be together, but he made many successful steps today. And he could guarantee one thing: he planted the seed in your mind to help you lose faith in The Doctor today. Now it was just a waiting game that The Master was prepared to win.Â
On the journey back to his time and spaceship, The Master whistled and skipped gleefully. All the while tossing the miniaturised corpse of Wrez the Kroakdeilian up into the air and promptly catching it in his hand. He really couldnât wait to see you again.

âWhat are you eating?â Missy questioned you as you entered the Vault.
âChocolate. Why?â You broke off a large chunk, chewing happily while dancing a little dance over to where Missy sat on her couch.
âWhat kind of chocolate?â Missy seemed intrigued and you couldnât really understand why. Once you swallowed the treat, you said that it was just a normal milk chocolate bar, but you had other flavours like dark and white chocolate, mint, caramel and sea salt. You were going to list even more flavours of chocolate you just bought from your trip to the store, but Missy interrupted, with a raised, tutting hand.
âNo, no, no, what planet?â You gave a questioning look causing the Time Lady to sigh dramatically and enunciate her explanation concededly, which made her Scottish accent more noticeable.Â
âYou know, what planet is the chocolate from? Gallifreyan chocolate, Adipose chocolate, Raxacoricofallapatorius chocolate?â You giggled at the idea of alien chocolate. The very common sweet had always seemed so Human to you.
âNo, it's just Human chocolate.âÂ
âOh, I've never tried Human chocolate.â
âWait really?â You were only slightly shocked. Missy had tried to take over Earth so many times that you thought that maybe she would have tried something Human before she destroyed the planet. However, she claimed to âhateâ Humanity and everything revolving around Earth, so you understood why she wouldnât want anything to do with Human chocolate.
âBefore you, Iâd never felt the need to interact with Human culture. Iâve always preferred Gallifreyan flavours or food from this one restaurant planet that I've been meaning to take you to. I swear that I will as soon as I get out of here. But is there any need for me to have Human chocolate? What if I hate it and become super cross with you? We wouldnât want that, now, would we?â Through her rambled excuse as to why she wouldnât want to try any of the sweets you had, Missy was unaware of you reaching forward with the open candy bar in your hand. Once she noticed, Missy only stared at you, dumbfounded.Â
âWhat? You actually want me to try Human chocolate? I love chocolate, but you want me to eat HUMAN chocolate?âÂ
âWell, before, it sounded like you really wanted to try it. But if you really donât want any, I guess that I will just have to eat it all by myself.â You broke another piece of chocolate off and plopped it into your mouth.
âNo!â Missy screamed at you, making you recoil in shock. She never let her composure dissolve because of emotion, but she quickly regained her normal casual yet flippant attitude.
âNo, Iâll gladly try it, but only to make sure that you donât get a stomachache from all of the sweets, dearie.â You smirked at her obvious lie and Missy plucking the chocolate from your hand. She broke off a decent chuck and dropped it into her mouth. She made a face that tried to convey that she didnât enjoy it, but you could tell she loved the sweet. Thankfully, she dropped the act quite quickly and began alternating between chewing and sucking on the chocolate in order to get the most flavour out of the chocolate.
Missy made, frankly, obscene noises when she continued to eat the piece of chocolate, making her face heat up slightly. She quickly broke off another piece, savouring the new taste. You asked if she liked it, part of you couldnât tell if she was just overacting in a condescending manner or if she legitimately enjoyed the sweet this much. Missy was so consumed by the food that she didnât even respond, she just nodded vehemently. She cleaned her mouth with her tongue, and then licked her fingers, making herself positive that she consumed all of the snacks before speaking.
âImagine how amazing this already fantastic dessert would become if I were to cover you in it a lick it all off.â You were unable to respond, too embarrassed by Missyâs brashness to form a proper thought other than the image the Time Lady conjured in your mind. However, before you could utter a scrap of a thought from your flustered mouth, the loud clanking of The Vault opening drew you from your thoughts.
âLick what off what, Missy?â The Doctor questioned, clambering into The Vault.Â
âYour blood from my heels if you donât stop interrupting me and my lovely during our private time.â You could help but become even more flustered and look away from the equally embarrassed Doctor, as Missy smirked proudly at both of your reactions. She was fully intent on incorporating any and every flavour of chocolate into any and every part of your and Missyâs lives. When you looked into her eyes, you could see her formulating plans, but for the moment, you tried to listen to what The Doctor was saying to prevent your body from betraying you, even more than it already was, in front of him. But it would be a lie to say that your mind never slipped into thinking about what Missy was going to do with her newfound love of chocolate.

You would sneak into the Vault quite often. It was a thrill to go against The Doctorâs orders. You usually didnât rebel against his orders out of fear of being accidentally hurt by some vengeful alien on the warpath. But venturing down into the Vault didnât seem to be that risky, despite what the Vaultâs inhabitant proclaimed on multiple occasions.Â
âDo you think he knows about this?â You asked aloud, wandering around the Vault and gathering what you needed for afternoon tea. Thinking about it, you wouldnât be surprised if The Doctor did know, he did seem quite perceptive, unlike Nardole, who claimed to be perceptive but was really the opposite.
âWould it matter if he did, dearie?â Missy spoke accusingly, with a hint of sadness that she tried hard to mask. She sat at the piano, trying to distract her quickening heartbeats with some soothing piano while you laid out a tea set with some snacks on a nearby table.Â
Your relationship with Missy was quite new and both of you had your own insecurities about it. You being Human put a strain on both of you and adding the fact that you were a friend and companion of The Doctor did not lessen any of those fears of fragility. Missy had tried to convince you to leave him. You would always counteract her suggestion with your fear that The Doctor might not allow you to see Missy ever again if you did what she asked.
âNot really, if he does know, he clearly does not mind me being down here, I just fear that he might blab to Nardole or Bill. Who, if you might have noticed, are not that fond of you. However, if he doesnât know, it would be hilarious to see his face when he finds out!â You turned around after finishing setting up the tea set and snacks and leaned against the table.
âWould you mind if he knew, Missy?â Your tone was quiet, but pointed, causing Missyâs fingers to stop and her head to turn to you abruptly, mouth slightly agape. She knew what you were referring to, even though you never explicitly said it, you often felt inadequate compared to her and The Doctor, being just a mere Human, and becoming aware of herâs and The Doctorâs lifelong friendship did not ease your feelings of inadequacy.
âDearie,â she stood and walked over to you, placing her hands on each side of your face, âof course I would not mind, quite the opposite, really.â She smirked devilishly, trying to fluster you, she loved seeing you embarrassed and flustered because of her words and actions.Â
âHow about we eat the delicious food you brought for us today, and then, later, I will prove to you how much I care about you. Does that sound okay?â You nodded and let Missy peck your lips quickly before she pulled out a chair for you to sit.Â
You chatted over tea, trivial things, eager to not openly voice your discomforts about being so young and naive compared to two practically immortal beings. Though, Missy seemed very eager to discuss it, hinting at it every chance she got, hoping to wear you down until you broke and confessed what was on your mind.
