while I was doing your commissions, I was able to finish the art with Angel Eyes. recently I started to get involved in old westerns, and it was this character that I found particularly interesting. I think Lee Van Cleef is a genius actor.
“Haven't seen you for a long time, Douglas.” “You haven't changed, little brother.”
I'm pretty sure they are brothers (twins)
I decided to draw this AU again because it seems attractive to me. I can see the interaction of these characters absolutely well. And I wrote a few lines about it.
MOTRTIMER BROTHERS AU
The Mortimer brothers were never particularly close, and after the death of their younger sister, they completely drifted away from each other. Douglas dedicated his life to hunt for assassins and, above all, the opportunity to get revenge on El Indio. Sentenza was indifferent and he went his own way. Wandering itself for him was something like the meaning of life.
When brothers cross, they usually say hello and chat a little, but this does not develop into something more. They begin to measure their wit and simply show off. Sentenza is usually the first to overstep the boundaries of what is permissible and mentions his sister, and then Douglas remembers all the reasons why he does not get along with his younger brother. They disperse in complete confidence that they do not want to intersect, but at a distance they remember each other more often than one might imagine. There are many unsaid words between them, and at the same time, too much has been said.
Douglas doesn't know what Sentenza really thinks about his sister. A little, sometimes. If he faced the opportunity to get revenge on Indio, he would make such an attempt. It would be a cunning plan that would surely end in the younger Mortimer's victory.
They both know their merits. Douglas is the best marksman, while Sentenza has a sharper mind. They are both well versed in people, both are able to unite with other people for the sake of benefit (and at the same time convince them to go for it). But what really unites them is their passion for life. If Douglas avenged his sister and Sentenza received the coveted million, they would very soon get bored with a quiet and measured life in abundance. They are one of those who most likely wandered through dry lands before the fatal bullet. Although Douglas has a much better chance of adapting to a peaceful life than Sentenza.
trying my best to make them look somehow different (I'm failing)
A tgtbtu AU that was beamed into my brain. Angel Eyes and Blondie as the angel and devil on Tuco's shoulders.
sorry bad joke Not Funny.
This is so accurate WHAT
Angel Eyes and Col. Douglas Mortimer. I watched For a Few Dollars More and immediately thought of this drawing trend.
