[ID copied from ALT: The first image is a digital drawing of Arthur and Oscar from malevolent. Arthur looks uncomfortable, and John is partially hiding behind him. Oscar is looking at him and speaking seriously. a text post below them reads "Idk what you did but god is pissed"
Next is a digital drawing of Charlie dowd from malevolent. he looks thoughtful and slightly uncomfortable, and has a thought bubble filled with images of the king in yellow and John in his manifested form. a text post below him reads guy who gets home from being held hostage by another guy and the first thing he does is google "I think I like men"
Next is a digital drawing of the King in Yellow, John, and Arthur. The king is holding Arthur in his tentacles, and Arthur is arching his back with his hand up to his head in a damsel pose. his mouth is open to imply he is moaning. both John and the king look uncomfortable, and John is blushing. a text post below them reads (getting torn asunder but I can't stop moaning so it gets weird).
Finally is a digital drawing of John and Kayne. John looks embarrassed as Kayne smiles and holds up a photo of Arthur crying. he points to it, and says the first part of a text post that reads "is this your man" the post continues to read shows an image of a malnourished injured exhausted man with big sad eyes looking up at the camera with blood smeared all over his face and mouth. and he is visibly trembling. Some sillies
(Yes I did change how I draw Oscar cause I liked @potato-lord-but-not’s design so much ok ok)
@horseboneologist gave me a list of prompts involving Hastur, on of which was “Hastur threatening John” and I like torturing my favorites. Poor John… 😘
Playing with a redesign to incorporate the pallid mask and a more fleshy look that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Of course I see all of the eldritch creatures/entities as more fluid and not really locked into how they appear, so I’m having fun being inconsistent with how I draw Hastur and his fragments lol
[ID: A doodle page for the Malevolent podcast, featuring several sketches of Arthur, John, Kayne, The King in Yellow, and Yellow. More detailed description in ALT Text.]
Bringing y'all my mid-season 3 Malevolent arts because this podcast has a grip on me. Featuring my Kayne design because I have SOOO many thoughts about that freak <3 his voice sounds a bit similar to Arthur to me and so I thought it might be fun if he was mocking the lads by wearing Arthur's face. As of s3 we have no idea wtf Kayne is supposed to be, anyways, but altering his form doesn't seem to be a power that's off the table. Also the concept of John not recognizing Arthur's face on a happier, less scarred form makes me want to throw up :) hope this helps!
I think they're pretty neat
So,,, I'm in a huge eldritch fixation rn and I did a group of The King In Yellow chibis on ArtFight! Plus, a cultist bc their design looked fun All of them were so interesting and unique augh,, In order: King In Yellow John King The Stranger Calyptos
The empty shells of fallen Dreamers, those caught by the servants of the King in Yellow, tormented and used for horrible experiments still wander the lost city, always seeking for what they lost.
The Dreamer finds herself in Lost Carcosa, and is saved by a cat of Ulthar.
@amyma-ymamy
The true impossibile nature of Carcosa as glimpsed by the Dreamer in her visions, as she wanders the lost city.
Work in progress (these are just the backgrounds) for my project with @amyma-ymamy .
The Dreamer finds herself in Carcosa, and is saved by a Cat of Ulthar.
Work in progress that is taking me way too long, for my pet project with @amyma-ymamy.
Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.
Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.
Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.
Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.
—"Cassilda's Song" in The King in Yellow Act 1, Scene 2
It may be that I saw the Yellow Sign, but... this is the first of a series of paintings for a project I am working on with @amyma-ymamy. Hope you like it, it is the first city I paint.
As usual, I know nothing.