The conversation did end up wandering onto The Doctor as you finished your tea and snacks. Missy had been more open about her childhood than you expected, or, at least compared to how little The Doctor talked about his past. Missy led you to a small sofa, gripping your hands tightly as she spun you around the room until you both reached your destination. She was vibrant and animated when talking about how, while at The Academy, she single-handedly vanquished a rogue brigade of Daleks and noted that The Doctor would tell a different story. One where he was more involved in the triumph instead of quivering in the corner like a cold puppy in the rain.Â
Upon reaching the sofa, Missy laid you down onto it, and she quickly followed suit before you could get up and complain. She wrapped an arm around your torso to keep you from falling off the edge.
âMissy, this sofa is too small for us to lay like this.â You giggled at her antics.
âOh fine! I guess we will just have to adjust!â Before you could comment, she hooked her other arm underneath you and hoisted you up until you were laying on her chest.Â
âBetter?â Missy questioned, smirking again upon seeing your flustered expression.
âWell, I guess it is better than the former position we were in.â You conceded, awkwardly moving and craning your neck. You were completely unaware of where to lay your head. Missy noticed you growing even more flustered and embarrassed at the situation, her smirk growing ever so slightly. She drew her hand up and gently pushed your head down toward her chest, giving her permission for you to lay your head there. Your flustered state only intensified, but you tried to focus on her heartbeats to lull you into calmness.
After a long silence filled with only the two of your breathing and Missyâs heartbeats, Missy spoke, âY/n, I think we should talk about what has been bothering you.â Your breath hitched, you really didnât want to talk about this, you were afraid that if the two of you discussed this then your relationship would end faster than you wished. You eventually asked why it was necessary.
Missy began combing her fingers through your hair, scraping her nails against your scalp in a circular motion
âThe sooner we talk about this the sooner we can get through it together.â
âYou will laugh. Or think that I am just being a stupid Human.â Missy immediately placed her hands on either side of your head to manoeuvre you until you were looking in her eyes.
âI might laugh as a coping mechanism to deal with shock, but I would never call you a stupid Human. You are the exception of the Human race.â Missy placed a reassuring kiss on your forehead before manoeuvring your head back to her chest. You took a deep breath before voicing your fears about your relationship with Missy; the age difference, the species difference, how you wanted to ask how important you were to Missy as she was to you, and how you didnât want to be seen as an ignorant child because of how you little you knew compared to the Time Lady, how you didnât know how your relationship with her could possibly compare to her relationship with The Doctor.Â
Missy dealt with your fears, one by one, reassuring you of the hold you had on her hearts and how your only foolish mistake would be if you were to deny her love of you. If you were to deny that fact, Missy made it painfully clear that she would break out of the Vault, steal The Doctorâs TARDIS and destroy however many galaxies it took until you got the message. She made it clear that even though the two of you would have many things to work through, she wouldn't want to be with anyone else.
All of Missyâs declarations of love were accompanied by Missy massaging your head and your back. These soothing acts and the repetitive calming drumbeats of her hearts and her soft words of love soon lulled you into a sound sleep. So sound, in fact, that you did not wake when The Doctor entered the Vault. Stopping in his tracks, he closed the Vault door when he saw the sight of you enclosed in the arms of his oldest friend. Missy smirked and mouthed a silent âhush, theyâre sleepingâ to the shocked Time Lord. Then Missy placed another kiss on your forehead. She was already laughing in her head about getting to see your reaction, once you woke up, about finding out that The Doctor didnât know about you and Missy until he saw you sleeping in the Time Ladyâs chest. And laughing at your reaction to knowing that you didn't get to see his surprised face. Missy couldnât wait to see what the future had in store for the two of you.

------------------------------------------------------------
The Master had devised yet another attempt to destroy thousands of civilizations of alien species and gain control over innocent people for his own gain. He infiltrated an intergalactic community, killed the leader of a planet within that community and then pretended to be said leader. He then staged a meeting of the presidents and leaders of the Intergalactic Federation. There, he could unleash a barrage of bombs onto the leaders, killing them all. Once they were all killed, The Master could easily set himself up as the ruler of that group of galaxies. He would have his little kingdom in space to do whatever he wished with. Including finally getting you to leave The Doctor and devote yourself to him.
But, of course, The Doctor created another brilliant plan to stop her best enemyâs devious plans. She had heard rumours of the prime minister of Miyalo going virtually radio silent. The only communications from the prime minister of Miyalo were to the Intergalactic Federation. So, thatâs where The Doctor, her companions and you began to do some research. The Doctor ended up wishing that she had begun researching the rumours of the silent prime minister of Miyalo sooner rather than taking you and the rest of her companions to Space Paris for a quiet getaway.
The Master was already set up and prepared to kill thousands. A legion of ships were filled to the brim with bombs ready to drop on the Intergalactic Federation Base below. All explosive-carrying ships were being led by a flagship being piloted by The Master. Once over the base, he could press one button and unleash the bombs upon the base. The Doctor had to act quickly before The Master reached his destination on the planet.Â
The Doctor tracked her old friendâs presence to the control room of the ship. The Doctor and Yaz set out to the artillery room of the ship to deactivate the bombs and cause a malfunction to travel throughout the fleet of ships, so The Master would not be able to release them. The Doctor then sent Graham and Ryan to the base to try and force the leaders staying at the Intergalactic Federation Base to leave the planet. And finally, The Doctor sent you and Dan to talk to The Master and try and get him to stop all of this. It was a triple fail-safe plan, as The Doctor described.
You and Dan ran to the console room of the ship. You ran faster than your friend down the halls of the large ship, holding the interior floor plan of the ship, that The Doctor sent to your phone, in front of you. But when you turned around to see if Dan was running behind you, you saw that you were alone in the halls. You were about to run back to try and find Dan, but you distantly heard The Master shouting at a machine for not working fast enough. It was reckless to face off with him alone, but this wouldnât be the first time youâve done so. You knew that you needed to stop him in order to save all the individuals on the planet below. Youâd risk an argument with The Doctor if it meant that you helped save the lives of thousands. You ran toward the console room of the alien flagship, slowing down the closer you got to it.
You crept into the room and saw The Master pressing buttons and pulling levers with malice. You ghosted forward, not entirely sure how you were going to get through this situation by yourself. You were second-guessing yourself now that you were actually alone with the rebel Time Lord. Maybe he wouldnât be as willing to cooperate with you as he was like the last time.
âWell, well, well ⌠Look whoâs finally arrived.â The Master slowly turned to look at you, leaning against the edge of the shipâs console. You took a deep breath and pushed your fear down and ignore the Time Lordâs flirtatious undertones.
âStop all of this Master!â
âAnd why should I do that, love? Just because you asked me to? I donât think so.â The Master strutted toward you, highlighting his mocking and teasing tones with judging faces and looming gestures. He always inched forward and pointed his finger at you whenever he wanted to make an impression.
âThat worked last time, though.â This caught The Master off guard. He could sense your uneasy nature and did not expect you to be this confrontational with him. He did enjoy the banter, though.
âSo, The Doctor sent you to me as a distraction. So, she and her little pets can defeat me behind my back while you have my full attention. Itâs a good plan. You are an impeccable distraction, but you and your pesky friends wonât be able to stop my genius plans this lime, love.â
âJust stop this, Master. Please. You donât have to do this!â
âBut donât I? My previous plans failed, but now I actually have a chance to succeed without any consequences.â
âBut you would be killing your oldest friend and so many innocent people! That sounds like many consequences to me.â
âNone of them matter to me! Just you. And with you out of the way of the bombs and the artillery room, I can finally destroy my best enemy! And I get the opportunity to flirt with you uninterrupted and become an incredibly powerful leader of an intergalactic community in the process. Thatâs an all-around win in my book!â
âYou canât do this! This isnât worth it. You can flirt with me uninterrupted any time and not kill anyone!â You hoped that appealing to The Masterâs romantic side might help your case. Even though the Time Lord took a moment to consider your offer, he moved back toward the console of the ship and prepared the deploy button.
âTry me.â The Master hovered his hand over the deploy button dramatically. You hadnât received a message from The Doctor. You had no idea if she had done what she said that she would do. You knew that you would need to do something incredibly risky and vulnerable to distract and stop the threatening Time Lord before you. The Master moved to press the button.Â
âPlease, please, Iâll do anything!â You screamed out to him causing The Master to pause and fully consider the possibilities of what you were offering.
âAnything?â
âAnything you want.â The Master chuckled before staring you down and stalking back toward you. He loomed closer to you than ever before. You could feel the heat of his breath on your face and neck as he stalked around you in a circle. You felt like prey caught in a predatorâs sight. The only difference is that you, completely out of your mind, consented to be caught. You convinced yourself that this was a good idea. Once he was facing you again, The Master bumped his nose against yours and brought a hand up to caress your face. He smirked when he felt you flinch away from the surprisingly soft gesture,
âKneel.â The Master whispered against your lips. You sighed, you expected that The Master would act this way, but it still made you uncomfortable. You needed to save The Doctor, though. So, you kneeled before the renegade Time Lord. The Master stepped back to get a good look at you in this position. You clenched your jaw in distress when you saw the raw hunger in The Masterâs eyes; you had never been looked at so wantonly before.
âCall me by my name.â
âMaster.â You whispered. Your eyes fluttered around the room, hoping for any sign of The Doctor coming to save you.
âCanât hear you, love.â
âMaster.â You said more forcefully.
âOh! I love hearing you say my name! Say it again.â The Master jumped up and down clapping his hands rapidly before bending down to look in your eyes more closely as you said his name again.
âMaster.â The Master smiled more manically than you have ever seen. You felt so defeated and degraded, but you couldnât deny your immense curiosity for what The Master had in store for you. To your surprise, The Master, knelt down before you so the two of you were now level and equal.
âNow, my good little Human, you will be coming to live with me on my TARDIS.â
âWhat?â
âYou said that you would do anything, didnât you?â
âYes, I just wasnât expecting that request.âÂ
âNot a request. A demand, love. Now I suggest that you get up and follow me to my ship.â The Master jolted up to gain some control again. His tone darkened to a growl to highlight his point. He held out his hand for you to take when you didnât immediately stand to join him.
âAnd you will stop your plan to kill The Doctor and the people of the Intergalactic Federation?â The Master didnât respond. He only cocked his head to the side as a warning and held out his hand closer to you. Somehow his eyes grew even more intense, demanding and possessive. You took one more deep breath before softly placing your hand in his awaiting palm. The Master instantly clamped his hand around yours in an unyielding hold. He pulled you to your feet in a swift motion, causing you to fall into The Masterâs sturdy chest. The Master has a brazen smile etched deep into his face as he secured his other hand on the small of your back, keeping you firmly against his chest.
âYouâre mine now, love. Forever and always. Mine. And nothing could ever make me let you go.â The Master let go of his tight grip on your hand and surprisingly gently, compared to his previous movements, cupped your head and placed a delicate and meaningful kiss on your temple before manoeuvring your bodies into a hug. For some reason, you didnât feel the need this time to flinch away from his movements.
Just as The Doctor and her companions broke through all of the defence mechanisms The Master placed on the flagshipâs console room door, you and The Master teleported to his TARDIS. You never saw them. You never saw your friendsâ confused faces. You never saw the lost and defeated look on The Doctorâs face when she saw you wrapped up in The Masterâs arms. But The Master saw it all and he would cherish those images for the rest of his days. He relished in the fact that he finally stole you away from his best enemy. You were completely his now. And true to his word, he was never going to let you go. Even if you wanted him to. You agreed to anything after all.

There was a random knock on your door, jarring you away from your reading. You were too confused to act at first, you hadnât ordered anything online, and you hadnât even ordered takeout. There was no reason for there to be a knock at your door today. You found your bookmark, but not as fast as you would have hoped. The bookmark, having fallen and cocooned itself within the blanket strewn across your lap, made itself very hard to find. The knocking increased rapidly as you finally escaped your soft prison. You haphazardly placed the book on the nearby coffee table, which was riddled with random objects and dishware because of your lack of cleaning your apartment recently.Â
You stumbled to the door; legs sore from sitting for so long. You rifled a hand through your still slightly damp hair as you opened the door quickly, having grown annoyed by the knocking that seemed to grow in volume and in pace. Whoever was on the other side of your front door seemed to be in an impatient mood. Your eyes went wide with shock when the identity of the annoying knocking person was revealed.Â
âWhat are you doing here, Master?â Your tone was confused, and a bit angry, he had been unusually quiet for months, ceasing all calls and texts and especially visits. You assumed that he got into trouble with some alien government he tried to scam once in the past or he was aware of the current pandemic and just wanted to avoid the whole debacle, or, even more likely, both options simultaneously. No matter what his reasoning for not communicating for so long, it still stung for him to abandon you so abruptly and coldly.
âWhat?! Y/n, I thought that you would be happy to see me! Iâm sorry for not talking to you for a week,â your mouth fell open in shock, which he didnât notice due to his rambling and his dramatic hand movements, âbut Iâve been busy, scheming, planning, overthrowing planets ⌠did you change your hair âŚâ He finally noticed something, at least. He seemed unaware of the fact that his week of adventures had been four months of quarantine for you, but at least he noticed was something. You allowed him into your living room, hoping that he would close the door behind him as you picked up and organised some stacks of books, random discarded hoodies and old takeout menus that might become useful if The Master were to spend the night.
âOh, yeah, I might have had a breakdown a couple of weeks ago and just made an impulsive decision. Said decision being based on a couple of months of questioning if I would look good with a different hairstyleâŚ,â you looked at him in the middle of tidying up to see The Master now shocked. You imagined that your face and demeanour mirrored his current appearance when you opened the door, which might have explained his smirk then. The look of being verbally or situationally lost and left to pick up the pieces was funny to witness, and confusion and shock looked very cute on his face, making this situation bearable.
âDo you like it?!â You questioned to draw him out of his running mind.
The Master stuttered a bit, looking anywhere but your face, âY-yes, I like it. You look ⌠nice.â He stroked his eyebrow with his finger before helping you move some books from the coffee table, he still did not understand exactly what situation he left you in. With the general area around the coffee table and couch relatively clear, you offered him a seat while you went to go make some tea for the two of you.
He didnât take you up on that offer, however. He merely followed you into the kitchen silently, resolving to lean against the counter and stare at you as you worked. He was still confused, but his shock mellowed a bit. You were always a mystery to him. You were a strange little Human that made him feel things. Things that were meant to be an impossibility for him to feel. Now he had to work out the mystery of what had occurred in your life since he dropped you off at your flat. And given the fact that he was already agonising over the mystery of how you had so much power over him, he preferred not to overwork himself.
âHow long have I been gone, for you?â You looked at him in the middle of a journey to retrieve a jug of milk. His face was calm, but his eyes were large and sad, searching every part of your body, excruciatingly trying to find any differences in you or your personality other than your new haircut. He feared that you might have done more to yourself during your self-described breakdown.
âAlmost five months. You dropped me off right before the quarantine was enacted.â you handed him a purple mug you had bought for him, but he insisted that you keep it at your flat in case he threw it during one of his infamous fits of rage. He thanked you for the tea and acknowledged the time apart but questioned the quarantine. Five months wasnât awful by his standards, maybe to yours, but you were Human. He knew, however, how much trauma and tragedy can make a short time feel like forever and make a person desperate for the agony to be over.
âYou know, the covid-19 crisis. The crisis reaching pandemic levels that certain world leaders are trying to ignore until it goes away. You know ... that quarantine.â You tried to joke, both to cheer yourself up from the past five months of boredom and fear and as an attempt to get The Master to smile. He did not smile, unfortunately, he kept staring at you, eyes searching for any pain in your words and actions.
He placed his mug down on the kitchen counter, then softly removed your mug from your hands and placed it on the counter in order to join his own. He turned back to you, stepping closer, ghosting his fingers over your own. He was secretly asking your permission to hold your hands. Which you accepted, interlocking your fingers together.
âIâm sorry.â He spoke so softly that it alarmed you. He had only spoken with you this softly one moment before, after being trapped on Earth for 77 years. He brought your interlocked fingers up to his lips to kiss your knuckles.
âI did not mean to be away for so long. I wouldn't have even left you if I knew you would be forced to be on Earth alone. Especially for nearly five months!â You removed his hand from yours, his eyes shone with hurt at the loss of contact until he realised that you were trying to readjust the two of you into a hug. The Master clung to you, resting his head in the crook of your neck. He would occasionally kiss and nip at your soft skin, but go back to breathing in your scent, grounding himself in your comforting presence. He hated being alone without you. You hated being alone without him. Neither of you spoke about this, but you both knew of the other's feelings.Â
âYou would tell me if you were hurting right?â He hugged you slightly tighter, causing the buttons of his waistcoat to dig into your stomach.
âOf course, why?â He could tell that you werenât lying, and he smiled at your loyalty but brought himself back to what you had mentioned.
âYou said that you had a breakdown.â
âWell, I did message you. You didnât answer, but I guess that has to do with a weird time thing.â He shook his head in disbelief at your Human memory.
âYes, weird time thing, thank you for using the technical term I taught you. My phone will adjust to the correct time, eventually.â As soon as he said that, almost like magic, his phone went off with a series of dings and vibrations.
âWhy isnât it automatic? Like when you go to a different time zone?â The Master looked you in the eye, and you knew what he was going to say.
âWeird time thing.â The two of you simultaneously spoke. The Master began to scroll through the barrage of old messages that finally appeared, growing more and more disgruntled and worried with each new message. His forehead creased and his brows furrowed, his mouth was set in a permanent frown. Upon reading one message, he drew his lip into his mouth and bit it anxiously, something you had never seen him do. Maybe it was a habit he picked up from watching you do it so many times. But he quickly returned to his seriously stern expression when he realised you were watching him.Â
You were tired of this, and you didnât want to see his reactions to the voicemails you left him, which were even more anxiety-ridden and depressed in nature. You tore the phone from his grip and pocketed it. Before he could complain, you enveloped him in another hug.
âIâm fine now, Master. Youâre here. Please stop worrying about me.â He reciprocated the hug, cradling your head in his shaking, worry-caused, hand.
âI will never stop worrying about you -â You cut him off, guessing what he was going to say.
âYes, because I am a pathetic little Human. I'm from too fragile of a species to actually take care of myself properly. Blah. Blah. Blah. I heard this speech five months ago!â You chuckled into his neck, which he loved the feeling of, but he corrected you.
âActually, I was going to say that I will never stop worrying about you because I care about you.â You tried to look at his face, but The Masterâs tight grip on you kept you pressed against him.Â
The two of you never talked about your feelings toward each other, but both of you knew that feelings were present. You would both hold each other for long periods of time, like this one. You would kiss each other on the cheek, forehead, hands, neck, basically anywhere except for each otherâs mouths because that might have been too intimate in the past. The two of you would even jokingly call out to each other with the moniker âmy loving spouseâ. The two of you would also occasionally say that you loved each other, but always in tones of jest to try and mask the truth and weight of the words. Maybe the wall you both put up was finally breaking down.
Out of nowhere, The Master shot backwards from the hug, placing his hands on your forearms to keep you in place, as he cracked a cheeky smile.
âIdea! Do you want to get off of this miserable planet and go on an adventure?â You breathed a sigh of relief, desperate to do something off of the planet Earth and to get out of the emotional state that you have been in recently.
âAbsolutely! An adventure anywhere sounds fantastic!â His smile grew even wider at your response. He rolled his shoulders back in confidence, grabbing you by the neck and giving you a kiss on the forehead before running to your door and, subsequently, his TARDIS, pulling you in tow. He bounded inside, leaving you to close the door of the TARDIS, as you had left him in a similar state earlier. However, The Masterâs excited attitude crumbled as a loud beeping began emitting from the console.
âWhat is that noise?â You questioned by his side, trying to understand the Gallifreyian writing flashing on the console screen.
âItâs an alarm.â He grumbled, he leaned his hands on the console, his head falling down between his shoulders.
âYeah, I can see that, but what's alarming you about what? Whatâs wrong?â
âOh nothing,â he said sarcastically, raising his head and talking with his hands dramatically, âJust an alarm informing us that no individuals can leave the planet Earth or this period in time for the foreseeable future until the virus dies down!â He walked over and slumped down onto a nearby sofa, his head falling in his hands. You walked over to sit beside him, wrapping an arm around his back to massage his shoulders and leaning your head against his.
âI know how much you hate Earth, Master, especially being stuck on it, but at least you wonât be alone. You have me this time.â He looked up at you, eyes holding back tears. He really didnât want to have to do this all over again.
âI love you, Y/N.â This was his way of thanking you for being beside him when no one has ever done that before, and also his promise to not leave you alone like he just accidentally had. It might have been accidental, but he still felt guilty. A tear fell from his beautiful and inviting eyes. You reached up to wipe it away.
âI love you, too, Master.â This was you making the same promise to stay by his side and the same declaration of appreciation for his willingness to stay with you. You took the opportunity of this soft moment to place an impulsive kiss on his lips like you always wanted to. It was just a peck, though, but The Master deepened the kiss in a fervour. He passionately held your face in his hands and caressed your cheekbones with all of the pent of love for you he has trying to suppress since he met you. The two of you broke apart, eventually, both breathless with bruised lips.Â
You and The Master ended up holding each other until you both fell asleep, there on the TARDIS console room sofa, blissfully unprepared for what your future would throw at you but determined that the two of you would make it through. As long as you each had each other, you and The Master would make it out together. No matter what.

The TCE began malfunctioning one day after you and The Master came back from a relatively tame adventure. He couldnât understand why a machine he meticulously build would be acting up like this. The Master always prided himself on being an excellent engineer and having taken good care of his technology, unlike The Doctor who always seemed to be breaking something. The Master was very upset and confused by the slight malfunction, but you drew him away from his turning mind as you led him back to your bedroom for the night.Â
After you were deeply asleep, The Master awoke in the middle of the night, unable to draw his mind fully away from his Tissue Compression Eliminator. He thought that he could tinker with it for a bit, and then it would be back to normal. His luck was not with him today, but he hoped that he could manufacture some.
The Master crawled out of bed, careful to not wake you because of his restless mind. He quietly padded from your shared bedroom to his office, just outside the TARDIS console room, with his TCE and tools in hand.
You woke up cold and alone, but you were tucked up into your blankets with care. The Master did this often, sneaking off in the middle of the night to deal with his never-quiet mind, but he would always tuck you back into the blankets snuggly. He would teasingly say that he couldnât have âhis little Human getting a coldâ, but it was clear that this was just his way of showing that he cared for you.
Despite what The Master would have wanted, you removed yourself from your cocoon of blankets and trudged to The Masterâs office, where you knew he would be. You knocked on the door, but he didnât answer. He was too busy going over mathematics, calculations and bits of engineering info in his head.Â
You quietly turned the doorknob and stepped into his office. The Master still didnât notice you, so you prepared to speak out to him. Before you could make a sound, the TCE accidentally went off due to The Master fiddling with its interior wiring.Â
Being hit by the TCE ray surprisingly didnât hurt, but it was uncomfortable. You felt small, now looking up at your now large surroundings and you felt much more solid than before. You also felt a bit nauseous and like you had a really bad strain in your neck. Though you couldnât move more than a couple of millimetres, so there was nothing you could do about the discomfort in your stomach or neck. You wondered what this meant for you. Would you stay like this forever? Could The Master change you back? Would he even try, or would he just throw you away?Â
Your worried mind stopped turning when you saw The Master. He ran up to you and stared at you for a moment before picking you up in calloused hands. His eyes were sad but filled with confused happiness about the fact that you didnât die.
âCan you hear me? Can you move? Blink twice if you can hear me.â His voice was frantic, and his eyes were wide with shock, but you managed to blink twice, causing The Master to breathe a sigh of relief. You tried to move again, and it was actually easier to move now. There was still a major restriction on your movement, but you could now speak, unlike before.Â
âIâm going to correct this, okay? I am not going to leave like this, my love.â He caressed a now giant thumb against your plastic face, wiping away a tear that somehow fell from your eye.
âI believe you, but what are we going to do until then? Iâm scared about what is going to happen to me, Master!â
âI know, my love, but you will be safe with me.â
The Master placed you, gently, in the breast pocket of his jacket, as it was bigger on the inside and safe for you to be there, while he began to plan out a way to correct this. He already had plenty of ideas on how to do such a thing, but he figured that he might wait a bit.Â
He knew that he would change you back eventually, but he loved your dependence on him. Now that you were doll-like, you were fully dependent upon him. So, he might keep you in this state for a bit longer than necessary. You would never know, of course, so there would be no harm done if indulged in being in control. It would just be you and The Master doing everything for you and him keeping you with him at all times.
Summary - The Master grows tired of having to hide your relationship from The Doctor. Maybe, with some convincing, she can wait a little longer.
Prompt Used - #50. A kiss, followed by more that trail down the jaw and neck.

You made a big mistake. A huge, massive, devastating mistake with unknowable consequences. But now you would have to deal with whatever the Universe, and The Master, had to offer you.Â
You and The Doctor had been out on a pleasant trip to a mysterious abandoned castle on a planet a couple of galaxies left of The Milky Way. Apparently, the castle had a renowned and substantial historical significance on the planet and The Doctor wanted to see it in order to check it off his bucket list. Both of you were having a fun time, but then The Master showed up.
In previous circumstances, you would have been overjoyed to have seen The Master. You had been harbouring a massive crush on The Time Lady for a while before the two of you eventually got together. You and The Master had been seeing each other for a couple of months now, and usually, she would avoid The Doctor to placate your fears of your relationship being exposed. But there were always the days, like today apparently, where The Master would become horribly upset by the fact that you and she couldnât be as public as she wished and attack The Doctor. You always played the oblivious part, but her flirty and suggestive comments always made it difficult for you to hide your feelings and your relationship. The Master, though, always adored how flustered you would become. She also loved seeing the cogs and gears of The Doctorâs tiny mind turn. She wanted him to know so she could gloat, but he was too stupid to actually figure out the obvious evidence right under his nose.
In the past, you would be able to play the mediator and defuse that situation, causing The Master to leave without destroying anything, surprisingly. Or The Master would separate you from The Doctor and you could placate her feelings until she was calmer. Usually, she would just end up kidnapping, so she wouldnât have to wait any longer to see you. This was always fun. You loved knowing that The Master needed you as badly as you needed her.
Today, though, you messed up. The Master taunted The Doctor, as usual, but then she brought you into it. The Master âjokedâ and suggested that you and she had a connection. The Doctor denied this, as was routine. The Master cut off her old friendâs rambling and asked you what you thought of the situation.Â
You and The Master had a deal. You would travel with The Master behind The Doctorâs back, along with dating her. And she would try her hardest to not kill The Doctor along with keeping your relationship a secret. You didnât know that The Master wanted to change your deal, so you kept up with your previous agreement. You stated that you had nothing to do with The Master and that there was no connection between the two of you.
And thatâs how you ended up in a separate part of the castle, alone and vulnerable with an angry Master. She had set up traps throughout the castle, and depending on your answer, The Master would either capture The Doctor and gloat about your relationship or would separate the two of you and interrogate you.
You stumbled back, almost tripping over an unevenly laid brick. The Master stalked toward you and unsheathed a decorative knife from a pocket somewhere in her coat. The Master shoved you up against the wall of the room. You expected her to attack you with her dagger in some way, but all she did was graze the width of the blade down your cheek, all the while looming closer to your face. Her eyes darted between your fear-ridden eyes, the blade on your cheek, and your lips. You tried to move away from the blade, causing The Master to tut in your face and smirk at your adorably vulnerable actions.
She used her leather gloved hand to recenter your face. She stepped closer to you and aligned your feet to where the toes of your shoes touched. You looked down to where you were connected; it was a surprisingly intimate moment considering everything else going on right now. The Master seamlessly hooked the dagger under your jaw, using it to force you to look her in the eye. You still tried to struggle away from her again, so she gripped your jaw with her hand and stroked her dagger softly up and down your neck. The Master stared into your eyes, a snarl forming on her face. Now you were starting to doubt that this was just foreplay. Was she actually going to hurt you?
âLet me go.âÂ
âAnd why should I do that, darling.â The Master cocked her head to the side and smirked, but you knew her long enough to know that she was seething under her beautiful nonchalant facade.
âYou said that you loved me. Why would you want to hurt me?â
âI do, but then you had to go and tell The Doctor that we were nothing.â The Master bumped her nose against yours. She tried to be intimating and get in your face in order to rile you up, but really, she just needed some skin-to-skin contact from you.
âI thought we had a deal.â
âIâm tired of that, now, Y/n. I want everyone to know that you are mine, especially him.â You were going to respond, but The Master dropped her dagger and smashed her lips into yours. You wanted to push her off of you to try and resolve the issue between the two of you verbally, but you couldnât help but relish in the softness of her lips and the distant taste of expensive alien whiskey on her tongue.Â
The Master adjusted the two of you, her leg jutting between yours and putting just the right amount of pressure on your crouch. You moaned into her mouth and felt her smile before pulling away to look at your face.Â
âYou look so beautiful covered in my lipstick.â Your eyes widened at this realisation. You were hoping to get out of this situation without The Doctor discovering your secret, either from The Master changing her mind naturally or by you convincing her. But there was no way you could get The Masterâs blood red lipstick stains off of you.Â
The Master smirked when she saw understanding reach your eyes. You knew her plan and there was no way to stop it. You tried to escape The Masterâs grasp, but she threw you against the wall again and trapped you in another bruising kiss. She broke away to peck your lips a couple of times. She kissed the side of your mouth. Then your cheek. She then created a path from your jaw to your ear before biting your earlobe and then travelling down to your neck. There she gave you a mix of wet, open-mouthed kisses, hard bites, and pressured pecks, all to mark up your neck with either lipstick or aggravated marks. You were weak in her arms, trapped comfortably beneath her lips.
âWhat do you think he will think when he sees you like this? Do you think that he will feel betrayed, jealous, or turned on?â You rolled your eyes at The Masterâs comment. You gained some clarity back in your mind.
âPlease, just kidnap me, Master. We can tell The Doctor later, in a more reasonable way. Please, for me.â
âYou are no fun, Y/n. Why canât we just break his hearts in two?!â
âFirst of all, I am fun. Youâve said that many times in many situations, most of them in the bedroom. Secondly, heâs my friend and he was yours. I donât want to hurt him and sometimes I donât think you want to hurt him, either. And thinking rationally, we would most likely be able to stay together longer if we go about this situation tactfully. If we are rash about this, The Doctor will probably think that you hypnotised me and will do anything to get me back.â
âUgh, fine. I guess you are right. But can I make your kidnapping a whole big extravagant affair?â
âOf course, you can, Master.â
The Master smirked, excited about the plan forming in her brain. She pulled you into one last brutal kiss before retrieving her dagger and dragging you to her TARDIS. Sometimes she just acted like a big kid who just found the hidden stash of candy; you loved seeing her this ecstatic! The Master piloted her ship to a wasteland junkyard in space, someplace The Doctor would never think to look, before rushing back over to you.Â
The two of you didnât even make it to the bedroom after landing, resulting in the two of you making do on a nearby sofa. After the two of you were thoroughly spent, You and The Master took a long relaxing bath, where The Master spent much of the time helping you remove the lipstick stains she placed on your body. Then the kidnapping coverup could commence. Maybe even a plan to reveal your relationship to The Doctor would unravel itself, as well.

You walked out of the library, a new book on your current hyper fixation in hand. Suddenly, two hands tightly grabbed your hips and pulled you into a darkened hallway. The hands turned you and moved you gently up against the nearest wall. A series of deep kisses were then littered against your neck as The Master pressed his body into yours.
This was new to you, feeling so much attention from him, but you never wanted it to stop. Beginning to date The Master, Rebel Time Lord and warrior in the Last Great Time War, was not what you expected to happen after The Doctor forced The Master to live in her TARDIS. It was a pleasant surprise, but a surprise, nonetheless. All you hoped was for The Doctor and The Fam to respect your choices because you were happy with The Master, and you knew that he was happy with you.
âMaster âŚâ
âYes, love. Say my name.â The Masterâs kisses became wetter and more frantic as he moved his way up your neck to your jaw. He moved his hand up to cradle your face and pull you further into his embrace. You gasped as The Master pulled your bottom lip down with his thumb while he sucked a mark just below your jaw.
âWe canât do this here.â The Master hummed into your neck, trying to keep himself from chuckling at your anxiety. It was probably warranted, but The Master couldnât resist you.
âWhy not?â The Master bit your earlobe, causing you to moan.
âSomeone could walk in on us.â
âNo one is going to walk in on us, Y/n.â The Master peppered your face with kisses in an attempt to calm you down.
âBut what if someone does walk in on us? Weâre in a hallway.â
âI hacked the TARDIS layout, so my room was close and I darkened the lights to give us some atmospheric ambience. Weâll be fine.â
âBut - â The Master pulled back to look at you properly, but he kept his hands firmly on your waist. The Master liked to have fun and absolutely adored teasing you, but consent was very important to him. He never wanted to make you uncomfortable. He only wanted to give you pleasure.
âIf you are really uncomfortable, we can stop and go to either of our rooms. You did say that you wanted to experiment a bit. I just want to make you happy and keep you satisfied.â
âI know, but are you ready for The Doctor or The Fam to find out about us? Especially in such an ⌠exposed ⌠way.â You looked away, a bit nervous at the thought of someone walking in on you and The Master. The Masterâs fingers curled beneath your chin and made you look him in the eye.
âIâve been wanting them to know that you belong to me for a while now.â The Master smirked and winked at you, knowing that that always drove you crazy.
âMaster âŚâ
âDo you want to stay or go?â
âI think we can take the risk.â The Master smirked before crashing his lips into yours, causing your body to be fully pressed between the TARDIS wall and The Masterâs torso. The Master held your face in between his hands, not allowing you to pull away from his demanding kisses. The Master was always so magnetic, but when he was doing everything that made you weak, there was no way to resist his charm. You couldnât help but grind your hips, looking for some sort of relief. The Master quickly noticed this and placed his knee in between your legs and moved one hand back to your hip to guide your actions.
The Master moved his other hand from your cheek to your neck, putting pressure on your neck but not fully choking you. You snaked your hand down his torso to his pants. You could feel him smirking against your lips as you unbuttoned and unzipped his trousers. You pulled back to ask if you could continue and The Master eagerly consented. The Master gripped your head with both of his hands again and pulled you back into a fierce kiss as you moved your hand into his trousers to massage his hardening cock through his underwear.
------------------------------------------------------------
A swirling alarm began blaring on the TARDIS console, causing The Doctor to freeze mid-monologue.
âWhatâs that alarm for, Doc?â Graham asked innocently, worried about the sickened expression that crossed The Doctorâs face.
âItâs ⌠uh ⌠nothing! Iâll be right back.â The Doctor ran around out of the console room as quickly as possible, ignoring the worried questions from The Fam. She fumbled through the halls of her TARDIS, trying to find the device she had created that had fallen deep in her bigger on the inside pocket. The Doctor assumed that you and The Master were seeing each other, and she wasnât exactly excited about that. So, the Doctor created a little machine that would notify her if the two of you were getting too close for her comfort, and pop popcorn. For some reason, she felt the need to add a popcorn function to the little device, just in case.
The Doctor ran a bit faster when the little device pinged yet again. A bright red button was flashing on the screen. If the button turned purple, it would be too late for The Doctor to stop you. Code purple, The Doctor had called it, was definitely something that The Doctor did not want to see. Thankfully, The Doctor rounded the corner and found you and The Master before Code Purple was reached.
âY/n!â The Doctor called your name, hoping that it would cause you and The Master to separate. You screamed upon hearing The Doctor yell your name and hid your face in The Masterâs chest. The Master only growled in annoyance due to the interruption.
âWhat do you two think you are doing?!â
âWell, we were having just a bit of fun, Doctor.â The Master tried to get you to look back up at him to see if you were okay, but you continued to hide your warm face in The Masterâs torso.
âThis is completely unacceptable!â
âLike you donât do this with Yaz, mom.â The Master sarcastically retorted, finally managing to get you to look at him. He caressed the apple of your cheek and booped your nose with his, basically ignoring The Doctorâs nervous monologues.
âHow! How dare you?!â The Doctor tried to look anywhere but where the two of you were still holding onto each other. Unfortunately, she noticed where your hand was located during the entirety of this conversation.Â
âY/n, get your hand out of The Masterâs pants!â

The Master stirred; he felt colder for some reason. Usually, when in bed, he was incredibly warm because you were always cuddled up against him. Time Lords could regulate their body temperature, but whenever you and The Master would sleep in the same bed together or on the couch, he would always relish in how constantly warm you felt. It now felt as if you werenât in bed with him, though. The bed was so cold. You must have turned away from him on your shared bed.Â
The Master stretched his arm out across the bed to pull you back against him, but when he did so, he felt nothing. With his eyes still closed and him still half asleep, The Master patted the bed where you should be. The last bits of the dream he was having slipped from his mind and clarity took over him; The Master jolted up from the bed. His hearts started beating faster when he realised that you were no longer in bed with him. The Master was completely alone.Â
He jolted out of bed and quickly got dressed in the closest clothes he could find lying around. It would be better to wear day old clothes than searching for you in his underwear. The Masterâs mind was racing. He was thinking of all the places you could have gone, but his mind obviously went to the worst places in his anxious, sleep altered mind.Â
You couldnât have been kidnapped from within his TARDIS. The Master had placed backups upon backups of protections long ago, just to keep you safe. Besides, no person of any species would have the guts to break into The Masterâs TARDIS. So, thatâs not the reason why you werenât in bed with him.
The Master had been teaching you how to fly the TARDIS. You had been begging him to teach you for months. Was this just a part of a long form plan of escape? Have you really left him? Would you do that to him? You probably went back to Earth, or to The Doctor. Either way, he would get you back. You werenât allowed to leave him.
The Master barreled down the twisting hallways of his TARDIS toward the console room. He abruptly stopped, however, when he saw you slowly walking down the hall, bobbling around a bit because of your tiredness and the fact that you were scrolling through your phone.
âY/n? Youâre still here?â The Master ran up to you and was about to grab you by your shoulders until he saw you yawn and rub your eye sleepily.
âYeah, I just forgot my hoodie in the library, and I was cold.â
âI thought you left me.â The Master gently brushed an eyelash off of your cheek, but mainly used that as an excuse to touch you.
âI was hoping to get back in bed before you woke up, Iâm sorry, Master.â You leaned into The Masterâs palm, completely misunderstanding what he had just implied.
âNo, I thought you left me, Y/n.â You looked up at The Master, confused, still not understanding. You studied his face, trying to understand even though you were incredibly tired. Finally, it clicked.
âKoschei, why would I leave you? I would never want to leave you.â The Master almost let the tears he was holding back fall, but he decided to lunge forward and trap you in a bone crushing hug that knocked the wind out of your lungs. You patted The Masterâs back reassuringly and whispered comforting words into his ear.
âLetâs go back to bed, yeah?â You felt The Master nod his head at your suggestion. Even though he agreed with your idea, it still took a while to pry him off of you. When you finally did, The Master still clung to your arm. In his adrenaline filled rage and surprise of your absence, he forgot how tired he truly was. Now it was hitting him all at once and all The Master wanted to do was hold you and sleep the night away.
The Master crawled into your shared bed first, and made grabby hands toward you, requiring your presence immediately. You giggled at his actions. You always loved seeing his softer side that he reserved only for you to see. You crawled into bed and straddled his lap before laying down on his chest. The Master quickly brought his arms to encircle you and keep you tightly against him.
After a couple moments of silence, The Master spoke, âI love you. You know that, right.â
âOf course, I know that. I love you, too, Koschei. So much!â You kissed The Masterâs chest, over his hearts, and snuggled back against him. You fell asleep quickly in the safety of your loverâs arms. The Master waited until you were fully asleep before he too succumbed to sleep. Once the two of you were fully and deeply asleep, both you and The Master had peaceful dreams of your life together and your love for each other.

The Master had been living aboard the Doctorâs TARDIS for a couple of weeks now, and everyone hated this new living situation. Except The Master, who seemed to be having a tremendous amount of fun tormenting everyone on board. The Doctor insisted that The Master needed to be watched; that the only way for her to properly make sure that The Master didnât continue down his destructive path was to have him live with her, you and the rest of The Fam.
Despite being the main organiser of the situation, The Doctor didnât seem happy. You got the feeling that she did not expect to feel cramped in her own home, but she seemed hopeful that this might be the moment where she could get her old friend back. You also werenât the only uncomfortable companion of The Doctorâs, the rest of The Fam werenât happy either, especially because The Master did try to kill them, multiple times. However, the reason why you were uncomfortable with The Masterâs presence was different from the Famâs.
The Master always watched you. As O, you thought that it was a bit flattering; all of the lingering glances and the soft touches the two of you had shared when no one was noticing. Since revealing himself as the rogue Time Lord, his gazes became more menacing and predatory. He always seemed to be in the same room as you, lurking in the corner, his eyes staring holes into your back. You knew that The Doctor wished for you and The Fam to be kind and welcoming despite everything, but sometimes you could not control your anger. Today was one of those days.
âHow is my little Human today?â The Master questioned, his tone was teasing, as he came up behind you while you were making a cup of tea. He knew how much you hated his condescending attitude, especially toward Humans, which only made him more determined to rile you up.
âDonât start with me.â Your speech was venomous. This shocked The Master, but he hid it well.
âAwww is my little human upset?â He cooed at you, miming sadness on his face and getting uncomfortably close to you.
âI said, donât start with me, if you are so incapable of hearing! Donât talk to me, donât look at me, donât even breathe near me. Just leave me alone!â You rushed past The Master, checking his shoulder, causing him to stumble backward slightly. He stood shocked into stupidity by your behaviour and the fact that you somehow managed to not spill your tea. The Master did not understand what was going on in his brain. He wondered if he was malfunctioning.
âYou okay there, Master?â The Doctor teased as she popped her head into the kitchen. She heard everything and gleefully prepared to tease her old friend about his budding feelings for you.
âOf course, Iâm okay.â He wasnât. It was a blatant lie, that once spoken, he knew The Doctor could see through.
Two main thoughts emerged in The Masterâs after his interaction with you. One: he hated how attractive you looked when ordering him around. Two: he hated how visibly upset you were, and how he was the cause. That was the opposite reaction he wished you would give when seeing him, despite how fun it was to joke with you. Perhaps you did not see his japes as fun or flirty.
âGood job with Y/N.â The Doctor knew of the mutual crushes budding between the two of you. She saw it happening a few weeks ago when The Master kept touching and playing with the hem of your shirt while she was rambling about her newest plan for an adventure. You had asked him to stop, but he kept doing it because he said that it calmed him down. The Doctor might have been a bit dense when it came to understanding how people felt about her, but she was quick to pick up on the energies of situations she wasnât a part of.
âShut up.â The Master retorted, half heartedly, still more concerned with your mood rather than his ego.
âMaybe tone down the teasing when Y/n is visibly upset next time, yeah?â The Master grumbled, knowing she was right. âOh, and maybe consider apologising. I know that thatâs not typical Master behaviour, but I think you should make an exception for âyour little Humanâ.â The Doctor snickered as she saw The Masterâs face turn into a scowl. She quickly left with a box of custard creams in her hand before the Master could throw any kitchen utensils at her head.
The Master sighed defeatedly, knowing that his old friend was right and that he should apologise. He questioned if he should do that now. You did sound incredibly upset, but he didnât want this situation to grow and get worse. So The Master made his way to your room, after stealing some of your favourite snacks from the kitchen before he left.
Upon arriving at the door to your bedroom, The Master knocked on your door softly. He didnât want to startle you and cause you to be even more upset with him. However, you didnât respond. The Master was going to knock again, but The TARDIS opened your door for him. The Master thanked the ship and slowly creaked the door open until he heard you growl at him.
âI thought I told you to leave me alone.â
âWhatâs wrong, Y/n?â The Master blocked the light from The TARDIS hallway with his body, but refused to fully enter your room without your permission. The Masterâs back straightened out of regret when he thought he heard you crying, but he tried to remain composed because he didnât have all of the details yet.
âYou donât really care, so you might as well leave.â The Master heard your voice cracking, confirming his fears that you were in fact crying.
âY/n, Iâm sorry about earlier and for all my teasing before -â You cut The Master off before he could finish his apology.
âI have the worst migraine Iâve ever had in my life.â The Master responded with a soft, âoh,â having been on the receiving end of many headaches throughout his regenerations.
âHow bad is it?â
âI can feel my heartbeat radiating through my skull.â
âCan I touch you?â
âWhat?â Even in your pain filled state you noticed how awkwardly he worded that question. The Master grimised, too, upset that his emotions were making him flustered.
âCan I massage your head? It might help your headache.â You agreed and heard the Time Lord enter your room and close your door behind him. You heard him place some things down then rummaged around your desk a bit, then you felt his hand brush against your arm, notifying you of his presence. You sat up briefly, allowing him to sit behind you on your bed. You let The Master reposition you until your head was resting on his thighs.
âIs this okay?â The Masterâs voice was softer than you heard before, he almost sounded like O. You nodded. The Master brought one of his hands up to cradle the back of your head and the other caressed your forehead. He eventually moved both of his hands to your temples causing some relief to flow through your skull.
The Master continued to massage your temples, digging slightly rougher into the flesh. Whatever he did, it calmed the pain, but you could easily see him using this technique, albeit more forcefully, on an enemy he was about to execute with his bare hands. You heard him chuckle, causing you eyes to pop open.
âYou heard that thought, didnât you?â
âGiven that itâs telepathy, I technically didnât hear it.â The Master bluntly stated. You rolled your eyes at the technicality, but asked in your head if he killed people like that. He nodded sadly.
You thought, âHave you ever thought of killing me like that?â
The Master shook his head and projected his thoughts into your head, âI havenât thought about killing you at all. In fact, I've planned schemes around trying to protect you.â You smiled at him, but winced when your headache spiked. The Master winced sympathetically seeing you in pain.
âI can calm you, telepathically, if you want.â
âYou arenât going to hypnotise me or look through my memories or thoughts, are you?â
âNo. I wouldnât do that to you. Also, that would probably make your head hurt more, so that wouldnât be beneficial. It will basically be the same thing as listening to theta waves.â You nodded your head, understanding. âBut itâs actually nothing like that.â You slumped your shoulders and glared at him because of his correction.
You let The Master reposition you again. Now you were lying between his legs with your head on his chest, while he rested back against your headboard. One of his hands partially cradled your face while he massaged your temple, his other hand petted your head and sometimes went down to caress your back. The Master notified you when he was about to start calming you telepathically; he wanted to give you another opportunity to stop this if you were uncomfortable with him doing this.
You let The Master do as he recommended. You felt a deep calm rush through your whole body and a numbing feeling radiating through your head. All of this, combined with the steady beating of The Masterâs hearts lulled you into a serene mood. You were virtually on the brink of sleep and your headache was steadily dissipating.
âMy little human.â Because you were on the brink of sleep you almost didnât hear The Master say this, but a small smile etched onto your face when you did. The little nickname The Master had given you was filled with love this time, not a mean tease.
âMy old Timelord.â You mumbled and then snuggled further into The Masterâs chest. The Master smiled down at you then placed a kiss on your forehead, just before you fell into a deep sleep, completely free of your headache.
